Should I do an AMA? haha

Yes. I will say, Reddit has an over representation of the lonely.

As a conservative woman, I would agree with this.

Planning the office Christmas party is much less stressful than creating a pill to cure diseases. She can cook dinner even if she gets home later.

Women don't work as hard as men there's no way around it.

Women have been in the workforce for long enough that we don't need to give ourselves a pat on the back for paying bills

I would lose attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 06:04 PM

That's what happens when you double the workforce and companies have to take on more costs for HR
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 06:03 PM

Yup. They run from responsibility.

Men will never be comfortable in the nurturing home making role. That's why they need to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 06:00 PM

But they still earn less than men on average. An office manager and a chemical engineer are both technically both still part of the workforce- but the office manager still does much less. So yeah, it's fair she picks up the slack at home.

Oh yeah. If they ask "what do you bring to the table" offer to pay and then block them. Even if they were willing to pay for you, he'd make you earn every cent.

Autistic women are not coddled growing up either. If you're "weird" growing up, you fixed (masked) that behavior quickly.

Anecdotally, our thanksgivings have gotten a lot more peaceful since my sister cut us all off for voting for Trump. Now we just spend our thanksgiving watching football and talking about what we're up to instead of arguing about politics. Like yeah, you sure showed us lol.

Not understanding -why- people place the family hierarchy over objective right and wrong is struggling with black and white thinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 06:06 PM
4

And as an ND woman, I really don't have any sympathy for them. The idea that because I'm also ND I'm supposed to be more understanding or more patient is not fair. If anything, they manipulate us more.

This is true. I have a friend who won't go on a second date if the guy doesn't ask her to walk her back to her car. Not every guy is going to know to offer that.

I dated an Eastern European man who was horrified whenever I'd reach for my wallet. He said it was emasculating.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 05:46 PM
4

Exactly. My husband didn't have two dimes to rub together when I met him. He did pay for my coffee on our first date to show that he was raised right, but dating through college we just took turns getting each other back. Meanwhile, I once had a guy get irate because I wouldn't sleep with him because he bought me a chipotle bowl. He must have been really struggling if he was using a burrito bowl as a hail mary for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 05:42 PM

Yup. It was a hard shift "becoming" hot (or men started to notice me, whatever) once I grew up and into my face. They can be really insidious- I feel like they absolutely could tell I wasn't used to attention.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 04:04 PM

And as someone with an ugly ducking background, I now realize as I've gotten older, being hot and not taking advantage of it, men thought I was a sucker. They were fulling willing and able to pay for me, I just didn't know I could ask.

Yes. The learned helplessness is across the political and social spectrum for me. -an actual conversation I had- Conservative Man: I want a nice conservative woman who hasn't been ran through Me: Oh, I would suggest maybe joining a church or moving to a more conservative area Conservative Man: No there's simply not enough conservative women all women are single mother leftists now Me: (you're a big baby)

I find this so interesting seeing how my husband and his friends interact with each other. It's more of parallel play than actually talking to one another. Me: How was hanging out with friend? Husband: Good, he said him and his girlfriend broke up Me: Oh is he doing okay? Husband: He seems fine Me: Why did they break up? Husband: Idk he didn't say

Every guy that's ever been shitty to me has come from a two parent, college educated (and were college educated themselves) and were well like and respected in their communities. Sure, let's give the woman who becomes baby mama #6 a hard time. She probably had something go wrong in her life to make her think that's a good option. But let's not act like you have to be the villain out of a Tyler Perry movie to be shitty towards women.

I did choose better. I ended up marrying a chad who played hockey in high school. Nerdy/Loser/Outcast men will always resent anyone who gave them a chance, and their behavior will show it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 05:49 PM

Exactly. Sexual chemistry is important. That's why so many men end up at the strip clubs or having affairs because it turns out the "nice" girl doesn't magically fuck like a pornstar when you put a ring on her finger.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 05:16 PM

Many women end up marrying their hookups. You have to test the car before you buy it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 03:25 PM

Oh yeah. I literally had one guy threaten to kill me in college because I slept with his roommate, so he assumed I'd do the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 03:23 PM
7

Oh yeah. It took me -one- time getting fucked over by the weird, anime loving, "sensitive" guys to realize you're better off dating chads and brads. They don't hide their narcissism.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 03:00 PM

Exactly. Very few women are kept nowadays. Most are working. Women usually take the house because that's where their kids live and men aren't interested in full custody.

