Being raised by a single mother who wonders why I don't man up.To be honest, it's a really tricky subject. Especially when you bring relationships into it. Becoming sincere and confident takes time and practice, but even once you have it, you still need to understand tact and subtly. It's incumbent on men to be the rock in most relationships. Sorry if that upsets any women reading this, but I really believe this to be true. I don't mean it in a sexist way against women.....but, purely from an evolutionary point of view, it's us that need to be the shock abs… | /r/MensRights | 05/10/12 03:29 PM
Why neediness is bad, why it exists, and how to fix itJust an honest question here(and maybe this speaks to why so many redittors are single). I'm trying to imagine what it is to truly "have fun". Very few of us enjoy going to a bar, making small talk and sipping a beer. We're more likely going to have a blast, alone, behind our computers playing some RPG. Guys who are naturally good with women might just honestly enjoy the world surrounding pickup more than most of us do. | /r/seduction | 26/07/11 09:54 PM
Shy / Good / Sensible GirlsI've know three girls like this. All of them were secretly fucking some other alpha on the side that nobody knew about...and I mean NOBODY. I ended up dating the one for a while. The stories she told me about how she lost her virginity were fucking insane. It kind of messed my head up for a while, knowing that some of the most beautifully innocent girls you will ever meet are secretly fucking the football coach. Anyway...that's just my anecdotal take on it. If I'm right...try speaking to her out… | /r/seduction | 04/06/11 12:05 PM
Are you studying seduction to get chicks, or to be a better man?yeah ....I also think there's been too much of a culture shift in a single generation. our mothers are not the same gender as our girlfriends. fuck it...they're a different species. Everything my mother made me believe about what women want is almost the exact opposite of what girls my age want. Been a hard road. | /r/seduction | 18/05/11 09:00 PM
Are you studying seduction to get chicks, or to be a better man?yeah ....give him a chance. I was painfully shy until I found myself. I never realised what a turn off it was for women because, weirdly, I kind of picked up from my mother that it's kind of shameful to be brash and confident. anyway...that was bullshit. | /r/seduction | 18/05/11 08:25 PM
Lessons learned from 1st game-driven relationshipThis is actually rather disheartening to me. Do you really have to run game all the time, for the rest of the relationship....possibly your life? fuck that....that's not a relationship. I want someone I can open up to...and if that means that woman will lose attraction for me than I guess I don't want them either. I guess, if I was more of a player, I would use this post as yet another reason to stay one. I'm not criticizing the post...it's actually brilliant and certainly within the context of … | /r/seduction | 26/04/11 09:01 PM
Just a girl lookin' out for the AFCsI know what you're trying to do I say this to girls when I catch them wearing make-up. | /r/seduction | 04/04/11 07:09 AM
Girl writes article for school newspaper on how to get free drinks from guysalso true.... but I think there is a more profound weirdness to the male side of the story. The very concept of chivalry, for example, stems from the somewhat backwards notion that men need to value themselves more by valuing their lives less. | /r/MensRights | 15/02/11 05:56 PM
Girl writes article for school newspaper on how to get free drinks from guysI'm not even judging them personally. The worst thing about this is the bigger problem of the Misandric society which has taught us men to feel as if we need to earn our value...while female value is intrinsic to their gender. | /r/MensRights | 15/02/11 09:39 AM
What can I do if I am boring and not funny? One of the things which helped me when I was your age was to join various clubs/groups. They don't all have to be clubs where you meet women...in fact, forget about that for now. Just join some clubs, anything, a chess club, a rock climbing club, scuba diving. This will give you the opportunity to start socializing without the need to be funny or charming. You can genuinely just get together with a bunch of other scuba divers(for example) and talk scuba. After a while you will find that your nat… | /r/seduction | 14/01/11 06:34 AM
A Thought Experiment to Gauge Your Skill with WomenNailed it. This is why seduction is so counter-intuitive. The guys who get it right seem to be doing it wrong. Part of me wishes women would realize the hypocrisy in it all.....but I'm trying to get over that mind-set. Attraction is not logical, and from a women's point of view, it almost needs to seem magical and illogical to be worth anything. | /r/seduction | 06/01/11 06:02 AM
For runing away from his forced circumsision ritual, an orphan boy was chased, beaten, stabbed with a spear, abducted, and is currently in critical condition at a hospital in South Africa.Die Antwoord ? | /r/MensRights | 31/12/10 11:00 AM
Want a good laugh?why is it that woman have such a bad understanding of how attraction works? | /r/seduction | 25/12/10 11:54 AM
Favorite False Disqualifiers?I'm curious about this. Do you think a 10 to 15 year age gap is more acceptable in the lesbian community? A guy trying to pick up a girl ten years younger than him can come off as creepy...but, for some reason, I suspect that's not the case in the lesbian community. Don't really know what I'm talking about though...just a hunch. | /r/seduction | 17/12/10 06:50 AM
Are women aware of the pickup community now?Exactly...and wholesome and douchey woman paint their faces every Friday night to make themselves look like something they are not. It's all manipulation....and there's nothing inherently wrong with that. We're all just trying to put our best(somewhat contrived) foot forward. | /r/seduction | 07/12/10 09:38 AM
Strong WomanAlso true...but still connected to my conclusion. If I break up with a girl because I come to find out that she's too controlling....I'll be accused of being intimated by her strength. | /r/MensRights | 02/12/10 10:33 AM
Feminism and some views on the draft. They want rights first and obligatons only after women control everything. It's true that men are probably more likely to get into a fight in a club or a bar but wars are not started because of testosterone and alcohol. Take a look into the complex sequence of events that lead up to WW2. It involved broken treaties, power grabs and an escalation of discontent amongst men AND woman. When the time comes to actually mobilize an army, it seldom has much to do with clichéd male bravado. Would Sarah Palin attack Iran? would Hillary ? I think both are probably more likely to … | /r/MensRights | 01/12/10 06:25 PM
