I feel that is the correct stance. I think everyone should have a right to voice their ideas no matter how stupid or despicable they are. Only by hearing ideas can you decide whether they are good or not.

Ahh the reverse Blackstone's formulation. I used the normal formulation in a paper about false accusations for a professor I knew leaned a bit left. Get my paper back with a C- and with her writing paragraphs about how this was wrong and that all women deserve to be believed. Toed the feminist line for the remainder of that course to pass.

Because women tend to prefer jobs that are less physically demanding, have lower levels of danger, and better hours. More dangerous and physically taxing jobs have to pay more in order for people to take those jobs. Why would someone work in a coal mine if they could make the same money at Wal-Mart?

The only thing I will say here is that there is probably a lot of underlying depression in this case. No, to you or others it may not make sense to off yourself since he could just have pick another job now. Well obviously the answer is that the Australian study is flawed. It doesn't include stare rape, thought rape, regret rape, or rape by way of mansplaining. On a more serious note that Australian study seems to show a more accurate view of reality. Should be a reasonable length people go to to make other people feel safe i.e. don't walk around in public with a hockey mask on or carry around machetes. They feel you should cater even to unreasonable expectations such as men can't be on the streets after 7 pm or have men legally barred from disagreeing with women because those things make someone feel unsafe.