What stuff?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 02:55 PM

I agree with this. I wanted to get married, so I found a man to marry me. Some women don't act strategically when it comes to this stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 02:55 PM

This is correct. I am upper middle class and my summers are still packed with weddings every weekend. It's a social norm that's not going away anytime soon in these circles.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 02:44 PM

Right. We are putting the cart before the horse. They can't have housewives because many of them still live in apartments.

And I'm saying NEETS would be just as parasitic as Bezos if given the opportunity. You lack capital, not greed.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 06:23 PM

I mean, I remember dating and being rejected really sucks. It's hard to not take personally, especially if it's appearance related. Rejection can do a lot to someone's self esteem.

What are you viewing reddit on? A cell phone? A laptop?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 06:15 PM

So until you feel society is entitled to your contribution, who feeds you? Your parents? The state?

NEETs are a burden on society regardless of gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 06:11 PM

Entitlement is entitlement. If you're ethics are "Well, I'm not as bad as jeff Bezos." that's not a high bar to clear.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 06:07 PM
1

I hate hustle culture and believe heavily in WFM and a 4-day work week. But to contribute nothing to society, by choice, is not upholding your end of the social contract. We need doctors, bus-drivers, cooks, etc. to keep society running. We all have a part to play.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 06:06 PM
1

Most women have not decentered men- so yes, I believe some consciously or subconsciously get angry when ignore them, even if they were going to reject them in the first place. That's why not being male centered is so important for women to grow out of.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 06:05 PM
1

That is awesome. As someone who was so romance obsessed when I was younger, I wish I had put more time into fostering platonic relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 06:03 PM
1

Okay, so if I go and steal a old woman's pocketbook, it's impacting way fewer people than billionaires so it's fine right? The hate boners y'all have have fried your brains. You don't get a carte blanche to be parasitic because Jeff Bezos exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 06:01 PM
1

I'm sorry, but expecting you parents to work into their 70s to pay for your housing and food is just as entitled.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 05:54 PM
1

Yeah, it's confirmation bias.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 05:48 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 07:06 PM

Yes. I did 10 years of therapy, I've tried every SSRI, and the happiest I've ever been (currently) is because I now cook most meals, significantly cut out alcohol, and move my body every day.

Our founding fathers restricting voting to land owning men. You know, the people with actual skin in the game. It's completely American.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 04:25 PM

I mean, honestly as a woman working in corporate, I do believe that lol. But do what works for your family. I choose to not have to come home at the end of a long day and lead a household.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 04:11 PM
2

The positions aren't equal, correct. There are female CEOs too.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 04:06 PM
-1

Why would I want a poor person's opinion on who should lead our country? Cause they're known for their great decision making skills? You can't pick a decent father for your kid but I want your opinion on who should lead the free world?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 04:04 PM
2

Of course. No one said otherwise. He's the CEO of our household. I'm the VP.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 04:04 PM
2

The husband is the head of the family unit. Some of us still believe that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 04:00 PM
2

I find the independence thing to be really insecure imo. I literally make more money than my husband. I have two master's degrees. Yet somehow, I become a dependent by changing my name. But hey, if all these women have is their last name, I get the feminist stink about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:59 PM
1

I wanted to honor this new stage of life by changing my name. It was a rebrand for me as well. I am a wife now. Yes, it's for each woman to choose. I will say (I live in a progressive area) I've gotten some push back from other women for it. I promise, the feminist movement is not so flimsy that it's going to be ruined by me changing my name.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:57 PM
1

As someone who happily took my husband's last name, it felt like we were becoming one cohesive unit and family. Language and words matter, and if they didn't, there wouldn't be a thousand think pieces on it. It significates that I am leaving my father's family to join my husband's, and I couldn't be prouder of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:55 PM

I have a passport. If you struggle with paperwork, no I actually don't want you participating in the future of the country thanks.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:49 PM

