Racism is an issue of prejudging groups. Being attracted to tan/dark skin doesn't make you racist. But saying you only date dark skinned girls because fair skinned girls universally display negative behavioral traits that non-fair skinned girls don't is racism. There is no "Unicorn Race".

Yes it is. But we shouldn't care, honestly.

Eh, not quite. If your preference for certain races is based on physical traits you're naturally attracted too, that's not racism. If you don't like certain facial features and curly hair, you might not be attracted to black girls, but you might still really like dark-skinned Asians, Persians, and other girls. If you are/are not attracted to someone based on preconceived notions about their race/ethnicity, that's racism. If you only date Asians, as an example, because "Asians make better wives b…

Are you sure what you're feeling isn't simply the thought that maybe she's going to attach herself to you, when you assumed this was an "on-the-side" arrangement?

Thank you. This is becoming abundantly clear. We're currently discussing a paper that tracks tenure by gender, and the study shows women aren't disadvantaged until children. Obviously, women are more likely, thus, to take time off. Their response, however, has been to infer that this is because fathers are perceived as "stable and reliable bread winners" and women as "unstable and unreliable because they are primary caregivers and their attention will be divided. Of course this is perception, no…

So here's the thing, I don't disagree that sexism exists, or may have an affect on hiring practices. My disagreement is in overall affect and measurability. One side says "See! Study after study proves gender bias happens!" and I say "Yeah but over here it's showing that you're out performing men..." and the response seems to be "That's not true! Look at all these studies!" I mean, how do you deal with the fact that numerous studies on hiring show clear evidence of bias, but a 140,000+ sample si…

I'm also not as versed in stats and experimental analysis with my meager throw-away BS degree that I'll never use again in my life. As a result, I may be missing something between the results of post-facto analysis vs direct experimental studies. Ex: Post-facto? vs Experimental Evidence

One of my ex's did this (fewer pics over time; I caught it before sex declined though) and said it didn't matter as much because she didn't need to try and attract me anymore. I went full logic bomb on her and talked sexual dimorphism, explained that random sexy pics / texts from her are analogous to me randomly checking up on her with "sweet" messages. Men and women want different things, but women and society seem to think male desires are temporary and dismissible. Needless to say she couldn'…

Progress, but we have to start distinguishing between rape (and attempted rape) and assault, especially considering how broadly sexual assault is defined.

Well, you can, but it doesn't make it so. Hence, when she attempts to portray herself as such it's equal parts hilarious and infuriating (probably more of the later for women who disagree with her).

I hope the courts award his son a small something for child-support he should/could have received, and award the bitch absolutely nothing. Then again, the son could be a tosser after having grown up with that harpy, and I'd rather the guy just keep what he earned.

The comments on there are pretty funny. "One comment to a woman in public is inexcusable harassment!" "Calling harmless interaction harassment doesn't trivialize real harassment!" "Her facts are taken out of context!" Paraphrased, obviously. Oh, and "She's a republican therefore her opinion doesn't matter." Good lord.

It's hilarious watching them discuss "reliability". Clearly Wikipedia is just the court of public opinion now. "Minority" views don't matter regardless of the facts / logic they're supported by. "Majority" views are considered reliable simply based on volume and public acceptance. More Pro-Anita articles exist than Anti-Anita articles, and the Pro articles that exist come from powerful media outlets (despite being written by hacks like Jessica Valenti), while Anti voices are smaller or independe…

Just saw a huge thread in my Facebook feed on this. People turn to barbarism in an instant. Endless support for vigilantism, not a single mention of letting the law take its course. We are still tribal animals at our core. Granted, this is in India, and I haven't a clue about their laws, or how prevalent rape (and getting away with it) are over there. From the few headlines I've seen, it sounds bad (or at least worse than the States).

I won't be voting for Hillary Clinton, that's for sure, but I'm open to other Democrat contenders. I'm not voting Republican either unless they suddenly give birth to some Golden Child who isn't a bat-shit religious fanatic and also doesn't want to gut the entire government / tax system.

