I disagree, there are a lot of lessons to be learned about relationships that can only be learnt once you've been in them, and most of the time its lessons about yourself and how you manage in a relationship. When I was younger I thought that only men enjoyed sex and that women just put up with it, until I got into a relationship and found out that my gf wanted sex just as much if not more than I did. I thought that love was enough to make a relationship work, then I realized that you need simil…

If a man is working more hours (and making more money) then he can't be expected to also clean up the house, now if the wife was working 40 hours a week then to me it would unrealistic for the husband to expect her to do most of the chores, especially if they live in a big house, if she was working part time (let's say 20 hours a week) and still didn't want to pick up the lion's share of the chores then that woman is lazy and not willing to properly contribute to the household.

Expecting a 50/50 split is unrealistic unless you're both in similar income brackets, imagine you've eyed a house you really want to buy, your wife loves it too but if bills were split 50/50 you wouldn't be able to afford it, so what do you do? Nickle and dime your wife leading to you settling on a worse home because things have to be 100% equal? Or bite the bullet and accept that where she lacks you'll pick up and where you lack she'll pick up which leads to you paying more bills. At the end of…

Absolutely, I disagreed with about 95% of what I read on FDS, but I still feel like there should be a place for women to talk candidly about their relationship issues regardless of how toxic it came across (same for men).

Now I'm not the type of guy to go for much younger women (I'm 26 and my cut off is 20 and that's pushing it), but let's not act like these young women don't know what they're doing and that they're just the victims out here. I remember when I was in the 18-22 age bracket seeing girls my age fuck around with guys in their early 30s, when you asked them why they did it the answer was obvious, resources, wealth, status, things the guys their age couldn't offer them. Fuck, I know a 21 year old girl …

It's also possible that you let your guard down around them, they've got a girlfriend so they probably won't hit on you and they're pre-approved by a woman so at the very least they're not a creep. When a man is single women tend to have their guard up because they expect the guy to flirt with them or make them uncomfortable somehow.

As someone who dabbled in casual sex for about a year or so I realized that sex outside of a relationship really doesn't appeal to me, so no, I don't really care for transactional sex. That being said I don't really care for dating these days either so maybe those two things are related.

So why can’t men change to accommodate the female gaze if they want to attract women? You asked why don't men change themselves for women and I told you why that's not a good strategy for living a healthy life as a man. Nor do I really care what men do. Tell it to them, not to me. They’re the ones who need to hear it. They’re the ones complaining that they can’t get a date or a second glance. Like I said, no one's complaining, they're just talking about the reality of the dating market.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/22 12:45 AM

Going back to your original point of changing yourself for the female gaze, a man who does that will never find true motivation, impressing women is not as inspiring as most women think it is. Think about it, what happens to the man when he finally gets the woman/women, there's no more motivation, he's reached the promised land, I believe this is why most men plateau when they get in long-term relationships with women, because women were their motivations in the first place, now that they have h…

Reality is that you get what you deserve. The single-mom will get very few quality matches, same with the broke/fat/short guy, the problem is the single-mom doesn't see herself on the same level as that guy when in reality she is. They don't have to accept it, they can stay single forever but that are their options.

No one in this thread is complaining about it, they're just telling it how it is and the men who do complain about it are fighting against a reality that isn't going to change anytime soon.

I make decent money that will definitely increase quite a bit in the next 12-24 months. I consider myself decent looking. Don't want marriage nor kids. It is possible, but in my experience once you actually get into good relationships you recognize the difference between a good potential partner and a good friend, when you're younger/inexperienced those lines are blurred. I'm guessing that the men surveyed have a few female friends and can recognize that while their friends are great gals, they're not really girlfriend material.

That stuff only works when the girl is already attracted to you, if she's not you might as well be pissing in the wind. How does that make any sense? The fact is that women generally don't care if you're talking to 10 different women, because most girls are talking to 10 different guys if they're half-decent looking and have a social media presence, or at least have the ability to.

How would know she's not that kind of woman? Women don't just have a neon-sign showcasing what type of woman they are. There are lots of women who come across as the good girl types but on the down low they have 4-5 guys they're talking to, with 1 or 2 of them they're fucking.

I mean, you just have to open your eyes and do some critical thinking, look at the majority of movie stars, 6ft+, look at the men considered most conventionally attractive, tall. There are outliers obviously so you have to look at what they do, typically it's humour, charisma, and being well put together, that's achievable for most men willing to put in the work.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/22 05:52 PM
5

Yeah, when you look around, even as a young man, you realise most of the women aren't going to be the ideal, perfect partner pretty quickly, so you adjust your expectations and that becomes your reality, you don't even think about the alternative because that would be pure fantasy delusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/22 02:35 PM

Absolutely, either she likes you or she doesn't. I swear this website's obsession with women's height preference is so weird, just accept that not every woman is going to find you attractive and move on. I'm 5'9 btw.

The only thing I can go on with FDS is the subreddit, and 99% of the posts there are about bashing men (scrotes). I'm not saying self-improvement isn't something FDS emphasizes, just that I haven't seen it, whereas TRP has always been about getting/understanding women, and to do that most (average) men have to self-improve. Basically TRP: Self-improvement necessary, FDS: Self-improvement optional.

