Men are honest about what we want. Also we dont usually want the crazy women to marry and love forever if you know what I mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/25 11:40 PM

Other mens' advice has been way more useful than womens advice. The actuall good advice i've gotten from women has been from close female friends who are completely honest with me, told in confidence and is the type of advice women would hate or say is sexist. That's been my experience, dont know if is the same for all men.

Women can go by no reading the bios and still get matches. Gets is irrelevant to your original thrad, just pointing out how much easy women have it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 02:29 PM

All of womens bios in dating apps are the same. You're not as interesting as you think.

Best explanation in here. Basically women want men that are a mix of traditonal things exactly where they want them and progressive things exactly when they want them, while they can act as traditional women when they want, and act as progressive women when they want. That's not how it works, It's a weird combination.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 02:19 PM

No, never said one gender is smarter. Which I think is part of why people act offended. And not getting in my feelings, the overwhelming amount of evidence is there, and we're agreeing in almost everything except that you somehow think "those differences dont make a big difference" which is kinda subjective and no way to argue for/against that in a objective way.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/25 10:21 PM

Sure, there are tiny differences in certain tasks, like spatial reasoning or verbal fluency, Yes that's my point, just that is not as 'tiny' as you think nor as big as most men think, but they're there. There's a bunch of sources here and in google aswell. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7331091/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_differences_in_intelligence It's a controversial issue nowaday because you have to accept men and women have inherently different brains... which makes a lot o…

We absolutely are. Here's the thing tho: Doesn't mean we aren't completely emotionless and doesn't mean women are completely emotional. It's the hyperbolic mentality a huge part of most of society's problems nowadays It is also true if you want to get better at attracting women you have to learn to be more emotional.

From my attractive womanizer male friend's experiences (I only listen lol): Yes. They do know. That's why the "I'm gonna leave my wife for you" phrase it's a meme, cause it's really common. The thing is, usually women don't say it out loud because they know it's wrong.

You stop being a relationship option, not a "sex" option.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/25 08:14 PM

womenflation. Those women want a man that is not the same, but is above them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/25 08:11 PM

Basically lol. Dude probably wants a really attractive girlfriend, he has 1% probability of getting her unless he looks/has the networth of Henry Cavill. Those women are taken.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/25 04:33 PM

Yeah, too much pressure, and that school probably was afraid of the social backslash. I see your point. Thankfully that's slowly chaning and to tell you the truth, I've been researching and I just googled men's mental health in google news and I got a bunch of events happening including a woman doing yoga classes and donating the revenue to a men's charity. Honestly it was a suprise, a welcome one for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/25 06:02 PM

I see the problem, you're thinking MRA is one specific group that encompasses every men's movement under the sun. I'm talking about some MRA groups that have been categorized as "being part of a hate ideology under the umbrella of male supremacy" by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Two very different things, the ones you see online are mostly the second one.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/25 05:53 PM

If a man was driven enough to make a campaign in favour of men’s wellbeing, of course his female colleagues would help out. Doubftul, specially since events focused on this are generally shutdown by society https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/red-alert-politics/2195937/despite-male-suicide-school-cancels-mens-health-day-after-feminists-complain/

Extremist groups in any ideology have not done any good in society indeed.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 04:22 PM
14

lol, same answer as always. I'd guess most of those things need strong social support, and they would be difficult to do on your own. Just as men have helped with things like legalizing abortion, we also need a lot of women's help to get most of these things done. Sadly, it won't happen because most women's reply is always, "Do it yourself."
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/25 04:19 AM

Cause women have sex appeal by default, so the brains kinda shuts it down. This is also why a womanizer man is admired but a woman who has slept around is not. It's literally the easiest thing in life for women, while for men is something that takes HUGE amounts of effort. (Unless you're the top 1%)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/25 03:57 AM
10

If you're attractive enough (if you're of the top 10% of men) most women will sleep with you regardles of your beliefs. The very small portion of women that would not be interested in you, aren't super attractive either so, most men aren't pretending, no need to pretend and not worth it. MAYBE if you live in a super liberal area but even then, it's just the minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/25 03:51 AM
1

Of course we do. We don't have any issues admiting that. Would women admit that their rules don't apply if the guy is extremely physically attractive and things like personality don't matter at that level?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 07:05 PM

In addition to what everybody here has said, I'd never volunteer to be a 'Big brother'. I'm sure society would not look good at me for hanging around underage kids. Also, this is frowned upon, but women are natural cargivers, that's biology. Look for organizations focused on different things like building something and I'm sure numbers will be different. I used to volunteer at the red cross and it was almost evenly men/women although different things.

I've always believed it's because a lot of men with "baggage" kill themselves when they're younger, so older men tend to be more resilient.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 07:00 PM

I know, most people don't see it/ignore it. Which only makes the problem bigger.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/25 03:54 AM

Which I believe is part of the cause of the poor mental health issues we have nowadays. You shouldn't apologize for what a group of people do, you should apologize for WHAT YOU DO.

You're right that's dumb. Just as "being genuinely nice man will make you more attractive to women". Thing is, one idea is accepted as true, the other not. You're right but you didn't understand OP's point I guess. Being nice/good has nothing to do with your success with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/25 05:35 PM

Masculine traits, like assertiveness, confidence, and dominance, are overwhelmingly rewarded by women in dating I believe what you're doing is called "cherry-picking"

Lol, how's that meme "women taking accountability challenge". If you don't want people to look at you, don't wear skimpy clothes. That's how it is. Is it fair? Fuck no, welcome to the real world. You're free to complain as much as you want and try to do anything about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/25 05:05 AM

Most men won't think is "woke" if you label it as men's issues. But good luck with that.

Great, so, what should society do to help those men? It's obvious we have a men's mental health crisis. What would you recommend from a political/social point of view?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 09:24 PM
19

Oh absolutely, but is one of those things women really have a hard time understanding. Like how most of my male friends who are succesful at dating tend to be the most cheating, aggresive, and kinda douchebag-type people.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 09:22 PM
1

I completely agree, but for that to work out you have to accept women usually select the dangerous/bad man and being an agressive men usually makes you more attractive to women. Which is usually the part women have a hard time accepting.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 05:07 AM

Nah, most people regardles of sex or gender are happier in relationships. Women are just better at tolerating being alone than men are.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 05:00 AM

No, nobody should pressure men to take steroids. However, yes, check your TRT levels please, it has gone down and recent studies have found out that testosterone is actually more helpful in men than damaging.

1

I mean yes... you should date people with similar lifestyle to yours....
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/25 10:25 PM

Most people I know are unattractive. If I have to be more specific by gender I'd say... 40% of men are attractive, and 50% of women are attractive. That extra 10% is why so many people think "women tend to be more attractive than men"
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/25 10:20 PM
1

That's how attractiveness works but some people have issues understanding: it's kinda subjective, but only once you pass an objective threshold.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/25 06:14 PM

Congrats on being good looking! I'm sure now you'll believe is your personality and sense of humor the reason you're successful! saw it a few times with my late bloomer friends back in college.

By the way yo wrote that, I feel like you're actually a women posing as a man. But if you're not (doubt it), you're probably not average Yes, if youre less than average you don't get approached by women. Shouldn't be difficult to understand if you are a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/25 03:50 AM
5

On the other hand, I remember when I was in my mid-20s and worked in a office of like 100 other mid-20s people and I never got any kind of attention from women. I get it works for like 90% of the people, but the other 10% that are just plaing ugly and boring just makes you feel more loneliner and depressed. I don't miss it at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 03:09 PM

Welcome to approaching women as man lol. Odds are not good.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 07:20 PM

It was at a party, she was drunk as fuck, just approached my friend and started to talk, eventually leading to the BJ question. Another time, different party, different girl was hugging my friend and just being touchy and playful, then suddenly she leaves kinda annoyed so I asked my friend what happen, apparently she wanted to fuck him in the bathrom but he thought it was disgusting. We were in college so 18-22? However I kept in touch with that friend and his stories with women were similar for a while until we were like 28-29 when he moved to another city and sadly we don't talk that much anymore, the stories probably slowed down a little bit due to age, but he's always going to have girls lusting for him, no question about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 12:11 AM

Of course. Difference is, as always, we are honest about it. Most women will still believe is "personality and sense of humor the most important thing".
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 12:34 AM
3

Oh man, how do we tell OP? You're probably unatractive. Women lust over (good-looking) men all the time. Source: one of my close friend from college was super-model level and I saw women begging to giving him oral sex. It was eye-opening for my 18 yo ugly ass self.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 12:31 AM

All the other comments already said it, its just not "disinterest" lol. A lot of people (more women than men) still have this "women are wonderful" belief lmao. We live in an age where is easier than ever to see how much a lie that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 12:28 AM

It would be an absolutely terrible world to live on. Just saw a video in /r/JustGuysBeingDudes of a girl having an accident in the gym and the men next to her didn't even flinch to help her.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 08:51 PM

That's the exact opposite what guys online say. Those women would go for the 1% of men, those men have a ocean of women wanting to sleep with them so they never settle. Those women are absolutely getting cheated on by the same 1% top men.

Men's mental health is become more widely accepted. When do you think women should 'start to care'?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 06:41 PM

It comes down as usual, to men being thirsty af and not having self-respect and self-love. Shocking.

I once was ghosted by a woman who a year later I learned she was a single mother lol. Other time I dated a girl who gave me a chance, nothing awful happened we just grew apart and last thing I heard she's happily dating other man. Most guys don't realize women who have the emotional intelligence to ghost you are NOT the type of women who you'd want in your life. I'm 100% up for those types of women ghosting men, they're doing men a favor, most men are just desperate to realize.

