That stat doesn’t state the ages either. As I posted, men tend to marry women within 1-3 years of their own age. So, yes, the women are younger. But by how much? 1-3 years.

The stats I showed aren’t only first time marriages. It’s a survey of all marriages in the United States. So it shows second and thirds as well. Still showing that men prefer women within 1-3 years of their own age. And a lot of women don’t as they’re searching for relationships and not sex. Which is why the bit about men preferring younger women for sex doesn’t matter here. I’m not arguing anything new because it’s not my point. I’m only saying one thing.

One in five men is not more than half and doesn’t disprove my point that men still form relationships and marriages with women 1-3 years within their own age. No, on average men do not go after much younger women. Many women aren’t concerned with hookups or casual sex at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 03:05 PM

Nope I never said that. I’m just stating the facts. Money and resources and your point surrounding that doesn’t change the fact that men pursue different ages of women for different things. And women are mostly concerned with dating and relationships, not hook ups.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 11:10 AM

Some are not all of them. And the ones who don’t want just sex will go for women their own age or close to it. And there’s nothing wrong with only wanting sex. I never said anything about this. That’s not the point.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 10:57 AM

That’s why you have older women telling younger women what you just admitted: older men who pursue only younger women are after sex, not actual relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 10:53 AM

Yes, they do care because they don’t want that most of the time. They’re concerned with who they will date and marry. So who a man pursues for sex is irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 10:49 AM

Yes they do what? The average age of first marriage is 27 for women and 29 for men. That falls into the age gap statistics I listed as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 10:37 AM

It doesn’t matter since women don’t care about being pursued for sex on average. Most would rather know who they’re going to marry, and the answer is someone around their own age or 1-3 years older. Older women marry men their own age.

Here you can see 33.9% of men are married to a woman within 1 year of their own age. 19.6% we married to a woman 2-3 years younger. Articles mean precisely shit compared to actual population survey data.

Men actually do go after women their own age instead of much younger. Over half of American men are married to women within 1-3 years of their own age.

A lot of men have no interest in children. This is only brought up as a way to lower a woman’s self confidence as she gets older and her fertility decreases. Many men view this as a benefit as they can have unprotected sex without the risk of pregnancy.

If she doesn’t want to date him then there’s nothing you can do about that. Let’s also stop trying to convince women to date men they don’t want to just because men don’t like being rejected.

Lack of affection and effort. If you have to do everything to keep the relationship going; you have to make plans, you have to call or text first, you have to ask questions to keep conversation, etc. If she never wants to touch you, if it doesn’t feel like chemistry is building for her, if you’re doing all the work during sex, if she never initiates sex, etc. then she has settled for you.

Exactly. And with women being pickier than men, when you extrapolate that behavior, it leaves a lot men without partners. No disagreement here. Only thing is I don’t have sympathy for the guys who insult women for their preferences (no, you didn’t insult anyone that I saw here). There’s a guy I was going back and forth with earlier that couldn’t have a conversation without calling women “retarded” for wanting tall men. Is there a solution to this? Or will being single become more common? Unfortu…

No, I agree with everything you’ve said here. There isn’t someone for everyone. But I think that’s the fault of people. I think with the population being nearly 1:1, everyone could find a partner, but their preferences result in them being single. I also know it’s not common and there probably aren’t enough women who prefer short men for every short man. Just as there aren’t enough tall men for all women who want one. As for the last part, I agree wholeheartedly. My partner is always the best pe…

I didn’t say you insulted anyone. It’s just common for it to happen. I’m saying I don’t partake in that for the reason stated. I’m not saying it’s common or that it happens often. My point is that is does. Why not focus on those types instead of the ones who prefer tall and well endowed men?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 11:32 PM
1

Exactly. Which is why I won’t go around and insult anyone for their preferences or standards. Some women are actually attracted to small or short men. Some men don’t know that. I saw a woman say she has a crush on Peter Dinklage

I had a conversation about this before with many women. Some have actually said 6’0 is too short. An engaged friend of mine prefers 6’2 and up. Some just want someone taller than they are. One in particular who wants someone taller happens to be 5’10 and 6’0 is where she notices that the man is taller than she is. Many different preferences and explanations. All of which I love and find interesting to hear about. I was actually trying to give men a bit of the benefit of the doubt but I agree, th…

I love when women prefer men who are over 6’0. I don’t know why but I do. I’d imagine she wants a big dick because it feels better to her. Not all vaginas are the same size. I think guys take these things personally because they don’t like being reduced to numbers but I think it’s comparable to how women don’t like being seen as sexual objects.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 10:13 PM

Funny. Most women don’t like the idea that they can’t change their behavior when they learn it’s harmful.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 09:16 PM

Sure it’s interesting to watch. But certain physical traits will always be more desirable than others. Which means some people and groups of people will be more attractive than others. It’s not something to get upset about and lose respect for people over. Just my thoughts though.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 08:45 PM
1

They don’t want you. So you don’t want them. So what’s the issue?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 07:41 PM
2

Men don't want sex from women who don't want them. The desire is to have a woman that lusts after you like we do to attractive women, convincing does not fulfill that goal. All you have to do is look at who they choose to fuck. Men have a hard time dating because women are only attracted to a small amount of men. If men don’t want women who don’t lust afternoon them then what’s the issue if women are only attracted to a small group of men?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/21 07:35 PM
3

Then the women who die by the sword shouldn’t matter to those men. But that’s not the truth. Truth is men feel they have a hard time dating because women they think women on their level of attractiveness prefer more attractive men. So men are trying to convince those women to lower their standards so those men can date them.

