I'm glad that men feel open enough to talk about actual issues. Vastly different experiences because in my observations whenever men come to this subreddit or in their own spaces the only male issues they bring up are: dating is hard, hookups are hard, men have no say abortions and have to pay (even though terminating parental rights exist), and the draft. I hope you were able to support the men who talked about the violence and crimes they've had committed against them by partners.

I don't think it's dishonest framing considering data shows women are unhappier when they're in a relationship. The data shows there's basically no advantage besides social approval of being claimed by a guy. Coupled women have less savings as women's earnings tend to go towards the household while coupled men's earnings go towards his savings. Coupled women tend to have less free time while coupled men have more free time since she does most of the chores. Coupled women tend to have more stress…

I think that's the issue for men they don't really see the quality of the relationships or the quality of sex all they see is that women can get sex or relationships easily. It doesn't matter that it's with an abusive man, shitty man, or the sex is painful or non-orgasmic. And these aspects probably never even cross their mind because I find for a lot of men they seem to think most men are amazing perfect angels. Never mind the fact that women are often under threats when a man is attracted to h…

I think disingenuous apologies is the only apology men can offer for their shitty behavior. Very few men can give elsincere apologies where they acknowledge the damage because it would mean admitting he is a shitty person when they want to frame it as a bad mistake but he's really a good guy

Men aren’t blamed equally for cheating—if they were, we wouldn’t still hear the narrative that women must “put out” or else deserve to be cheated on because “he has needs.” Until recently, cheating by men was normalized, with mistresses and even second families. The logic that women’s cheating is a “deeper betrayal” because they’re seen as the more controlled gender is absurd. Cheating is cheating, regardless of who does it. You can’t claim women’s cheating is worse while also saying men are unf…

Unsuccessful men often lack looks, status, wealth, or personality. Women usually give the simplest advice: work on your personality—because you can’t be failing in every area and still expect your dream woman. With a decent personality, most men can attract women, though not always the exact type they want. Incel complaints usually boil down to not getting barely-legal, supermodel-tier women. Many even call beautiful celebrities “mid.” Society isn't gaslighting incels rather incels are living un…

Men don't see emotional labor because they see being with a woman as labor itself. Very few men actually like, value, and respect women and even less are capable of loving women. For me in a relationship is like a job in sex is the paycheck they see being with a woman as a hassle slush obstacle / burden they have to. Thus emotional labor doesn't make sense to them because to them being with a woman is bothersome labor itself. Men aren't joking when they complain about women talking stating its n…

It actually shows men take for more than they give since they're only relying on one person for emotional support and therapy while women have family, friends, and usually a therapist. There's a reason why data men are seven times more likely to leave their sick wives because then he's placed in a caretaking position. Men are used to caring about anyone other than themselves. There's a reason why most relationships are women paying half the bills and still doing all / most childcare and chores. …

Relationships, sex, and interaction with women aren't a reward. That's objectifying women and seeing them as a resource / property to be doled out based on men's behavior. Rather than seeing sex as a mutual consensual activity done out of Attraction and relationships as mutual compatibility. Shitty people can be attractive and engaging in relationships. But their dating pool will be small and the less attractive the are the smaller it will be. A shitty attractive man will have a small dating poo…

Most men want to be heinous to women. There's a reason why in mail hierarchy the nice guy is being the lowest on the totem pole. Men create new insults for any man that is halfway decent towards women: simp, mangina, theta, cuck, etc. men do not like being nice to women they see it as somehow losing their masculinity and being disrespected. Men also think that if they see a shitty attractive man who has sex or is in a relationship that means I'm being shitty doesn't stop a man from having sex or…

Guys I just feel like I had it and threw it away. So focus on making sure you never revert to that. You were emotionally abusive and didn't support her enough of the kids yet for some reason you seem shocked she didn't stay in that dynamic. Men encourage each other to leave when they're disrespected yet for some reason many men expect women to stay in disrespectful relationships. Men encourage each other to leave When his dick isn't happy be it I'm not having kinky sex, him not having blowjobs, …

Thank you It is so weird to me that everyone in this comment section seems to be coddling him and acting as if he's some poor victim because he's a man and the courts are oh so evil against men. He's struggling taking care of his kids suggesting he rarely took care of his kids before and was likely the fun dad. He's struggling parenting because his job literally has him out of the house and he even references as that being an issue that caused his divorce. But it must be the evil feminist judge …

The bar is very low for men and considering she stayed with him throughout all of that he likely doesn't have to win her back. He just has to tell her she wants her back. This woman does not seem to have much self-respect. But then again hetero relationship seem to mostly be about women taking disrespect, trauma, mistreatment as proof of her love and how she'll stand by him no matter how badly he treats her 🫤 Mail commenters can download as much as they want but I can bet not too many men would …

