That’s your opinion, what I’m saying is the trained professionals agree. Either way, all gender is is how you view yourself as a person. I’m a nonbinary Male, meaning I have all of the stuff a Male does, but I’d like to be treated in a way that doesn’t include my gender identity, meaning pronouns, ungendered bathrooms, the clothing I like to wear, etc. Acknowledging someone’s gender isn’t admitting you were in the wrong, it’s called being a decent human who is thoughtful of other’s needs.

A person’s sex is related to which xx or xy chromosomes they are born with, which serves a biological reproductive function. Gender, on the other hand, is how you view yourself in a society. It’s shorthand for your personality and how you want to be treated, therefore serving a societal “pre introduction” function that you can use to determine how those people would like to be referred to as and how they want to be treated. The fact that you are denying this is just belligerent and rude.
