In reality, it isn't-- legally, there's no promise of sex in exchange for money.

After less than a month? I wouldn't be at the "take her home to meet the folks" stage by that point.

How TV Court works: TV court shows are designed to look like dramatic trials, with bickering litigants and an often short-tempered judge, but they are actually private arbitration hearings. You can get money if you win your case, but you don't have to pay if you lose. Cases TV courtroom shows find their cases in two ways. All of them solicit volunteers to have their disputes heard on TV. Some, such as "The People's Court," also have researchers look for interesting cases filed in small-claims co…

Okay, how does the fact that it's an analogy change it?

Acts 10:10-15 come to mind: 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” 14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” 15 The voice spoke to him a second…

Actually, a lot of old testament rules/laws were for health reasons. For instance, the provision against eating pork was because, at the time, it was difficult to know whether it had been cooked properly or not. Later on in the Bible (New Testament) the provision is dropped. It's believed it's because cooking technique had progressed to a point where it'd be safe to eat.

I think you responded to the wrong poster. /u/RegretfulEducation didn't use 'you're' or 'your'.

I wouldn't either, but I will call her boobs as such, if they warrant it.

Yes, but the video that goes with the link makes a fair point. How a man responds when a woman acts this way can effect the outcome of the conversation. I never go into the tirade the guy in the video does, but I will acknowledge that I was looking at them, because they're fantastic. (The boobs. Not the woman.) I'm not the best looking guy out there, but self-confidence goes a long way towards changing a woman's attitude about you. EDIT: For clarification about what I meant is fantastic.

I'm sorry, but where in the Bible does it state Christians must receive circumcision?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
