22	Oupsie You can let your beard grow as long as you like and no one complains, but if a woman doesn't use tampons or pads, then blood goes everywhere and it is a biological contaminant. People freak out about blood and we can't control when it starts or stops or how much blood comes out. It is unavoidable. We have to take certain precautions to prevent, mainly, the embarrassment of having blood down our legs all the time. (Have you seen a woman with white or khaki pants very often?)
