Hey OP, I was in the same position as you awhile back. Read Conquer Your Campus. Since ur going back to college in January, that makes it even better. It gives tangible and concrete actions for you to take. It builds upon and goes beyond the stuff you'll find in How To Make Friends and Influence People. It's comprehensive in how to be an interesting person that naturally attracts people, the person that people call to see what's going on.
