I’m not sure your argument here. Would you trade all that to be a woman in a Muslim country where you can get stoned to death just for dancing?

Then I would move to the U.K.?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 04:41 PM

Yep partly because I live in the U.K. but mostly because the rate in which murder happens randomly is significantly small, mugging and assault isn’t nearly as invasive as rape and I can say every woman I know has experienced some form of sexual abuse, most the men I know haven’t experienced random assault/mugging so the odds are better. I don’t own a car and I’m not dumb enough to advertise my wealth to impress a bunch of strangers 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yep. I’m not saying men have it easy but outside of relationships life is typically smoother for them. No mass fear of rape, no worrying about drink being spiked, no judgement for what you wear, no worrying about an insane beauty standard and having to spend tons of money on crap just to look feminine. Shaving would be a pain in the ass but At least my facial hair wouldn’t be treated as an ugly abomination 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s easier to be heard and taken seriously as long as you are prepared to be assert…

I don’t think that benefits are a real motivation for cheating? Maybe with men who like to stay with their partners but when a woman cheats it’s usually either revenge or a door way out of the relationship. Occasionally a stupid mistake I guess. I’m not exactly an expert on the subject but in my experience men can cheat on a partner and stay with them which is why polygamy is so popular with men where as women women typically leave their partner after time for the new guy. People dismiss this as…

Mostly because I loved him but also because part of me wanted to hurt him back and that was all I had. Like I said I was young and immature, a weird part of me wanted to be with him while the other part felt used. Not sure why people are so fascinated by this.

Depends on if you are looking for sex and a relationship. Men do this too in my experience. Sleep with him right away if that’s all you want because as women we are told we won’t get an opportunity for anything more if we do Wait if you want commitment to help you find out how serious his intentions are I guess it’s a vetting strategy
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 03:16 PM

Not particularly. My main issue was believing he was cheating on me so I may as well cheat on him I guess. He got a tattoo dedicated to a female friend of his and in my head there was no question that he wanted her more. I already knew he had a mad crush on her and felt like I had been his second choice anyway. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ah I see. I should give up the future I want because he is so special so I should just stick with it despite having done so for 5 years I clearly gave up to soon 🤦‍♀️ Would you honestly give that advice to a man? I’m not going to be miserable because you have some outdated belief that women should give up their happiness for a man. No thanks I would sooner be alone. Particularly when the world is full of ambitious men who can stand on their own two feet and don’t want their girlfriend to be a se…

What? That was a general statement. I left him with intention of finding some one else sure, most people do. No I don’t think men are so special that they are irreplaceable anymore than I think that of women. Hate all you want but in reality ex’s leave because they aren’t happy and fully intend to find what makes them happy.

Not my future, his future which would have become our future in which your right I didn’t want to carry some lazy asshat through life and be his second mother. He was happy to spend his money on me on pointless shit that amounted to nothing. If I was the type of girl to give a shit about clothes and make up I might have used him for it. I wasn’t interested. I was goal oriented and he wasn’t. I wanted to do things with my life and see the world. He wouldn’t even take himself on holiday because ‘t…

Not having a job was his choice, I’m saying he was completely unambitious and content to do nothing with his life. He wouldn’t even get his own place even though he had the money to buy a house outright because it was easier to sit on his ass and have his mum cook and clean for him

My insecurities made me believe firstly that there is no way my relationship could end in marriage and children, that he was going to cheat and hurt me so I had to beat him to it, that he was to good for me/not good enough for me (my friends and family had mixed opinions that made me doubt my feelings and his actions) and the final push was that a guy gave me the sort of attention that I wasn’t used too that made me think I could be sexy in some peoples eyes. Yep, also earns more than me. Also cheating isnt any better than hypergamy. And hypergamy isn’t real. If a woman left you it doesn’t mean it’s hypergamy in the sense that you all use it. She either leaves because she thinks she can do better or because she is better off alone. What a woman deems as better is what trp often fucks up. She’s not leaving a good man because there is a better one around the corner. She is leaving a bad man for a good one. Hypergamy is just a cope for bad men who don’t…