This is low value seeking high value. They won't accept that they're just low value. Yeah, but those men are probably not going to get high value, if a man doesn't accept that then they're not following TRP. Sure you can raise your SMV a little bit, but TRP doesn't get to claim self-improvement That's what TRP is basically founded upon though, self-improvement but with a male lens. If you're not getting women it's your fault There are limits to what a man's SMV can get up to, sure, but if you ha…

TRP isn't about finding high-value, it's about becoming high-value. If you're broke, out of shape, don't have assets and no social circle, you're by definition low-value under TRP philosophy. If you haven't accepted that then you haven't taken TRP. FDS is about finding high-value and all the indicators that men give off when they're high-value, the problem is these women often don't even know what a high-value man looks like and how to identify them.

This right here, which is what PPD women don't seem to get. Women come into the sexual marketplace at a massive advantage, most men (80%) come in at a disadvantage, RP teaches you how to increase your chances, you'll never be at the level that women get to, but if you were attracting 10% of women pre-RP, RP will push that up to 15-20%.

This right here, and honestly I don't want anything other than their companionship either, I don't want kids, I don't want marriage, I just want someone to share my days and have a laugh with.

No, I normally know what is wrong, I just want them to say it, because me just "knowing" promotes bad behaviour. For instance, if I said I was gonna call, then didn't call, then we met up later and they're giving me attitude for "no reason", I know it was because I didn't call, but be upfront about it, it's healthier that way, at least for me.

Depends on the woman, I've found most women's emotions pretty easy to read, but once women start playing that "You should know" card I check out, not willing to put up with a 23 year old child who can't communicate.

No, I'm saying that a date is a time investment, as you get older time becomes a premium currency, even as a single male my time is disappearing before my eyes, going to the gym, hanging out with friends/family, enjoying my hobbies, on top of a full time job. Why would I spend the little free time I have on a sub-par date? Even if the meal was free? Free meals are not worth my time when I have more than enough money to feed myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/22 02:11 PM
2

Nah, people with jobs value their time, an hour long date on a Saturday is actually a 3 hour affair because you have to get ready for an hour, have the date, then settle down for another hour post-date. 3 hours is a lot of time to give up just for a free dinner when you could just spend the money to feed yourself.

Eh, just take the lie, when you ask a woman "Hey, can we meet up this weekend?" and she responds with anything but an enthusiastic yes or at the very least wants to reschedule, just move on to the next one, don't take it personally, she's not into you. Once you understand how women act once they're actually into you it's very easy to see the signs of female attraction.

Even if girls could orgasm more often from sex, I still think they wouldn't want it that often. Girls don't enjoy doing physical things as much as men. Lesbians have higher orgasm rate and they have even less sexual activity than heterosexual couples. Even if women enjoyed sex more, they'd still want to get provisions out of it. They'd still exploit men's sex drive to get provisions. It's just their nature. Do some women do this? Sure. Do all women do this and have some ulterior motive to gain r…

I'm a woman who's been with the same guy for many years. I actually have to go to bed so maybe continue this later? Sure. I don't think you understand what TRP is at all. The point is girls lead on a lot of guys with no intention of ever sleeping with them which is shocking to any guy because they think girls are horny. How can a girl lead me on if I'm willing to kick her to the curb the moment she doesn't give me what I want? Weaker men will suffer a woman's false promises of sex. And it's girls' nature to want to get something out of sex (provisions), which further proves they're not horny. Women get horny, other…

Some of my replies to other comments here has more, but one thing that women keep telling RPers again & again is that most women do not want to date a “chad” male. RPers simply won’t believe the countless women who tell them this, are even in relationships (like me) with men who are not chads. You don't need to be "Chad" to get an attractive woman, you need to be "Chad" to get attractive women on a consistent basis. Which is what a lot of men want when they're not tied down to one woman. I don't want "high value partners", I want partners, point blank period. And that's what TRP facilitates. Also TRP isn't about hating women, it's more about opening your eyes to female nature and to accept reality, the guys who get mad are the guys who fight against this reality and want to stay in fairy tale land. Finally, TRP isn't one size fits all, YMMV when adopting its principals and your approach to women.

First of all, you need to calm down. Almost like boys and girls are different, shocker. Then it’s your job to take it from there. A lot of the TRP is exactly that, realising that a lot of what you're taught is actually BS and now you have to figure it out for yourself. A lot of the best practitioners of TRP are men aged 18-25, they're the ones with the most to figure out so TRP is there to guide them. Just society in general, media, elders, mentors, etc. A lot of men are left to their own devices when it comes to figuring out women, so they take methods of dating from all kinds of sources to gain some understanding. That's why the manosphere is becoming so popular in recent years, because men crave the "truth" behind dating and women.

I don't know how to word this succinctly as I'd like, but basically young boys are taught to put the girls they like/want on a pedestal, that if they do that and approach them as the kind, honest gentleman then they'll have the girl of their dreams.
