To keep trying.. Y'all think that there's is NO ONE who wants you after trying a few times? There will always be more disappointment than approval unless you are incredibly lucky.

I mean, the moment I hear she is "demi..." im out. The guy dodged a bullet anyway.. Also i only ever hear of women being "demisexual" never men...interesting...

True but those who are sex positive seems to be pro cheating.. based on this subreddit

True, but the argument here is "fuck marriage"..Marriage isnt needed.

It is NOT controlling at all. If your partner loves/respects you, they would respect your lines..and you would respect theirs....within reason of course. If its a no go for you and she chooses to go anyway, then you have a decision to make: 1. compromise 2. leave.

ITs because people are listening too much to social media putting this garbage out there. Taking what you hear online as gospel is what creates posts like this and makes people think this bs is true and then convinces people to start acting this shit out.

Maybe? but im not so sure...Dating App usage is lessening as the years go on...its slowly dying. At least thats what im reading.

yes, but the court of public opinion dont care about that...
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/24 01:14 PM

Disagree.. We should only talk to one, if we are looking for something meaningful and long term. "Keeping your options open" just leads to feelings being hurt, confusion, possibly cheating. The only reason I ever talked to more than one person was because I just wanted to have a good time.

The best and healthiest thing one can do in situations like this, is to stop caring so much about finding a partner. Focus on you. Get a hobby, join groups, do some fitness, read, just do something that takes your mind off that superficial crap. Focus on making friends and let things happen for you naturally.

There is literally no difference. They are interchangeable..but peoples "feelings" get hurt... I just ignore them. People getting butthurt over words and getting offended for others is ridiculous.

Huh? no...no they dont say this. There are ugly and pretty skinny women (subjectively). Same goes for curvy, overweight, fat women.

Its all related to physical attraction. All of it. You wont know someones personality simply by looking or even at first glance. So, for most cases, the cold approach/looking and smiling at (flirting) approach is only really well received when the other person is attractive (in a general sense). I am fully aware, there are instances where someone approaches and isnt all that attractive, but their personality shines through and the other party gives them a chance...however in MOST cases, this is …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 08:11 AM

Most people dont hate them. They just wont date them...Theres nothing wrong with having that preference. I will not date anyone who is/was a sex worker in any capacity... Personally, in my own opinion, sex work is not honorable work and is filled with people who were forced to perform that kind of "work".
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 07:45 AM

Men being forced into relationship? What?? I thought so many men were complaining because they cant find a relationship. Also " It has been brought up here a few times, how some guys are forced to seek out relationships in order to have access to sex" -- HAve they never heard of Fuck buddies? Hooking up? These are simply men who want sex without the relationship? I am not understanding this post.

I agree with you here. What we are seeing is a loud minority on social media trying to make these issues the forefront...They are far less of an issue than people actually think. People just need to chill and let things happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/23 07:57 AM

Again, posts like this seem to be referring to men you see on red pill / MGTOW social media. The general populace is not like this.

People. Not just men.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 09:39 AM

As long as you and your partner agree with this, then no theres nothing wrong. dont go years into a relationship/marriage with a person who loves her and spring this on them..what you are asking wont be possible then.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 01:21 PM

Just dont be a douche and usually people are pretty nice. Unless they are drunk...dont approach drunk people.

How so if I may ask? From what I am seeing, the left is promoting sexual freedom, dressing however you want, identifying as you want, etc. How is this anti sexual?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 11:46 AM

what is promoted and what is actually happening are totally different. Thats the problem. People are having to learn the hard way that what is being said online/in media isnt the case in practice.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 11:44 AM

What you just said had nothing to do with who you are replying to said. It is promoted that looks arent always that important. Stop detracting and address what they actually said.

Honestly..I don't buy into the whole alpha beta nonsense. I'm any case, I'm not a pushover if that's what you mean. No issues leaving someone who doesn't respect\appreciate me. Also I don't understand your message.. They found a beta provider? You mean they are in a relationship but still looking for fun with others? Please explain.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 08:58 AM

In my case, I wasnt the Beta Buxx you describe.. I had/have the lifetime sub to Bumble (sad to say). However I got it because I prefer to see who likes my profile first then I swipe on those who showed interest first. I dont go on the main page and swipe. I would swipe until I got 3 matches then quit. then restart once those 3 have ended or closed or whatever. However, I will say, woman are JUST AS bad as men on these apps. I have tried every single app there is..that was until i landed on bumbl…