I’m a woman and I’m far from perfect I’m easily made jealous and insecure. I need to be reassured regularly without being suffocated. I will constantly question if my partner really loves me or is just using me. I’ve cheated on a partner in the past for no other reason than my own insecurities. There. Now go find me a woman who won’t admit to that. The problem isn’t that we are perfect angels but that you expect us to be. The things you claim we lie about either doesn’t apply to us or applies to…

I haven’t had a bf in a year and a half, and 3 before that. I am making no attempts to find some one. I wasn’t with him for his money and in hind sight I have no idea why I stayed so long other than thinking no one else would have me. I’m really not sure why your still carrying on over this as I already pointed out sex drive doesn’t equal attraction and I only quickly googled what it was. Lupron is the more common chemical castration drug as it lowers testosterone and prevents erections. Not wrong to spend £100,000 in a year on motorbikes? Baring in mind I’m from the U.K. where the average yearly wage is £20,000 most people in the U.K. will never have that kind of money to just splurge. I mean yeah it’s his money so he can do whatever but why the fuck would I or any woman want to be with a man child who has zero ambition, zero desire to take risks and zero desire to have a job? Right it must always be a woman’s fault. I’m talking about investing in buying his own property or a business start up. Instead he kept buying useless tat with his money (sword replicas, motorbikes etc) things that would hold no value ten years down the line and not just enough to amuse himself but stupid amounts, he went through six motorbikes in a year and also kept four on the road so he could pick which one he went to work on. I don’t understand how you drew that conclusion from that thread. Women are literally talking about how they dated well off career men who had money and exciting lives and just didn’t feel the right connection too 🤔 I think it’s more tied to the differences of men and women rather than something financial. Men don’t have as much trouble getting aroused and feeling sexual as women do. It’s rare you meet a woman who can’t warm your engine in some way where as it’s common for women to experience th…

I was with a guy with money but zero ambition. Didn’t want to apply it to anything, invest in anything or start his own business. Was just happy living a lazy life on top of his pot of money. Dumped his ass and never regretted it. Ambition is worth 1000x more than money is. He may never become a rich man but you’ll have an exciting life filled with goals and obstacles. The highs will feel like true achievements because of a sense of earning it. Not going to act like being poor is an attractive t…

So I had to google it and it seems it’s main function is not chemical castrations and is used to treat endometriosis and prevent pregnancy? however chemical castrations stop the ability not the urge. Also A lack of sex drive is not the same as sexual attraction, you can still be attracted too and want to date someone even if your sex drive is non existent. Gay men disagree. We live in a society where males are expected to act like society’s expectation of men and femininity is considered weakness. Similarly you are incorrectly taught that women are only ever attracted to behaviours deemed male. Since high levels of self care are deemed feminine most western men keep away from it solely because they don’t think it’s attractive to women and care what other Cis men will think of them. It has nothing to do with what women are attracted to and everythi…

Your kidding right. Women don’t get as much out of relationships as men do, we are rarely ever so lonely and desperate that we ‘need’ a man so why then would we settle? To cook clean and provide sex for a guy who gives us nothing in return? I don’t call that hypergamy and if it is then aren’t men of the same mindset. How many men will date women who don’t want sex? The difference is no matter what she looks like she can give sex to men and men simply can’t go without like women can. If men didn’…

But it’s women who get the divorce not men. Also women still wore make up 70 years ago in fact beauty standards were worse back then because to not wear make up and dress feminine was basically a crime. Also just because you are repulsed by overweight people doesn’t mean everyone is. Go to an art gallery sometime, how often do you see a skinny woman depicted in famous paintings. They are all size 12-16 on average. Super skinny is simply the current beauty fad. Also many young men aren’t ‘decent’…

I would choose to not feel sexual attraction to anyone. It’s easier to focus on the things that actually matter when your not being side tracked by desire. I would definitely be happiest if I could remove myself from the sexual game all together without any urges bothering me.

I think it must depending on your country and also what an individual sees as sleeping around. I’ve been in four long term relationships and had just one one night stand and one fwb situation. I’m 29. Most women have similar experiences as I do and don’t consider that to have been sleeping around. Women are more likely to seek relationships than they are one night stands mostly due to satisfaction reasons.