No, as long as she's hot that's fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/25 04:33 PM

I've never seen that, but if that helps people feel more confortable, I'm sure that's a reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 04:32 PM

Have you seen Joey Swoll's account? People act very narcisistic when recording themselves. I applaud it honestly. There's only two regulars doing it constantly at my gym: a woman and a man and they're both super nice and polite, so people don't mind BUT to be fair, is not like you'll get kicked out if you do it, other gym goers just give you some small looks of disproval but that's enough for most people stop doing it, but if you're polite you won't have a negative experience doing it ha.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 09:48 PM
3

Yeah it sucks no more all-women gyms are available, as a man I have no issues with them (I don't think any normal person have issues with that), whatever makes people confortable getting fit is OK in my book. My coed gym has security cameras all around and you can't use your phone to record yourself (thank god), some folks still do it but everybody know who they are, and they are usually just your nice regulars who are not disrespectful so whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 07:42 PM
1

You can try all-women gyms! there's one near mine but my gym still gets a lot of women cause the enviroment is really welcoming for everybody. I already said in another comment I'm not american so culturally speaking, from what I've seen in some videos sounds it may suck in your country for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 07:39 PM
4

You should tell those women to try all-women gyms if they want to avoid men. Like I said in other comment, there's an all-women gym near mine and most women still choose mine. Although I'm not american, judging from the stories I've read online, don't know how bad it is over there. Culture plays a big role.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 06:48 PM
2

Don't know what you're getting at, but my 2 most successful friends that have no issues with women do listen to Tate and similar content, but they're not vocal about it. Also we're not american so they can't vote for trump but they're right wing.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 06:28 PM
2

As long as you treat your partner like a king, that's ok. I think what men talk about when talking about women wanting princess treatmen is that a lot of women hope for their partner to take care of them financially and basically all other aspects of their life, without giving much in return. That's a different demography to what you are. But yeah, a good healthy relationship has both sides treating their partner as special and offer to do things for eachother all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 06:22 PM
1

You're not entitled to have "princess treatment".
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 06:18 PM

I grew up with a lot of women. I just think generally women tend to be more morning people than men lol. I always wake up a little bit grumpy.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 05:27 PM
2

There’s also an all-women’s gym just a few minutes from mine. Women could choose to go there (and I’m sure some do!), but many still choose my gym because it’s actually nice, and so are the people. In general, most gyms I’ve visited have been welcoming, unlike the negative impression people who don’t go to the gym might get from videos online. I honestly think it’s mostly because women often have different types of jobs and schedules than men, which makes it easier for them to go in the mornings…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 05:24 PM

I'm a man and is the same. Men are lifting weights, women are taking cardio classes. I'd say however, the reason why OP think that women don't work out as much as men is probaby because of the time he works out. I've been lifting since covid and I've noticed a lot of women usually don't work out on weekends or even friday evenings; Also if you go from 8-11am you usually find more women than men, but if you go 5-9PM is more men than women. I think women tend to put social life above working out.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 05:19 AM
4

I mean yeah, that sounds like the average college experience for my good looking male friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 10:28 PM
1

It doesn't mean that men from other demographics are always approaching either. The graphs in the study actually break it down by age, and across all demographics, there are men who choose not to approach. That number has been increasing over the past few years, with the rise being especially notable among Gen Z. So yeah, it's not 9% either, since you're being all technical. But granted is not 45% of all men. Just 45% of the current demography with the most amount of single men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 10:16 PM
2

Most of the times when asked a woman what does she think of men's issues it boils down to: don't care or just-world fallacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 07:55 PM
5

https://datepsychology.com/risk-aversion-and-dating/ The study is with gen-z men. That "9 billion people" argument doesn't make any sense at all. Most of the people who are born today were born decades ago. Most millenials still aproach women, although that's probably where the numbers started to go down. Gen-X never had this issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 07:53 PM

Another comment already mentioned it but basically, they're no going to be asking you or saying it directly you innocent child "people can read the room and make assumptions", and most likely than not, a succesful, attractive man than most women find attractvie = a good amount of sexual partners. While unattractive, awkward, ugly = not sexually succesful.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 11:30 PM

A lot of men that are doing cold approaches aren't looking for relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 08:14 PM
3

Yes, because, in general, men have a much higher sexual libido than women. This is an irrefutable fact—many men want to have sex the majority of the time, while women typically want it far less often.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 08:13 PM
2

If you didn't find it funny, that's my bad. However, I do believe those are in fact normal things everybody should do to protect themselves, that wasn't a joke. And that's why I also understand why women nowadays are choosing not to have kids and I agree if that's your choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 05:55 PM
0

I was just making a sarcastic joke about how a lot of women act "logical" only when it’s convenient. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with that—just as there’s nothing wrong with a man asking for a DNA test for a newborn baby. These are normal things EVERYBODY should do to protect themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 05:51 PM
-1

Why would you think you'll divorce? If that's the case don't get married or don't have kids if you're thinking "what if I'll divorce". Watch what happens to a woman's mind if a man mentions he's planing what to do if they divorce/breakup to his wife/girlfriend. edit: /s

Just another tactic to try to get the dating apps up and living again. IIRC gen-z and younger hates them and don't use them as much as millenials did a decade ago.

Nothing wrong with being celibate. Problem is A LOT OF PEOPLE both women and men validate masculinity based on men's sexual history
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 05:07 PM

Yes, you'd be in the minority, I believe society should help the minorities* * only the approved minorities or you can get into troubles.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 04:25 PM

No, there's plenty things society can do: social programms, politics, healthcare, etc..
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 04:23 PM

I can almost guarantee you if society didn't automatically asummed "you're unattractive to women cause you're a bad person", plenty of men would take a lot of weight off their backs, mentally speaking. Plenty of men struggle without being shitty men, I'd argue shitty men have no issues finding women willing to date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 04:21 PM

Fair enough, thanks for your opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 03:36 PM

when men are literally doing the same thing to women constantly. Few women behave badly -> All women are to blame I think people never realize this. I still remember my grandmother (born in 1940) and aunts (born in 1960-1970) claiming how "all men are pigs/just want sex"; these generalizations are nothing new and do not come from one gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 03:23 PM

and the abusers, murderers of women, etc?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 03:20 PM

Casey Anthony got proposals from men too. If more women were in prison, men would be writing them, no question. Yeah cause she was physically attractive. Men are honest about that sort of thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 03:18 PM

I would they're shamed because the last thing a woman wants is to hear explicitly that men don't want them because they're overweight. It's a sensitive topic and likely to provoke defensiveness. Yes, basically.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 07:41 PM
3

It worked for you and that's fine. My take is kinda in the middle: Sure, work a few years on improving yourself and put yourself out there, and if it doesn't work, then just go your own way. I believe some poeple are just never going to find a significant other and that's fine, they should focus on other things in their life.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 07:33 PM
2

I mean to say, men are shamed, made fun of, and called names just because they don't want fat women. That’s probably the only thing a lot of men ask for in a woman
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 07:30 PM
7

No really, is that the standards are frowned upon in society. Literally not being fat is legit the only standard for plenty men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 05:34 PM
0

Dunno. It's a cultural thing, hard to explain but I'talked with other people from my country (Mexico) and we all agree. It's not a bad thing and is definitely better than the horror stories I've heard from red states, but it's just doesn't feel genuine. Guess for us just saying something nice doesn't have that much weight compared to doing something for the person.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/25 05:33 PM

I can definitely see it as an "some places" thing. I've been to the US a few times before around the south california area and this is common. It also feels Inauthentic and superficial AF, but I'd argue most californians there don't see it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/25 12:05 AM
7

I can definitely see it as a thing for both genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/25 12:01 AM
88

Because I don't want to have kids ever in my life. You're also never going to be the priority in that relationship. I'd argue single moms should date single dads, that way they have something huge in common that could actually improve their relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 06:10 PM
7

Funny thing they're basically the same, a small portion of men getting all the attention i.e. "there was only 1 guy she was mildly interested" Dating apps are a very faithful reflection of dating dynamics, people just don't like to admit it. If you're a man, stay the FUCK away from dating events, unless you're a top 10% then you're golden, enjoy your constant wave of women willing to sleep with you. Dating was already easy for you before that event anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 05:41 PM
3

I'm sure plenty of women are perfectly fine with men not paying attention to them on the street. As an introverted man, I imagine that kind of attention would be annoying as hell, so I empathize. It has never occurred to me to give unsolicited "compliments" to strangers in public, regardless of gender. Honestly, you're trying way too hard to make this an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 05:34 PM
9

Actual dating. It is that bad, women would never understand that (Just like men don't get women' struggles, the difference is, women's struggle are accepted by society)
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 10:41 PM

Because they’re the easiest and most cost-effective way to analyze dating dynamics. Avoiding dating apps as a research focus is a weak excuse. I guarantee that if someone studied men approaching women in bars or clubs, the results would be similar: most men would face frequent rejection, while a small fraction would have no trouble finding women who would be willing to date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 10:36 PM

Damn, that's some excellent mental gymnastics.

They don't. But also when a women say they "know how to choose men" I also know they are lying, because as you said it, there's no way to really know a person, so "be genuinely nice" as an advice to men for finding women to date is as useful as a bike for a fish. At best "fake being nice" is a better (inmoral) advice, of course he also needs to be good looking for it to work. I love how a lot of times women here understand how things work but in indirect ways, still struggle to see it.

