I think celebrities are still a good proxy for what a generation finds attractive. The problem is, there is no singular monoculture in society anymore, so there is no 'generation' really. Everyone follows their own subcultural trends or patterns in America: A 15 year old upper class Indian-American girl from San Jose is going to have very different tastes than a 17-year old Black girl from the Bronx. They may both agree that Harry Styles is cute, but generally you'll see them go after different …

Yes, this is true for the most part. The average Kiwi girl has had 10+ sex partners for example, and considers this unremarkable

Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean was 41; Viggo Mortensen was in his mid 40s during the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and my then-17yr old sister had the hugest crush on both of them (ironically she married a man younger than her), I'm sure millions of other teenage girls did too

You're assuming you're average; I can promise you, your pathetic life isn't anywhere near what most people experience.

I mean, you should though. Why would you want to dress like trash? The fact you even question such a tautologically sound axiom as 'I should wear nice clothes to appear nice' shows why you're going to die alone honestly

Abortion is murder, not a benefit. To think of it in such a way is wrong (though we may try to justify it as an ostensible inexorable necessity).

He left his younger, (ostensibly) more physically attractive model wife for an older woman in her 40s because he just liked her more. He truly follows the beat of his own drum

This is literally true for all women (except the last racial part which is kinda weird), lol

Well, at least this shows that TRP stereotype that leftist men are all betas or incels is false. All school leftists were the biggest slayers. Leftist philosophers whether Che Guevara or Foucault or Gramsci back in his day always seemed to be really good at attracting the affections of young beautiful women. Must be the idealism I don't know about the newest crop though, younger leftists seem cringey. Hugo Schwyzer did really well for himself until he apologised for it for some reason, sunk his …

are you sure ?? I feel like the most bitter and unhappy population of the sub are the religious people who are very upset that religion isn't followed by the masses. Lol this sounds like something an atheist would say, I don't know of anyone of a particular faith who just cares that "religion" is followed by "the masses" im very atheist, i was raised as one and i questioned it in my teens, was super interested but i never felt any genuine belief in a flawed evil higher being + i kinda believe in…

Zizek is absolutely loaded. He's a pop philosopher who writes books and gets paid large amounts of money to lecture Relatively speaking, he isn't that loaded. He still lives in a government-funded apartment and doesn't do anything to improve his own material standards. I can't help but feel women like him for his incalcitrant, 'fuck you' attitude.

All Slavic languages only separated in the 9th century. There is very little difference between the languages, with the most separation occurring between Polish and Russian; nonetheless, all Slavic languages have the same basic linguistic characteristics (declension, lack of articles, etc.)

Him cheating is woman's and only woman's fault. Your idiosyncratic pseudo-dialect wouldn't be so insulting if I wasn't raised in a Russian speaking household and I knew that, though we don't have articles, we still inflect for the proper case to reflect context of the word (i.e, Russians know how linguistic articles work)

They don't seem ugly, they just seem like they are upset with the fact that they no longer have attractive (to their standard anyway) men throwing themselves at them and they may have to settle with Mr Average. I don't doubt for a moment that almost all of these women could land a man, it just won't be one they want in particular. On the contrary, I feel like a lot of men in this thread seem to be bitter about being unattractive in their younger years and are living out a lame revenge fantasy th…

Do you realise how many women chased him nonetheless? It doesn't matter that he was gay, he was still highly desirable despite being old and not starting out as wealthy (he built his 'factory' long before he was rich)

Charles Manson died married to a girl he met in her teens and his most valuable possession was a busted tv set; Slavoj Zizek is a university professor.; We all know a man who is irresistably attractive to women despite his looks or pecuniary status, but simply because of his drive or charisma (but just in case you don't, here is an interesting case). You tell me.

What money did Manson have, or Zizek have (relatively speaking)? Most university professors or artists aren't wealthy and they seem to be doing far better than even businessmen if I'm being honest. I feel like saying that it is all wealth is a copout, since many charismatic people who have little money still seem to do well, while many people with money who aren't charismatic seem to do rather poorly

Let's be honest: If you're a man, you're only valued insofar as you can perform and if you can't, well tough shit: i.e, Sink or Swim.

Strongly disagree. Most radfems IMO are usually waifishly submissive and their 'man-hating' isn't inexorable. They see the queues being sent out by the media, told 'You must be this to be Womyn' and they submissively obey. Compare to 'Tradwives': Despite the feminine appearance, they are usually into femdom and cuckoldry (esp. in military scenarios), they are usually very assertive, and have strong opinions on things regarding family and not that are often independently formented in the agitatio…

I'm not sure age is even relevant at all for men. I think what it is for most is that they have a relative grace period where they are considered adequately attractive due to the hormonal changes of youth, so I'd argue that being attractive for a man isn't predicated on age since the most handsome will be doing whatever they want at any age (Women don't have this advantage: See, Nicki Minaj, Madonna)

Men are born at The Wall. I never had a problem getting a girlfriend, and even when I was 17 and weighed close to 18 stone (footy injury) I still had both girls and adults lusting after me. However, the difference in attention is pretty much night and day, now I have more than I can choose from, and women my own age don't interest me at all so I would normally keep them as a backup in case my current relationship sours (I don't do that anymore, I just pray and work for the best)

If a woman tells me 'no' and then I accept her refusal with a deadpan expression and change the subject without missing a beat, she almost always starts trying to push the subject herself (and if she doesn't--which honestly never has happened--I just move on. Can't catch every fish). But that is if she tells me 'no'. I met my current gf (19) by playing hard to get, and she comes from a culture where all girls are expected to be virgins until marriage

1.) Who is complaining that women don't wanna bang? Not me 2.) You were born in 1990, I doubt too many people are complaining in your direction anymore You think women doing these things are remotely attracted to the swamp arse basement dwellers paying them? 3.) No...No one thinks that
