Exactly! At your age, you can't have dated any of those exes for decades or decades. They contributed to probably 2-7 bad britdays max. Matter of fact you probably have waaaaaaaaayyyy more birthdays without that ex than with! Go live your life and don't let someone who isn't even part of your life dictate the birthday your going to have!

For a trigger like this, I just work on removing the trigger on my own. Chatting about all the flaws of your exes won't exactly make him or you feel great. Really, when you dig into it, you don't want your past or exes to color your ENTIRE FUTURE. The average woman lives to like 80 years. Do you really want to spend the next 50 birthdays miserable over some ex who has already moved on? Rather than talking it out with your current, or making him feel like he has to walk on egg shells around your …

Do you have foreplay? Making out? Dry humping? Oral sex? Teasing? Etc? Are you genuinely attracted to the partner? Do you trust them? Do they seem into it too? Sometimes sensing your partner is just going through the motions can kill desire. Ofc it could be something physiological, but first, let's make sure the basics are covered.

This update is great and it is good that you are so receptive. We can't control others but we can have a say in how we act ourselves.

No one person has ONE role model. Patch-work it as almost everyone does. Focus on traits you admire, not the whole person. I'm a woman and my mentor at work is a flamboyantly gay man, but he has good work ethic and doesn't take thing too seriously. I look up to women like Rhea Ripley who is a goth muscle-mommy wrestler, I have no desire to get that built, but I admire her strength. I can't bring myself to go to the gym, then I think what she would say. I can give you countless more examples, but…

Your comment definitely does not read like it is about future relationships at all but about this specific man's specific mother. "Do you get along with his mother ? If you do can you tell her you want a family and children? Is he close with her ? Moms have a lot of influence on their sons . And I know mothers want grandchildren . It’s a thing . If you’re looking to have a family expect a proposal and ring before you move in share that with his mom she will understand . You don’t need to tell he…

This does not seem to align with RPW values to me. Your suggestion is: instead of respecting a clear timeline her guy gave of engagement in early 2027 which is only months away, she should go behind his back, contact another woman, his mother, ask her to help manipulate and coerce the guy to speed up the engagement by only a few months under the premise of popping out a kid? Manipulation, coercion, using women against men, disrespecting men's wishes, none of that is RPW to me and it's a terrible…

This. If you think he could be lying then you probably don't want to marry him. Do you want to marry someone you believe is a liar and don't trust? That's wild.

🙄 you have zero respect for his wishes and it's a few months not years. Get a grip.

I highly suggest you find things other than his money that you like about him. You can also try to actually listen to his wants and needs, like if he says 2027, trying to hurry up a proposal by months or a year at the most is only going to make him resentful and hurt you didn't listen. I'm so so so so so so so so sick of seeing women in RPW acting like marriage is a get rich quick scheme. I am all for providers, stability, etc but golly girls there is more to a man than his wallet. Get a grip.

Also, my BFF is a single mom. Nothing makes me more grateful than seeing how hard she struggles. She live paycheck to paycheck. I sometimes send her money just to help make rent. She has two weeks in summer and one weekend a month "child free" but not really because her kids and/or ex husband are calling constantly. I am so fortunate that when a light quits working, I can afford to hire an electrician. I can get it fixed and not also worry about how to eat or live. It's an inconvenience for me, …

So few things, men operate on a different time table. For example, the light needs fixed in the kitchen. I say something to husband and he says he is on it. A week goes by. Another week. I'm convinced it won't happen. I ask about it and find out he has scheduled an electrician for three weeks after I asked. Just because he isn't doing it now or soon doesn't mean it isn't getting done or on his radar. Second, when it comes to nagging...I've been bagged before and it's awful. I ask myself, genuine…

This is the issue I have with opposite sex friendships. You're intentions may be platonic, but you can't guarantee that the other's person's intentions are platonic or will always be.

My relationship used to have a lot of disagreements but doesn't as much and when we do it's very civil and much of the reason is Laura Doyles book and podcast. In my case, much of it was me being controlling, trying to force my husband to have the same opinion as me, not accepting that it was okay we saw it different, thinking he was by default wrong and I was right, not pelicking my battles (for example why was I arguing with him about if a celeb is dead or not? It literally cost us nothing if …

It's over and it sounds like there's probably a lot more going on than he said. Those 'negative' things he cited about you are positives in someone else's book! My husband loves that I'm a homebody, that I'm not dramatic or spending loads of money for the newest fashionable clothes, likes that I'm not flashy and loud in public, that I have a quiet dignity and classic quality. I'm sorry this happened to you but I think in the long run it happened so you could find someone better for you who will …

If it were open for both partners or a situation in which you were both having sex with the girl, sure. It can work. But OP is said in comments it would be random hook ups during boys trips or similar because his friends all cheat on their wives without their wife's knowing. This sounds like a man wanting to act single with his friends not explore a woman sexually with his partner.