Ah yes, because observing patterns in behavior = "hive mind" Since when does paying attention to reality mean women are a monolith? Or are we just pretending nuance doesn’t exist now to win a gotcha? But hey, if "watch what people do, not just what they say" is a controversial take, maybe I did make your week. 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 10:12 PM

lmao. Nope, it means I observe their behaviour. It simply means I pay attention to how women react when I say/do something or watch the type of men they sleep (by proximity, I wento to a big college of like 10K students, everybody knew the gossips)😂 You really made my day.

I don't. I already said in another thread, you watch what woman do, do not listen to what they say. It's one of the best advices I've heard in my life when it comes to relationships. The times I've heard women trying to give advice is because they want to, and it's always simplistic/poor/not really useful simply because women don't go through the level of loneliness/rejection what men go through. That's why I also shut up when a woman talk about their issues.

extremely different. I still remember when I was in college there was this dude who had a lot of social skills issues but he was calm, quiet and polite, even though his social skills weren't the best, people always claim he was polite and overall everybody like him, there were some stories of him asking girls out but they never accepted, all the women would say he was so nice and would make a women lucky some day. Best tip I've ever heard was, when it comes to relationships, not to listen to what women say, rather watch how they react. Most of the times what they say tend to have a "feel-good" vibe that comes from how they feel rather than reality. That is not a bad thing, that's why generally women are better parents than men and are better at giving moral support. But you have to understand how it works and when to listen.

I know, we're both talking about generalizations I guess, better research who commit more feminicide and violence against women and see what % are virgen incels and what % are husbands and boyfriends. That way we can talk hard data and leave feelings aside.

Hey if that's how you rationalize it. To me my college budy who cheated, lied and manipulated every girlfriend he hever had it's way worse than the guy who spends his nights in 4chan but hey, different morals I guess.

Your "luxury vs. desperation" framing actually supports my original argument: women want relationships (even if they're selective), which contradicts the narrative that they’re universally happier single. Abundance of options ≠ disinterest. Antidepressants: You're conflating two truths: Marriage can benefit women’s mental health when the relationship is good. Women are more likely to leave bad marriages because they have better social/financial safety nets than men. This doesn’t prove marriage i…

Let me break this down because there's some serious conflation happening here: Dating:Nobody said women swipe out of misery. Your "full from dinner but want dessert" analogy actually proves my point: dessert is still a want. Women are selective because they value relationships, not because they don't want them. tnidepressants: Yes, women seek help more, but that doesn't erase the data, unmarried women are more likely to be depressed than married women and yes unmarried men die earlier and are mor…

Sure, let’s break it down further: Dating apps: Women being picky doesn’t negate the fact that they’re actively seeking relationships. If they were truly content single, they wouldn’t be swiping at all, the "picky" argument just reinforces that women do want relationships: they’re just selective about them (which is fair). Antidepressants: You’re right that menopause and underreported male mental health play roles, but you’re ignoring the broader trend: unmarried women report higher depression r…

Both men and women crave relationships and love. Not having a relationship, for most people, will lead to an unfulfilled life. A lot of people have develop a coping mechanism of "not needing a relationship". That's it. No need to go into a "gender war" in this issue.

they're mean/bad/shitty to other men, but not to women. I've been expanding on that idea, but the more I analize I realize a lot of the most attractive/sexually successful men behave different with women than with men and that's the reason why men and women believe women find attractive different behaviours.

You don't "choose to turn to a same-sex relationship" that's not how sexuallity works, unless you're bisexual or gay. Those people were probably bisexuals all along, but are now living in a society that accepts that and they can be more open.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 09:55 PM

Oh yeah... if you make a big life decision before 25 (which is when the brain stops developing) it can happen. I guess I was just thinking in my age bracket (30s). Age it's definitely a big footnote to take into consideration. But generally I don't think people should marry/have children before 25.

It's fairly easy, if you're unattractive you're invisible to women, so just I don't talk to them unless is necesary, I just do whatever im going to do lol. What did you expected us to do? I’m not judging people who enjoy casual relationships, you do you. But for my own long-term partnership, I’ve found I’m most compatible with someone who sees sex as something that grows with emotional commitment. This isn’t about morality, it’s about shared values. You’re describing bad dating experiences, not disproving my point. The issue isn’t that "no normal men act poorly", its that women blame men’s dating struggles on moral flaws ("you’re single because you’re shallow/desperate") while ignoring the role of attraction and options. The virgin you dated still got a chance because he passed some baseline of appeal (looks, charm, etc...) meanwhile, men who lack that but want the same things (sex, love, connection), get labeled as "creeps" or "thirsty" fo…

You’re missing my point. The men women complain about (non-committal, sex-focused) are usually the attractive ones with options. The men who can’t get dates aren’t necessarily worse people—they’re just less desired, women often rationalize this by saying, ‘You’re single because you’re shallow/selfish/pervy,’ when in reality, those same ‘flaws’ are overlooked in men who are hotter. Those men are the attractive ones who tend to use women for their sexual needs because they have a pletora of options. /r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 05:45 PM

I mean... yes? We men don't have issues accepting that, we're pretty straightforward about what makes women attractive to us... "don't be overweight, take care of your body", we are aware how important physicial appereance is. If a woman is crazy but hot plenty of men would accept that, we don't pretend personality is the most important to get a relationship. That's not the case with women at least in average.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 05:16 PM

Yeah, you'd think that. But it's more complicated than that. I guess would be fair to say a small percentage of people are the ones aware of that, most people are highly emotional when talking about these issues.

That's true, nothing you say really contradicts what I said. Just saying not being attractive to women doesn't automatically means you're not a good, decent man, women aren't always attracted to virtuous men, that's all.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/25 04:59 PM

Disagree. What do all my friends and acquaintances who are succesful with women have in common? They usually don't think very highly of women. It's one of those things most women don't realize.

You're right, I may have conflated the two ideas somewhat, but my core argument is about the disconnect between what women claim to find attractive vs what actually drives attraction in practice. This isn’t about blaming women, its about acknowledging that attraction isn’t purely rational or fairness-based. Physical appearance, confidence even if unearned, and social proof often outweigh "good qualities" in the early stages of dating, that’s why the "single mom" jab landed: it highlights how att…

I mean, yeah, being ugly makes it difficult to find a partner. The point is being attractive does not equal being a decent person. Women like to that that it does. If women only choose decent men things like abuse, cheating and single motherhood won't exist or at least won't be as high as it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 06:54 AM

Oh my bad, english is my second language so I probably didn't make myself clear. That's the point: being attractive does not equal being a decent men, It says right here lol. sorry
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:56 PM

Oh sure, that's better for everybody. That's not my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:54 PM

Nope. I'm saying being a decent men and treating you partner properly is not something that a lot of women care as much as they say they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:54 PM

The argument that being good is not equal to be attractive to women? Domestic violence would be non-existent, there won't be divorces since they are good men.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:51 PM
1

They dont' always going to be snatched because is not something women care. Sometimes a man happen to be good looking and a good man. Sometimies he's good looking but not a good man. Dude, I just shared some studies that show how women find other things attractive. You obviously don't care, I don't think there's a reason why we should keep arguing.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:50 PM
2

Could be. If anything it'll make sense why younger generations of men are more aware of this issue, younger women tend to look for wrong things in partners (Just like men do, but society doesn't have an issue accepting that)
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:39 PM

No, women look for other things (I do believe they do it unconsciously), being nice or good is irrelevant. [1]The importance of physical attractiveness and ambition/intelligence to the mate choices of women and their parents [2]...Whereas fertile-phase women were particularly sexually attracted to men perceived as arrogant, intrasexually confrontative, muscular and physically attractive, no cycle shifts were observed in women's attraction to men seen to be successful financially, intelligent or …

What proof you have that good and attractive men would marry young? Do you want me to have proof of something that I claim doesn't happen? Domestic violence would be non-existent, there won't be divorces since they are good men. Those things don't exist I know.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:35 PM

I think we're in the middle ground. I agree it doesn't matter for getting into relationships, and can be a bigger issue for LTR. The problem is, plenty men can't get into a relationships because that don't matter, however people keep telling them it matters. That's gaslighting. that's my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:33 PM
2

Yeah. But my point is that's not relevant for women when looking for a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:31 PM

Ah, I see your point. Yes being a good man can make you a good partner. But that's not something women care or look mostly in relationships or they think the look for it but are terrible at it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:30 PM

Being attractive yes, being "good" is irrelevant. If that was the case male-to-female domestic violence and abuse wouldn't be a common thing.

Being attractive != being a good man. That's my point.

Sure. I think, for the most part, women are not some sort of holy gender (which, funny enough, I think is a way of putting them on a pedestal). They tend to be attracted to the wrong things (just like men are as well). However, the inability to admit this is gaslighting men into thinking there might be something wrong with them. I think there are men who fit the description you're talking about but are still unsuccessful with women, just as I believe there are abusers who don’t struggle with wom…

I'm mostly replying to the (very) few women in here that don't see it. I agree with most men in here and mostly agree with you, but I think it would have been better if I tag this question as "question for women" since I realize most men agree with me in some way or another.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/25 09:03 PM

Men who are attractive do stay off the market quickly, whether those attractive men are "good" or "bad", is totally random. Another data you could use is the % of domestic violence in relationships.

Attractive men will be off the market, whether those attractive men are "good" or "bad", is totally random. I'm not arguing that attractive men aren't attractive, but rather than being decent is irrelevant. You could also use the % of domestic violence in relationships, but I thought that would make people uncomfortable.

