I'm a bi-male who occasionally goes out specifically to meet a guy. OP's assessment is pretty spot on.

As soon as she tells you, repeat it back to her, and then mentally say it to yourself a few times through the conversation.

He was... well, his face was, for about 7 seconds.

Well... that was stupid. Why would comparing yourself to Brad Pitt have any benefit? Also, who asks a girl out over the phone? Face to face, eye contact, and immediate roll off.

This may or my not help, but just write your name in the air with your booty. Seriously. Try it to some music. What, you got a better idea?

And sometimes it is. Just go with what happens.

No, I mean that women are often willing to come over as a first date. I've heard "I've never had anyone offer to cook for me on the first date before!"

I'll agree with a couple of points here: 1st date at your place is usually pretty solid. And clean your bathroom. I was a regular at Club Friendzone for a long time and one of the big things girls would talk about was how gross the guy's bathroom was.

Isn't #10 part of the whole reason for this sub? Other than that, completely agree. Especially #12. Most of my problems stemmed from me believing Disney and 80's teen comedy's bullshit.

"But those are my best qualities!" and disengage.

I guess it's worth a shot.

Well, I have noticed there is a distinct disconnect between what is said and what is reality. Ex: I wrote a couple's life insurance policies. Even as they were handing me the check the wife was still saying "I think we want to think about it", but she gladly signed all the forms and has kept the policy in force to this day.

It does. I have used techniques from my sales training in the field.

You will be AMAZED at the number of correlations between sales and seduction. I mean it's the same thing really, just with different end game results.

No, see it's in the wrist, "Oh?"

Now, how do you use it in sales? I am thinking mostly as a way to probe an objection a bit to find out how to get around it.

I've been in sales for a number of years. It is the real reason I have studied PUA teachings. Thats all PUA are, sales reps. Just.... like... cock sales reps.

I've found that the only way to learn to win is to discover that losing isn't so bad. The Fear of Rejection is strong enough to keep you from trying so go out and fail like a mother fucker! Fail hard. Fail stupid badly. In my time of learning/teaching martial arts I've discovered that no matter how well someone learns technique, they still get ground into the mat when they start sparring. This is because they are so concerned with not getting hit that they lose sight of everything else they know…

I work in sales and have learned to apply some PUA techniques to that. It isn't an assertion of my will over another's. It is a show of value. One of the things our monkey brain is hardwired to do is follow the leader, the Alpha, the most successful. This is biologically expressed as confidence and dominace. I wouldn't have a very long career if I kicked down a client's door, dropped my massive balls on the table, and then told them where to sign. I am confident and very sure of myself, my compa…

Yeah, I mean it is all solid advice, but it is also basic advice. I was never given any details, just glib platitudes about attitude and the like.

Yeah, the article reads as if someone had game explained to him over the course of a long car ride, but they forgot all but the basics when they sat down to write. They seem to know enough to crash and burn pretty hard and not know why.

What? These old things? -or- Thanks, they came with the head. "Ya, your ass looks great through them." A bit creepy but good reference "The better to see you with, my dear" Don't think I'd use those. A compliment like that is a low level IoI. You can use these to your advantage as an opener. Simple ones like, "Come on, there must be easier ways to hit on me!" I'm sure Seddit can come up with better prizing techniques, but thats a start.

Does that handbag line usually open a set? I have a similar one. "Jeez, that thing is big enough to keep a small cat inside!" Not sure why it works, just does. Bitches love cats.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
