Sadly...you were right. Recently, we had a chat over messenger, and she nonchalantly mentioned waiting for her "bf" to visit her. I was heartbroken. Why she didn't mention that when I confessed my feelings to her, I'll never know. Why do some women like to get men's hopes up like that just to shoot them down? Fear of rejection. I've been rejected numerous times over the years ever since elementary school (some occasions even left me emotionally scarred). Never had a relationship.
