Ah, yes. I remember my first day of class after deciding to major in a science field. I was greeted by hoards of oppressive men who tried to tackle me to keep me from getting in the door.

To the fellas who have dealt with this or similar eating disorders: what were some of the things leading up to the development of the disorder that were major contributing factors for you? I'm a woman and suffered from anorexia as a young girl and teenager, so I know what caused it in my case. I have little boys now though, and I want to make sure that I can provide the support they need to keep them from falling victim to this or at least be able to help them if they begin to struggle with body…

Oh, I have more: "Bold words coming from a boiled egg sporting a dead possum for hair." "Honey, you ain't pretty enough to have that ugly of a personality." Just want to second what Carrie is saying. I'm a mom of boys (second one due in a couple months), and we're going to be doing everything we can to make sure they grow up knowing they have worth and that they deserve to be treated well by women. There are women who love, care about, and respect men because we recognize that y'all are amazing human beings. We're out here. We hear you. And we're going to make sure that real change happens.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