I'm a Misogynist. Tips for overcoming?woah... that's a leap. My self loathing? I don't have a very romantic view of mankind....and I personally think we're far closer to animals than to angels, but I would not describe it as self loathing. I think when you break it all down our behavior is fairly base, which is not necessarily a bad thing once you come to terms with it. It's simply somewhat of a letdown if you were raised to believe in something more. | /r/seduction | 26/11/10 07:57 PM
I'm a Misogynist. Tips for overcoming?I'm not sure what advice to give you but I know that it's something a lot of men are going through. A number of guys I know have alluded to what you are saying here. After a lifetimes of rejection you cannot help but feel some bitterness towards the opposite sex (and that goes for both men and woman). What really started to make me angry was when I realized how fucked up the whole attraction game actually is. Friends of mine would do little more than the adult equivalent of pulling a girls pig-t… | /r/seduction | 24/11/10 01:33 PM
Don't "friend" girls you're interested inNot completely related but I make sure not to reply on email,IM too much in business. If I want something done I pick up the phone. I've noticed a lot of younger employees find it a difficult thing to do because they've grown up with digital communication and, as a result, they're less effective at making things happen. Verbal communication is an art. Learn it. Master it. | /r/seduction | 17/11/10 12:43 PM
Dressing well: the much-overlooked aspect of gaming. The wardrobe guys for that show deserve an Emmy. What's worse is when guys wear those kind of shirt without tucking them in. | /r/seduction | 10/11/10 06:35 AM
Dressing well: the much-overlooked aspect of gaming.Country specific. I'm not American...so ? Converting to dollars.... I get mine done for about $6 a shirt. | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 10:22 PM
Dressing well: the much-overlooked aspect of gaming. Here's the best tip I can give any guy. Most men seem to be between a medium and a large. Large shirts look terrible. It looks like you're wearing a tent. A shirt that's slightly too small can look even worse. What I do is: Find "fitted shirts" or "trim cut" (Large in my case) example "Fitted" shirts can be hard to come by, so track down a tailor. Buy large shirts and pay a few extra bucks for a tailor to take it in. This only works if you're in shape though. If you're overweight...sort that out… | /r/seduction | 09/11/10 08:43 AM
Women get their own man-gaming tips from magazinesyes ... although I read recently that, below a certain age(I think it was 25) the average woman actually has more sexual partners than the average man, and that there are a small number of men that have a lot of sexual partners. ..but take that with a pinch of salt because I read it on a digg link. | /r/seduction | 08/11/10 06:49 PM
Women get their own man-gaming tips from magazinesthose are really good. To bad about this one. Don't Meet Him Halfway or Go Dutch on a Date I'll pay for everything every second date which I guess amounts to going Dutch. Seems to work for me, I've never dated a girl who has a problem with this...but I also never date girls who don't work. | /r/seduction | 08/11/10 05:08 PM
Women get their own man-gaming tips from magazinesSure. Just as there are both kinds of men. When the small percentage of men do it (and get it right), it stands out in such stark contrast to the rest of us that people take notice. "WOW! look at what a player that guy is". "Such a womanizer !" The majority of woman are pulling it off at such an instinctual level and from such a young age that no-one seems to notice. | /r/seduction | 08/11/10 04:58 PM
Women get their own man-gaming tips from magazinesNews for everyone: Most woman are born players. Ask any father of a daughter and he'll tell you stories of how instinctive it is for girls to manipulate people. And NO, I don't even mean that in a bad way. It's just the way the "fairer sex" is. Deal with it. From a young age woman sit around discussing ways to get men to like them. Laugh at his jokes, let him take the lead(even if you know better than him)...and so on. By the time they're 18, men are putty in their hands. It's us guys that are c… | /r/seduction | 08/11/10 08:03 AM
Seddit, what advice would you give your 17yo self?Embrace life. Don't take shit from men or woman. Travel Don't let society make you embarrassed about being a man. You owe no-one an apology for having balls. | /r/seduction | 01/11/10 09:40 AM
Mystery Method infield video: People often make fun of MM, but from this video of it being done correctly, I can imagine it's massively effectiveThe fact that this works has just dropped my opinion of woman through the goddamn floor. WTF ! | /r/seduction | 28/10/10 04:11 PM
How do you avoid the girl getting the impression you're way above her level and the only thing you can possibly be interested with her is quick sex?Are you Hank Moody ? | /r/seduction | 27/10/10 03:23 PM
What's the Seddit consensus on going after girls with boyfriends?Nicely answered but I have to say this. The acid test would be to see how you would handle it when it happens to you. Lots of people here seem to be saying that there's nothing wrong with stealing some guys girl(as long as you don't know him - a logic I don't really follow). With that in mind, if some guy out-alphas you and steals your girl. you should simply acknowledge that you just got out-played...and move on, no hard feelings, no judgement....and no referring to her as a "whore" | /r/seduction | 26/10/10 06:16 PM
What's the Seddit consensus on going after girls with boyfriends?upvoted for changing my mind. | /r/seduction | 26/10/10 03:03 PM
What's the Seddit consensus on going after girls with boyfriends?I honestly don't know how I feel about this. For years our society has been quite comfortable in placing all the blame on married men when they cheat. The hot little secretary that played the guy and got him to fuck up his life is never really stigmatized to the same extent that he is....not even close. In fact, she is often seen as one of the victims. I think all of us, even the most alpha of us, could have our SOs tempted away from us by someone else. Does that make it OK? Is it all just fair … | /r/seduction | 26/10/10 03:02 PM