Do not tell this woman. Let her heal from the trauma you inflicted on her. Good for you that you still have your job after a DUI. Awesome for you that you just had to do rehab. But now is the time to think of her. You have an addiction. One you faced no consequences for despite harming your ex wife, injuring your child, and risking everyone's life on the road. The divorce is not a consequence to me because you seem to think you can just tell her you miss her and everything goes back to how you w…

To each their own opinion. I find women tend to grow up held accountable for not only their actions but men's actions especially what men do to her. Guy freaks out during rejection somehow it's her fault. Guy assaults her it's her fault for what she was drinking, wearing or being out. Usually women being accountable isn't even about their own actions but what men do. There's a reason multiple studies show that women tend to apologize for her actions far more than men apologize for his actions. I…

I could have just painted myself as simply a victim rather than an active participant in the deterioration of our relationship. I didn’t. In my opinion you painted yourself as a victim who did shitty things because of his ex-wife. I’ve also had couples therapy where my wife acknowledged her emotional abuse, vow to make a change, and then continue the same behavior. This doesn't really change anything for me as most professional state not to go to couples therapy with an abuser or manipulative pe…

Doing that You're a cheater and you seek external validation from others You may not be the most reliable narrator on your ex's flaws. I find a lot of cheaters will try to blame others for their behaviors or try to downplay their actions by shitting on their partners. You might be exaggerating or portraying things to fit that you were a man who acted from hurt rather than you did shitty things because you were shitty at the time. I find a lot of men see themselves at these unsung tragic heroes s…

Your neighbor denying her ex child custody is weird. Unless there's some details you don't know. More than likely in my opinion she just did it for the child support money. What's really weird to me is how you seem to be so in depth in her life such as knowing her camera roll and everything. It's like your living through this woman and judging her.🤨 However I don't think it's hypocrisy to have sole custody and to get a babysitter. I mean having sole custody doesn't mean you no longer have a life…

Divorce doesn't need tactics and women claiming domestic violence gets worse treatment. Stats show domestic violence convictions and even child abuse convictions do not hinder A man's child custody in courts. If anything a woman bringing it up hurts her in child custody. A huge number of men don't think they're abusers. Countless men freak out when a random man's flaws are pointed out...men aren't going to perceive their own flaws too well. Heck convicted male rapists and murderers with evidence…

Don't blame your wife for your heart issues. That's a new level of unhinged. Your wife was either always physically unaffectionate or became that way in the relationship. If she was always like that it's suited for you to prioritize physical affectionate in future relationships so you don't have a repeat. If she became unaffectionate and you can pinpoint the frequency of sex you can pinpoint when the physical touching stopped. Perhaps reflect on that period. Perhaps her monthly offer of sex sole…

My advice is to seek therapy to address your trauma of your dad leaving home. Then to realize you are leaving your wife not your kids. Unless you plan to be a deadbeat or start a new family ignoring your first kids...you are not your father. And last your boys are better off with two happy parents than seeing and modeling a shitty marriage with unhappy parents. If the majority of this pain truly comes from feeling like you failed your sons...how much time have you spent with them vs wallowing in…

I would think indifference would be better as it's not unhealthy and negative. It felt so good to politely call her out on her bull shit. What bullshit did you call her out on? She told you she was indifferent to you and you told her that hurt you. I don't get what bullshit was called out. I could see you calling her out on her bullshit if her feeling indifferent wasn't untrue and you called her out proving her wrong. What help are you offering her? You two should be handling your own things. If…

I like to see how men handle divorce. I also like to see how women handle divorce. And for men it seems to be most victimizing and pity parties with immense hostility tto anything not coddling him and portraying him as the tragic wronged hero🤔 Bit weird such hostility over they're both better off and it's telling he called her a bitch. So that simple conclusion from me is somehow: Torrent of blame Telling him he's grieving wrong

Me: Statistics show men generally do not split chores and children You: Lesbians divorce more. Are you okay? Number 1 cause of lesbian divorce is dead bedrooms Number 1 cause of heterosexual divorce is domestic abuse against a woman. Divorce rate isn't much to go on. Perhaps try the reasons for the divorce.🫤 Unsure why you're asking me if we blame men for higher lesbian divorce rates. Again are you okay?

I never said I was holding anyone accountable so weird to tell me this. The only replies I see are support. Heck even mine is supportive as I stare they're both better off.🤔 I never saw a deleted thread from him so I am usure where this hundreds of replies like mine is from. You have quite the low bar to think it's a torrent of blame to say it's telling he called her a bitch and they're both better off. 😮 This is why I saw men hate acknowledging flaws because y'all seem unhinged at even the slig…

In my book it's not helpful to be a delusional blameless victim who throws a pity party. And reinforcing that will ensure he never gets to the place where a divorce was best for both rather To each their own way. I'm well aware countless men rarely respond to acknowledging accountability and flaws heck so many men they freak out when even a random male stranger he doesn't know is being held accountable.