While I get what you are trying to say. It's in our DNA to be physically attracted to those of the opposite sex or whoever we are attracted to. If I get an erection looking at a woman who is naked or and about, I'm going to be labeled a pervert though it's a normal thing to happen. It would cause many distractions and ultimately lead to more harassment..
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 02:47 PM

Ill give you that...especially younger people. Andrew Tate for example...This loud minority reaches a lot of people and spreads the same sentiment. while some of what the red pillers say does make sense...people like Tate have no place even speaking honestly.. I just personally think that a lot of what is discussed on these podcasts doesnt happen as often as they make it sound...but they make it look like it does.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 02:43 PM

No..its not. You both are right. How can you say that "bitch" is the first one...you are likely basing this on your experience, but this isnt fact. you both can be right.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 02:26 PM
5

hm..maybe. But on average, people do not care if a person is promiscuous. Sure, flaunting it will get you weird looks. Such lifestyles, especially flaunting it are just not conducive to monogamous relationships. what I dont like, is someone telling me im wrong for not dating a woman who did certain sexual things in her life that Im not ok with. The only reason you feel its heavily demonized is because of social media. Its a loud minority.

Probably not you no..But I think OP is trying to bring up the conversation about the near future. If AI GFs become the norm, the tech becomes more sophisticated, more life-like, more everything, maybe it will become an actual issue for women. People keep saying that "low quality" men will be the ones to use AI, but I can see "high quality" men doing the same depending on how good the tech is. I guess this is more of a "What If" kind of conversation.

a bit presumptuous. Maybe he wants an AI that does have her own wants/desires, but isnt rude about it like what He might be used to. Maybe he wants an AI who is just decent at expressing themselves without causing more drama. Just a guess though.

No offense but you both sound a little bitter. But then again, we are taking random people on the internet seriously with their "stories". Im willing to bet that either 1. your stories arent true, 2. the other party had legit values but you VIEWED them as idiots, or 3. a few guys treated you wrong and now you are blanket coating them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 05:43 AM

Ive experimented, but didnt stick with it. I personally wouldnt date a bi woman, but thats just my opinion. The why is, that I wouldnt want to invest a good chunk of my life with someone, just for her to get confused or change her mind halfway through our marriage about what she is attracted to. I understand this can happen to anyone, but I just feel that it would be more prevalent in people who are Bi.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 07:49 AM

The problem is, these "studies" are based on the honor system..meaning they rely on the subject being honest. Take ALL of this with a huge grain of salt.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 08:16 AM

This is not true. First off, you are taking peoples word by what you read online. Most of what you see online is fake anyway. Most people (Men) do not care about a womans sexual history. What people DO care about is context behind it. Context is everything. If I am on a date with a woman, and she had sex with someone the night before, Yea im out. This is actually kinda common with online dating. If she had sex with someone she was dating, before her and I met, then its not an issue. Context. If …

Are the majority of men the best looking? No.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 12:26 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 12:25 PM

Then you arent talking about most men or even the average man. You are merely talking about those "top G's".
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 12:22 PM

This gets kinda dicey. Unless you are in a relationship, you are technically single. LEGALLY you are single until you are married. Personally, if someone asks, ill tell them im single but I am seeing someone casually if Im in a f+ or something.

But what is "free sex" thats what OP is asking. What does it mean here?

This doesnt address OPs question.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 12:15 PM

Thats..not a good reason to cheat...
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/23 10:02 AM

It is not the norm...well, in my experience. I USED to expect this when dating..only to be let down every single time because "I never brought it up". Now it has to be specifically talked about and agreed upon.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/23 09:59 AM

You keep saying that but provide nothing to show...

This is self explanatory right? People who dont do the hookup thing, will have less sex. And 1 + 1 = 2. Also, if you are hooking up, the more attractive you are will grant you more possibilities for hooking up...

Becuase you only see it online. That is no way indicative of the general populous. Most of what you see online is either fake or manufactured or has very little truth to it. The entire red pill, bad bitch etc this and that, all come from people online trying to start some sort of "movement". People online do not represent the average person or the general populous. Its only popular because we see a bunch of people online doing it.

thats definitley incorrect. Just ask my ex lol

Well, at least you are honest. anything you say then is just anecdotal.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 09:50 AM

Im failing to see what point you are trying to make.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/23 03:48 PM

As I am a person who doesnt like the whole casual dating thing, I would wait 2 days for person 1 to respond. If they dont, I simply say "It was nice meeting you" and unmatch and then go with person 2.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/23 02:15 PM

I think its simple. People who dont believe in casual dating, like to keep it to 1 person at a time. So yea I can see where I would wait for person 1 to respond and if not, unmatch and move on to person #2.