So to be clear you are literally saying morality is founded on beliefs. I believe morality is defined as what most avoids unnecessary harm to others. Is it moral to kill a man in self defence if he invaded your home and attacked you, yes. Is it moral to invade a mans home and attack him, no. Again religion is an incredibly weak basis for what is moral because not is it only extremely outdated but does not view the world from what avoids harm rather than what brings most good to the individual Is…

I think I’ve made that clear already. That religion is not a reliable source for morality since it’s written by men who outlined morality to be exactly what benefitted them the most not what benefitted all. I think we already covered the fact you cannot be taught. I really don’t have any more time for you. I’ve learned never to fight with crazy.

LOL do you feel better after that? My epistemology is that religion is fiction and therefor it’s morality is not based in either science or fact but rather what one (or several) people deemed moral without proper nor reliable testing and therefor is fundamentally flawed as such all out flowing information from religious groundwork should be highly vetted before being applied because the information source is unreliable.

Your assuming firstly that the father was unwilling to have a child, that the child was unplanned or unwanted. If he said let’s have a baby and she said hell yeah he doesn’t get to opt out from all his responsibilities because six months later he fell in love with a different girl or decided kids was too much work. Not sure I got anything from it. You lost me straight away at women can’t exploit men for sex. I recently read on Reddit a guy who was raped by his female boss, he was exploited for sex. Men can be raped by women. Women are physically capable of exploiting men for sex and some do. When I made the statement that we don’t I simply meant the average woman doesn’t. A fwb is not guaranteed pleasure in fact it’s usually not pleasure at all. That’s why I like the idea of gigalos. It’s their literal job to focus on getting you off. That’s because to fuck a drug addict who is clearly either being exploited or is exploiting herself to get drugs is immoral and women tend not to want to exploit people for sex. I agree as a woman I would use sex workers if it were socially acceptable and available to me since I would be pretty much guaranteed quality sex with a respectful guy and have assurance that the act will be confidential. So the fact that every second guy I meet over the age of 25 has kids is somehow irrelevant. That the world is full of single dads who aren’t in the top 20% of men? Women are not responsible for controlling male sexuality. There is only one thing to be said here Women are not responsible for ‘controlling’ male sexual choices. If you care so much about stopping abortion then take responsibility to ensure you aren’t a contributing factor to unwanted pregnancy If the answer to avoid pregnancy is to not have sex until your ready for a child then both men and women together need to follow this advice. I wouldn’t describe them as hot no and women like men tend to rate their own gender as more attractive that the opposite gender would. N2 cheated with a girl who was avarage looking, maybe a bit pretty but didn’t keep herself well and had a sleep around reputation, she was a case of severe insecurity and validation seeking, tbf she wasn’t his looksmatch he was pretty dog faced and chubby but then her history tells me she sought validation even from uglier men. I think I know what bf no 2 and 3 looked like hun and they were far from Chad or even a 6. I have shared their pictures on the ppd discord before and it was agreed they were average looking men. I agree with the second part but that’s kind of my point. Many Average men will still cheat if the chance is presented. If they seem to cheat less it’s only because they don’t have as many chances but they aren’t more or less likely than Chad to cheat. I learned from bf 2 and 3 that if a guy is gonna che…

LOL your joking right? My second and 3rd bfs were no prizes and they cheated every chance they got. I have a mate who’s an ex drug addict, looks twenty years older than he is, has burns down one side of his body who uses sympathy and lies to cheat on his gf constantly. The sheer amount of basic bitch bfs my mates have had that have hit on me and other women behind my mates backs. Stop glorifying Avarage men like they treat women well they really don’t.