Unhinged manipulative liars don't rest they find a new victim. You need to be 100% sure your family truly believes you and won't give out information. Try getting a protective order and scrubbing your social media...maybe don't even have it. Hopefully you got a new phone number.

They’re told they deserve happiness and it’s all about their own selfishness. This is very odd to me to view it as being selfish for a woman to want to be happy in her relationship.🫤 I can see inklings of why your stbxw is claiming emotional abuse. And unless you have 50/50 child custody it's really weird you seem so antagonized about paying for your own kids.. as if it's some slight against her independence or strength to have the father of his kids financially there for his kids.

I don't see a reason to tell him he's grieving wrong. Unsure why you stated this as I never said he was grieving wrong. I simply said the end was best for both of them, that him calling her a bitch was telling, and it's weird to me he called her abusive for being nice at the dinner before ending things.🤔 It seems you're really reaching to victimize him as if I am telling him how he should grieve rather than taking his actions he wrote himself and replying to them while saying both are better off…

Those statistics are surveys where men and women fill out their chores and observers watch and ask questions. The statistics also include roommate situations. When men room together they know how to do chores yet when a woman rooms with men suddenly she has extra workload. The stats that show when men share a household with men free time is equal yet when men share a household with women the men's free time is usually twice as much as the woman. Men subscribe being a woman as domestic and chores…

A very broad brush that is statistically true.🫡 I never said all so you pointing out you're an individual exception doesn't counter anything. It's statistical fact that men generally initiate asking out. It's not a very broad brush to say that. Just because the data is unpleasant doesn't make it a very broad brush in an unfair sense. There's a reason chores are #4 cause of divorces initiated by women.

I got the sense the missing items were her doing a slow move out. It's something lots of women do in abusive reactions where they slowly move their things out so the partner doesn't notice too much. The program seems to be a mental health thing from what I gathered. If it is addiction I doubt he has to hear the brunt of her decisions as it doesn't seem like he was too tuned into their relationship or her anyways.

He seemed to be in a better place going by his comments of his income improving. His 'support' seems only financial. But either way supporting your partner is what you do in a relationship. The person ending the relationship doesn't necessarily equating to using them. Maybe OP shouldn't have relationships if he thinks once he is dumped he has been used. Casual relationship exist for people like him. I highly doubt everything in their relationship was perfect and they never once argued or disagre…

I don't think it's a sense of duty. Because statistics show men generally do not do half of the child care or household chores and that's the barest minimum. So I'm not sure what duty they're doing. By statistics a marriage for a man is him getting someone to pay half the bills, do most of the child care, and do most of the household chores with the bonus of likely having more sex than he would single. I'm thinking a lot of men stay due to the financial fallout as divorce is the only benefit to …

Sounds everything went great for you both and you're both in a better happier place. I'm unsure why you seem so angry at her. The fact you called her bitch for wanting to leave an unhappy relationship is telling. Then you cancel a medical appointment screams vindicative and petty. She ended things pretty nicely. No screaming. No fighting. Had coffee and dinner and a pleasant evening. Yet oddly enough you called her abusive for being nice to you by smiling and asking you to order dinner before en…

Men are not interested in hearing what women want. Men just want justifications to be the type of men they envy. Notice how no matter what a man claims he wants- love, marriage, intimacy, relationships...his perfect 'partner' is usually a servant he can abuse and control that proves how many he is to other men Men want to be toxic while finding a way to blame women for it. That way they can feel like the good guys. Akin to how incels salivate over mass murderers yet think he's the downtrodden vi…

Giving someone flowers is not unconditional love otherwise most florist and gardeners would be seen as giving unconditional love. You're likely not giving any of your partners unconditional love if you have any condition for someone to be your girlfriend or wife. And most likely the number one condition is that you find her attractive... I imagine if you ever stop finding her attractive you would leave her. Women being 'in demand' didn't make men care about women or their feelings. Women's feelings are mocked, ridiculed, and downplayed as tantrums, oversensitive, exaggerating or lying. So I don't know why you think men not being 'in demand' means women wouldn't care about them.🤔 People care about others based on their relationship with them. Not their desire to fuck them. Countless men will fuck women they hate or don't know the names of. Being in demand to a man is essentially meaningless in terms…

Can you imagine if men completely disguised their appearance, then proceeded to demand supermodels based on a fake face? I don't need to imagine. Ugly and average men demand attractive women constantly. The general male dating advice is how to get a hot woman. Male dating success stories are based on how hot the woman is. Men aren't in having hope when they find an ugly guy with an ugly girl who loves him...they see it as a success when an ugly guy has a hot girl who loves him. Men already see t…

At the liberals keep it fair and equal no hypocrisy or double standards. Cheating has been normalized and ingrained for men for centuries upon centuries ala mistresses or strip clubs at bachelor parties. Porn is basically watching explicit videos and pics of countless women and that's normalized for men. I'm fine with the liberal sex positive community normalizing women staying out with no permission or talking to male coworkers...because at least things are fair now.
