Okay didn’t read the whole thing bc it’s long, but when he claims his wife is a spender, my first thought is she’s probably not a spender, she’s probably the one handling the mental load of purchasing what they need to run the household given she’s a SAHM, and he nitpicks her purchase choices. I’ve seen too many men shit on their wives for buying things like very reasonably priced home decor at Ross/TJ Maxx, a somewhat expensive, but extremely useful house appliance such as a vacumop or roomba (…

So true. Never dealt with this in dating, but eventually got to this with my father. I kept having all these fantasies that if he understood what he did to me and “got it,” that he’d be so sorry and tell me he never meant to hurt me and he loves me. But I eventually I realized that he would never understand not because it didn’t make sense, but because he didn’t want to. In a fair world, people with empathy respond to explanations because when they hurt people it’s usually a genuine misunderstan…

That term usually refers to situations where the rapist is putting their partner at risk for STDs, and the partner would not have taken those risks if they had known. So usually it’s either cheating (esp cheating w/ multiple partners & w/o protection) or taking a condom off w/o the woman knowing. I could also see it applying if someone replaced birth control pills w/ sugar pills or a similar situation where someone is taking risks with pregnancy they wouldn’t otherwise take if they knew.

Bruh I thought she was pissed bc she found out she was being cheated on and he was lying to both of you. You mean to say she knew she was the side piece and posted that for everyone to see? She humiliated herself.

Men who throw the “gold digger” term around are lazy MFs with no ambition or drive. I can’t think of a single example of a woman I know personally who married her partner for money (and I was raised in and still live in a wealthy area, so I know some wealthy men), yet I know COUNTLESS examples of women who are with useless manchildren. And by the way, why does it seem like all men have this huge thing against gold diggers when only a very small man percentage of them are actually even rich to be…

Imo both hot girl and beautiful woman get on my nerves. Because there are negative stereotypes men associate with both those terms - vapid, self centered, superiority complex, used to getting everything they want, looks down on guys they’re not attracted to, couldn’t have possibly faced adversity in life, slutty, only concerned with social status, bitchy, they’re either a calculated & cunning sociopath or an airhead - there’s no such thing as a hot woman who’s both kind and smart, etc. Really, t…

I don’t agree with this at all for one reason: the vast majority of men any woman has available to her struggle to see her as an independent being, and they have a tendency to project what they want her to be onto her. If she goes for these types of guys, she’ll end up getting treated like shit. I’m a conventionally attractive female, so I’ve been overwhelmed with swarms of male attention since I entered puberty. I can count on one hand the amount of times the guys interested in me have actually…

I’m sorry, but this is intensely disturbing, and your dad doesn’t sound like a good guy at all. I’m not saying your dad needs to be a controlling freak prohibiting you from having sex, as this is a more common problem, but the reverse - encouraging you to do it with someone you don’t want to - is just as bad. Actually, it’s potentially even worse. Sex is a very intimate, serious thing that carries a lot of risks if done w/ the wrong person. STDs can be transmitted even with a condom, so there’s …

This is quite possibly the best post I’ve ever seen on this sub. You cannot have a worse situation than a momma’s boy w/ a pickme mother. Literally the most enraging, toxic situation you can deal with, and you’ll come out of it feeling permanently scarred because you’ll end up having to make the tough decision to get up & walk out, and when you do this you’ll have a bunch of people who shouldn’t even be up in your business demonizing you & treating you like you’re the scum of the earth. You’re g…

This is one of my biggest pet peeves - talking abt dating a race you’re dating like it’s a damn flavor of candy you want to try. And when I hear someone take a fetishization type comment as a compliment it makes me so sad & makes me wanna be like noooo babe you deserve so much better than to be flattered by someone complimenting you because you’re their fetish. And it’s not bad to have a racial preference, but there is a right way & a wrong way to say this. I strongly prefer Hispanic men, but I …

A week ago, I would’ve needed eyebleach after reading this, but after seeing two posts of men wanting women to essentially serve as sex slaves, clean their houses, AND pay them rent - one guy wanted $450, the other one wanted $900 - seeing a guy who at least isn’t demanding rent, cleaning services, or for you to give him sex whenever he wants is a step up. 😂 A week ago, I would’ve thought it was entitled for the man in this post to feel the need to tell you that you won’t be babysitting as if th…

I think the “deep down you know you want more” is the most terrifying part. Like he’s never even met you, but he’s already assured of the fact that even though your lips and body langauge might say otherwise, really, truly, deep down in your soul, you want to fuck him. Like he’s never even met you and already, he’s projecting onto you his virgin/whore centric fantasy of coercing a woman who’s too modest to admit she wants sex, but secretly pining to fuck him. What is it with these dudes being so…

This is what’s wrong with the whole “soulmates” belief. Men use it to justify behavior that’s insane. Love is not some mystical thing - it’s two people who have sexual chemistry agreeing to treat each other with mutual respect & to trust each other/be trustworthy to each other. It’s when you find someone you like, and the two of you have similar goals & live similar lifestyles, and you get to know each other’s morals, values, and priorities, and after a certain point you decide you’d make good l…