"Split" grociers and other stuff is not "being a provider". Of course most men care if a woman helps with money, but is not the same as having a "career". We mostly don't care if you have a highschool diploma but making 30k a year and helping with money, around the house or adding anything of value to the relationship, we don't care if is not money, we will help with the that. Not really. Attractiveness is definitely more objective than women here think, BUT that doesn't mean is not subjective. Most women think if you're unattractive, there'll always be a woman out there who will find you attractive; Which it is technically true, but if you're really unattractive it's probably going to be 1 in 500,000. That doesn't mean there aren't women out there who like chubby/short/ugly men, it just means your chances at finding a women who will find you attractive in that state …

Honestly curious to all women believing this, why do you think divorce rates in couples in their 20s are the highest? Shouldnt marry young lead to permanent marriages? However the younger the person are the most likely to divorce.

Like the other comment said, men learn how difficult/lonely life is in their teens/mid-20s depending if they're unattractive/poor/physical or mentally impaired, we already had time to process it (and they ones that couldn't are no longer alive, that's why suicide rates are higher in men). Also women tend to develop higher levels of anxiety and depression, again because the men who developed that are not longer alive. /r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 06:18 PM

You're absolutely free to do that and look for girls that would be ok with you asking those types of questions about their sexual past in the first dates. I just think is pointless to do it, but you can do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/25 01:03 AM
8

Sure you can ask when you're start dating just like a man can ask for a women's body count when they first start dating. Personally I'd just stay away from any potential partner asking question about your sexual past regardles of your gender, to me it feels weird. But you're totally free to do it, we just focus on different things in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 10:26 PM

Your sexual past is not your partners' business outside STD checks. If you feel entitled to it well... we're looking for different types of people in relationships, which is fine. Personally I don't think is healthy, at least I hope you're consistent and aren't bothered by men asking women's body count, which is equally pointless but some men do it aswell.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 09:49 PM

This is basically the same as "Men, would you date a woman who was promiscous?" It's fine if you don't, I'm sure most women will replay with a no, but realistically speaking, there's no way to know it. Unless you ask on the first date "Have you ever pay for sex?" and expect an honest answer. The truth is, plenty of you (at least out there in the real world lol) are dating promiscous women/men who paid for sex, you probably just don't know it.

Yes, is a just-world fallacy thing that a lot of people like to think, specially women, although men do it every now and then. I've had plenty female friends, some of them helped me "fix" my dating profile. They were still shocked when I had 1 match in months. And it's not just me, is quite common. This one is complex and most people do it, women and men alike. The value of "manhood" comes from how good a man is with women. That's why "incel" or "you've never made a women cum" are used as an insult. Imagine making fun of women because they don't know how to give a blowjob. Like I said, it's a complicated issue that only a sociologist could give you ideas of how to tackle it, but I definitely think it's a factor that's affecting men's mental health.

You believe that if Henry Cavill smelled like shit, gained 100 lbs, and verbally abused women, not a single woman would reject him because of these things? A few yes, a lot no. Matthew McConaughey, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp all actors that have a fame of being unhygienic and abusers. They had no issues with women finding them attractive. The trick here, is that what women say is attractive is not the same to what they find attractive i.e. A man that looks like Henry Cavill would still get laid even if he doesn't shower, exercises, has a bad personality, etc... It's all about the subtext. Yes, women are attracted to men with options, if you don't have options most women will lose attraction to you. The entire just-world logic women have behind this is "being good = attractive to women" this is not true, and really there's no way to convince the women of that. Don't know a lot about her but I'd take your word for it. Yeah the people in that categories may have a slight disadvantage compared to the average women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 09:17 PM

Yes, obviously physicial appereance matter too, men are honest about it. Also don't know who that was but after googling the first result mention he has a story of dating a few men, like I said, women with no options aren't common.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/25 08:05 PM

This is one of those differences in gender that people just don't grasp. A man with no options is NOT attractive to women, that's why a lot of married men say they feel more attractive to women than when they were single. A women with no options (not that they are common) would be more attractive to men. Exclusivity is attractive to men (that's why a women with no sexual past is often attractive), it is not attractive for women.

How would you vet people before dating them? I was assuming you were friends with that person beforehand? If you only date cold aproaches, then that's your problem and you'd need to change who you date. Men who are successful at cold approaches are usually the top men who don't lack female attention.

Hyperbolic mentality is what causing division. Yeah, part of it is the stats and studies; but if studies didn't exist personal experiences would take their place. And I do believe when we have several studies reaching similar conclusions, they're not as "incorrect" as you think. A lot of studies basically mess with people's cognitive bias' so it's also normal that they're difficult to accept.

A lot of women care about standard of living. A lot of men dont. If she's fun to be around we'll stick. We don't care about everything else. It's the way life works. The redpill (or one pill cant remember which one) says "Modern women want traditional masculine men but don’t wanna be traditionally feminine woman" and that is 100% true. It's one of those thing you have to accept.

I have a acquaintance from college who is an introverted. He isn't friend with almost nobody. But we ended up working together for a professor's project. He has absolutely no problem with women, cause he's good looking. I literally saw him get a FWB after the girl asked for his phone. How many guys here know a guy with no friends that doesn't struggle with women? I bet a fair share of you do. My point is: Social skills while useful, they're not as useful as people, even women, make it out to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/25 10:07 PM

Is because usually women have terrible ways of judging men. Yes, we men do too, but women believe they care about personality and sense of humor. I do genuinely believe you think you do, is a cognitive dissonance than most women have. When I say choose better I mean change the standards you have. This however, will always lead to the same discussions: Women are better than men and they actually don't care about looks. You aren't better. IIRC unattractive women are more ok with cheating. Going back to my college years, most of my "chad" friends had mid/unattractive FWB and attractive girlfriends, it was kinda crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 06:57 PM
1

Yeah, that's why murderers and criminals have no success with women. Don't know why is so hard to accept for women. Being nice or likeable have nothing to do with how sexually successful you are. So yeah a "nice" guy complaining about not getting lucky makes sense but Chris Watts having a wife and a mistress and having another mistress while he's in jail, also made sense. Women always ignore the other side of the spectrum.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 06:53 PM

I'd rephrase it to "being likeable is not related to your sexual attractiveness" but a lot of people would have issues with that despite being common sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 02:48 AM
3

Sure, sorry about that, I'm stating the fact that criminals don't have issues finding women to date, being a "decent" man isn't as important as people make it out to be to find a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 02:42 AM

IIRC, the difference isn't actually that big, like 4-5 years? If somebody has the study that'd be great. Yes, if you're focusing in quantity alone 5 years more sounds great.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/25 07:52 PM

That is correct, abnormal men can be sexually succesful, my point is usually using that "virgin" metric to conclude that the men would be a good partner is not as good as women make it out to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 09:38 PM
2

Finding a decent man. Ah sure, it's a deviation from the statistical societal norm. I just that isn't as bad as women make it out to be. But at the end of the day we're all free to have our standards when choosing a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 09:15 PM
4

It’s not a good metric for what? For finding a decent partner. Read my example again. You seems to have an issue undesrtanding why somebody being a virgin is not as bad as women make it out to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 09:14 PM
5

Sure, we're discussing how bad of a metric it is. Not criminality.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 09:10 PM
6

Sure, maybe a man is virgin because he's awkard and doesn't have good conversation skills, so women aren't attracted to him, maybe he's boring and has no social skills, which most women are too aswell, maybe he would make a good partner for a boring, socially akward woman. The toxic/manipulative guy who has cheated every single girlfriend he's ever had however has no issues finding somebody to date. It's not a good metric, you believe is a good metric.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 09:08 PM
3

Most criminals are outside the societal norms and still find women to date/marry. My point being a virgin is not a good metric, you believe is a good metric.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 09:07 PM
4

Point still stands: It's not a great metric. Would you agree criminals also deviate from social norms? They mostly have no issues finding women to date/marry. It's another metric that doesn't make a lot of sense if you look at the amount of women in toxic relationships with violent/manipulative man, and is just women justifying their belief systems.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 09:01 PM
2

There is nothing "off" per se. Women perceive it as something "off". Ted Bounty wasn't a virgin and was one of the most succesful serial killers in America. Chris Watts even had a lover when he was with his wife. Not having sexual success does not mean something is "off" with you, a lot of women like to think that way because in her eyes the best way to judge a man is how many women have sleep with him. I'll bet you most awkard virgin men that can't even talk on the phone aren't as dangerous as …
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 08:42 PM

It's called Survivorship bias. If that was the case every rapist/murdered/criminal would be a virgin. Women just like to link those two things because they think is a good selection method.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 08:36 PM
14

Women link sexual success with being a "normal" man. Ingore the fact that most criminals have no issues finding woman to date, it's some sort of cognitive dissonance women have.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 08:33 PM
1

Because it goes against the women-are-wonderful belief of women being better than men because they are attracted only to deep, complex things like personality unlike men who are just so shallow. They justify it with mental health issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 07:39 PM

Basically why this and "body count" conversation is largely pointless... people aren't open to their sex lives like this. It's completely fine to have those standards, just don't expect your partner to talk about it openly.

Gen z women are not dating as much either, but they're still dating more than men. For every 1 male that isn't in a relationship... Isn't there (approximately) 1 woman who is single too? Why the focus on only on the males? Because that's not how it works, women generally don't grasp or don't like to accept it but usually the most attractive, powerful men are sleeping/dating with several women at the same time, for example, the crazies story I've heard was a college friend that dated a married ma…

If they wife was 100% dedicated to the house and family, I'd say that's mostly fine. I don't should be "long-life", i.e if she's been working for a year or gets remarried, means she could do fine by herself and doesn't need her ex husband to help her anymore, but that'd be a conversation for later time. BTW isn't this basically alimoney? which again I'm mostly ok if the woman was 100% dedicated to the house and the amounts weren't so ridiculously high in some cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/25 10:39 PM

Then I'd say the same about women who don't want a prenup: Stay away from those men.

