Judging from what you’ve said so far, I can tell i’m not gonna be able to convince you via any sort of reasoned debate, especially not in a reddit thread god forbid. I think you have to change your mind on a lot of things, especially about trans people, or else you could end up hurting a closeted trans person that you know. Do better, and dear god please listen to the actual science instead of barking out tired old dogma like how sjw’s supposedly do. Your blind irrational hatred is showing, and …

ah yes, i can tell this random fellow off the street is a man because of his chromosomes. Do you see how daft this logic is? Who in the world has a sixth sense for chromosomes??

“Identifying as a gender” does not mean “i verbally declare myself to be this gender, therefore it is so”. The view of “scientific fact” you’ve presented is outdated and has been pretty widely discredited for some time. Gender dysphoria (feeling like your body’s the wrong gender) and gender euphoria (finally feeling like your body’s the right gender) are clearly documented and scientifically supported phenomena. Science and knowledge is a process, and we have now progressed forward. Perhaps you’…

what, that genitals and chromosomes are all that make men men and women women? Do you honestly think “hmmm this person must have a penis judging from how they look”?

alright yeah, i see those industry related problems, i hear ya. Why bring trans people into it? Do you genuinely think trans people just “make it all up”?

I mean okay, I get political tension and polarization having a chance of igniting a civil war, but decadence? What’s particularly decadent about the US?

I don’t think conflict between the more extreme ends of the political spectrum is necessarily a sign of a roman empire style downfall. Partisan politics that even get violent at times is not a new thing in america. You could in fact argue that decades ago, when the KKK had like ~2 million members, that the US was more extreme then than now. This whole idea of “America’s gonna fall like the roman empire” for reasons such as leftism, social justice warriors, partisan politics, or, amongst kookier …

oh hey, i can explain this one! It seems the mod misinterpreted what you said/meant. You see, most bigoted people tend to soften up/make vaguer the language they use to minimize backlash against them. In the case of transphobes, a common “dogwhistle” is “I just think men and women have biological differences!” While it sounds innocent in a vacuum, in the context of trans people, who’s gender identity doesn’t match their biological sex, it’s basically saying “I think the difference between men an…
