There are a lot of YouTube videos that can explain it better than I can in text. But an upward inflection in the way you talk makes what you say sound like a question. It's a turnoff for women because when you say something you come across as needy and are looking for approval with what you are saying. There are times when it's needed but a lot of men over do it.

It's a bit different now where people don't talk on the phone like they used to. Also a lot of spoofed phone calls these days and marketers so people have less patience on the phone. It could be a decent exercise as you can practice just drumming up conversation from no where but even if you are the most silver tongued person on the planet the chance of getting anything would be low.

The only difference is in your 30s you've probably has your heart broken a few times and are a bit less likely to put a woman on a pedestal. When you are 19 like you say there is no reason why you couldn't date anyone 17-21 or even older of you prefer. Plenty of women out there for you.. In your 30s there are a few other things to consider such as your friends settling down and not wanting to go out and do things, also women late 20s start getting paired off with a partner or start getting some …

I disagree about people skills. I can have a chat to anyone and get along well with most people. Talking and flirting with women is a completely different thing. I don't think a guy who can hold a conversation is attractive (I did it for years so I know) creating spikes and flirting is an essential skill if you want to get an attractive woman

I'm a mechanical engineer. Most women think I am a car mechanic when I say that. The term engineer has been watered down so much these days with so many people using the title. Unless you are a janitor a job title isn't suddenly going to get you women lining up around the block. We are a very educated society, a lot of people have degrees and qualifications. It's just something that helps but won't make a massive difference in my opinion

"Nice guys" is a bad word to describe it. It's like you said, not having a backbone, hiding behind a mask and saying what you think a person wants to hear. Men don't realise how easy it is to see through it. It's like talking to a used car salesman, you know they are bullshitting you and aren't genuine. You have to risk conflict through light teasing. It doesn't have to be mean, it can be something simple about how they eat or don't answer a question properly. Again teasing is probably not the b…

There is nothing wrong with polos. Problem is that they can look like shit if you don't care for them e.g. curled up or flat collar or washed out colours and iron marks on them. Depending on what brand you get, they tend to change shape as you wash them as well. I wear polos for work and in forever replacing them. Even more expensive brands have the same issues

Women are quite shy when you initially talk to them although they are very good at not showing it. I think a lot of guys do better with approaching than they think. If you've been dating for a while or in a relationship and they don't ask any questions about you, I wouldn't consider that head over heels, that's really odd. Most women can talk. Put them in a room together and they talk..

I go salsa dancing and there are plenty of older women there. You can flirt with them a lot and they really like it. Ive met 3 older women through that.

Most women's signals are not clear. I have no issue approaching anyone but make the signals clear and hold those signals for longer than expected. Or even try practicing them in the mirror, eg. Look away when he catches you looking at him. Watch a few videos for common signals and just hold them a bit longer so that it's obvious. I miss 95% of signals because a girl might only look at you for a fraction of a second. My friends who never approach pick them up for me though. Also it's good to watc…

Late mid to late 20s were a bad spot for me with girls. Most of my friends were either married or settling down so I rarely went anywhere but to family restaurants with them. After university my jobs have been in engineering which is 100% male when you aren't working in a city office. That period got me into upping my game and non conventional means of approaching women. So don't look at it as a bad thing. If circumstances aren't working for you, change them so that they are. I'm now 35 and gett…

I struggle with this as well. I've had it happen the other way as well where the girl is really keen and I am not. You can't control what they end up feeling about you. It could be a small thing or a big deal breaker for them, it's not worth dwelling on. Just ensure you are not wearing a mask and have confidence and conviction and how you conduct yourself. Of course you should also do an analysis of what you say and do and what topics you cover on that date as there are a few things that I'm sur…

You are who you socialise with most. Finding like minded people has helped me significantly. I've taken private dance classes this year and I've learned a lot on how to talk to women from him. He's been really good at showing me where women's boundaries are and has really got me out of my shell and more relaxed. Im not endorsing dance teachers as most are beta as fuck and too scared to look a woman in the eyes...