Always interesting the cultures of the people writing here. I started working at 18 and investing at around 22. The fact people have "nothing" when they get married is crazy to me. Maybe 3 decades ago sure, but nowadays? damn.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/25 10:34 PM

Anecdotes are also not the only basis of discussion If you use things like studies, people discard it as easy based on their anecdotes. This is why discussion is basically pointless here.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/25 04:35 PM

Well, at least you are congruent. I can respect that. But at least you should see why others have problems with it. You could understand why black people are critics of racism.

It would be sexist to assume that she's got bad intentions only for the gender. If I have 100 000 cash I'd pick the bear over any person of any gender, race or nationality.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 05:11 PM

Yeah but even there people don't do it. Funny enough the ones who attended to those events were women mostly. IIRC the no men go to singles event happens everywhere, and with good reason, is basically paying to get rejected 100 times
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 05:09 PM
2

If you had $100 000 cash, would you rather some random person or a black bear notice you with it? The bear 100%. But what bothers so much people is the misandry behind it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/25 05:05 PM

Yeah, I think sadly it would be too late before government realizes what they have to do. I remember reading like a decado ago in Japan young people would get monetary compensation for going to singles event but it was too little too late, Japan is always one step in the future even when it comes to social problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/25 10:25 PM

I understand what you're trying to do, but most women date and marry. I'm sure a minority aren't interested on dating/marrying and that's ok too.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/25 10:24 PM

You talking about third places, those are disappearing aswell and the few ones that exist aren't used for dating anymore since that's frowned upon, except maybe bars and clubs.

People in general are dating less. 4B movement as most Internet movements are a minority. You need to go outside a little bit more.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/25 05:27 PM

I mean sure they can do it, but those "internet" movements aren't real life. There's a reason why you probably haven't meet a lot of "in.cels" in real life. They're a minority. Most women are still dating.

People are scared of IRL interactions. Search "men vs bear", most women don't trust men, this has made it way more difficult to even ask a women out, a lot of men just don't do it anymore. Not trying to blame specifically somebody, we're all contributing to this culture, I'm just stating how things are.

Women don't like to be told the truth point blank, they're more emotional in that way. Yes, I do understand women feel ofended and have emotional negative responses against the "shitty" man here. They're usually not having negative responses to shitty liying men irl tho lol, they're having relationships with those men.

So, I just read the link you posted about women dropping out of dating apps, which is true, dating apps are dying, and thank god for that. But that doesn't mean they are dropping out of the dating market. What do I think of the women that do it? Yes, most women's dating profiles are also really bland and boring aswell. But women don't get penalized as much by being average or boring, because dating and relationships are exponentially more difficult for men that is for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 07:13 PM

Hard disagree, I believe women are human just like men, and even if they deliberatley seek men, social relationships are a difficult issue and they can lack experience or have emotional issues when that can make them choose poorly a partner. I have the controversial take that women can be flawed aswell.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 08:24 PM

Yes, a lot of men aren't rational either. That's an accepted fact in society. Just saying a lot of women are equally as awful when choosing a partner. That fact is not as widely accepted in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 08:19 PM

I once read "Men put women on pedestals, women put relationships on pedestals". And ever since I realize how true that is, like how most women judge the entire potential of a relationship on the first kiss. This is being amplified extremely by social networks.

Being a decent, good men is not as important as women make it out to be, yes that is true, but you'll seldom hear women admiting that beacuse: 1.- A lot of women believe they are morally better at choosing partner ("i.e. Men just want sex, I just want a decent men"). That idea absolutely destroys this. 2.- There's a just-world fallacy belief that a lot of people have and is extremely difficult to get rid of, men and women. 3.- Actually I complete understand women in this reason: Admiting being a…

Having a preference on promiscuity has nothing to do with religion or conservative values; It's about character and how it adds nothing to your character. The thing women don't understand is that for a women having sex is the easiest thing in life. You have to do absolutely nothing to get it. As a man, I'm with women on this one. Being married is literally what most people, men and women, want. Most people actively look for it and achieve it, and they are considerable more happy than single people. A lot of men are starting to believe that "you can be happy single" bs that a lot of extreme feminist created. Yes you can be happy single but in average you'll not be as happy as if you were married.

I'm sure, same thing could be say about personality or basically everything that makes attraction it's all varying and depends on the mood, but looks are one of the most important and the first one we notice regardless of sex or gender.

English is my second language. How would you call when somebody approaches in a low voice, kinda awkardly in a shy way? That's how I've seen quiet often women do it. My point is, women's social skills aren't any better than men. Bad social skills usually means bad luck at finding a partner if you're being actively searching.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/25 11:06 PM

Firstly, women libido isn't as high as men, that's a big one. They don't feel like looking for a partner as intensely as men. Secondly, fear of rejection. If the average women would go through the level of rejection the average men goes through, women's mental health would be way worse. Just keep quiet and try to avoid those type of issues, but every man definitely knows about them and also know you have to keep quiet if you want to stay out of trouble and even more if you want to be in a relationship. The red pill is main stream people just keep quiet about it. Also Gen z and younger for some reason tend to be more lazy that millenials, guess they value their free time more.

I forget a lot of people here generalize a lot. Yes, if you're extremely unattractive, you should look for a woman who is extremely unattractive aswell, that's the way life works. If you want somebody who is out of your league you're going to have to pay either directly or indirectly.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/24 06:00 AM

Just go to sex workers in that case. Having a sugar relationship is so dangerous for your well being.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/24 03:17 AM

Is usually mental health. If you're ugly and try to ask women out you'll get gigantic levels of rejection before being successful, levels no woman experiences. A lot of men of younger generations simply don't have the mental strength to go through that. That's why I think "suck it up and man up" is a big factor to get into relationships and the fact being a traditional man being so frowned upon nowadays plays a big role on what's happening with modern dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/24 02:56 AM

Do you care about men manipulating women for sex? Why? They're immoral. I'd take a prostitute and paying for sex over a full blown intimate relationship with a golddiger. Prostitutes are honest about the whole thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/24 02:38 AM

We are more honest when we say what we look for in a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/24 02:36 AM

Sure there's a minority, you're the first one I've heard saying that and I used to work in a female dominated industry (interior design) and went to a dominated female college for a dominated female career (architecture) before switching to software. Generalization are bad so I'll give you there's probably a small percentage of women who are like that, just like i'm sure there's a small percentage of men who are aggressively pursued by women.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 04:37 PM

Definitely. Some women can develop some sort of gut feeling when something is wrong. Although it usually comes later in life, not all of them do it and it varies in efficieny but even when is not that effective, in general, is better than men's. That's the plus side of being constantly bombarded with attention, while the average man is lucky to get 1 girl's attention. IMHO that's part of the problem, most men can't see damaged/toxic women, which sadly are quite common.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/24 05:34 AM

Hard to say. On the one side, women aren't really good at judgin character despite what they say, otherwise every women won't have a "my ex was a douchebag" story, they fall easy if a man knows how to manipulate them. On the other hand, men can get so lonely due to the lack of female attention that when they meet somebody who pays them attention, they just ignore all red flags and fall easily. My bet is... Women can spot them easily and men fall easily.

The most attractive men to women tend to have traditionally masculine traits and do traditional roles in the relationship (I don't know many women that can change a tire, all my male friends are the ones in charge of the their and their SO's car). This type of gaslighting is definitely what's causing so much troubles with men nowadays.

Hey, at least you're honest, that's much more than you can say for the average single women in their 30s. I believe EVERBODY is generally unhappier single, we just are in an age where women have to pretend they are happy due to social pressure.

Nothing to argue with there, other than I'd like to see that research if you have the link. I just want to point out that women have absolutely terrible social/dating skills if that's how they "initiate" flirting. I've always found it funny how society makes fun of men who don't know how to socialize or flirt, while women are equally awful at it.

No one told me that being nice had anything to do with being attractive. Oh, then you agree with my original comment... being genuinely a decent/nice man has absolutely nothing to do with how women find you attractive. Don't need to argue really.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/24 03:39 AM
2

Listen, I could show you studies done about the subject and how usually women are attractive to the same small subset of men, but that would only make you call me names and not change your mind. Hell, using dating sites as a man and comparing it with your attractive friends will show you the complete opposite that you're saying. So there's no point on arguing, and basically why I think most threads here are mostly pointless.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 01:19 AM

Absolutely, men complain about the women too. But here's the catch: we, man don't claim"being nice" is what's attractive to us, we're more honest about it, we don't really care that much or at least is not at the top of our priorities. What we say is usually in line to what we're attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/24 01:17 AM

This again? Being nice has nothing/little to do with your success with women, that's why every women you've ever meet has a "ex-boyfriend was an asshole" story and that's why whenever a women is murderer the husband is always the first suspect. So yeah, for men: You being nice does not mean more women will find you attractive, you need to work on other things that matter: Personality, sense of humor, physical appereance. For women: That guy you find attractive may very well be an asshole or not,…

I'd agree only modifiying the your last sentence a liitle bit: To most people having a romantic partner is absolutely critical to their happiness, others are perfectly fine alone.

Yeah but "cute" usually only includes a extremely small minority of men, and if you find a man cute, chances are a high percentage of women do to, hence why a lot of women are cheated on, most women find most men unattractive, that's the part women have a hard time grasping. Women have absolutel more strict standards, they'd hardly never admit it.

