I can say it a million times, but I can't understand it for you. I don't think you're reading my responses so I'll keep repeating myself as long as I need to to: niceness or lack there of has nothing to do with someone getting laid. No one thinks it does. Never once in my entire life have I ever encountered anything that says "oh Tim is nice, he must get laid all the time." As I said TWICE already, its just this made up internet thing that people repeat to each other.

its not a real thing, its some perpetual internet platitude people uncritically repeat to each other for gender war slop. Being nice never has been a requirement for getting laid, which is why no one thinks that they are entitled to getting laid because they are nice.

idk what to tell you, i couldn't possibly disagree more. I'm older than most of reddit, maybe not older than you so who knows, but confidence absolutely has correlated with people being able to enter short and long term relationships in my life experience. I looked the exact same after i became self employed, for a long while I was even poorer than I was a salary man, but I was making dozens sometimes hundreds of decisions a day that an employee normally doesn't have to make, it shot my confiden…

Well....working on a personality could unfortunately mean reinforcing the so called dark triad characteristics. Confidence is very important, and a lot of bad guys have plenty of that.

eh I think its more of a matter of social skills than anything. But I get your point.

No, that would turn the military from a war fighting machine to an explicitly political entity, and veterans who no longer are personally at risk would dominate the voting over the active military.

correct but I'm not sure if there were a lot of refugees from the 2014-2021 phase of the war.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 02:46 PM

this is correct, but I do think thats mostly a function of exposure rather than preference.

nah. People get intimate with other people that they don't really like beyond physical attraction all the time. This post is as silly as saying that men that pay for strippers must really like women, because they like them so much they'll pay to be around them and are therefore going to be good partners. In my own experience highly promiscuous men and women are not very pleasant people to be around, they correlate a lot with substance abuse, cheating, high risk behaviors, irresponsible reproduct…

The origin of "nice guys" is often *falsely* attributed to the idea that some men think they're entitled to dating because they are nice/courteous/etc. What it actually meant is "why do so many women date people that treat them like garbage, i should be an upgrade from that because I don't do that"
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 08:21 PM

Not by most women. I hear you its super jarring to run into people that are so toxic that they try to weaponize your good characteristics, but I promise u thats just a section of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/25 11:28 PM

online dating needs a better incentive to get the algos to actually work. Some way for the companies to be compensated when they actually do their damn job of matching up people. I bet a lot of guys (and some ladies) would pay up in the event of a relationship, or even a date.

What are you talking about, Latin America and S America have birthrates dropping at a much faster rate and in some cases like Chile already have birthrates significantly lower than the U.S. Most demographers think that most of S and Central America will have a *lower* birthrate than the US soon. And while compared to Eurotrash, South Americans are more conservative, they are far less conservative than people think. Most people think the immigrants of today are exactly the same as they were in 19…

idk a lot of educated people talk about falling birthrates and the implications for our transfer payments like Social Security. Social Security is garbage compared to Australia's superannuation system (i believe thats what its called, plz correct if wrong). Social Security was designed to shift the burden to current non voters: the future. Well if the future is a lot smaller, we're going to have to do big adjustments to the system. Personally I am not that concerned about lower birthrates. I jus…

Is that really a good example ? Those Daesh abominations would force women to "marry" them. They did horrible things to women in their domain, especially religious and ethnic minorities. Daesh deserves things that reddit would ban me for saying.

sexless men could be a small contribution to massive social upheaval, but it would need to come with other big problems like long term economic problems, or a foreign army kicking the door in and winning. Revolutions often come at the hands of losing battles. End of the 1st and 2nd French Empires (German invasion), the Russian Revolution (German Invasion), the fall of the USSR (Afghanistan), The rise of Communism in China (Japanese invasion). Yeah not every revolution is like this but many promi…

idc what people say. Porn is not a man's friend. If you're a dude reading this, stop using it. It will only warp your mind and get in the way of the real deal.

people can have whatever standards they want, but if no one that meets your standard wants you year after year, its time for reflection. I know plenty of men and women that have the "no one is ever good enough" attitude. IDK if their brains were blasted by adult entertainment or if the high standards are just an excuse to avoid heteronormative assumptions about pair bonding. Anyway IMO its not so fun when you're in your mid 40s still talking about how you wont settle. For some people thats fine …
