This is the attitude I like to hear This statement is very telling. If you are as RP as you say you are, then why do you feel the need to get validation from Internet strangers? More importantly, why are you DEERing whenever an internet stranger provides criticism to any degree?

You're absolutely right. The stay plan is the same as the go plan but I obviously want the stay plan to be my outcome. I need to internalize the outcome being the man I become. Thanks

What's S/B/D? Edit: squat/bench/deadlift. Got it. Yes. The ratios are terrible. I had injured my low back 4 months ago putting too much weight on the bar too quickly. So I had to reset my S to 135# and work my way back up. Still working on D form so there's no low back pain. Edit 2: squat reset was due to knee pain. Thankfully I'm feeling healthy now. I'm cutting but expect lifts to improve slightly over next two months.

No, those are actually my lifts.

That would calculate to an FFMI of 22+. Based on your lifts, there is no way. At 18% you would have visible (but not highly defined) six pack abs nearly 24/7. Consider yourself 25-30% BF, a fat lard, until otherwise proven. I see the hint of abs but they are not visible. Maybe 20-22% body fat? This is the first I'm hearing of FFMI. I'll research it more. Any tips for measuring body fat accurately? I've tried the calipers in the past but was concerned about consistency in measurements. Thanks in …

you could actually be a good candidate for Monk Mode. I'll search for some more info on monk mode. Thanks Like fun or passion for anything is absent from your life. This. Which of your hobbies can you go all-in on? Martial arts and shooting guns come to mind. Other than that, paddle boarding or possibly rock climbing. I haven't rock climbed in awhile.

Burn it down and start anew. Decided divorce was the best option, currently going through it and expect it to be done in April sometime. Time to reboot. 6'3" 221 pounds and 18% bodyfat. My near-term goal is 208 pounds and 13% bodyfat. I'm working out twice a day and eating 2800 calories per day. RMR is 2350. Been getting some looks from women but I still have approach anxiety. Inner game is where I am going to focus for the next few weeks. Although I put up a tough exterior, inside I'm insecure …

Thanks for your comment. Makes much more sense. My N count is low, so I'm looking for more TRP at this point but I know I still have lots of weaknesses to work on if and when I want an LTR.

It's the lack of Single sparing partner that is the most jarring part of the situation. I know there are the last remnants of my old BP self hiding in the shadows, and I know my exwife would help me find those in a heart beat. /u/thefamilyalpha had a post about burning everything down to the ground (your old self/crutches/ego) before you can be reborn anew like a Phoenix. I just don't want to build a high-rise building on quicksand... I'll check out your post history

Significant physical self improvement. Inner game has improved as well. External game leaves much to be desired. I've been reading bang and I bought day bang, the natural, and a text game book. As far as where I was on the dread ladder, I was using game on the wife and it as obvious she wasn't open to it. I would say number 2 above is the reason for the divorce. Someone asked me awhile back what value she adding to my life. It recently clicked inside my head, like a light bulb went off, and my a…

Start with some updates (1) I realized I was being too hard on myself, and thinking about the ways I should have acted, instead of focusing on taking future actions to improve. The emphasis is on TAKING action, and not thinking about taking action. I'm very good at intellectual masterbation and just having thought processes of what a RedPil man should act like, but I am in danger of simply thinking about these things and not putting them into practice. (2) I had some displays of lower value thes…

Mission Statement: With an understanding of what I can control and what I cannot, I will choose the life I want to live and become the man I want to be by continuously improving myself everyday, even if only by a small margin. My motto is that 1's are greater than 0's. Things outside my control will be ignored and I will exclusively focus on becoming a man that other men want to be and other women want to fuck. The Man I want to be: A strong, confident, and assertive man who does and says what h…

You should know what you really want to do without regards to how she may react. If you want to sleep, sleep. If you want to fuck, then fuck. If you are unplugging like me, you might be confused to what you really want. What helps me is to ask yourself, "what would a healthy male do in this situation?" Usually that's all you need to mentally ask yourself to engage your masculinity from within and intuitively know what to do next.

Physical - owning. Been lifting and doing cardio ten+ times a week. Eating healthy and light. Need to back off the alcohol again. Super bowl plus other events pushed whiskey count to 10 for the week. Want to get that down to zero to balance. Spiritual - needs work. Only meditating once or twice a week. Want to feel and trust my gut more which typically only happens if I have extreme mindfulness. Goal is 15 min of meditation each day this week. Psychological - reading the rational male. Lots of g…

Kill the inner beta Mind frame has been slipping back to oneitis. Need to set goal of cold approaching women, one per day. I'm still identifying as a nice guy. I'm going to become aware of all situations where I am attempting to gain someone else's approval. I haven't been posting here because I don't want to victim puke, however I have been victim puking to friends in real life which has just painted the wife as the bad guy and distracted me from the reality that I am the cause of and solution …

Context Beta my whole life. After reading NMMNG, I realized that I resented my father for being "mean" to my mother and promised myself as a young boy to treat my woman like a goddess (pussy on the pedestal). Dated my wife in college, proposed to her after graduation in order lock her up. Became complacent - fat & lazy (6' 3" 250#). Married 5 years. I've been MRP aware for 15 months. I half assed shit. Didn't read all the books, started a bunch but never finished. Now I'm on day 5 since wife sai…

