Trust your opinions until somebody that you respect gives you evidence to change them. I respect men who are able to change their view when presented with evidence far more than those who will argue purely for the sake of "being dominant". Wouldn't a real man own up to his past and have looked after his daughter from the start? To me this argument seems to be "a woman wouldn't be held accountable so neither should he". Surely both women and men should be held accountable in situations like this, (regardless of how young they were when they fucked up).
