Business owning man here. I own a business because I’m not smart. You have to be really smart to get through hiring filters for good jobs, smarter and more educated than you have to be to do the work of those jobs. Business owners are plumbers, welders, pressure washers, mobile car detailers, guys who dropship cheap Chinese crap online, ex-cons who can’t get a job, it’s not all genius wonder boys. A man might choose a woman you consider ugly because looks are subjective and he finds her attracti…

No. The million today is the man who already has his shit together and is successful. He’s already crossed the finish line. Women aren’t taking a risk that he won’t grow into the man they want by choosing him today, because he’s already the man she wants. She’s getting her guaranteed million today by picking him. I’d wager that the percentage of men in this subreddit who can’t support themselves or can’t support themselves and a partner is probably pretty damn high.

If it’s happening within a year or two then it’s hardly potential. If you’re only a year or two out from being a totally different person with totally different circumstances then the reality is there should already be a lot of improvement and growth that is obvious. And if the change in that “potential” is less significant than that then they better already like you for who you are right now, because not much is going to actually change about you. Like the examples someone else gave: If you’re …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
