They don’t see their kids AND don’t pay child support because “She spends it all on herself!” 🙄😠

There are tests that insurance will pay for that simply check your fertility. It’s not the same as fertility treatments which are expensive. If she doesn’t have insurance and can’t pay out of pocket should she really be trying to have a kid?

I have no idea what the situation with your sister was. Laws and rights are different in different states. I personally wouldn’t want to risk my kids life with a vengeful LV scrote but different strokes…

Cops will tell her, in front of him, that she can’t kick him out, he needs to be evicted. Imagine his shit eating grin at that point. Then it becomes a War of the Roses situation. She needs to plan quietly, see a lawyer about custody/ child support and then start eviction process. The most dangerous time is the ending of the relationship even if he’s never laid a hand on her. I’d get a male family member to move in during this time.

He could take the kids and go without a court ordered custody arrangement though if he gets pissed off about being evicted. I’d get all my ducks in a row. Custody/child support and then eviction. Be sweet as pie while doing it behind the scenes. Agree with another commenter also to take all expensive furnishings/electronics out (tell him you’re going minimalist and you donated it all) Definitely wouldn’t be cooking or cleaning for him at all, stop buying groceries for him or paying for any enter…

Exactly. If *I ask someone out, I’m paying date or friend, doesn’t matter. The asker pays. Manners.

This. It’s about sex for them especially on Tinder. He’s not going to spend more on a woman than he would pay a prostitute.

Tell me you are bad in bed a without telling me you are bad in bed. If these pathetic losers spent half as much time really trying to know their partner and pleasing them as they do sulking and cheating, they’d be having mind blowing sex on the regular.

Please encourage her to get counseling to help with healing and build her self esteem up. People don’t understand how women get into these relationships, it starts with shitty parents who abuse you.

My money is on he gets her to do what he wants after breaking her down with his petulance and making her feel like a prude/Boring Betty in danger of being cheated on, then is disgusted by her. They are assholes and it doesn’t matter what you do.

I’m assuming if she REALLY wants another child she will talk to her doctor/gyno about her fertility and get some tests done where she finds out it’s not her issue, then she will ask him to get tested…Either he confesses then and it’s over for them as a couple or he keeps lying to her until the relationship deteriorates anyway because she is not happy. What a fool, they really don’t like or care about the women they supposedly love.

If you are not having a good time on a dinner date, you can just be honest and say you’re not feeling it, leave then block/delete or fake a sudden illness or excuse yourself to the rest room and escape out the back door if he’s a real ass. Just because you accept a date it’s not a hostage situation.

Same here. I just opted out in my 50’s. My younger sister is doing the lions share of caretaking but she’s a raging narcissist also. No regrets. You really do reap what you’ve sown.

Took my daughter out of 6th grade to homeschool when her male table mates spent class time “rating” all the women, even the elderly teacher! My daughter had to sit there and listen. Teacher and counselor did nothing but have a “talk” with the boys 🙄 Behavior continued….nope! She went back half days in 8th grade and then on to high school and college. Is an amazing fiercely intelligent feminist Queen!

I would tell him not to worry, “I lost the baby”, block and delete and live free. This man could actually harm her and her baby if she tries to make him pay.

Same for me. He studied me like a book, hung on my every word, complimented me on how caring and smart I was and what a great mom I was. But there were red flags, it was all too intense too soon. They move things along very quickly so you barely have a chance to catch your breath, it’s a whirlwind meant to keep you off balance. I had never been in a relationship like that, he was MUCH younger (never again!) so I thought it was more about his generation, thought he was SO mature and sensitive but…

But…is he willing to fulfill YOUR needs? Does he; Get a friend/relative to take the kids for a weekend? Draw you a bath? Prepare you a beautiful candlelit meal and clean up afterward? Give you a massage with oils- NO EXPECTATION of sex? Take on his share of household duties? Does he work on his technique and appearance FOR YOU? You’re likely exhausted from caretaking and running a household, and possibly dealing with postpartum hormonal issues. Sex is about more than the physical act. He needs t…

She was looking gorgeous and he is insecure. Of course he stayed home, he’s a controlling NV scrote. I’m praying she leaves him, before they get married. 😔

I think the advice in The Gift of Fear is actually not to change your number? Sometimes that triggers the psycho to escalate if they feel they can’t reach you. I could be misremembering… time for a re- read!

