You have a good attitude. In the end the key thing is that you are independent and would do amazing on your own, you have enough people that value you, and you don’t let yourself go. I was in the same boat as you (Amazing, strong, selfless mother with stage 4 cancer). Following those three things led me to the closest I can get to my dream life.

I sometimes question the perceptiveness of people that complain about spreading at all. I've been on countless trips and I've only ever had one really bad experience. It was with a girl that must've been in her mid 20's, and she was literally sticking her leg under the seat in front of me. I will never know what compelled her to do it, since throughout the flight I shifted my body away from her just so we wouldn't be touching.