I haven't been in this situation because I have too much self-respect to accept those terms. I have been in an open relationship, in which both parties were allowed to sleep with other people and QUICKLY realized that I had no interested in a partner who was sleeping with others and that I had no desire to be in that kind of dynamic. I felt jealous constantly, when he wasn't in my presence, I was wondering what he was doing or who. I was self-conscious they were prettier or would steal him. I've…

It seems you have decided what you are going to do. I do not agree he is marriage minded. But there's really no point in continuing to talk with you about this as you have fully embraced whatever he has told you and are defending a man who isn't even your boyfriend, has made no commitment other than he is already saying he will sleep with other women. His can say he is marriage minded but his actions do not say this. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you are not hurt in this situation.

I suspect he isn't interested in marriage or a serious relationship if he is pre-planning hooking up with other women. In my opinion, If he is on a boys trip he should be hanging with his boys not chasing women. How long have you known him? It's easy to act right for a few weeks and tick off all the boxes for a week or two. But this is a huge one. Unless you are actually ok with him having sex with other women, don't do it. And why is it one sided? What other double standards will emerge? What e…

What do you want? If you want a partner who is committed to you, then it's not him and he is telling you right now. If you want a long term future with someone, then you don't want him. If you want a fuck buddy who can fuck whoever he wants and you can only fuck him. Then go for it.

Yeah. He isn't super into rock per se. To be frank, I'm not a huge Hendrix fan. But Hendrix was playing the state fair and he went when he was a teen. I moreso meant Hendrix as an example of his life experience adds value to me not detracts. He has experienced things I never will ...at least not in the same way. He was drafted into Vietnam so it really wasn't something he idolized but the point for me is moreso, he has experienced a variety of things and it seems to have driven him to really hav…

This post seems to assume RPW are a monolith and (I have not read the comments yet) hopefully the comments show there are many who date and marry men their age. That said, I am in a big age gap marriage for the past 9 years. I'm 39 and he is 73. I dated men my age, was even married to a guy my age and it ended in divorce in 4 years. I never was seeking an older partner. It just happened. And at least for my marriage, you got it wrong about what I desire as a woman from a partner. More physically…

Age gaps are not inherently a problem, especially when both parties are older (the difference between 30 and 40 isn't as big as 15 to 25). There's a lot of experience that occurs in the twenties and the experience gap is there. I mean if OP is based in the US....OP can't legally drink or rent a car. There are places BF can physically go that OP can't. Shes fresh out of highschool while BF could have reasonably complete a PhD. It's a gap of experience, not the age gap that I find concerning. I sh…

How long have you known him and What problems could you possibly be having? It's a huge red flag to have conflict in the first two or 4 months of dating like that. Edit to add: I curse and my husband of 9 years doesn't care. Feminity isnt a one size fits all thing...

You say he is pretty calm and it's early, but you also said that the issue is you "fighting against him" Respectfully, what could y'all possibly be in conflict about already? It sounds like he is wanting a doormat. There shouldn't be any training you at the dating stage, there shouldn't be any corrections at the dating phase, you click or don't.

For me, I wouldnt trust just his opinions and resources. You need to go out and seek your own. As a regular follower of redpillwomen and surrendered Wife subreddits, it's not about him molding his ideal woman or teaching us how to act...it's feels more like us recognizing that the typical advice given to modern women does not work and appreciating that men aren't evil. Here is kind of my story: I was a huge feminist till 2022 and at that time, I was 35, divorced, remarried, and my second marriag…

Hi, sweetie. As someone who lives this life, it's a huge huge huuuuuuuuge red flag for you to be learning about being submissive and obeying from a guy. If this is something that calls to you, you can learn it on your own or with female guidance. But I would NOT rely on a guy to teach you these things. What does he know about it? Is he the ideal woman? Bet not. But more importantly, you are setting up a situation from the start to possibly be manipulated and taken advantage of.

I hear you and know it's disappointing to put a lot of time and thought into a gift only for it to not be appreciated. I will say as others mentioned, if she explicitly said she isn't into you buying her lingerie and then you can't really be that surprised when she isn't into you buying her lingerie. However, something a lot of men don't understand is women can be very picky about specific items. I absolutely cannot, do not, will not accept bras, panties, purses, pajamas for this reason. And my …
