---Update--- Thank you to everyone involved in promoting, watching and donating to todays event. You raised £3,129.91 with Gift Aid for ManKind Initiative. We heard from male abuse survivors, academics and Mark Brooks, the chairman of this very important charity. Kate and I had a great time, we laughed, cried and were in awe of the amazing people we've met today.

I think that may possibly have been the reason. I didn't hear anything from the mods there and as I'm not a subscriber there I don't blame them for holding it back to check first. I'm trying not to be spammy with it.

Pre-nuptial agreements can be thrown out and they have the same weight. This won't last 5 mins in a family court if she or the state decides that you are liable.

The petition is going to get thrown out of court the moment she changes her mind. The court will rule in her favour citing that "Child support is the right of the child and the mother cannot legally waive those rights" Judgment in her favour, ergo you are completely fucked.

So what? Dads get shat on constantly, especially dads who don't live with their kids. This shows the positive side of being an estranged father. Who gives a fuck that it's not targeted specifically at mras? It's nice to see something like this once in a while.

And I disputed what you said, you have presented nothing at all to show that changing the gender of a popular character in comic books is affecting the rights of men and boys. Nothing. Not one damn thing. You have shown nothing that demonstrates harm to men and boys. You merely stated your opinion about the change and presented it as fact, which it is not. I'm a big dog, I know how to handle a bone. If you would like to make witty little plays on my username, are you more than just an ideologica…

No one is being hurt by this, no one is being oppressed by this or denied anything at all. It is not a rights issue at all, it is the same as feminists getting butthurt about some petty crap. If you can't see that you're just as bad as them.

This kind of equivalency is the same kind of shit that feminists pull about petty bollocks. No one is being hurt by this, no one is being oppressed or denied anything by this. Your supposition about "why" this change is being made is nothing but speculation, essentially shit made up off the top of your head.

Rubbish, comics and video games are not exclusive for men and boys and never have been. They are not a space carved out for men and boys alone. Yes true we see people latching on and trying to change popular media to fit with their ideology, but this is not the reason for the change with Thor, not at all. In the comic Mythology (as mentioned by She-Hulk) there are and have been many Thors. This new female Thor is a first yes, but to say it is because of Feminism is a fucking stretch. Your explan…

In another job I started an internship department specifically focussing on male students getting access to real life work experience to prevent drop out, gain opportunities and enhance ability to get into college. I would argue here that it is not going to have much impact when there is more financial assistance available for females than males when it comes to paying for a college education.

See a lawyer as soon as possible. This is not a property issue though, clearly from what you say here this is about the family and maintaining a relationship with your children. I think the main issue that you will possibly face is the fact that she is expecting another child, this is going to skew the separation and the divorce proceedings very much in her favour when it comes to the property itself. Charities that target "minority" groups receive access to a number of different funding streams to maintain their work that other charitable organisations do not. This has lead to many charities dropping wider ranging work to focus on those areas which receive the most government support i.e. targeting women or ethnic minorities, regardless of whether the problem they are tackling disproportianatly affects people who are not classed as such. If you want to stop feeling like this, and this is a common occurrence wherein she physically or even mentally attacks you, you need to leave. No one has the right to lay hands on you, NO ONE. Especially not your partner. You then need to make a formal complaint about the officers who attended, take it as far as you can. You were the victim of violence and they cuffed you. That is not on. This petition misses one vital point and that is forced envelopment as part of the definition. It's all fine and good to drop the male pronoun however in UK law the male pronoun is used as a descriptor in law definition of person. It does not mean the law only targets one gender. Pretty much a waste of a petition.

When my partner became pregnant with our child she was desperately hoping for a little girl. She would talk at length about how much she disliked boys and how she "didn't understand them". She even said on a few occasions that if she found out she was having a boy she would consider aborting. As a father with full custody of my 12 year old son I was needless to say dismayed by this, however if I am honest with myself I would have felt a modicum of relief if she had chosen to terminate as I was u…

I really do hope this is just a case of shoddy editorialising, however why is it the father's responsibility to sign? Why not both parents? Or the Mother? I know the Father was in the court for the trial and sentencing, but why is it the male parent who has to be the one to co-sign? Sure shoddy journalism may have got my back up but there is still an issue here that should be addressed.

Okay I know it's a link from the Dail Fail but check out the sentence handed down by the judge. Both the boy AND his father have to sign the sex offenders register for 2 and a half years. Now I can see why the kid should, and frankly returning him to the family home is a bad idea in my opinion, this is his punishment for raping his little sister (tbh I think he should have served some time or been sent for treatment as well as signing that register for at least 10 years), but why the fuck should…

In the UK a mother can name a father on the birth certificate without the man's permission. This would make you responsible for the child regardless of your feelings or intentions. IF you are certain the child is yours to the point of precluding a DNA test then if she chooses to have the baby there is sweet fanny Adams you can do about it. Also, child support cannot be collected from unemployment benefits.

It's such a difference seeing the condemnation of this father for killing his son before killing himself. Of course this condemnation is absolutely correct and proper. It's a stark contrast to the responses of women when a mother kills herself and her child. We always see those saying "oh poor woman, what could have driven her to this, why did no one help her?" It just shows who is the more moral. Clearly the ones who condemn the murder of a child. Faith in humanity restored

You are completely wrong. The TV license only covers live broadcast it does not cover catch up services or YouTube clips. If you used to work for TV licensing you are clearly one of the misinformed shills who worked for capita. The law clearly states that the license only applies to the receipt of live broadcast transmissions. There have been multiple news stories including on the BBC itself about how iPlayer does not require a license unless you are watching the live stream.

I'm currently in a long term relationship with a Czech woman. I met her a couple of years after my divorce to a British woman and the differences are amazing: 1: work ethic - she has one, my ex-wife looked for any excuse not to work whilst my current partner is willing to take any job she can get and give it 100% 2: financial independence - within months of being together my ex-wife demanded a joint bank account and that I pay whenever we went anywhere. Personally I think the responses in the comments of that post speak volumes on the attitudes men face when bringing up issues in relationships. The immediate responses from the commenters was to make up hypothetical excuses for the OP's wife, instead of providing something truly constructive to the OP on how to address the problem he was articulating.
