Your post is unfairly downvoted imo. I think your advice is good, and I hope you find better friends also.

You suffer the consequences, privately of publicly, it doesn't really matter, it's just the different flavours. Showing emotions and weakness publicly gets you ridicule and dismissal, but privately it lacks any kind of real feedback, it leaves the empty feeling that can also be damaging to the man in question. Sometimes, going through a hard times and negative emotions alone without any feedback, just crying alone, can breed resentment and bunch of other nasty feelings like jealousy. I don't thi…

I don't know about the downvotes, maybe that wasn't needed, it was a bit of a defensive statement for no reason. But you get my exact point, we often get lost in places like this subreddit, theoretically discussing and wishing for a potentially better understanding for men, but I'm not that young and life has taught me that it's almost all "cope". Exactly right, none of things you mentioned has any positive effect, it often brings up the worst in people because it is percived as weakness. Weakne…

He's completely right (one can argue, for the wrong reasons). Men shouldn't cry. Becuase it is at the least invisible, and at the most used against them. I know that I'll probably get downvoted for this, but I think most men know this intuitively or by experience. I have never, ever in my life, seen or personally experienced a man crying having a positive outcome in any way. And I highly value my personal experience. It's not that "men should be stoic" for some abstract, metaphysical reason, it'…

I'm sorry that you are suffering, remember that even that suffering, nor anything, can force you to conclude something, or even have an opinion on something. Have fate in your future self, with time comes wisdom that you may be too young or frustrated now to see. For example, there are people who deal with all that you deal with, and have something to share with you about it, so why not give all kinds of "solutions" a chance. There are people who are willingly, or by various circumstances of lif…

There is no such thing as reverse racism or sexism, it doesn't make any sense, it's a semantic game that is actually meaningless. First off, like other commenter pointed out, "reverse" of racism or sexism is tolerance, so there's that to begin with, it's semantically wrong. But second, discrimination is what it is, it does not depend on any other factor except itself and bigotry, everything else is just bigots giving themselves a pass to discriminate. People are amazing at hypocricy, and higher …

It' s not only that sub, it most of the subs that have anything to do with the topic that are like that. And not even that topic alone, extreme distrust and unacceptance had been creeping in into the public relationships for a long time, dividing people. When you give people the tools to remove someone just because, and you add the current prevailing western mentality to it, the result become like this, anything at any point is a reason for exclusion or hate or whatever. I know that your comment…

This word is thrown around a lot these days, so it kinda lost it’s meaning, but what you described is what a real phobia looks like. It’s something that’s a thing to be treated, but as any phobia, it requires a willing participant to engage in his or her own healing process.

We already accept so so many things in life that lead to far more deaths then misinfo and unmoderated social, that is in my opinion a hypocritical position to hold. It's a mask for those that want more control, not less deaths. I never said that all disinfo is the same, some are worse then others, for sure, wokeness isn't the worst thing there is, I'm just not sure if I trust people to determine that in my stead. It's case by case, and it varies in time and magnitude.

They all should be allowed back, but that's just me. Take care. That artice is not very good, but I really don't argue that stuff online, so I'm just gonna leave it at that.

If i wrote here or on twitter that both my long time friend and her husband are unvaccinated, and are both blood donors due to high natural levels of antibodies they have and have been encouraged to do that by their doctors, it would be labeled disinfo. Btw, I'm not suggesting anyone should or shouldn't vaccinte themsleves, or that it's not a dividing and serious issue, but just giving a example of how something can easily be labeled as disinfo even thou I know personally, from everyday life, th…

I think it's debatable what is disinfo about public health, but I don't want to get into that. A lot of positions on that are automaticly labeled disinfo.

It's better to have all kinds of misinfo, then just one kind, like it was till now. More chance something like real info gets in. Jokes aside, do you honestly believe that? That only now will misinfo increase, since I have completely different perception. The amount of controlled, western left wing narrative that was pushed by twitter was overwhelming, to say the least. Open misandry in the name of progress was a daily thing, complete lack of empathy and general understanding, censorship for any…

Just block. I'm a part of the sub because my dad committed suicide, among many other reasons, and I'm way beyond explaining that to anyone who straight up attacks me for just being a part of the community. Like other commenters said, in many ways you just can't win, you will not be listened to or trusted. It's sad, but it's the way things are.

“… if you advocate for mens rights you are an MRA whether you like it or don’t” this is not very thought-out, you are just waving semantics around like it’s a point, the statement is meaningless. Edit: I re-read your comment, and the whole thing is just bad reasoning. Words don’t have meaning, they have use in/and context. Also, labels can be descriptions of what one does, it’s not one or the other.

I feel you man, it can be very hard. I personally am not the best person to go into this, since I battle similar demons and haven't found the solution yet, but somehow try to find validation for what you are inside yourself. The more you are helpful to others, the more you give yourself, the more will be asked of you, and everything you don't accomplish will make you look like a failure, even if you did everything else right. I can't say more then that, it would be empty words. I haven't found h…

I was, maybe for the first time in my life, having flashbacks today. I remember the first day of NATO bombardment and I got the same feeling again today, and I feel for every soul in Ukraine right now.

I asked questions about the specific line I mentioned in the second image, not really sure what you missed there.

So, I just saw the second slide that says: "Having strong, passionate political beliefs is a wonderful thing." That is an empty statement, it means nothing. It just starts right off with meaningless platitude. What is wonderful about strong political beliefs, and which ones, all of them? And we should all agree with this, or is it a given already? When something starts off with a whole sentence saying nothing, I stop wasting my time.

First to say, you have a strong point. But you seem to jump over the fact that not all people agree with what a right is to begin with, and much more, so what you see as restriction of rights can be seen as perservation of some other rights, and so on. As long as anyone is requesting something from other people, such as respect, or rights, it has to earn that first by showing the ability to do the same. I'm not a terf personally or a feminist at all, I consider people labeling themselves with id…

It was pretty good, not his best work but kinda expected. I'm not American or from western Europe thou, so I don't really share the dominant sentiments about the transgender humor, can't honestly comment on that. Watched it with friends, got some awkward laughs among many good ones, made some good points, all in all, I didn't feel like I wasted money on that Netflix subscriptions.

You know what's great? You don't even have to decide anything now, just live your life as you see fit, strive to improve yourself and the lives of those dear to you. Almost nothing has the power to make you decide right here and now what to do with your life, not even you yourself has or needs to have that power, just learn and do what you can, the best way you can.

Hypocricy and double standards are commonly expressed by those in a position of power, whereever that power might be coming from, political, sexual, cultural, emotional etc. Since they have no accountablity or repercussions for their actions, people will exercise that power to further their own agendas and wellbeing. Do not be discouraged by it, it is a fact of life, that those who have some power others don't, will exercise that power over others. We can strive to do better, be mindfull of it, …

You get nothing by arguing online, no real stakes, overwhelming negativity and just general rudeness toward people, you don't need that. I will not even mention your mental health problems, cause even for people without them, I stand by my advice. Twitter is unhealthy, no rights are won or lost there, it's a phantasmagoria of frail egos, pathology, projection of all the unresolved life issues, and much more, and you deserve to give yourself some better time than that. Just delete your Twitter ac…

To be fair, the title says that "...it will lead to far more discriminatory privilage..." So there is already, we just need more, it' not dicriminatory enough.