Yes because no girl is gonna be in a ‘harem’ ie one of many committed partners to a man. Only way she will only be his in that way is if she doesn’t know about the others or she actually dumb enough to think she more important than the others 😑

It baffles me how men don’t get it Would you want to commit yourself and give everything to a girl who isn’t committed to you? Who you openly knew was having multiple relationships and you were one of many disposable guys she was fucking with. Pretty sure trp complains constantly about the idea of commitment with a girl who has so much as a history with another guy never mind someone who is actively still seeing other men Now in what warped reality to you think women don’t feel the same way? I’m some one who has struggled with sex and desire or rather a lack of. I will say I think a huge motivator to this was that it simply and often times was a lot of work to feel pleasure from the act due to a medical condition. Part of the definition of entitlement is believing you are entitled to certain privileges - privilege literally defined on google as being a special right or (snort) entitlement It’s almost as if words have more than one definition and context is required to understand which definition is being used Sincerely - a BA In English literature and language

So you don’t think it’s basic human decency to at least try to get to know and woman and treat her like a person instead of just sexually objectify her? Also I’ve covered this, it’s a 50/50 scenario I don’t expect to be ‘paid for’ but if you asked me out then yeah you better know where you are taking me. So then men are entitled for expecting women to give them a chance in the first place, for expecting her to dress nice for him and be polite company and in many cases split the bill etc. It works to ways, men expect basic human decency too. A date is literally a mans opportunity to convince a woman he is worthy of sex and to do so in an environment where his intentions are clear and not misconstrued and where her attention is solely on you. Stop acting like dates only exist for women they don’t.

Yawn 🥱 a woman is allowed to expect certain treatment just as a man is provided what she expects is reasonable. That isn’t the ‘entitlement’ this post talks about. For example as a man on a date you can expect her to dress nicely for you and be polite and pleasant company just as she expects that from you. It’s not a one way street flower. She can expect you to put your best foot forward as she will hers. She can expect you to show her you value her for more than sex because she’s not sticking a…

Sure but the OPs argument was which does this more and honestly it’s probably men. Most women I know enter relationships believing first they will have to give certain things to the man, a lot of men enter a relationship believing first she has to provide him with certain somethings.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 03:16 AM

Because that’s entitlement which is the OPs original post. Sure women can get a guy to buy her stuff without going equal but we call that using, and if she thinks she is ENTITLED to use a guy then call a duck a duck 🤷🏼‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 03:12 AM

It’s basically what I’ve said. Match her evenly, if you want her to pay 50% of the bills then do 50% of the house work/childcare. If you both work full time no kids then everything should be 50/50. I don’t understand why that confuses people 🤷🏼‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 02:52 AM

Women don’t expect men to provide with nothing in return. She expects him to match her 🙈 some men just expect (period) and think it’s just a woman’s job/duty.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 02:27 AM
8

Because she does his laundry, cooks his dinner, cleans his house, provides sex and comfort 😑 literally read what I said. Match her evenly or step aside. Why should she give everything to a guy who gives the bare minimum
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 02:22 AM
6

Male entitlement is men thinking women SHOULD do his laundry, make his dinner and keep his house clean while raising his kids and holding down a part time job so she can contribute to household bills. It’s men BELIEVING women owe him her time/body/skills just because he is a man. No one is saying you can’t have a woman that takes care of you but she’s not your mother, either match her evenly or step aside.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 02:19 AM

From a woman’s perspective: It sounds like as you said you were going through some mental health difficulties. While this is in no way your fault it is plausible that this may have impacted your relationship even if it’s just that you weren’t as ‘fun’ to be around. I’m not saying it was her sole motivation but rather a factor to consider. It’s easy to assume it’s hypergamy but what makes you so certain the next guy is ‘better’ than you. So it isn’t false that a number of women don’t actually settle down until they are thirty. 50% of these because they didn’t want to seek commitment and therefor didn’t go after commitment type of men and 50% because they didn’t know how to find a …

I believe this to be very true right up until your late twenties. Many times my friends ‘protected’ me from bad choices. I don’t hold it against them because I think it’s partly rooted in them wanting what they feel is best for me and what I am deserving of. But I think it also proves that women to some extent judge men’s value partly on their appearance until they are old enough and experienced enough to look beyond that.

