This crushes me because I was in a bad place a long time ago. Had nothing to do with my marriage (or maybe it did who knows) but I was suffering from ptsd after coming home from overseas. I too turned to food as a way to make me feel better. I couldn’t snap out of it until one day, and please try this, one day I looked myself dead in the mirror and asked myself, “is this who you are??” Life can absolutely suck. Life can keep kicking you while you’re down and then piss all over you with no remors…

Man! I’m 100% positive my wife isn’t doing anything behind my back BUT! She’s amazing at psychological warfare. I really appreciate all the advice! It is 100% what I want. Like I said, I’ve been feeling this way for a while. It’s not like this is something new and it’s just a phase. In the long run, it’s best for me and how I’ll be as a dad.

I keep trying to tell myself I don’t want to be like my parents who are divorced (twice!) and I don’t want to end up like them. I also realize it’s unfair to my wife who does want the husband, the house, kids, whole 9 yards. Coming on here to vent and listen to others has helped tremendously and thank yo…

Thank you for the kind words my friend. I needed that and your totally right it’s an incompatibility issue. I don’t hate her or anything. We’ve just grown into different people with different ideas for who we want to live our life.

This was amazing! Had me in the first half, ain’t gonna lie hahaha Everything you said is exactly how I feel which is why I’m planning to file for divorce from my wife. I just can’t do it anymore.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