I can imagine that if people stopped using the apps for dating, they would become more social and interact more with each other. They would be more open to building their friend circles. Men and women would have a much smaller number of options since they dont connect with people long distance. In a way you would be forced to concentrate more on who is around/near you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 09:34 AM

What level and attention are you referring to? The hookup kind of attention?

Thank you! Freaking finally someone said it. 100% agree with this. Its because of social media/dating apps that people are so damn up in arms about dating culture and the like. This whole "paradox of choice" thing turned out to be a real pain in the ass. If you just get rid of the dating apps, and dont treat social media as your Dating buffet, you will be happier, at least a little bit. Get involved with friends/groups/just getting outside, you will be happier for it!

I see both your points. OP is kinda right. While her potential suiters may have already been filtered, thats not something she can control. She lives there and frequents where she frequents. Its only natural to be approached from people in those same areas. This is how dating was done prior to online dating. What is she supposed to do? I think the only complaints people are making, pertain to online dating. At least from what I am seeing. If we are excluding online dating, then this argument is clear. But with online, you dont have to approach women IRL to see whats going on and complain about it.

A person does not know if they are bothering someone. We are talking about approaching someone you might be interested in asking on a date. How is that "bothering" on the very first attempt with no prior interaction? GTFOH regarding "social cues". This doesnt apply to initial and first interactions. Use your damn words. Sure, If a guy approaches and says "hello" and shes reponding with her back to him, then yea, walk away. But if shes talking to the guy face to face, how is he supposed to know i…

The way you talk, you approach everyone, every single chance you get. Dont be purposefully obtuse here. If I were to go to a club/bar/social gathering and hit on every woman there, of course a reputation would build... Also depending on where the person lives, this will happen even quicker.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/23 02:27 PM

There are limits to this.. You don't want a reputation. Doing what you are suggesting creates a reputation and not a good one. I do agree though, that people can't really complain if they haven't even tried. I have tried multiple times and got burned pretty badly.... Not just rejection, but ridicule and shit... But that was a long time ago. I'll admit, in my case, i do get looks from women and i don't engage... Maybe I'm nervous or maybe i think they would cheat or whatever the reason...i could …

Why? Because we are human and we have good and bad days. Both men and women have days where they want attention now. As long as what you are doing isnt important, then fine, nothing wrong with interrupting it. Personally, if I am playing a video game, its not a big deal if my partner interrupts it, unless im playing in some special tournament or something. I absolutely do not care how much money she makes. Even if she doesnt have a job, im ok with that as long as she is trying to improve. Someone who doesnt try will lose my interest. As long as she lives within her means with the amount of money she makes, i would be happy.

Im getting "still simping" vibes from your post. If you gave up an interest because she has a fit every time you do it, then you simping. If shes just having off days sometimes and wants you to drop everything (within reason) and pay attention to her, thats cool.

Your post doesnt make sense. "Stop trying to figure out what youre supposed to say in favor of listening to what shes saying" -- In your own post you state she told you she wanted you to be nice. You heard her and reciprocated. Yet it was the wrong thing. You arent a damn mind reader. You can only help when the person actually articulates what they want. No amount of intent listening will change that. What someone says and what they mean are often very different, but im not gonna feel bad if I…

I agree with this. I have been with women who were overly jealous or accusatory, which in itself isnt that bad. But when its constant, then we have a problem. Getting jealous when someone is very obviously flirting with me, there is nothing wrong with that at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/23 08:07 AM

Then you are faking it. I dont know about other men, but I love jealousy in a woman. Of course, Not "grab the wheel and run the car off the road " kinda jealous, but showing the other woman flirting with me, that I belong to you is hot!

Well now you are simply judging every future partner based on the acts of a past partner...and we are taught not to do that. Learn from it, sure..but to judge anyone in the future for having a healthy amount of jealousy is wrong.

I just think more people are more interested in short term satisfaction than long term happiness. However I feel this pertains to online dating mostly. Did it on and off for over 10 years and as a Man, the majority of women whom I had actually wanted to develop something with, only wanted sex. Those who wanted more with me, I simply wasnt attracted to...it sucks. I wish I wasnt like this...
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/23 07:15 AM

I dont believe you. What you are describing is temporary at best. Assuming "bachelor life" provides sex, the average man will choose this over a sexless marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 02:37 PM

This is definitely not how it works..not for long anyway.