Yes. I am happier, hotter, and healthier after TRP. I got rid of the "they should love me for who I am" nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:46 PM

Accepting things as they are has done wonders for my mental health. I was a really idealistic young person who wanted everything to be fair, equitable, etc. That's never going to happen. Human nature is based off of hierarchies.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:45 PM
3

Dominant men are naturally more dominant and more likely to succeed. But yeah, not everyone gets a trophy. There's always a weaker elephant that the bull will kick out of the heard.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:40 PM
4

And yet, some women do meet that standard. I have zero reason to not have sex with my husband unless I'm sick or super tired or something. I also tackle the majority of the housework too. Again, that's your perspective and you're entitled to find someone who shares your value. But I wouldn't say my husband's expectations are "too high" when he met a woman who is completely fine with these conditions.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/25 03:08 PM
1

Yes, I think it's whiney.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 04:51 PM

But you can vote for how much you pay. And until we want to go back to bartering, taxes aren't going to go anywhere. You can complain all you like- but I think that's whiney behavior. Dating is completely optional. You are welcome to opt out at any time.

Shera 7 has some controversial takes but I always think of "Never take offense from a broke man's mouth...they're fighting for survival" and it always rings true. Spitting facts

It's Saturday babe.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 03:02 PM

It's not my opinion, it's biology. The bond between a mom and child is nothing that can replicated in any sort of other relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 03:01 PM
6

I would argue women's enrollment in higher education and career advancement is women no longer expecting men to provide for them. What is the percentage of women completely dependent on a man's income?I assume it's less than the majority. As for controlling our emotions/emotional, there's really no incentive to other than the "golden rule" like we learn in school. Men do not reward, or even pay attention to, the most constant or tepid women among us. The evilest women I've ever known have always…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 03:00 PM

Moms. Moms have a different bond then fathers do. Fathers have no problem walking away from their children.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:52 PM

Don't complain then. No one has ever made a choice for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:51 PM
3

What does growing up mean? Paying bills?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:50 PM
2

You don't want to hear it, but if you're lonely and sad, lower your standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:41 PM
2

Yup. I'm from the country and there's plenty of women who just want to sit around and watch their men play video games all day like OP is looking for. I remember those girls (now women) though I was the weird one for thinking that was boring. However, she's not going to be impressive to other men, so they're not interested. It's homoerotic to a certain degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:38 PM
7

Everything always goes back to money. Men have less of it nowadays, so they have to convince women to be with them some other way. I guess they're going the hopeless romantic route now.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:33 PM
0

Everyone says that. It's the right thing to say. Yet there's CHOMOs who's Moms are still putting money on their books every day.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:30 PM
6

Sounds like we are biologically superior then to not have attachments that don't serve us.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:28 PM
3

I do believe he is right, as a red piller myself. The woman with the most resources (her looks) will always attract the men with the most resources (their money). The only ones complaining about women not loving them for who they are, are poor men.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:22 PM
3

Oh yeah. Plenty of women will still stand by a man just to say they have one. But they're usually lower-class women and not the instagram models these guys are gooning too.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:21 PM
2

Men are making less money than ever and are being left behind academically and professionally. I get why they're bitter but it's not women's fault. A woman who is happy with spending her anniversary at McDonalds is a woman they're not interested anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:19 PM
4

You are so bitter lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:14 PM
3

Do most?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:09 PM
2

Biology. Human mothers are biologically wired to protect their children no matter what.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:07 PM
2

Sure. I guess. We are the world and all of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 02:06 PM
5

Am I more than my brain which tells me what to think, "feel" and do? The answer is no unless you are religious or believe in the metaphysical. No matter my will power, I will still be hungry around lunch time. I will still need to use the restroom after drinking my coffee. There's no way I can ever be "more" than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 12:48 PM
7

Yes. Love is a verb, not a feeling. I always think of those deadbeat/shit parents who are like "I love my kids more than life." Okay, but you won't get a job for them. You won't cook healthy meals for them. You won't get sober. But because you feel love you think your relationship to your children has any value.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 12:40 PM
1

Love is a biological reaction to get us to mate. Unless you're religious or give romantic love some inherent value (and romance is nice don't get me wrong), it's really not the gotcha you think it is. We are mammals still fighting every day for survival.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 12:39 PM
2

