I think the proportion of men who develop sexist attitudes towards women from these media will be the same as women who feel objectified by it. 1	The difference between sexual empowerment and sexual objectification. You're right. I do agree that it is objectification, but harmless. I know very little about the minds of girls and women, but I think that if they watch something designed to appeal to boys, then they should understand that it's not realistic, and therefore not let it affect them too deeply. There could be a legitimate reason for doing nothing. There's not much to be determined from the evidence available. He may or may not have been thinking about those things at the time.
