This is the story of my life. So true.

Hopefully. Been waiting for 15 years, things only get worse.

I have tried to reconcile numerous times. She thinks I am a loser and weak and considers herself superior.

She uses my son as a weapon. If I confront her, she will start abusing me, my parents, try to make my life difficult. She then tries to cut my son's contact with my family. She will say nasty things about my parents and me in front of our son. In the end, I have to accept defeat.

My wife does not let me take my son out of the house unless she is also present. I cannot decide what to give my son for lunch unless I get permission.

Absolutely. My wife is dependent on me. She does not even know how to drive a car and makes me drive her to places. She runs our business using my credentials. But even then, I am the one scared and living like her puppet.

Yes, very true. Everyone makes mistakes, I have hurt her and she has also hurt me. She to date, never apologised. I am always the one, to apologise and give us another chance. She on the other hand decided to see this as my weakness. Became aggressive, dominating, powerful and controlling over time to the point now that I think I am just a piece of furniture for her. She constantly tries to cut me off from anyone that is important to me - my parents, my brother, my friends. She is also using par…

Absolutely agree. I married a different person 15 years ago, as she has completely changed. She is forever frustrated, short tempered and on the look out to hunt me down for anything possible.

Omg, this is just like my abusive wife. Will not let me got out at all. Wants to control me like a puppet. I have been married for 15 years with this monster, it gets only worse with time.

I am trapped in my marriage. Living with a monster who likes and wants to control me. I am not supposed to voice my own opinion. I cannot even give my 10 year old child any food without getting her permission. She will constantly say in front of our child that she is more important than me. She things she is superior. Married for almost 15 years, thought things would improve over time, but I have lost all hope now.

Agree. I often feel, I am like a furniture or an object in the house. Only there to be used by her for her benefit. I get no respect from the relationship.

She will never agree for counseling.... According to her everything is right. When I told her she has anger management issues, she turned around and said that I am the one who needs treatment for anger management. She just turns things back on me.

I feel for you. My situation is similar. Since our son was born, she completely changed. She considers herself superior and started using me to get things done for her as if she owns me and if I make a small mistake, she will explode. She also became toxic towards my parents and my brother. They have always cared for her but her mind is blocked. She makes up things in her head and cannot see reality.

Thanks. The problem is she is super nice to my son. She is so possessive that she doesn't even let me or my parents take my son for a walk to the park. She does not want to share our child with anyone, including me. Got a weird thing in her head that she is the important parent.

I can understand what you went through. Very relatable. My wife is always looking for reasons to blame me.... Even when it is her fault. If anything goes wrong with her... It is my fault... She never takes on responsibility and never finds fault in her actions. According to her.... She is perfect.