They're woman who choose to drop of the workforce because the workfoce can be extremely though and mentally draining. Nothing wrong with that, I'd agree with point 2 if it wasn't because divorces are actually made for this kind of scenarios: the women take everything the man have plus things they end up with things like alimoney. 1 and 3 are nonsense, you think women being free of doing whatever they want is a step backwards for women equality? lol

Two things: 1) These women are like that because they choose to. Those woman could download a dating app/go to a bar/ ask on a date to literally any men they like and have a high % of succes, they don't struggle to find somebody to date, they choose not to date, unlike men in that position. 2) Most men agree and accept being a 'good woman' does not make you attractive to men, if you're physically attractive men will chase you. You're saying that like is surprising to us, we are honest about what…

I agree with you, however plenty of decent men who you'll never see saying they are 'good' or 'yelling' good things about themselves, they just do things they enjoy and keep living their life. A lot of those men are struggling to date aswell, which is usually the part women don't grasp. I'm a software engineer, I know plenty guys like that.

As a man, I believe you most women you know have been abused; being a decent man with good personality and generally a good person does not translate to finding a relationship, quite usually is the opposite.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 05:33 PM

Dating, yes. For a long term relationship, nope. And that doesn't mean I'm looking for a woman that makes 200K a year which seems to be what women believe, if you have a steady job that pays food, I'll gladly have a serious relationship with you as long as you keep moving forward in life and your job.

We're talking about tiktok and social networks? Is it because we're not constantly talking about mens' bodies like men do ours? Women are constantly talking about height (less than 6') making fun dick size and bald men, so yeah... women are just as superficial as men, and you thinking that you're not and ignoring all the women talking about those things all the time is basically what I mean in my original comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/24 05:17 PM

I mean, yeah women and men are superficial, men are just honest about it. And there's nothing evil about liking superficial things, I actually think that's part of the problem, thinking thats "evil" makes women uncomfortable since they're more in touch with their emotions.

Single most importat things for relationships that people just don't understand: luck, looks and social skills. If you have those, you'll be be happy. If you don't, life won't be fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 11:31 PM

A lot of men aren't even dating, and that number is growing. Maybe the top 10% of most attractive men who use women at will are to blame.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 11:26 PM

Because your sexual story is important for other people and society in general. For women is having too much sex, for men is having 0 sex. We're at different extremes of the scale but they're esentialy for the same reason (for women having to much sex is the easiest thing in life, for men having no sex is the easiest thing in life, people don't like lazy people). Is not fair, but no matter how much you complain, that's how is going to be.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 07:59 PM

You went to two dates with that man, same wth all the "women complaining". Those men aren't having issues getting dates becaus they're attractive, when you're attractive even if you don't smell good there are plenty woman who would ignore that. Women don't really grasp that concept. Plenty of men who would "do the bare minimum" don't get many dates, because they're not attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 07:57 PM

People from all genres an sexes are suffering from high levels of loneliness. Your original thread is about "strugging with dating". Those are two different topics. Are we talking about loneliness or strugging to find somebody to date? Gay men/women don't have the second problem. Doesn't mean they don't have their set of problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 07:54 PM

Can you share the threads where straight men complain about hooking up too much, going on a lot of dates, and meeting a lot of women, but find difficult to find a serious relationship? From there, we can have a discusion comparing the differences and similarities for both cases. It doesn't have to be reddit threads, any link from any site will suffice.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/24 04:29 PM
8

Did you even read the comments of any of the threads you posted? Gay men are hooking up, going on dates, and meeting people, but is difficult to find a serious relationship. Straight men are not complaining about going on a lot of dates and hooking up too much lol. Different problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 11:36 PM

Actually men are most likely not to report due to "sexist ideas" and "shame". https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10414400/
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 11:23 PM

Both genres are generally happier when in relationships, plenty studies done about it which reach to the same conclusion. Part of the problem is, in my opinion, women don't like to accept that. For straight relationships, both genres want to have a deep meaningful relationship with somebody of opposite sex, women just have way higher standars than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 03:12 PM
5

A lot of men are aswell. This is actually a complex issue due to men actually being even less likely to report than women are. Depending on the study, country and year different studies throw very different results: For example studies made in the US show the largest gap between genres, men being the ones that are more violent, but if you read from other countries like New Zeland the difference can be as little as 6%. And that's reported violence.

Most bisexual woman end up with men. The rate of violence in women-women relationships varies depending on the source but at best is the same as men-women relationships, at worst is higher. Meh, I meet 5 guys with 10 girlfriends that are eventually cheated or they were actually loaded or dating women below their social level and the women claimed that "they were attracted to their personality", so disagree with that. But also yeah I agree, most men aren't actually ugly (ugly and beautiful people are the minority, attractiveness works like a bell curve), they just have self steem issues.

You're right it doesn't mean you are, and is obviously not the only factor (social networks are equally damaging imho). But is consistently more and more common. Having a partner is the single on of the most fulfilling experience in life, but it takes sacrifice and hard work and is not always fun. But in the long run is the best you can do for your mental health. The next few decades are going to be really interesting when it comes to relationships and people's mental health.

I legit think this is the issue with genz and younger men. Women care about looks aswell, you don't have the looks to be demanding my man, get over it, it's not the 60s anymore when women would marry ugly fucks because they needed it. Adjust your standards to what you can get and 90% of men will be fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 07:08 PM

Yeah, but I've always said men are honest about it. We're direct with what we want. Most men don't want overweight, promiscous woman (most men, but there are plenty of men who still like that). We know physical appereance is among the most important things for a relationship and it's the first thing people notice about a potential partner, we don't deny it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 07:02 PM

Do you have any source to back up that or you're just commenting what you think?

women actually caring more about looks than men do, isn’t all that surprising. The funny thing is, it’s usually women who don’t believe it. I was a bit surprised to see how much income matters for men, but when you think about how the economy is these days, it kind of makes sense. And Ive got to say, I agree with the newer studies on testosterone. It’s been getting a bad reputation, but it’s so important for men’s behavior. It really plays a big role in how we function. Those studies don't talk …

Great sounds interesting. I don't agree with much of that but never heard of those studies you mentioned so could you share those aswell? And no, hormones are extremely powerful and not "simplistic at all". Go read trans people experiences online on how they react to hormone therapy so you can see how much more powerful they are and not just a "nudge". I hate to be that guy (because I know this is a stereotype women dislike) but a lot of your feelings are actually your hormones.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/24 06:31 AM
0

Can you share the study? I hope isn't a "self-reported study" where they asked people how horny they think they are. Hormones are a very tiny component of sex drive though. Also the source of this please.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/24 04:31 AM
2

Ah, my bad you're right. As long as you acccept women have it easier to find men to date, we agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/24 04:30 AM
7

Who thinks that women are just as horny as men (on average)? Modern ideologies that want to normalize sex for women. Which is fine, women do enjoy sex, but nobody in their right mind would believe that they are as horny as men. For starters testosterone is a HUGE influence in our sex drive, is not uncommon for FtM trans people being annoyed and surprised about how much more horny they when they're taking T.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/24 03:45 AM
2

Not at all. They have it easier even in dating aswell. Your sexist belief that all men only want sex isn't real life. A lot of men would date those unattractive women even with the goal of marrying/dating. Unattractive men don't have it that easy at all. Women are privileged in dating when it come to having options, (although usually they are terrible at choosing) don't know what that's so difficult to accept.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/24 01:40 AM

If you find a man attractive, so do other women. And what most women don't understand either, if you find a man unattractive, so do most woman.

Not at all, this has been proved constantly online Search "Women should do the "Pig Woman Experiment" on dating apps to really appreciate how worthless 'validation' is." in here. Don't really know why this is so hard to accept to women. You don't lack attention, you lack attention from men you want, I'm sure that comes with its own set of problems but is totally different from unattractive men's experience in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/24 04:20 AM

I think the following is also affecting dating and relationships in a equal or greater level than feminism/mensright: 1.- Men have lower testosterone levels. The main theory is that microplastics are damaging the genitals. Testosterone is what drives men's desire to have sex and form relationships with women and also is a great emotional regulator (it helps to deal with negative emotions like rejection) , and is also worrying because men with low testosterone tend to have issues with fertility. …

Most men do not make their partner's income a high priority. It's great if she makes 6 figures, but I'm already doing 6 figures myself so is not a huge deal. As long as she makes enough to take care of herself and help with spending in the house it's fine. But is she fun to be around and kind to people? is she in shape (im in shape myself because that's important for me) and beautiful and is passionated about something? and most importantly is she always giving me unconditional support and makes…

but on the other, we shouldn't honestly imply being penetrated and being made to penetrate are the same thing Nobody should imply that. We should focus on the importance of consensual sex regardles of genre.

I'd say we have similar numbers. But men tend to have more 'aggresive' type of dysfunctionalities while women tend to be more covert.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 09:25 PM

Yeah I agree, usually terrible men have no issues at finding relationships with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 01:04 AM

I can't think of one legitimate reason to give two fucks about how many past sexual partners someone has had Your personal beliefs are reason enough. You may see sex as a very private thing that you only do with somebody you love. If a person is promiscous that person sees sex as just an activity to have fun. Nothing wrong with either, but you already have a philosophical difference in life. And to me, that's completely valid. Insecurities and self-steem can be a reason, but I don't think it is …
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 01:02 AM

Oh yeah it is higher, but there's no point of comparison against men who don't hire at all, even though the study says it "there is a dearth of research on the personality characteristics that typify men who buy sex from those who do not.". But like I said, if that's reason enough for you, I don't see anything wrong with that. Also, men with dark traits tend to be more attractive. So regardless of what most women here think, most men who are hiring prostitutes are also not having issues finding …
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 12:58 AM

Just FYI for everybody reading this, I've been researching some studies mentioned here and most of the negative results are with "outside prostitution" (street girls) while "indoor prostitution" (escorts) don't have the same high results. Also in some studies when they talk about "men who pay for sex" they're using men who hire sex workers several times a week, which at that point I do find it way too much. Some of those studies are pretty interesting but they seems to obvious (if you spend thou…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 12:17 AM

This actually make sense and sounds healthy. Regardles what modern society tells you the past matters. If you're uncomfortable with the sexual past of your partner, there's nothing wrong with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 12:02 AM

Other than my most succesful friend in dating is a serial liar and most women do not care about liar men as long as they find him attractive, I'd say I agree with everything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 11:55 PM

Yep. Wanting women's approval is basically the problem with most men nowadays.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 11:50 PM

It's completely fine to have standards. That's why so many man don't want promiscous women aswell, but we've been told that one is wrong. In reality, all preferences are fine.