I've never done one of these and it's hurt my journey immensely. I had a post last night on MRP where the comments helped shine a light on things that need to be fixed asap. In the past, I would let the abstract idea of being perfect prevent me from actually accomplishing anything. I always thought if you are going to do something, do it right or don't do it at all. Fuck That. From now on I'm just going to do and let the cards fall how they may. Including this OYS post. Heres a list of things I …

Keep lifting and develop a strong frame and you won't care what she thinks. I don't care too much about what she thinks of me, other than as a mirror for how well I'm doing on my self improvement journey. Looking back I should have fixed her feelings and not the literal content of her concern. How did you handle the speech? Just keep working on your confidence and actually proving abundance Proving abundance has yet to happen. I assume you mean attacting other women and having her notice?

Yes. I agree wholeheartedly. My response to her talk was not very red pill of me but all I was thinking is how do I buy myself time to kick my MAP (which isn't drafted yet) into gear. I directly addressed her lack of hope and said if it's not going to work then we should just end it now, but if we love each other than let's give it one last shot. (I was trying to be outcome independent)

Seems like she settled for you. I used to not be a great husband. I was fat and lazy. I'm much less fat and not as lazy but I'm not quite there yet. She did settle for me but things are going to be different going forward. Did she ride the CC hard? CC riders will hardly be satisfied with only one cock for the rest of their lives. About average for a college girl. She had mostly long term relationships and her parents got divorced because her dad cheated on her mom. She has a high sensitivity to …

Usually she tries to hurt me verbally in her shit tests and I am getting better and better at remaining stoic. The problem I have is making fun out of it. You know... Being playful. The conversation we had tonight however was different. She wasn't trying to hurt me, in fact it was almost as if she wanted me to say - "marriage officially over" so that she could spare me of an undersexed marriage. I agree though. It doesn't matter what she says. It matters what she does

Yes.. I know... Things would get really bad with the relationship, I would start reading books and making myself better. Things would get better and I would stop reading.... That's why I said I need to actually write out a MAP and post regularly to OYS threads. Have you an MAP? How do you keep track of it?

Frame and game. Yes this is where I need improvement. What readings are best for these items specifically? Book of pook comes to mind.

Okay. Physically she is really fit and sexy and she can be extremely fun, but it seems like with me she is not as fun... That's been difficult trying to be positive and sexually turned on to approach her when sometimes she acts bitchy back to me. Sometimes I want to say fuck this, but then I remind myself that I'm not in it for the short term gratification but the long term satisfaction

I am probably a 7-8 and she is probably an HB8. She does yoga a bunch and works out. She is very opinionated and stubborn sometimes but other times she wants to follow and be submissive. She is smart and can make money but her biggest flaw is focusing on negativity and problems. I want her to start following me, but if she doesn't then I'm okay with that, assuming I can run game and pull hotties with nice butts

Flare your left elbow out and point your thumb towards your own belly button. Your thumb is not far away from the base of your dick which is where her clit should be.

If you make sure she gets hers, maybe she'll want to fuck more often. This is my hamster for the last 7 years. I love sex; therefore, if I rub her clit while I fuck her, and make sure she enjoys sex, then she will want to have sex more often. In my opinion, it is a covert contract. What it ended up creating was a lazy wife. She wants missionary where I'm fingering her clit while fucking her. It's the position she defaults to. She doesn't finger her clit because I do it better than her. She resis…

Also, fuck date night. You are creating a duty, treating your wife like a prostitute assuming she should give up sex for dinner and nursing a giant covert contract. Go on dates but don't have a date night. This is so obvious that I can't believe I didn't see the covert contract. I initiated every day for the last 3 days, one because I was horny but also because I've been tracking her cycle and ovulation was to be sometime this week. When it came to be Friday I figured it was time to wine dine an…

I've never posted in an OYS thread, mostly due to something I've needed to own for a long time: Perfect is the enemy of good. This is a common thread in many aspects of my MAP (which is still not fully fledged out, see above). My mentality has always been, if you are going to take the time to do something, you better to it right. Over time this has mutated into being binary - procrastination or overkill. I need to own my shit and balance the ratio of reading up on MRP concepts to behaving said c…

It felt nuke-ish and i knew i fucked up. Later that night I apologized because that line wasn't fair. Why wasn't it fair? Is she pregnant, or maybe disabled? Or is it just that your not allowed to criticize her? I guess when I wrote the OP I thought I was blaming her for things that I am responsible for. After reading comments, I think I am still operating in covert contracts. "If I improve myself, then you should improve yourself" as opposed to improving myself for the benefit of myself alone a…

Update on mental health: I called the Hotline and they said either police or ER. I told the wife we should go talk to someone this morning but she says she's feeling better, last night she felt shitty and she never wants to feel that way again. Today she just wants to enjoy today (it's a special occasion). She planned a few days ago on going to yoga and then a nail salon so she's going to stick to those plans. I'm going to research a therapist and make an appointment so it can be more private th…