Unconditional love is for children.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/25 12:28 PM

I see it in my own company. More emphasis on diversity and inclusion. Making sure everyone "feels heard" and "seen". It's about us, not the clients and everyone is looking at each other confused on why we can't close deals. We're not aggressive enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/25 11:06 PM

I completely agree. I don't blame men for checking out of a society that hates them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/25 09:07 PM

And women can't be trusted with the nuclear codes if they still get their periods if we're going to go the bioessentialism route.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/25 06:04 PM

Yes. Pretty women are still going to college just to get MRS. degrees. It's the ugly ones racking up debt.

They will have no one left to blame. I was on the leadership board of my sorority. It's matriarchy on a smaller scale, but gosh, women are vicious.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/25 01:54 PM
0

Exactly. Most women are not feminists. Feminists are just the loudest. In the 1900s I probably wouldn't have fought for the right to vote either. I'd probably be too busy with a large family.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/25 01:53 PM

Red Pill is just seeing human nature for how it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/25 01:30 PM

Then men as a majority are undisciplined.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 09:31 PM

So many men lack sexual discipline like fat people do with food.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 09:14 PM

She deserves better than someone who is commenting "facial" on reddit whores. She let your blood line live on and that's how you repay her. Zero sexual discipline.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 07:14 PM
7

you're and yet your comment history is still you thirsting over women online and always talking about sex. What a lucky woman...
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 07:08 PM
5

And I find that to be undisciplined.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 07:03 PM
9

Yeah, I feel bitchy the week before my period too. That's because of testosterone. I'm still disciplined enough to overpower my hormones with my thoughts and rationale. We're not animals. Or at least, I try to not be.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 06:58 PM
13

Again, that's where sexual discipline comes in.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 06:52 PM

Fathers are different than mothers.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 05:54 PM
1

There's more that goes into parenting than cooking and cleaning. If you make enough money, you can outsource both. To have men step in to be the primary nurtures of children, that's a lot of social reconditioning needed.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 05:54 PM
1

Call me outdated, but men and women are different. Even when my Mom did work and my Dad was taking care of us, we would still ask "where is Mom." You can't replace Mom.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 05:52 PM
1

I'm in tech consulting and yes we still have a point system for women and other minorities. Pro-tip- say you're LBGT in your EEO survey if they give you the option. It's private, but you still get the points behind the scenes. And it's not like they can verify that like you do with other attributes.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 05:49 PM
1

I agree with this. My company has a women's ERG despite our leadership teams being equitable and I think we may have a majority female base. Yet every March we have to have "women's month" where the office is decorated in florals with mandatory struggle session about how hard it is to be a woman in consulting. My success in my career is not determined by what's in between my legs. I wish we would just stop talking about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 05:48 PM
1

If women were actually choosing the bear my fyp would not be filled with single mothers and my group chat would not be blowing up with another instance of my bestie being ghosted after fucking some random from hinge. I wish women would actually choose the bear, so we didn't have to hear so much bitching.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 05:43 PM
1

Women aren't choosing the bear though. Women continue to choose narcissistic, misogynistic men. There's still lines out the door of women going to frat houses and bars wherever these men congregate. The only losers in this feminist society are feminist men. They are trying to reach an unobtainable standard while Chads and Brads continue to fuck "feminist" women on college campuses across America.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 05:42 PM
2

They don't want equality. They want revenge. Most liberal theory can be boiled down to "Screw you dad."
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 05:40 PM
0

As it should. I think unmarried, childless people should pay higher taxes. The less family is able to support you, the more the state has to step in.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 05:38 PM
27

So why don't men stop fucking down? Do they not have the sexual discipline to stop?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/25 03:57 PM
3

I'm 28. So, my fridge is currently covered with wedding invitations. (I am upper middle class if that's helps). Biology always wins. People will always continue to settle down if they have the means to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 05:00 PM

I'm a consultant, so I'm around wealthy men every day. They're all married. Being married is and always be a status symbol. Especially if she stays home. But yeah, the men I'm around don't really talk like that. I think that lexicon is reserved for podcast bros and day traders. Not anyone with generational wealth.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:53 PM