You’re overlooking one very important factor to the difference between nice guys and the girl next door: the girl next door isn’t an asshole who only pretends to be friendly to get sex. Nice guys are creepy and disingenuous; the girl next door is just your average woman.

I didn’t make that statement.

It depends on the person. Some react the way you’re saying and some become bitter. Just like some attractive people are happy and grateful for the positivity they encounter, and some take advantage of it.

Doesn’t mean anyone wants ugly men
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 05:51 AM
4

That’s the problem though. The guy is just treating a woman well because he doesn’t have the means to treat her poorly. Not because he actually values her and wants to treat her well. He’s basically the same as the shitty Chads these guys talk about. He just isn’t attractive enough to do what Chad does.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 03:52 AM

All I’m gathering from that is “if you women chase attractive men, you will end up alone and desperate for a relationship in your 30s and come crawling to us that you didn’t want back then.” The reality is a lot of women would rather just be single than with men she finds unattractive. So the whole “give ugly men a chance or you’ll be single” doesn’t hold much value. The women who are that desperate already took an ugly guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 03:50 AM
4

Oh I know lol I just like to show them the flaw in their logic. What sense does it make for a woman to go looking for a man she thinks is not that attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 03:37 AM
7

Why shouldn’t a woman want the top 20% of men? Let me guess, because then the men outside the top 20% have to remain single also.

You’re a bit late.

Yeah I don’t support telling anyone who to date. It sounds like it has an agenda behind it. I like your box by the way.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 01:18 AM

Majority of men don’t prefer younger and more attractive women. At least, the ones looking for marriage and relationships don’t. Stats show more than half of American men marry women working 1-3 years of their own age.

I think Chads might be nicer on average because they’re not angry and bitter over constant rejection or sexually frustrated. Less attractive men can be quite insecure and project those insecurities onto others.

I’d personally be even more sad if I got duped by an ugly person.

At least get something out of the situation 😂 at least he was hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 12:16 AM

The point is that if she’s going to be used for sex and lied to then at least let it be by a hot guy. I can see how a woman would feel sad and stupid for being fooled by a guy she didn’t even like.

This sounds the old “date less attractive men if you want to find a partner” advice. Can we stop pushing the narrative that a woman has to date an unattractive man in order to find happiness?

Yeah I was wondering what you meant by difficult.

I don’t know about that. Women are getting married later and later. And being single has become more common over the last 50 years.

So then what’s the explanation for outside of America?

That’s the point.

Attraction alone isn’t as often a reason to stay in an unhealthy relationship since someone can just find another attractive partner. But leaving the man that is providing financial stability is a lot harder. That means a woman might not eat or have some basic necessities until she can find another provider.

I can see this post receiving a lot of heat. But to answer the question, this has always been the case. It’s just that women I think have higher standards these days. It’s very common to hear about men having mistresses and their wife stays. Or the man beats his wife and she stays. I think part of it is because women used to marry men for financial security. Now that women have the ability to earn their own money and support themselves, they have higher standards for the men they date and marry.…

No I don’t believe that old men going after younger women is always because he can’t get women his age or because he wants someone naive that he can control. It’s a case by case basis. When you have a man who constantly bash women his age and older, then he sounds bitter to me and that’s when I assume his interest in younger women isn’t genuine. But a man who just finds a younger woman physically attractive is a different story in my opinion.

It sounds like you’re miserable in your marriage. Which sounds worse to you, staying in a sexless marriage to someone you aren’t attracted to or divorce and some negative opinions? You said you’re good with finances and money, you will recover.

First off, some women don’t like being approached in public, some do have a boyfriend, and some women are just miserable and will be mean just for the sake of it. That’s just the risk when approaching someone cold. But, if a woman is mean to you just for showing interest then the problem is her and not you. This of course assuming you were respectful in your approach. When I see women checking me out (holding eye contact with me, looking me up and down, etc) it confuses me because they wouldn't …

Honestly you should’ve taken his advice and went for it. He gave you the go ahead and you didnt do anything so he did. He did the best he could for you. Next time just make a move. If she says no then oh well, at least you know and aren’t dealing with what you’re feeling right now. What is your last question about? Do you want to date the woman your friend fucked or do you just want a turn also?

Let's take a step back. There are many activities people can do together, some with the expectation of exclusivity. Further, if those things are important to you, you get a significant amount of enjoyment from the activity, then it would be crazy to commit to someone who is not compatible with these important and exclusive activities. This is sex. I agree. Any kind of shared activity could, hypothetically, be used to deepen a relationship. Sex is one that makes a lot of sense, at some point, whe…

There’s a difference between wanting a platonic friend and wanting someone who wants more than just sex. A romantic partner should value more than just sex in a relationship. What you’re describing sounds like hooking up. As for sex helping others get to know each other better, I agree. That doesn’t change the fact that it should be done when comfortable.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 06:33 PM

There are many women who wouldn’t want someone who needs sex just to tolerate dating her. It sounds like the only thing you want is sex and she herself is unbearable. “When you feel comfortable” is just that, when a woman feels comfortable. It has nothing to do with testing the man.
