Right, and I don’t agree with that. Since someone’s ability to process information is impaired while drunk, all genders would be unable to properly consent, from my perspective. I apologized if I wasn’t quite clear in the first message, the general gist was that any decision should be applied across all genders, like you said

I would assume so, yes. While I may not entirely agree with the thread, if I sober man has sex with a drunk woman, it would be the same situation as a sober woman having sex with a drunk man (that is, if the scenarios are identical with only the genders reversed).

“It’s your fault for trusting her” I really, really doubt the same would be said to someone in a reverse situation (say, a woman got pregnant because a man sabotaged condoms). Both are abhorrent, but I imagine only one side would garner support

There are different types of Men’s Activists. I disagree with a lot of things on this sub. I’m personally gay, so having kids isn’t something I’m exactly worried about. And you’re right, there are a lot of nuances that I hadn’t thought of. Thank you I will say, however, you seem to be quite aggressive. I apologize that I don’t understand every little thing, however insults aren’t the way to go

I think its more so that men want the same abilities to deny becoming a parent as women have. Women can also “skeet and not take care of their children”, as you put it. In many places, a women can leave an unwanted child in front of a fire department and they’ll deal with giving the child a proper home. Men don’t really have that option.

I think they might be referring to adoption. Where I’m from, and I’m not sure if this is the same elsewhere, if a woman can’t reasonably raise or care for the baby (after its born), they can leave it near a fire department in their area, and they’ll take it from there. There are also other things to, like giving the child to foster care. What I think they’re asking is if this act is considered cowardly

That’s so creepy, reading the comments. So because men don’t want to be falsely accused of something they didn’t do, something that if they’re accused of they could get fired, their reputation ruined etc, that means the guy is secretly a pervert?