The Gift of Fear 🙏 Listen to your instincts, never talk yourself out of them. Your brain picks up on things without you really noticing and sends the signal to your gut brain to give you feelings of unease. So glad you did everything right and kept yourself safe ♥️

Agree with everything you said. I just thought it was interesting that even though he seems open to learning, it’s just dismissed as taking too long and he must be rescued. I highly doubt he’ll ever learn to cook unless he really wants to if someone else keeps taking care of him. Most likely scenario is he re-marries within a year or moves in with DIL.

Don’t misunderstand, he is a typical scrote who couldn’t be bothered to learn a few basic meals when his wife was alive. DIL should’ve said, “that’s wonderful that you want to learn, invite us over for a meal when you’ve mastered something!” The rest of the post was about which meal planning service to use, so I’m not sure what other info your referring to?

Always laugh loudly and hang up. Same for dudes who expose themselves to you, take your phone out to get a pic while laughing maniacally, they will literally cry and run away. Back in the 80’s, I worked in fast food, graveyard shift when I was 17-18, used to be a regular guy who came through the drive-through naked, I was shocked the first time but the next time I just busted out laughing because it was so ridiculous. He got so mad he never came back because he didn’t get the reaction he wanted.…

He did express an interest in learning to cook though, the ready made meals should be an in between while he takes cooking lessons. The DIL is the one infantilizing him.

I’m estranged from my family of origin, older brother happened decades ago but most recently I’ve had to remove myself from elderly parents and other siblings. I have 3 adult children who I am close with, 2 of whom are actually living with me currently due to the post Covid world. I’ve never felt like I belonged in that toxic family of origin and have created my sense of home around my children. That said, there was a period of time I was truly alone and creating new holiday traditions and littl…

I think some women think having that baby will force his hand, it used to be called a shot gun wedding… then when he doesn’t propose and they are basically common law, they have that second baby thinking, ok, now he’ll definitely make it official. She should book a date at the court house and drag his ass down there just for her/ her children’s legal protection and then start saving her money…this guy might have children with other women.

I think there is a statistic about marriages not lasting but a few years if the couple was cohabiting for a long period of time before hand. Likely because the dude only proposed after an ultimatum. If he wanted to, he would’ve.

We need to set up an abortion fund/endowment project for all women who need it. I’d pay into that monthly. Maybe hire advocates to schedule appointments and transportation, coordinate childcare while she’s away and accompany them to aftercare appointments at local planned parenthoods. Of course we’d call it some kind of “mental health program”. We cannot keep playing by their rules, we are meant to lose that game. Let’s start a new type of Underground Railroad system where we don’t talk about it…

Rather than the fake phone call that every guy knows about, if this is strictly to get out of the date safely, excuse yourself to the restroom, hang out a good while, then go back and tell him you are so sorry but you’re not feeling well and need to get home. Then block and delete.

You really need to look at what you’re really afraid of. Being alone? What is so frightening about it? Break that down with your therapist. You need to cultivate a strong loving relationship with you before you try to bring other people into your life. When you are that desperate for connection you end up turning healthy people off and become a magnet for users/abusers. Start journaling, learn a new art form or craft, read all the books recommended here. Fix up your home, redecorate to your tast…

I’d wager a bet that he’s not actually sober. When I put my foot down with my alcoholic about his drinking he claimed he quit and started sneak drinking. Of course, eventually you find out and the betrayals start to stack up. I had 3 kids with him. They have suffered the most. All adults now, still dealing with that trauma. His alcoholism ruined our finances, our relationship and our little family and put him in an early grave from cirrhosis. Horrible way to go. If I could go back in time, I’d r…

Simply move in between them and say “hey sis, (or “honey”, I’m old enough to be the mom or gma in this scenario) there’s nothing good here, let’s go get coffee” or something like that, completely ignore him like you didn’t hear or see him. Focus on her and start moving away. If he says anything just keep walking to the front of the store and keep recording… if he gets abusive ask store personnel to call 911 while you keep recording. We have to protect each other.
