Great advice in the comments. Here’s my two cents: - Stay calm. If you don’t meditate, get into the practice. Even 10 minutes per day will make an unimaginable difference. - Make a playlist. Nothing loud or dramatic. But romantic and sensual instrumental music. Even YouTube has hours of music that gets you into a passionate mood. (Search something like Kama Sutra music, & you will start to see many options) - Ask her what makes her feel safe and alive. Do more of that. - masturbate a day or two …

Brother, perhaps the “nice guy” in you doesn’t want to hurt her. And this may lead to you becoming her on-demand therapist and coach. Over time, it will demean your self-image. It’s time to peacefully end this dynamic. Hold loving space for your two kids. And build YOU. Meditate, yoga, workout, creative activity. Go all in.

I’m an introvert, not much social. I moved to a different state after my separation. I’m still trying to find my people but it’s not been easy. However, I am finding so much solitude in my own company. Cooking, reading, and focusing on work has been a blessing. I recently joined yoga studio. Never did yoga before. It felt awkward at first. But really enjoying being there and seeing familiar faces every week. The girls are beautiful in my studio, and one of these days, I’ll say hello to them. :) …
