As far as the article's point is concerned, yes, I'm sure the women they are talking about are being hypocritical in their preferences, but sadly in this case, everyone is allowed to have their own preferences in what is attractive and what is not, even if it doesn't make sense to others. My focus was on the comment below the title, as I believe it's spot-on; women are 'plus-sized', men are fat...women are 'petite', men are short....and so on.

The thing is, a lot of people criticizing men don't say that, exactly. They simply say 'men'. 'Men do this, men say that'. When someone counters with the response 'not all men', they point out that they did not actually say 'all men', but rather just 'men' (as a 'linguistic shortcut'). Their standard, cookie-cutter argument at that point is that simply saying 'men' doesn't mean all men. (Pro tip: yes, it does.)

I saw the movie a couple of nights ago. I'm afraid I can't really share my opinion of the film, however, for two reasons-- one, I happen to be an 'old, white dude', and two, so far nobody has told me whether or not the film was 'made for me'. One issue I disagree with O'Neill's take on her comments is that he says Bergdorf should not have been fired for simply stating her opinions, which she has a right to do. An addendum to my story....after I got home from the bank, I told the story to my wife and niece, and they agreed.... with the woman. My son graduated Magna Cum Laude from a nearby university with a degree in elementary education. After graduating, he changed his mind and decided not to pursue a career in that field. Thank you God. I'm actually happy that he works for a home improvement store chain instead of teaching.