The left tends to default to facts and logical reasoning rather than irrational beliefs. Eh, even as a Progressive I would caution against such blanket assumptions. I've heard plenty of irrational nonsense come out of the mouths of people on the left. Right Politics certainly doesn't have a monopoly on irrationality. Anyone can turn politics into emotional issues where they vote with their feelings more than their brains.

u/Nomenimion is right, in the sense of the political establishment, however, I've noticed a trend in this sub (and other similar subs) to demonize "leftists" in general simply based on mainstream politics. The prominence of Feminism among mainstream Democrats is often used to attack left politics quite broadly. While I think many of these voices are probably just a vocal minority, I don't think it will help the MRM much to draw political lines in the sand in such a way. I personally understand w…

This popped up on my Facebook feed and I'm sitting here reading it and shaking my head. "Guys" is apparently offensive when women are included in it as a descriptor. It is colloquially gender neutral, despite what some feminist blog says. Calling code "hot" is apparently sexist. What? Yes, the commenter is clearly suggesting that they wish to fornicate with the code. Question: What if the commenter is a woman, or gay? Still sexist? "Implicit Misogyny" when you assume a woman isn't technical. Bec…

There are agendas constantly at work on both sides. Feminism has its own agenda, and doesn't represent the whole of leftism or any related political leanings.

Yes, internet trolls never threaten to rape/kill men. Ever. Not in online games. Not on forums. No where. Also, when someone compliments me and I'm not attracted to them... IT'S THE WORST THING EVER.

To preface, I'm totally okay with this service and I would happily sing Disney songs and paint nails for $125 an hour. You could pay me half that and I'd still be just fine with objectifying myself. I go to the gym in the morning because I like to look good... for myself and for others. That said, I couldn't help but imagine the massive hypocrisy that would take place if LadyServant popped up. I don't know if the Wiki article has changed, but yesterday it basically started out by calling the entire games industry and core gamers "misogynist", and went from there. The Talk page is pretty interesting. A lot of people aren't happy about the clear bias in the article.

Telling feminists not to comment on male issues is just as bad as feminists telling us we can't talk about issues affecting women. I don't mind turning the tactics around occasionally, but let's not stoop to attacking freedom of speech, no matter how inane said speech might be.

You're right about the double standard, though her actions are learned, and the BF further enabled her behavior by not immediately putting a stop to it (not justifying, don't worry). "You hit me once. The next time it happens we're DONE." Instead he just continues to take it and tries to fight her / "defend" himself.

Basically just apply TRP to your interactions with your old buddies. AA when they give you shit, or freeze them out (be non-reactive). Be cocky when it matters. Often I've built the most value with other guys by being quiet and contemplative (visually engaged), and then dropping bombs on them when I know they're full of shit. You don't necessarily have to be overtly Alpha. Just command respect.

I've been lead to believe that high SMV males should be getting women thrown onto them due to abundance. Seems like you're expecting women to literally pick YOU up based on your SMV, without you having to lay any groundwork. You should be getting more IOIs than lower SMV guys, but don't expect a role reversal. The only time I've had women overtly pull me was after I'd already created heavy sexual tension while being 100% outcome independent.

That's some fedora-tipping nonsense masquerading as frame-holding / "not giving a fuck". Him: "If you cheated on me we'd be done." Her: "What if I was drunk though?" Him: "This is a silly and immature conversation to be having and if I choose to entertain having it, it will be in a private setting." Seriously? She's asking to be hypothetically forgiven for cheating on him in front of his friends. You chop block that shit immediately and make sure her, and everyone else, knows the score. She expe…

"Regular everyday makeup is accepted because it's used to highlight or hide blemishes" This is such bullshit. Have they not seen women these days? You can't hardly tell what half of women actually look like considering how much eyeliner and shit they wear.

This "journalist" did the same thing. "Chris Pratt is a narcissistic douchebag!" Oh, but the "WOMEN ARE VICTIMS!" waterworks turned fullthrottle for JLaw and the recent leaks. Yes, I realize the difference between the two cases, but it's the fact that men who take selfies are considered douchebags and women who take selfies have to be PROTECTED because female sexuality is SACRED. Fucking pathetic, hypocritical bullshit.

TRP is extremist? There are certainly people there with extreme views (most of them are just angry and hurt), but I don't think the basic tenants of that "movement" are extreme by any means.

You're 5'10" and not even 150lbs / 67kg. Eat some protein, lift some weights. Do weighted core exercise. Can't show muscle that ain't there. Once you've got some mass on your ass THEN start worrying about showing your abs.

