I mean we are bombarded with "gender appropriate" behaviors and examples from an early age to a monolithic degree and that is undoubtedly acting to enforce those roles. I'd love to see that change. I am saying that sex should be determinate of nothing and that people should be able to do whatever they want regardless of sex. I used the term gender defying to denote behaviors not expected based on those gender roles which are assigned in our society, not in defiance of some biological behavior prerogative. Don't get me wrong, if a boy or girl wants to do a bunch of gender defying behaviors or not they should be free to do so but I think they should aslo be able to take a role as man or woman if they choose. There are too many effeminate men and masculine women for me to accept a biological link to behaviors or interests without some really strong evidence to the contrary.
