There's a point that I've never heard anyone bring up, "feminist" or not. Even if a man was 100% safe compared to a bear, no woman wants to be forced to socialize with a stranger. A woman encountering an unknown person in the wild is going to be forced to socialize with them even briefly. There are enough men who will make it awkward and uncomfortable that a bear is preferable. If she's not friendly enough, she's a bitch. If she's too friendly, then the guy might think she's hitting on him. She …

Toxic masculinity is something a man demonstrates, not expectations placed on them. Different thing entirely. I think we'd agree that Andrew Tate (or insert your favorite douchbag here) displays toxic masculinity, no matter if people put expectations on him or not.

Toxic masculinity isn't misandry, why would you say that? Those are two different things

Can't find what clip you're talking about. My definition of "toxic masculinity" is men who think they have something to prove. That, almost by definition is rooted in insecurity. It's usually ridiculous, and making fun of it is a great way to call it out. But that's only men who have to prove they're tough, or alpha, or whatever. If she really is in favor of making ALL men insecure, I do want to hear about it.

I love Rife, caught onto him as he was taking off. But his jokes in that special honestly weren't funny - just rants. If you like Bill Burr then maybe you would have liked his jokes. I think Bill Burr sucks.

Exactly so. Men aren't perfect. Young men are still figuring themselves out. If they're attacked instead of gently corrected, we can expect them to turn to the folks that don't attack them. The polarization is coming from both sides, even if one side is more problematic.

What the hell are you talking about? Here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/news/comments/1j77q2u/two_arrested_over_gangrape_of_israeli_tourist_and/ They threw three men in a canal, one of whom died, just so they could rape. India definitely has a rape culture. After this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Delhi_gang_rape_and_murder there was an article here on Reddit victim blaming. The rapist said it was her fault she was killed, she shouldn't have resisted. Also, she wasn't alone, she…

K. I just wrote a long thing about what I do, but that wasn't the question. It's about how to improve. So I'll answer that. So day before yesterday I was talking with my son about sex. I had given him a bit of advice when he was 17, he's 20 now. I think I gave him "She Comes First" way back then, haven't seen it since. I'm getting rid of some more books so I gave him "I <3 Female Orgasm" and we talked a bit. I'm proud of him, he's a sweet guy, treats women with respect, is a great boyfriend and …

It was painless and yes she used a laser. My balls were smoking, which I found hilarious.

You're very welcome. Be careful though, you have to consider the current level of comfort with things sexual.

Don't go into "fix" mode when someone is venting. Lots of times people know exactly what they need to do, but just want to vent. In that case STFU. Maybe, just maybe when the conversation is winding down ASK (don't tell) if they thought about [whatever x solution you have to suggest]. Take rejection gracefully. One of my proudest moments with my son is when he asked a girl out... and she rejected him. Was proud he asked, and also how he handled it. They even ended up dating later because she was…

Agreed! I'm also planning on sticking something like this in ManTrainingManual.com (nothing is there yet, see https://www.reddit.com/r/AskFDS/comments/h8z7w3/mantrainingmanualcom_what_should_i_do_with_it/)

Downvoted because I didn't realize it was a joke the first few sentences. Upvoted after I got the joke. Definitely the way to go /s

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