My theory is as men, we are used to fight for ourselves since we're kids (nobody will care if I get sick or if I lose my job) that when we're looking for a partner we just want somebody who will be there for us and love us. We mostly do not care if a women is powerful.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/24 05:31 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/24 01:50 AM

Yes, the good ol' sexist premise that most men are shitty people with no awareness or social skills whatsoever and that's why dating is so difficult for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/24 11:30 PM
4

Yeah I know, looks don't matter for you because youre are looking for serious deep things in relationships and men just want to fuck. They also said that in the video.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/24 09:14 PM
53

They basically say incels are wrong and minutes later they also said things like "Only one man in the club who is attractive, and me and my single friends feel like have to fight over him" or "sex comes easier to men" They're not smart. They're probably doing it for the cloud. I don't think people lack that level of self awareness.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/24 08:22 PM

That's why being a man is way harder when it comes with relationships. Women have a "I had a bad partner" problem. Men have the "can't get any girl interested on me" and when we finally do find one girl, the probabilities of her being a bad partner (manipulative, emotional issues) are high aswell. The problems stack for us.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/24 08:12 PM

Yeah, but refering to what OP is saying, men don't want to make the first move anymore precisely because they are choosing to be more careful, the consequences could potentially destroy their life. I'm agreeing with you, but not with OP.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 04:25 PM

I've said it hundreds of times. Generally speaking, women's social skills when it comes to dating are just as bad as men. But they don't have to be proactive about it, so it's not as noticeable as men's behaviour.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 03:30 PM

Standards. It's the hyperbolic culture we live today. The overwhelming majority of people is happier being in a relationship, that's a fact. The thing is for hetero relationships, admiting that, is admiting you need somebody of the opposite sex to be happy and that's seen as giving power over you to somebody else. That's a HUGE NO-NO nowadays.

Married people, regardles of gender or sex, have always fair better (happier) through history. It's only the last decade or so when these "studies" where they ask women if they're happy starting show the opposite. The funny thing is that if you remove the gender part and the "asking people" part, studies still show people in relationship are happier (https://www.apa.org/news/press/releases/2003/03/married-happy) it's only when you ask women that you get a different result. Never say they hated women. But a lot of men aren't happy about how society sees them just because they have a penis. The left seldom speaks to men, while the right does. That's basically why. The day the left accepts there's a mens mental health issue and actually take actions to help them, you'll see how it changes, but that day is not near.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 10:40 PM

It's almost as if patriarchy isn't the root of problem
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 06:56 PM

Do you have close male friends? Because while I'd agree most men get GFs, it's not without any degree of difficulty lol. Unless you're super physicially attractive, 90% of men have to go through a LOT of rejection/ghosting, that's far from not difficult. That's actually what I think is part of the problem: Most modern men have developed thin skin and are way too emotional vulnerable for their own good.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 06:02 PM
21

Absolutely. The results of that ideology are already becoming noticeable (for example, how most younger men are right-wing while women are left-wing). Nothing good will come of this. The sad part is that the people who are truly responsible for many of society's problems want the division to continue, is in their best interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 05:57 PM

Men can have options. But only after men learn to work on themselves and have self steem. Until then, yeah you're right.

Some do as last resource (after hearing a lot of rumors for example, watching videos or photos, etc...) but yeah, modern ideologies have kinda mark it as an "insecure" thing, but is normal to have sexual preferences on you partner. Most older women would have issues dating a virgin man. It's perfectly normal and not a "insecure" thing. Plus most promiscous women won't be honest about it, so no point on asking, but it still matters for some men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 03:36 AM

The term was originally developed in the context of feminist theological discourse, and has been used in some other areas of academia as a non–gender-based descriptor of systems of power, as opposed to patriarchy. They're actually not the same thing. It is an intersectional extension of the idea of patriarchy beyond gender. So yeah gender is there... it's just not the most important fact anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 03:31 AM

Because we don't live in a patriarchy. Most modern serious feminist movements, and not the ones made by women on faceboook or tiktok, know this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyriarchy So I'd disagree on the "we live in a patriarchy", but I'd say you're mostly right: In most developed countries your sex/genre is not as important as having money/knowing the correct people.

Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test is a cutting-edge test that makes it possible for you to confirm if the man you suspect to be the father of your baby is the biological father I think we're talking about different things?

NIPT also works for paternity testing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:56 PM

See? that's my point. Behavioral changes in people can be reason enough. How manye times have you heard a woman saying "my boyfriend was really nice but suddenly change because X or Y". Behaviour can be enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:54 PM
1

Agree, the problem here is that "reason to suspect" may have different definitions for you and me.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:49 PM

That's what dating is for. I'd never knock up a women who after dating for some time, I realize she's not emotionally stable. Again that's why this is just an hypotetical and would never happen for me, I hope you can decipher that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:47 PM
1

Just know I would never be with a emotionally unstable woman like that, that's really all.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:41 PM
2

If we talked about the issue and she's still disagree and offended, sure we can try to have a healthy talk about what we can do from that point on. Again, I've seen it, is possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:40 PM
1

Your argument doesn't make sense, because you don't understand what I'm saying, don't know why. Her behaviour in the future can change, and can make you doubt what she did in the past. Not sure if still doesn't make sense? I can give you an example if you'd like.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:38 PM
3

My man, you're just not listening and I'm not dodging anything. Maybe the person who you "rawdog and blow a load inside her" changed. Liars and cheaters exist, they can manipulate you aswell and a lot of times you don't realize until is too late.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:33 PM
1

Right, but in that case is different because she listened to what I had to say and we talk about the issue. You're assuming all women would disagree and consider it offensive. I know there are women who don't because I've seen it personally. So yes, there are emotionally smart women who would understand, you're just not one of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:32 PM
3

It did you just don't want to listen. Maybe everything was going well and suddenly her behaviour change. I'm guessing you're a woman, how many times have you heard the "he was so nice and polite, but he changed because X or Y" It could be that person who you had a child with is not the same person anymore. People make mistakes, other people can be manipulative, and maybe you didn't realize in time, doesn't make you a bad person.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:28 PM
2

If she thinks for 40 weeks that without ever being interested on having a conversation or listening to my reasons and why I want to do it and discussing about it, she is not emotionally stable.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:25 PM
-3

Like I said I would never be with a woman like that. There are definitely women that are emotionally smart enough to understand why men do it without feeling offended. Maybe the times don't match or the man may have infertility issues and just wants confirmation.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:16 PM

There are, don't know why you'd think otherwise. Care to explain?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:13 PM

I know, this is kind of a moot point for me, I was just having fun, but it would be like asking you "Would you forget your husband for missing your birthday after he sexually abused you 3 times?". I would never be with that type of partner, is just an hypotetical.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 09:12 PM

I know reddit has a unhealthy simplistic view of love and relationships, but people can absolutely change and they can do things that hurt you even when you trust them. It's okey to be human, trust somebody just to have that trust violated. If you are in doubt about anything your partner did, even when that thing violated your trust, it's fine to try to know the truth.

I don't want to be with a woman that is so emotionally unstable. If her first reaction is to feel offended or cry rather than to sit and at asking why I'm doing that and discuss about it, she's not somebody I'd have as a partner. I guess is a ridiculous hypothetical situation to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 08:18 PM

a Noninvasive prenatal paternity test (NIPP) will get rid of the doubt.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 07:44 PM

True, I agree with what you stated in the original comment. But the thing is women won't agree with that, that's why is a moot point. It's considered an extreme offense to ask a paternity test to a woman.

As a man in my 30s, I've meet a not insignificant share of women who all claim "will be alone forever because men are so difficult" or "being single is great", even witnessed drunk female friends crying because they're single, just to end up married. I definitely agree that modern ideologies are absolutely messing with people's mentality. There's nothing wrong with wanting a relationship and the overwhelming majority of people regardles of sex or gender will be way more happier in a relationship…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 07:15 PM

Yeah, sorry I worked for a while on two different 2M+ population cities, so I was thinking it's small in comparison.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 03:05 AM

I've always though 0.1% is way too high for unattractive men. Somewhere 0.00001-0.001% would be more accurate, I grew up in a small city (300k) and not once had a girl finding me attractive in 30 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 02:25 AM
1

That's a huge generalization. I don't agree with that. But even if that's the case, those women are still going to have a lot more options compared to the options men will have.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 02:22 AM

Again sure, plenty of men would still be attracted to that. The point you're missing is men are on average much more desperated than women. Remember BBW is literally a porn category.

Sure, but that still will attract plenty of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/24 11:02 PM

Actually that's... not the worst idea I've heard.

It will be a change for women for sure. Most overweight women will become attractive since that's basically the only physical requirement for a lot of men (not being fat) Most overweight men will not become more attractive since women have a long list of physical requeriments (Short, unattractive face, bald? Good luck even if you're not fat anymore)

I'm an atheist so overall no, I won't date people from the middle east if they follow a religion from there. I won't date people who have heavy religious beliefs doesn't matter which one.

