I am too. While I rarely see FDS itself, I see a lot of posts on my feed about women complaining about women acting like Pick-Mes or telling other women not to act that way. It's a good thing.

And the "supermodel" is part of it. Men grade men on a curve. A man who's a "10" is maybe in the top 25% of men. A woman who's a 10 has to be a 22 year old supermodel with an astrophysics background, who is also a gourmet chef, speaks 4 languages, is the daughter of a multi-millionaire, *and* is happy to drop everything at a moment's notice to "chill". (Which, of course is an impossibility. A 22 year old astrophysicist supermodel is waaaaay too busy to drop everything to chill ever.)

I'm a terrible person. I think if he said, "It's your house" I'd say, "Then you should be grateful to get to live in it rent free and do your chores without being asked."

I still loved how male birth control hasn't been approved becuase...men can't handle the same side effects that women are expected to endure all the freaking time. (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2016/11/01/male-birth-control-study-nixed-after-men-cant-handle-side-effects-women-face-daily/93088124/) Get snipped or wear a condom. (And honestly, unless both have been tested + it's a long term monogamous relationship, WEAR A CONDOM.)

Isn't it nice when terrible men make it obvious immediately how awful they are?

I fully expect to be in a home, too, when I'm elderly. I'm just hoping I'm wealthy enough to afford one of the nicer ones. (Some of the better ones actually seem pretty cool - they have daily field trips, classes, board games, nice apartments, etc. The one my grandparents were considering before they both (very quickly) died even had university lectures most nights. I don't see it as that terrible to spend my last years with a bunch of my buddies playing board games every night while having my m…

Yep, I've avoided so many men on OLD who just want to "see where things go" or "aren't up for a committment". Why bother? "Just want to see where things go" invariably means that what he wants is a therapist/bang maid rather than a partner. I don't see any value for *me* in playing therapist/bang maid, so...why bother? If I'm going to play therapist, I at least want my $150/hour.

Yep. He just was like, "I don't see why it's such a big deal. It's just a lump." Yeah, a lump that required two emergency biopsies (fortunately the second was benign). But, yeah, no checking in on me after. No bringing me ice packs or snacks or trying to distract me while I waited for the results or any of that. But then whenever he needed support, it was all WOAH IS ME. So glad that he's an ex. *eye roll* And I'm not making that mistake again. The first time a dude refuses to support me, he's a…

Yep, LV ex did the same BS to me. I told him that I had a lump in my breast (with two aunts who have died of breast cancer) and he blew it off. Didn't go with me to the appointment. Didn't call me to check on how I was. When I later broke up with him, I mentioned that. (He was doing a whole "WHY AREN'T YOU SUPPORTING ME, WAAAAH!" and I think I mentioned that he'd never bothered supporting *me*.) Amazing how men expect us to support them through everything, yet won't even do the bare minimum when…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