I mean that because dating is accepted as the manner in which relationships are formed then in this scenario a man is not being honest nor truthful about his pursuit. Yes it’s true it is ultimately our choice to open our legs but if we are of the moral sort that doesn’t sleep around it is quite literally emotionally destroying to be tricked and used. The answer then is that we vet the next guy harder so the next guy gets smarter and things degrade until we end up where we have. Men don’t have to…

Not true. I mean first you have to define a successful marriage. Which also means assuming an unsuccessful marriage is simply any marriage that ends in divorce. You then are assuming that literally no marriage based on love ever lasted which is wrong. A marriage is not successful if two miserable people stay together because divorce isn’t a real option. If a man is forced to marry a woman because he got the woman pregnant does that marriage become successful? Not all marriages succeed. But to me…

In my experience these types of marriages only seem to last when they are built on respect and obedience not love. Usually the man end up cheating a great deal and the behaviour is not frowned-upon by anyone because the expectation that women should put up and shut up, the woman doesn’t cheat because of societal consequences. They don’t stay together because that’s what they want but because that’s what family and society pressures them to do. I briefly worked with women fleeing arranged marriag…

I think you are all over reading this Mgtow gets a bad rep due to its associations. Not using a condom is not the same as trying to get pregnant. 3.the morning after pill and the pill are the most common form of pregnancy prevention 4.most women use condoms to prevent STD not pregnancy 5.chances are she is lowering standards to raise her chances of sleeping with the more attractive guy. These responses are legit insane to read Firstly men hugely over estimate how attractive other men are, all the rate me subs prove that. Secondly, women approach men they want all the time and I don’t just mean sending signals Thirdly the idea that we get rejected when we approach most men for sex regardless of wether we are 5’s and they are 8s is greatly underestimating male standards. What exactly do you want her to do here? What does respecting your feelings look like to you. She knows how you feel, she has made it clear she doesn’t feel the same way. If she is trying to change your behaviour it’s probably because you are simping up the wrong tree and that is uncomfortable and awkward. Acknowledging and respecting your feelings shouldn’t mean she has to protect you from the fact she doesn’t return those feelings.

Because incels aren’t always the incels we see such negativity attached too. I mean incels purely as in young men unable to get sex. This is because girls their age are still to busy making their mistakes not because there is anything inherently wrong with the incel man. I don’t disagree that we naturally gravitate to our own age groups if because mostly we spend most of our time with our own age groups, typically have more in common with them etc. What I’m saying is as circumstances change we will all adapt. As you identified sex is becoming increasingly sparse for young men and women are having a harder time finding anything worth their time among the 30+ men. All it takes…

The sexless ness can be explained quite easily. As I’ve said, it’s not that older women don’t want to fuck younger men it’s that older women don’t feel like they are allowed to do that. How often do you hear women joke about how hot a younger guy is, pretty common right, then they usually joke about how they never would. You are ignoring all the variables such as older men are typically in LTR or marriage and therefor getting sex more consistently. Older men prefer younger women. Younger men however are not experimental. My ex was not a milf chaser and most young men do not think older women will be interested in them, the moment they show interest the game changes. It may just be a difference of location I agree. It’s definitely becoming a thing here. The social stigma is decreasing and women find more HVM by chasing younger, where as men in their 30s+ tend to be LVM who either failed to get or keep a quality girl. It’s literally only social conditioning that keeps us from ‘publicly’ chasing younger men. The rule of thumb here is if they haven’t settled by 30 they probably won’t. I think that’s more a difference between men and women. Men decide if she is some one they want based on looks, women decide based on personality. That’s not to say looks don’t play a factor overall but ultimately if I don’t or do like who the guy is then I typically look past looks to make my choice. Take a google :P it’s one of a few sites older women use to get more experienced and giving partners in bed. That said I’ve also come across a few virgins(male) wanting their first experience too. Generally for people with and without fetishes to explore on a straight forward adult level.

Not here in the U.K. or at least not hook up apps like tinder and badoo and all that. Most Older women have the experience to know if they want to hook up with a stranger to go somewhere like fab swingers, the rest go to LTR sites.

