I don’t deny anything this post mentioned. But on a slightly more upbeat tone, pick-up artists are straight up delusional when it comes to EE women. These losers will visit the major cities (where women have better access to education, healthcare, better jobs and support networks) and try to pick them up basing their strategy on a fetishized view of the perfect submissive woman. They know it doesn’t work, we know it doesn’t work, but the chum living in his mom’s basement paying $59.99 for a cour…

Is there something they hate more than knowing we have options and aren’t these damsels in distress?

But at the same time, we can afford all the places we want to be taken to on dates. It wouldn’t break our budget to get those flowers or go eat at that restaurant. So maybe we’re “expensive to date”, maybe they’re just broke.

I swear I knew a guy just like that. Everytime I ran into him he would complain about being single, not making it past second or third date, being ghosted. When he finally got a girlfriend it turned to complaints about her career (she doesn’t work in a science related field), her intelligence (she only has a BA), her age (she’s slightly older). Never even met the girl and I feel bad for her.

Eastern European here. Had similar experiences. And another thing I noticed is men pointing out how much they spent on you on dates and expecting to get something in return. Which is gross even if they don’t demand something sexual bc it totally spoils any fun you might have had with that person. (And people who would rather pay a sex worker than buy their date a drink are delusional and highly underestimate the cost of those type of services)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
