Last time on Tinder with a few professional photos: Mass right swiped 3000 girls (I right swiped ALL girls no matter how they looked) on a free plan. I got some 10 matches. 2-3 started a convo with me that all ended rather quickly. No dates. Harsh reality.

Well, it's a book recommended by many redditors in this sub so it can't be that bad :-)

BTW: Look into Mark Mansons book: "Models"

Look at your situation from the positive side: A large number of men in society never had a relationship at all, never had a hookup at all, don't have female friends at all. Although you are in treatment, I think your background for learning seduction is great.

Rio: Wait a minute, I thought guys were flocking away from US/Europe to Brazil because the girls are MUCH more open and flirty in the streets. That there is a different energy welcoming approaching. You describe a scenario that is equally tough as the West - only after approaching it becomes easier.

That you stayed in a hostel non stop for 6 months is a brilliant idea and investment very few would consider. Thumbs up. Can you elaborate more on the toxic 6 year relationship before you started this journey?

If you really want a book try to look for "Models" by Mark Manson.

If I were you, I would hang out with your female friends AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. You are one lucky motherfucker that you have female friends. Make it your priority to get as many female friends as possible. Their presence will desensitize you and your self esteem will slowly build. There is no quick fix for self esteem. Do not read books and watch yt.

Do you feel that all the advice you are getting, all the books you are reading, all the videos you are watching have no effect?

So how exactly do you try to help him? With concrete examples.

I don't have fear of rejection. I simply don't care. But for me it's shameful to approach a girl. It's shameful to just say "Hi" because it reveals you are romantically and sexually interested in her. If I could switch my shame for fear of rejection I would be the happiest guy in the World :-).

I am just like you, so you are not alone. If there is a legitimate reason to talk to a girl (like paying for a bread) its all OK. But if you want to talk to a girl with no legitimate reason it becomes shameful because you display sexual interest in her - its shameful to show romantic feelings in a girl. These views often originate from some negative experiences in childhood. Shame is programmed into your subconscious mind - you cannot talk your way out of shame with affirmations or telling yours…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