I think it’s more of an age thing. It’s a lies that young girls want older guys or rather a misunderstanding. They want a guy 2-3 years older not a guy in his 30s. Tinder is a young woman’s game. At 28 I and most my friends stopped playing a while back. Those 18-24 year olds aren’t interested in a man in his 30s. Sorry not saying it’s fair that’s just how it is. It’s also becoming more acceptable for women to like young men and more feminine men hence the growing love of kpop idols. If you are a…

I probably wouldn’t have been the target of so many predators growing up so that’s a plus. I wouldn’t have periods once a month or have been hospitalised and nearly faced death if not for my womb. Would never have been so high risk for cancer. I can think of a lot of scenarios even in day to day where I might not have felt so uncomfortable or been as targeted as I was. My mother always babied and made excuses for her sons while we the girls were made to do chores and cook from an early age. That…

Straight a way I see the flawed logic. People weren’t happier they just weren’t able to escape mostly because of the pressure of their families. Just look at the Muslim community. These so called devoted Muslims with their devoted wives they will never divorce run around my area drinking taking drugs sleeping with prostitutes and generally treating their wives more like their mothers. It’s not the life they want it’s the life they have to have. Same for the women. I believe that while some peopl…

I feel like the chances are if you were after just one specific girl if she didn’t like you before all that work she probably won’t like you after either. But I think it’s right that men who look max gain a lot of confidence in the same way women do because they whole world in general is nicer to you. I experienced this as a woman when going from obese to slim and was almost stunned by how nice a cashier would be to be, even an obviously straight female cashier. This is a huge confidence boost i…

Good grooming an hygiene is literally the difference between getting laid or not for a lot of people. 🤷🏼‍♀️ also fashion comes under grooming for men 🤦‍♀️ Also do keep in mind that the gym doesn’t fix every man either. Particularly since chubby chasing/skinny chasing is more common than going for a guy with a six pack. Woman want a career sure, but they don’t want to be the bread winner anymore than the husband is. They want things split equally and for their partner to contribute equally to mai…

Thanks for being mature about it. I too kind of feel like our sexual leverage is unfair on men. I feel like life would be better for all of us if we as women either desired sex more or if men desires it less. I do think the fact that women are somewhat complacent to not enjoying sex and are then conditioned to use it more like a means to get what you want rather than an equal exchange is creating a lot of chaos. I am guilty of feeling like a guy owes me something after sex because he got off but…

Weight does not = low value that’s a shallow concept that ignores the fact that while you may dislike the extra pounds a lot of men genuinely don’t. In fact there are places around the world that prefer women big as a standard. Also the current standard (which differs greatly from when U.K. size 14-16 was the normal for women) ignores many female biological factors and also the science that actually tells us people who are overweight are actually more likely to put live those with normal bmi I a…

You realise that doesn’t work right? I mean women constantly work on their appearance including spending huge amounts of money on hair make up and clothes to max out their attraction. This is because we know men like attractive women and the more attractive the man is the more attractive a woman he wants so to max our chances we max our looks. Also I don’t think men are evil for pursuing people they think are attractive. It’s a very small group of butt hurt women that blame men for wanting to be…

If my son raped or abused a woman I would not take his side. Basically it boils down to who was at fault. I take the side that needs taking. I would defend him to death if a woman wronged him.

Okay you’re officially boring and this weird mansplaining thing your doing, I literally didn’t believe in it until now. You apparently have low reading comprehension either that or you just chose to take what you want from a conversation rather than listen to what is being said. Self defence classes don’t work for the majority of us, chances are the guys stronger than you anyway and most people freeze up from fear when it happens. What women are those? Do you mean because we make man flu jokes while babying you through your cold and dealing with our own? Women are not known for abandoning men when they are sick, maybe you are projecting some kind of personal experience but it really isn’t all that common. Most women I know actually baby their husbands/boyfriends to the point it’s sickening and a bit creepy. My fella had a cold so I went to shop to buy him medicine and do the whole poor baby spiel. Oh I see So we should all wait until a man actually begins the assault to start taking measures to protect ourselves? Does that mean you will stop blaming us for not being cautious enough? It’s not as if women being suspicious at night hinders anyone but actual rapists and muggers. Why is it relevant why I’m in the alley. Let’s say it’s the infamous alley next to headingley stadium in Leeds U.K. . The one that is being paroled nightly because of the sheer number of sexual assaults. This is an alley I had to walk through daily for transport reasons, in winter it gets darker earlier making it almost impossible to avoid the threat of the alley. The threat was real, there have been countless assaults there. Am I imagining that? Am I imagining my friend who was nearly raped and…

