Fair enough...

I have to give her credit for this insight: “I think the thing lacking in feminism is that women are making decisions for other women,” she said. “If the patriarchy is about men making decisions for women and taking away their agency, why do some feminists want to control other women’s decisions?” Most of the article is a TRP wet-dream (proud Women's Studies major ... too perfect), but this little tidbit was surprisingly lucid.

I'm not saying this is an unrealistic scenario (I have had a similar personal experience from the boyfriend's perspective), but it reads like a TRP cliche script. Especially given the recent popular posts documenting this phenomenon ... I'm thinking this is bait.

Forget the "did she or did she not sleep with him?" debate ... She chose to spend the night on that "couch" instead of calling you to come get her or taking a cab. She wanted to do so. She demonstrated unequivocally that she preferred to be there rather than be with you. End of story.

Thank you for this. This explanation clarified a vague notion I've had for a long time, but was never able to put into words quite so well (much like TRP when I first found it).

Also from the sidebar: a link to posts which are categorized as "Men's Rights" and which have curiously not been deleted by the mods if they don't belong here.

This isn't /r/seduction. TRP encompasses a lot more than sexual strategy.

Is this a joke?

You seem to be missing that fat, unemployed woman ≠ incredibly successful surgeon especially when it comes to their relative SMV.

I don't often enjoy content from O'Reilly or his show, but this was definitely an exception.

Says the user commenting in thread relating to a "no participation" link.

Not to be pedantic, but the "beat-up pussy" trope is one area where this whole "63 guys 1 time = 1 guy 63 times" actually holds weight.

After reading his post I figured he had to be a TRP reader. I was a bit shocked to see him react negatively when /u/socal83 referenced TRP farther down in the thread. Funny how resistant some people can be even when their life experiences point to TRP's validity.

While I agree sexual assault is not something to be taken lightly, I'm pretty sure you're in the wrong place if you think wishing sexual assault on people is acceptable.

I'm noticing a pattern where you power-bomb straw men when someone provides a verifiable counterargument.

I think what WSE is getting at is that to him (and others, including myself) TRP is much more about self-actualization rather than simply picking up women. Picking up women just tends to be a by-product of becoming the best man you can be. Your mileage may vary.

Taken from the "Meg Lanker-Simons is innocent" Facebook page: "Meg Lanker-Simons is innocent we believe what she did was justified and deserves not to be held accountable for her accusations we stand behind you sister." deserves not to be held accountable

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
