I have a woman co-worker who about 5 years ago had an "accident" at the work place (even tho she seems in stable health condition) and "hurt" her foot. It depends on your programming skills and preferences but with a lot of hard work and clear thinking it is definetly around 70,000 - 100,000. With a little luck and connections you can get a trainee job for half a year or something like that, than start working for the real money. For me (and i thing for most single men) this should be more than enough to keep you healthy and happy. Edit: After you get more experienced (1-2 years of working) you should definetly consider freelance too.