What exactly does that have to do with children? A woman has to nurture her children not her husband. I’ve been sick and not had so much as sympathy from my partner. I had a molar pregnancy and despite being together for two years he didn’t once come to see me in the hospital despite the surgery going wrong and almost costing me my life. Can I say for certainty that means he will be a bad father? Sorry but it’s really not a woman’s job to mother you unless you are her son. If you were really tha…

I’m not saying the fear is constant but their are times it’s justified. You have to remember that fear is part of our survival instincts. Men don’t typically fear women but if she is holding you at gun point it would be stupid not to. It just so happens that there are more situations in which men present a potential danger to women than their are women being a potential danger to men

Youn have clearly never felt afraid to walk down a dark alley. We aren’t just told these horror stories growing up, they are in the news, on posters and billboards and experiences our friends have had. If you grew up with the whole world telling you cats are dangerous at night and can potentially seriously hurt or even kill you. would you be so willing to drop your guard or not panic when a cat crosses the street towards you at night. Even if you feel safe around them during the day?

I don’t really know where to ask this question so I will stick it here. As a female I am asking both genders why is there so much negativity around porn consumption. I might be out of the loop but can some one give me some actual reasoning why porn consumption is bad, and is this idea directed only at men or do people feel women should not consume porn as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/20 01:28 AM

I’m pretty sure crazy cat ladies don’t have the best reputation. Men who consume lots of porn are porn sick. Any woman who had cats instead of a boyfriend is crazy 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s not fair on either side.

Sorry but for the majority of women casual sex is always an option regardless of age. She will lose interest in sex before she runs out of options. The sheer number of young men in places like fab swingers looking for a cougar, her options are only as limited as the limits she places on herself :(

I’m late to this one but I wanted to chime in It depends on what those expectations are I feel like men should raise their expectations in how they should be treated. No one should be abused or treated like a doormat But I do think some men should lower their expectations of beauty particularly when beauty as we know it today really isn’t real. A great deal of vanity goes into that look and frankly it’s wasted time, if we added up all the hours we waste just maintaining our ‘average’ appearance …

This one is interesting. I think I can agree that if he is absolutely not my type I would have to at least be forthcoming and warn him that nothing may come of his effort. That said I don’t find looks to be massively important, like their nice to have in a man but in terms of LTR I think his morals and behaviour are the most important aspect of him. He could be the richest sexiest man on earth but if he has a poor approach to people and life in general that’s an instant no from me. A guy wanting…

I think it’s pretty straight forward and you kind of answered it yourself There is a stigma attached to gaming that it’s only for children and loser men who sit in their mums basement. While this idea is slowly changing and the stigma isn’t as bad when you look at my generation and older gens so 30+ you are going to find that mentality is quite strong. I have to disagree I’m friends with a guy who is a serial flirted and even goes as far as to flirt with women online behind his partner back however what truly baffles me is he never acts on it even when he knows he can get away with it. I don’t know if it’s just because he likes to feel desired by women or something else, it’s always been a bit of a puzzle to me but I can say for sure he really hasn’t cheated 🤷🏼‍♀️

So to add as honestly as I can I have actually cheated twice in my life. The first time is my biggest regret, my first boyfriend and love. The thing is the motivation behind it is a confused ball of teenage hormones. My first real crush initially rejected me, my desires for him were powerful and I was a little over obsessed. I finally got over him by throwing myself into my first relationship, I honestly had no complaints about him as a partner, he was everything I could have asked for. And the …

Firstly I do appreciate what you have said but the problem is you cannot generalise. I’m sure a lot of women do like a man who dominates, and many women do want to be mothers. But more than you realise many women want the opposite but are pressured into thinking these desires are ‘wrong’. I think an example of this is age. We have been made to believe that it is natural selection that women choose older men but the more I observe my fellow females the more I realise that it’s societal fear that …

Tbf I would probably lose most of my sex drive by the time I can’t attract men. I find it bizarre that you interpret feminists as a desire to be superior or assume women don’t value men on a larger scale. Actually as I write this I CAN see why. Woman get screwed over by men all the time no matter what they do, even if they play the perfect wife, have low numbers or where virgin. rather than only blaming the man responsible they start to blame all men. This is because we are less resilient than we realise. It’s also a response we have to misogyny, women encounter it many tim…