I mean sure. As long as we agree on physicial appereance being a deciding factor on dating, sure.

I forgot that. No, generally I won't like to date in the middle east either because the religion there is absoltuely terrible. I cannot imagine how awful would it be for my potential daughters.

People date people in ther level of physical attractiveness (https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2024/06/240627172014.htm), that's been stablished long ago. Is that the only thing men and women look for? Of course not. It's among the most important ? Yes. Men are more honest about this than women? Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 05:50 PM

I think you have your focus wrong. What's ruining, not only dating, but human relationships in general, are social networks and internet.

I'm not white so dating in asia would probably be even harder. Other than than, I really don't have a preference of the ethnicity of my partner. That's more of a women's thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 05:42 PM
2

Yes indeed, my friend, I agree with everything you said. That's the point I was making in my original comment. Now imagine if every time someone had issues with dating, the first thing people said was, 'You live in a bad area, that's why your dating life sucks.' It's such dismissive advice for such a complex issue. That's exaclty what happens whenever the "just talk to women" advice comes out.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/24 10:34 PM
11

No advice is going to be really good unless its really specific to your exact problem. YES that is my point. A lot of men having issues dating is not because they are women-hater far-right incel-type women-objetifying men (those men are called "womanizers" and they have no issues getting laid) as reddit like to pretend. Why would you expect its easy for someone to give you good advice when you clearly can't figure out the problem yourself? If it was easy wouldn't you just be doing it? Completely…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 10:08 PM

Basically that's why a "girl boss" type of women isn't atttractive to a lot of men. You can be 40 and not have a demanding job, which is why a women's career is not as important for men, some are down to eventually settle with that type of women after dating younger and carefree women. And that's fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 10:03 PM

English is my second language, I mean somebody on his 20s. 25-29 are fair game.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 10:01 PM

I... already said by 24-25 most people are over with school... you probably missed that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 06:51 PM

You're missing the point so much. That’s what I generally don’t understand - what do you WANT women to do? That they’re so awful for refusing to do? Nothing? I'm not complaining how they act. Don't understand why is this an issue for you or you have reading comprehension issues? Or im not explaining myself properly (english is my second language)?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 06:49 PM
18

It's vague and reductive advice. Similar to "If you want to fix your financial issues? get a job". Sure, I guess you should do it, but simplifies an issue that may be more complex. And yes, men are women are different, we go through extremely different experiencies in life, is not uncommon for men to think of women as an extremely different set of people, same applies for women. Don't know why that's such a big issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/24 06:46 PM

You're missing the point of what we're trying to make. Whenever a man has issues with women, women's advice is "stop thinking you'll get laid and treat us like normal people". That's really vague and mostly useless advice. You need to be attractive, however you treat women is secondary. I'll give you another example, one of the other 2 dudes was traditionally attractive and later ended up sleeping with 2 of the women there. Those women didn't even talk to him when they're working, they had an "a…

Used to work in interior design. There were like 12 women and 3 guys. Agree on the you'll be seen as "one of the girls" part. "A male friend" and "somebody who she finds attractive" 99% of the times are two different types of men. I even remember when we "hang out" their husbands/boyfriends were seldom around, unless there was some heavy social event to "show his husband off". It was still a good way to learn more about women, they are as nasty and superficial (i'd say more superficial) as men, …

I'll invite the 20 yo to trips whenever I want. Also by 24-25 most people are already out of college.

Because women aren't a monolith. Some probably don't want to date a man who is 5-10+ years older than them, but there's also a LOT of women who like that. Also if you're broke, out of shape and have bad social skills, doesn't matter if you're 30 or 20, you won't have a lot of woman interested on you.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/24 10:46 PM
3

No, it happens due to the biological clock women have. And as you grow older you'll start to notice it more and more often. And even if it doesn't and you're right, life itself can make it more difficult to have fun. It's not the same dating a 20 secretary with little responsabilities that dating a 40 yo with a manager position that has to travel to other cities once a week. There's simply less time to enjoy. Some men simply don't want that, specially because at 30 a lot of men already have dema…

I definitely see this becoming more common specially in younger generations. Nowadays, a lot of women are as manipulative and toxic as a lot of men, so makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/24 05:45 PM

Like I say it depends on what you want. That's why some men eventually gor for a woman their age after having tons of fun with younger women. That's fine aswell, as long as you enjoy yourself 🤘

Hotter, more fun and less seriousness overall, and a lot of men find that attractive. But some men don't want that, they're about heavy commitment and planning their life, and that's fine aswell.

Older men date younger because those women are easy, BUT I don't mean easy in the pejorative sense that you're thinking. I mean they are more approachable and open, you have more experience and women prefer older men, it's a interesting effect. The only 2 times I've been asked out in my life were both women who were almost a decade younger (I was 30 and they were 20-21). They're not dead serious about relationships as older women are, they just want to enjoy life and have fun. A lot of men find …

Not at all. I'm guessing most of you are in your 20s or younger. I'm in my 30s, and almost every woman I know (with two exceptions) is invested in having kids, to the point where they "don't feel like women if they don't have kids." If I had to guess, many younger women are following the trend of "not wanting to have kids and being career-focused." But as you grow older, people change. Most realize that dedicating your life solely to work can be draining and feel pointless. When I was in college…

No. This is one of those ideas that are the reflection of what one genre think about something and they think is the same way the for the other genre. Women and men want different things in their partners. Most women care about the income of their partner, most men don't. As long as you're not unemployed and help with the spending in the house, it's not a problem.

Do you think women who married men who were abusive could have prevented the situation if they talked with them about physicial abuse in relationships before the relationship turned serious? Pople hide their true identity a lot of times.

I'm on a small dose of testosterone therapy and it's great mentally and emotionally (testosterone is an emotional regulator) but as a lonely, heavily unattractive male, it's sucks because it has give me the horniness of a 15 yo kid again (im in my 30s) and I'm perpetually single, but the good thing is that I can handle it, like I said it does wonders for your mental health. Also masturbation helps.

You know what? I agree with you. Thing most women don't realize is that women can be manipulative and controlling as men. Romantic relationship experience is important to have romantic relationships. For everything else in life, it's overrated. You can be a good lover/husband/wife, but that doesn't always translate to other parts in life. Society have this "just cause" belief that if you're a good person, you'll find somebody who will love you, but that's a lie, which is why so many people think is a "red flag". But remember when a women is victim of a violent crime, the husband is often the culprit. Having "relati…

Tried to read the study but is behind a paywall. I believe a study with a sample size of 86 made by an organization that works by making people aware of a problem usually needs cross-sectional studies. I disagree and basically for a reason most men here don't realize. I'm a decent man, I've never made a woman uncomfortable with my presence, used to work in a female-dominated field (interior design) and had no issue talking with women. If I ever get rejected by a woman with a lie, I know she's not the type of women who I would want as a partner, maybe she's got traumas and won't make a good partner, and most importantly she probably is terrible at judging men if she feels the need to lie to me.…

Let's pretend that the dumb idea that every single "fat" women are 100% looking just for easy sex and don't care for a relationship lol. That would still mean it's way easier to be a fat woman than an average men. The women is at least getting sex, the man isn't getting neither sex nor love. So no, even in that silly scenario they don't have it anywhere as hard as men.

boosting testosterone for someone with already normal levels increases their libido. There's a "cap" on the amount of testosterone the body can handle due to homeostasis. When testosterone levels are too high, the hypothalamus and pituitary gland reduce the production of certain hormones. In simple terms, if you start receiving too much testosterone, your body stops producing it to achieve equilibrium, obviously boosting testosterone won't increase your libido after certain point because your bo…

would you expect the desire for casual sex between the genders to be exactly the same as in our real world? I wouldn't. It would be different for sure but men would still have higher libido. As a man, I agree with you. Modern culture that wants to paint women with same libido as men is insane. Outside biological anomalies, the average woman will never like sex as much as the average man. I blame pornography and things like onlyfans.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/24 11:21 PM

Agree. As a man also is annoying the the belief that women prefer decent, good, kind man when it's obviously not true. And there's nothing wrong with that, we're all humans, not saying men are any better, because we aren't.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/24 11:10 PM

Those men probably aren't "average". Unless the man is extremely attractive, I believe most men have a difficult time perceving the attractiveness of other men. For example Pete Davidson is good looking, but most men just don't see it. I've never meet a man who is "fairly average but they have women obsessed with them ". The fairly average men that I know are: 1.- Single or 2.- Have had 1 or 2 LTR in their life.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/24 10:30 PM

It happens, but back to my original comment. Do you want to genuinely be loved or just to be in a relationship? Do some research on the % of unhappy women in relationships, most of those women who are dating below them are probably in unhappy, transactional relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/24 09:25 PM

then nearly all guys are unattractive. Yeah.... remember women find something like 80% of men unattractive.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/24 08:28 PM

If you don't care about being genuinely loved by a women, yes you can count on money. But I don't think that's a healthy approach to have. And when I say unattractive, I mean really unattractive people. The ones that are in shape and still are unattractive. Think of Aziz Ansari or Harry Melling, those are men that will never be super attractive no matter how hard they try.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/24 08:04 PM

Disagree. Awareness it's a great tool for changing people's behaviour. Accepting that women are as flawed as men when choosing a partner and they're not these magical creatures that can "sense good men" (which is a weird way to put women on pedestal that even women themselves do) it's not healthy. Arguing leads to awareness, awareness leads to improvement. "Focusing on yourself" won't do as much as you think in your love life if you're simply not attractive.