I think this entire conversation is blown way outta proportion. You guys all listen to media and then this tiny issue is made to look like a much bigger one. I dont know a single guy who thinks this way as described by OP. Regarding body count, i think this applies to all people. This feelings one has when hearing their partners number is subjective, but I believe a good portion of people would cringe inside a little bit if the number is very high for them. Its not a pleasant thing to hear most …

From where did you pull this?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 12:46 PM

Yes, he should support her. The problem is, it goes against the old fashioned norm of the man being the "bread winner" and he is therefore looked down on and then gets cheated on or left for a man who makes equal or better than her. According to all the current dating statistics I keep reading about here.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/23 09:41 AM

Thats very dependent on experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/23 09:21 AM

Because women dont need apps to get a partner. Men have to work to find a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/23 09:20 AM

I get the idea behind it...However the abuse of this can/will be rampant and this outweighs the benefits. What happens when there is a false rape/SA accusation? The guy wont know....
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/23 09:36 AM
2

thats true...when talking to their friends face to face. But this is the INTERNET...this is like going go a concert of thousands of people and yelling someones info into the microphone.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/23 09:34 AM

But what happens when its a false accusation?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/23 09:33 AM

So you hate it when companies get your information... But its totally fine to make groups like this, share the guys info and then potentially ruin his livelihood....awesome.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/23 09:32 AM

Not completely. The idea area around it is looking out for each other, but a simple "bad date" is misinterpreted and then potentially ruins a persons livelihood.

Doesnt mean its o to create groups like this and potentially ruin a persons livelihood.

Thats great and all, but there are also lives being ruined just over a bad date. At least thats whats being said in some of these groups.Im sorry but if men created such a group about women, they would be banned immediately. EDIT: so I did a search and found 1 group "are we dating the same woman". There are hundreds of "are we dating the same guy"..... Depends on how much work. If you look like a doll, then yes, Id be inclined to agree. But, Im sure there are a lot of men who wouldnt date a woman who had any work done. Im not one of them, but im also not an incel. Maybe my input doesnt matter here.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/23 02:28 PM
1

Not by men who like women who actually like when they say/do what they are thinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/23 02:25 PM
1

It stems from me wanting something worth while. I simply dont like to share someone I am happy with. I dont see how a fear of rejection would make me possessive/jealous. I simply find another if I am rejected... I have tried both mono and poly and i simply dont enjoy ploy completely. I am mono because sharing experience with one person is more worth while and meaningful. In anything poly I have seen or participated in, it was more sexual than anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 03:10 PM

Well, shes kinda right. Those who DO initiate, will only do so if the other person is attractive to them. However what everyone here is forgetting is that ON AVERAGE, women do not initiate.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/22 03:10 PM

If what you say is true, then YOU are the exception. However on average, women do not initiate, men do or are expected to.. Thats the entire point here.

Sigh... I know my opinion doesnt matter, being a male and all, but this is an open forum. You are basing it on physical responsibility only. However its more than that. There were two creators of that baby, there should be equal say in the matter. However if you think men should have absolutely no say in the matter, then ill agree, as long as men can choose to not be monetarily responsible.

Perfectly fine with woman having a height preference...within reason. If shes 5ft4 and her bio says Minimum 6ft2, I mean...its a preference, but a pretty crap one. On the other side, I actually like when my partner has some experience sexually. Now, it doesnt take much experience to learn what you like/dislike and to learn how to do things in bed. Mature conversation cures everything. The way people communicate today, be it politics/dating/religion/anything really, is deplorable. Everyone is offended. No one can admit when they might be wrong. There is a comedian who pointed this out perfectly. He said a difference between men and women: Women want to have sex with the rock star backstage in the VIP. A man will choose the woman selling pretzels outside the hall. Im butchering it..and I cant find it, but its old and just popped into my mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 08:13 AM

huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 08:07 AM

Exactly this. A lot of Red Pilled People (pickup artists mostly) say true things, but often in a very crude way.. I just dont agree with how some red pilled people present their ideas. JustPearlyThings on youtube seems to do a good job. But Andrew Tate/freshandfit and the like, i cant get on board with.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 08:03 AM
39