It's just one of those things where it's outside the norm, catches people off guard, and they don't know how to react. It'll change eventually. It was annoying, because it didn't matter. "Are you a couple?" "No, we're not". That was a perfectly okay question, but it should have ended there. It didn't surprise me much coming from Stern though. He's a shock jock, so of course he's going to make a point out of it.

"Integration" is proving to be a failure in our schools. Boys are falling behind because classes are being changed under the assumption that girls/women STILL need a leg up and DON'T actually have equal educational opportunity. I won't be surprised if the fight for women in the workplace sees the success of men start to plummet.

There's some new feminist meme #IfIWereABoy or some shit... one such hashtag activist is pictured holding a sign that says "I would never ask a woman to "smile"." Of all the cat-calling to get upset about, this has to be the absolute tamest, most benign shit someone could give a fuck about.

I take less issue with Barack's interpretation because it's actually a joke. Michelle just tosses it out there, grins, and watches the crowd lap it up. Neither is productive in the end though. It's just pandering.

Dance classes. In the summer the crowd gets younger because college girls tend to drop in more. Outside of that, the age range seems more 20s-30s as long as you're in the right area. Plus, it's just fun and good exercise. I like Swing because it's very upbeat, but I've done latin dance in the past as well.

Getting that impression from the responses. Would have been nice info from any previous LTRs... not that they're going to give me tips to help their competition. I definitely have different mannerisms that come out when texting women vs men. I'll keep it in mind.

Haha, not butthurt, it just seemed like she double-tapped me and I wanted to make sure I didn't look at it wrong. You're making it more complicated than it is. Plenty of women bounce between Alphas and Betas before and after the wall. It's not like every hot girl exclusively fucks Alphas until 30 and then settles. Meet Alpha -> Get treated like shit -> Find a Beta -> Get bored -> Repeat. This can apply after the wall too. Settle for Beta -> Get bored -> Fuck Alpha -> Regret -> Atone etc

Genital Herpes (Type II) is prevalent in over 15% of the U.S. population (20% for women). Oral Herpes (Type I) is prevalent in over 50% of the population. Condoms are not a perfect defense, but cut transmission rates in half. Condoms + antivirals further cuts transmission in half again (ex: if the base rate is 12%, condoms drop it to 6%, and condoms + antivirals drop it to 3%). As for HPV, it's estimated that roughly 80% of women contract HPV by age 50. Prevalence among 20-24yo women is closing …

I feel like this must have something to do with pack mentality. Humans evolved as pack hunters, and dogs/wolves (also pack hunters) evolved alongside us for the past 30,000 or so years. Men who are cat lovers are weird to me... ಠ_ಠ When I daydream about retirement, I picture 5 acres of open land, a small house, and two mutts. As much as I love sex and want a loyal woman, that piece of the dream is rarely automatic. :P

Reaching a little with the title, but I do agree... there would definitely be a backlash of "How dare you suggest all womyn have to conform to your societal standard! This. It's only submissive if that's the frame you set. If she's shoving your face in there and calling you a bitch... you're being submissive. If you have her folded in half and she's grabbing at the headboard to keep her neck from snapping while you're going to town... you're being dominant. It's the difference between going down because it's what she wants, and going down because it's what you want.

Nowadays it's reduced to drinking beer, hot dog eating contests and waving flags. You mean like it has for the last 30 years? Sure, there's more "MURICA" dick waving than ever before, but a lot of it is largely satire. Do you think people stay at home and read history on Canada Day or Australia Day in those respective countries? No, they get fat and drunk. People enjoy excess. And yeah, the political scene is probably the worst it's ever been. So? Let people enjoy their day off (if they're lucky…

This right here. Staying with it and exaggerating signals a) she doesn't have the power to throw you out of frame, and b) you have a sense of humor and can laugh at yourself. I'm also making a pretty big assumption that OP is blowing the "dumb bitch voice" out of proportion. If she was really being a bitch and mocking you then ignore it. If she's being playful about it and teasing (I.E. FLIRTING) then you play along and escalate the joke.

In addition, I had seen headlines about Mila's "we are pregnant" speech and I was expecting some airheaded Hollywood rant... but it turns out it was just an overly dramatic joke.
