| 1 | "Men should listen to women" yeah and women have radically differentiating opinionsThe whole purple pill is just a lot of red pill repackaged, tbh; it's ridiculous. Women are individuals who knew and therefore have different views...wow, who knew 🤣. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/03/26 08:31 AM |
| 1 | "Men should listen to women" yeah and women have radically differentiating opinionsWell, if you looked at the Epstein files and the Pelicot case, you might consider that too. Women are held to a higher moral standard where any immorality leads to harsher judgment and punishment. You see these examples in the language used; for example, with men who sleeps around, they're called a ladies' man or a player. This language enforces that for men it's okay to be promiscuous, while a woman is called a slut, whore, etc. Single mother is used as an insult against women etc. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/03/26 08:24 AM |
| – | Studies against Men Are Often Designed to Confirm a Narrative, Not Find TruthThank you, because I am in the STEM industry, and we would and could never publish research papers if the data were unreliable and the methodology couldn't be replicated, etc. I generally think this is the same for most researchers, even in social science when publishing papers, maybe less strict in comparison to scientific papers. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/03/26 07:43 AM |
| – | Studies against Men Are Often Designed to Confirm a Narrative, Not Find TruthI was thinking the same thing because articles of any sort are checked for quality before it's published because I work in STEM research, and you cannot publish a paper that is completely unreliable in their data gathering and methodology. I think these findings have some truth to them but a few of OPs examples are just what's on internet websites and not from actual accredited sources e.g ncbi. So OP is mad that some sources do support feminists with reliable data but the other sources are just… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/03/26 07:33 AM |
| – | Studies against Men Are Often Designed to Confirm a Narrative, Not Find TruthMotherhood shouldn't be a penalty, but it seems many women feel so for the following reasons: 1) Loss of economic independence, because she can't work and has to rely on her husband, and generally speaking, with real-world possibilities of affairs and abandonment, it's not a good plan, especially if there is no backup plan. When going back to work, she is making less money than her partner. 2) Men do not get nearly the same amount of paternity leave as women do with maternity leave. Their leave … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/03/26 07:21 AM |
| – | Studies against Men Are Often Designed to Confirm a Narrative, Not Find TruthI generally think if socially we raised boys and girls to the same standards, it would contribute to bridging the gap between the differences of both sexes. But unfortunately historically this was not the circumstance, so we still see these gaps trickle down to today, and instead of trying to empathize, many lash out when validly called out for harmful behavior. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/03/26 06:56 AM |