I agree to some extent. Not Andrew Tate or FreshandFit levels but some.. I base this off personal experience and statistics from online dating. I mean, people can argue all day about the "90% of women wanting only 10% of men ideology" but stats are stats. Personal experience, Constantly being told by women that "maybe the problem is you", as to why i end relationships with women who give me reasons not to trust them. Im 38 and still single. Get plenty of matches and go on a lot of dates..however…

thats a lie. Every other woman i meet online wants exactly that. No lie. I make it clear im looking for a relationship. What do they respond with? "Well, lets just see how it goes and go with the flow"...Most of them have "i dont know" listed as to what they are looking for and a lot of them have "relationship" listed but then backtrack when asked...Most of my F+ situations came from these apps. You are asking him to ghost/not show up to dates..as he said, thats cruel. A good test yes, but cruel.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 08:18 AM

Hence ghosting. Problem is women get so many matches and they actively engage with a lot of them, that many are left ghosted.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 08:14 AM
3

Agreed. OLD has only caused me to be bitter towards women even though I get a lot of matches. Problem is, I keep meeting the same woman, she only looks different. Its made me jaded from OLD and now admittedly I almost judge women i meet before even speaking to them. I hate that I am like this. I wish I could go back to being blissfully ignorant of this current dating culture where everyone is fucking everyone. Again..women dont NEED apps..Men do. Apps are catered to women to appeal to them, to try to get them to join. Men still outnumber women on the apps because we think thats where the women are. Supply and Demand.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 07:58 AM

Because women easily find men IRL and dont need apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 07:56 AM

Well, Hoe oder Whore is a prostitute. I think in this case, they are referring to sluts, which is a woman who has many casual sexual partners... given the current times, i think this is most people. Personal opinion. To me, it all depends on the reason for the number of sexual partners. Its ENTIRELY possible a high body count is reached due to dating and hoping it turns to something more, and simply doesnt. In cases like this, I dont judge. /r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 09:26 AM
1

So you prefer online?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 12:34 PM
1

I disagree. It's not chosen for you. Women have all the options afforded to them in OLD and then they might hookup with a couple "high quality" men, then assume that's the kind of man they need to aspire to get. Same thing happens with men. But that's just one example. Online dating das skewed people's expectations and we are seeing the effects of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 10:54 AM
1

There's a difference between what are are looking for in general and what you are looking for in that specific person. Everyone knows what their ultimate goal is. But you have no idea what you want with that other person yet, hence why you get to know them. If i ask, what she is looking for and she gives me some vague or unless response, then i lose interest. It's pretty easy to tell someone "I'm looking for something casual" or " I'm hoping to find a relationship" or something similar.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 10:50 AM

On average. It doesn't mean it applies 100 percent universally.. Bit it does likely for the general populace
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 06:28 PM

This is untrue. No man expects a woman to wear makeup. What we DO expect is that IF you do wear makeup, and you attract a Chad, don't automatically assume that you yourself are a 10 when you aren't really. Also not one of forcing you to buy them makeup. It's also not men brainwashing you to do it.. It's the media, magazines, models who do.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 10:38 AM

I agree that both should exercise free will of course.. But how do you explain the stats regarding current dating behavior?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 07:00 PM

Isn't it possible the reason so many men are acting like it's is a result of what op is stating? The stats about 90 percent of women all sleeping with or dating the top 10 percent of men?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 06:58 PM

True but those guys get the girl anyway regardless of how you look at it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 06:55 PM

lol..then you have no idea what you are talking about. Its not overstated, the shit actually happens. Im an attractive/fit guy and the shit still happens. I have literally been berated by a woman for not being as materialistic as her.

wow...are so hopelessly wrong lol..However I am on your side about being against it. Unfortunately, as long as women sell/give it away, a thirsty man will be there to lap it up.

3

Dont have to get married and deal with the potential to lose half/all of your assets..thats a big one. If the laws changed you would see more marriages for sure. Whether they last, of course, thats the question. Again, I feel the problem is largely online dating/social media.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 12:10 PM
1

WEllll....while I understand what you mean. If men simply said no to that, it would be obvious who is at fault here. Unfortunately both are at fault. Men are extremely sexual being by nature. Women know how to be sexy and how to exploit that in men to get what they want and we fall for it every time. So yes, women do open their legs, bt we also push in the peen.

The media... When someone hears Feminism, they think extreme left violent man bashing women. Because of twitter/facebook/youtube/tiktok all I see in regards to a feminist, are women who wish death to men or talk about how men are not needed.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 08:43 AM

Hm..this sounds more like a man bashing post.. Also can you blame men for assuming things like that given the dating culture today? If they are then fighting you when you decline, then yea you got me there. However its not just a men problem. There have been times I declined a woman just for her to get really pissed off just because of how attractive she thinks she is. This is a universal problem.
