Let me ask you something...if you're a cocky asshole, do you really think girls will slob on your knob? Do you think employers will be enamored by you? Here's the truth: it may seem like TRP is an asshole's mentality, and that one has to be a pure asshole to make things work. But that's far from true. Rather, you need to be respectful, coherent, and civilized, and work on your value and status, simultaneously.

There was a lovely post on here a while ago discussing why arranged marriages led to the reigning of beta males in India. It’s sad, but it’s improving over there in that regard. Personally, I’ve never been hit with a naan roller. I’ve gotten pushed and slapped across the face, but I was acting like a little shit, so I’ll say that I deserved it.

There’s a psychological concept I read about that relates to your first paragraph. It’s that in the end, there’s a selfish side to every human action. So, you’re absolutely right when you say you should assume that every person in front of you has a selfish side; not that that’s a bad thing, as rational narcissism is the key to success and satisfaction (key word being rational).

You could even say that comfort and a lack of change and motion in life leaves only coal.

Agreed. If anybody here isn't a fan of cardio, something I've been doing is sprinting around with a basketball for a good 20-30 minutes before lifting. Shooting hoops and sprinting is way more interesting than treadmills or bikes, in my opinion.

You should be an author of some sort; this was hilarious to read.

Two twin girls - one is average, the other looks toned and fit. Otherwise identical. Who do you pick? Both...all jokes aside, good post. The gym is very much a mental thing as it is a physical one. It's a question if you want to better than you are now, and if you want to be better than what you were yesterday, etc.

Hence why I give my parents as little insight to my thoughts and actions as possible. I may live with them, but that doesn't mean I have to accept their blue-pill agenda and methods.

I personally don't know if it's something that girls "know" explicitly...but it's hardwired into their minds from the minute we're born. Aside from different technological and civilization benefits, we're really not that different from the cavemen/women from the ancient times.

I agree with you. No offense, but I think that being a dick, unless it's to someone who genuinely deserves it, is actually really counterproductive to success. But, I do think there has to be a selfishness to a man's motives; you have to do things out of self-love and under a desire to maximize self-benefit. Not just because somebody else told you to do it. You can be a self-motivated and an extremely self-loving human being, and still be well-mannered and respectful.

Had a feeling I'd see this here. That law is also why you never, EVER, EVER talk about TRP in public. I made the mistake of telling my two roommates about it, and they're acting butthurt because I've been working out and trying to improve myself without them in tow.

I don’t think so. I’ve just combined low carbs + intermittent fasting, I do stronglifts three times a week, and I sleep (or at least I try to) for 8 hrs a night. Also, a great deal of my stomach fat is gone.

Neutral: Looked into Carl Jung's Shadow concept. Not too important, yet not minor, as it is important to know yourself fully, and the negative attributes that are a part of you. Received a 98 on my Business Calculus exam and a 100 on a Microsoft Excel/Access Quiz. One could argue these fall under positives, but I find myself neutral because I expected to do well, without any doubts. Had a call with my psychologist yesterday; we mainly talked about the shadow concept, and I brought up my hypothes…

Dude, I used to be like this (fucking ADD). It nearly made me kill myself, so, I had to change that. Now, I'm of the idea that I can't control everything that people think of me; shit's too hard and complicated. I'll just do me and what I like doing, and if they don't like it, they can go and let the door hit them on the way out. Point is, your real friends come about when you are yourself, and when you're not trying to be someone you're not.

Dude, it's amazing as hell. Like, ignore the added attention and respect shit for a second; it's also refreshing to walk and not be out of breath from walking at a somewhat fast clip. 13 pounds lost in the last month (161 to 148), and everything feels good.

It's not just that I'm not doing this for some bitch either. I'm not doing this for anyone but myself. You know, for nearly the first 19 years of my life (I turn 19 on Sunday, started following TRP back in early to mid March), I felt like I always had to answer to others and please them before I could please myself. After a really low period last semester, where I had to withdraw to deal with some suicidal tendencies, I came back this semester, and I'm doing better now, but all I could feel was …

I'm at a weird spot right now; I'm a lot better in multiple various areas of my life: fitness (StrongLifts), diet ("no-carb" diet + intermittent fasting), confidence (talking to more people that I meet in my day to day life), and dedication (sticking to routines). But the two things I'm still trying to work on is frame and game. For example, my two other roommates have been acting passive aggressive and dishonest with me, all because I've been working out without them (It may seem like a double …

Feminists are anything but martyrs; the radical ones are the cunts that are trying to cut men down and make them less than what they should be. Thank fucking Christ I found this sub.

The fucked up thing is that this is exactly how I pictured my life to play out before. Now? Fuck that. I'm in this world for me, not some bitch.

Dude, this describes my old mindset to a T. I know you posted this ages ago, but this is incredibly fucking accurate. So many fucking guys I see in my residence hall and even in other places on campus have little to no drive or initiative, and it shows through how they talk about academics, life, ambitions, and how their body language is set. After starting to embrace this Red Pill mindset, I really started having less and less patience for guys with no initiative. I worked out with my roommates…

Something you said above there reminded me of a quote said by John Gotti. This goes back to what you said about how people think being nice is enough to get hot girls and good things. "Because a guy's nice to you, you might say that makes him a good guy. That makes him a motherfucker to me. It don't make him a good guy." Granted, he was a slimy piece of shit, but that quote does have some truth to it. At the end of the day, you can be the nicest person in the universe, but it does not mean that …

Excellently written. I recently had to trade in my oneitis for the sake of advancing further. Her and I had some falling out way back when, and so, when I was drunk last week, I finally apologized for it. And then, the next morning, I blocked her on everything I had. Good riddance, see you, the end; I gave her what she wanted to hear, and I did what I needed to see. And you know what? Since doing that, the world seems a lot more brighter and open than before. I was getting lunch an hour ago, and…

Not gonna lie, Bulls honestly seems really trashy. Might just be me who thinks that though. I go to the GFC a lot in my spare time, and the Ugly Tuna seems nice.

I wouldn't game online if you can help it, phones and internet dating systems are very shallow and cut out your genuine persona which is your most powerful hook into any relationship with anyone. That's honestly a good call about video games. I haven't really bit into the whole Fortnite/PUBG craze taking over everywhere. At best, I might play on my old DS, but that's been happening less and less with time. Keep reading TRP but bare in mind that many people will wise up early to your behaviors an…

I get that quite a bit! No, not exactly. I heard Kurt Cobain’s cover of ‘The Man Who Sold The World’, and I loved it. This is the one that he did at Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged concert.

It's about going forward, never back. I've struggled with one-itis for a good deal of time, but eventually, after discovering this sub, I've come to realize that forgetting about her is a must. That dumpster's still burning, and I'm sure as fuck not reaching my hand in there ever again.

Well, first off, I don't romanticize them. Second, I was just wondering all this BECAUSE of what you just said; what if high intelligence individuals can note how to use those traits to their advantage, and thus avoid the crash and burn that is associated with dark triad traits?