I find the opposite. A friend of mine calls me terminator because I always have my shoulders back and look so stiff. If I lower my shoulders I look more relaxed and do better. I don't think it was probably a more relaxed attitude when you were dancing that got you attention.

Depends where you are. Single women are always on the defensive so they can come across as rude. I always find confident women in relationships are the most kind since they dont get the attention as often. You dont know if theyve had a bad day, boyfriends just abused them or broken up with them, got the wrong coffee order, a bad nights sleep or heck even have the flu. There are so many things that effect mood and emotions in women so dont take it personally. Its a good thing to experience, the…

This isnt exclusive to women. Vast majority of men cant talk about anything other than work or what beer they like to drink. When a lot of men get married its even worse as buying a new power tool is all they can talk about. A lot of people live simple lives and all the power to them. I envy them when I have a lot on my plate. As for women though, youll find any of them that are somewhat attractive, street smart and well read quite often arent the type that go out and date too much (career wom…

And what's funny is they actively chastise dudes who actively go after women and try to get with them and criticize them and act all passive aggressive towards them when they just don't do shit and sit on their ass all day game and smoke weed. Look up the monkeys and ladder experiment. Its just the monkey brain of ours that keeps people down and stops people from doing things against the social norm. As for desire to get with women. There are a lot of reasons for that, the biggest one I beli…

Looks and being in shape only get your foot in the door. You might get a nice conversation if you are lucky. Keeping a girl around or doing anything else with her is all attitude and confidence.

My group of friends stopped doing that stuff when we were in our mid 20s. In the past few years since a couple of us are now single and we go out to a few bars/clubs on occasion and have enjoyed ourselves. We dont stay until the crack of dawn nor do we go there for women. Just to listen to music have a few drinks and people watch. My tastes have changed though. I much prefer going to a quiet bar where you can actually have a conversation or to a salsa night instead. Just more people my age to …

A simple thing to do is just say the opposite of what people expect when you get asked a question. Now that doesn't mean you say "I love Hitler" when someone asks you what you do for work. You should say something like I'm a "stay at home mum to a fur baby" or just something playful or silly. To be honest you just have to be comfortable putting yourself out there. It's so easy to put a filter on yourself and be quiet but as long as you say something in a playful tone with a smile you should be f…

There are so many definitions of feminist. I think everyone here just instantly thinks of the man hating blue haired Twitter nutjob but there are a lot of women that identify as feminist but are quite reasonable about it and don't hate men. I would just say no outrageously and laugh or say "what gives you the idea that I am?"

Get everything in order and get yourself in a good place before you start women. If you arent in a good mindset trying to attract a woman or even sleeping with a woman will be like trying do a high jump wearing a backpack full of bricks. I dont know your situation but you just have to change it. What you are doing is making you miserable so just change it. Cut off whatever is draining your money and time and begin to focus on yourself.

I couldnt care less what a girl does with her free time. Some women are making a great living out of showing a bit of skin and could easily set themselves up for life. Now if they are showing nudes I probably wouldnt consider dating or investing any time into them. I think everyone here overestimates how many girls are doing this though and everyones classifications of how much skin a girl shows to being a thot is different.

I often have the same issue. As long as youve been true authentic self and not worn a mask thats all you can do. The ball is in her court if she wants to continue to see you. 1.5-2 hours in my opinion is a lot for a first date. I know it can be easy to get swept up if they are a good conversationalist but I would aim for the half a hour to hour range. In 2 hours you would definetely be oversharing and she wont have as much desire to go on another long date and learn more about you. If this i…

There isnt one correct way of doing things. Everyone needs to develop their own style and you can only do that by practice and getting your heart broken a few times. I still suggest reading and listening to as many ideas and sources as you can though. You never know when you will get one of those lightbulb moments as Ive had them from the weirdest places. For example the part when James asks that secretary to show him around the island in Dr No just set off a row of dominoes in my brain on how t…