I don't see divorce as a bad thing. No one leaves a happy marriage. I've also never seen a woman get a divorce and do worse in life...
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:51 PM

I'm a blue-collar wife, and I'm sure their exes didn't randomly just wake up one day and decided to break up their families. Substance abuse, not knowing how to manage money (how many of them have financed fancy trucks?), expecting traditional gender roles while also spending as least time as possible with your family. My husband is an outlier- I would not otherwise put up with a man in the trades.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:49 PM

Anything worth doing requires risk. Spending 100k on my degree. Risky. Ended up in a high paying job without debt though. Investing in the stock market. Risky. I've done fairly well investing though. Hell, getting in your car to drive to work is risky, statistically.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:44 PM

A lot of men want to marry an overgrown teenager and then are pichachu shocked when she comes to collect after being treated like a pet for years or decades.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:41 PM

If I could go back and do it over, I wouldn't live with a man until we were engaged. There's too much wifey shit they expect at girlfriend prices.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:38 PM

Right. Marrying for love is a very recent concept. Women for the majority of history have had to marry as best they could being that they had little rights. I'm no feminist, but feminism has done more for broke men than any other movement.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:31 PM

Yeah, I'm married and my response to these long form essays is "okay don't get married." No one is making anyone do things they don't want do.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:21 PM
1

Yup. They'll make a below average guy jump through woke feminist hoops and cut him off the minute he says something out of line. And there are still lines to get into frat parties at every college campus in America.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:15 PM
2

Chads usually are republicans. The system works for them. It's a chicken and the egg scenario. Of course, the men who believe life, society, the man, whatever is doing them wrong so we need to make things more -equal- vote democrat.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 04:13 PM
6

If you looked at my liberal friends' rosters, it looks like a trump rally. Women are all talk. Don't listen to us.

look through the sub... the learned helplessness nowadays...
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 12:03 AM

What does catch up to her mean? I could move to a new city a thousand miles away and just lie about my past. I've never been pregnant and got tested after every partner. No one would ever know. Maybe "word gets out" matters if you live in the town from Footloose, but that's not really the attitude anyone has towards sex in any modern metro area.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 10:02 PM
1

That's why it's "girls gone wild" and not "already wild girls" Men want the fantasy that they're so manly and sexy, we are unlocking special privileges special just for them. If women are enjoying it too, it's almost a turn off.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 09:56 PM
1

Causation =/= Correlation Are these people more religious? From smaller communities? Lower education and income levels so divorce is harder?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 09:49 PM
1

I mean, I'm a retired hoe who's been married for several years now. Still waiting for that shoe to drop.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 09:49 PM
1

Exactly. The body doesn't have a limit for the amount of oxytocin it produces.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 09:46 PM

revenge fantasy
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 09:44 PM

Doesn't answer my question. Great, they vote. That's the bare minimum of civil engagement. If I'm overwhelmed and I need someone to help me with the laundry while I attend to a baby with a colic, where are these liberal women? brunch?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 07:10 PM
1

How do they help on a communal level? Paying more taxes doesn't mean your contributing to your community.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 07:06 PM
4

You can find plenty of that rhetoric on r/childfree. Every other post is how no one wants to be around your crotch goblins. None of those women are conservative.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 07:04 PM
1

Then why aren't we see baby booms in countries with stronger economies with stronger safety nets? I don't think the fertility crisis can be solved with "build it and they will come."
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/25 07:03 PM
2

Women in Sweeden, a country with a strong social safety net, are worried about losing everything? We can argue all day about how the American girl boss killed June Cleaver. I think it's done to death. But you cannot convince me Nordic women fear anything but loss of free time.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/25 01:08 AM
1

Of course not. I myself am struggling with fertility. I will live a fully actualized life with or without children. And this simply isn't true. The countries with the highest quality of life are still experiencing lower birth rates.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 11:54 PM
1

There's different types of men like there's different types of women. I have no doubt your man doesn't want pressure on him.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:49 AM
1

To provide and protect.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:15 AM
1

I'm sorry that's been your experience with men. I would love to give my husband as many babies as possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:14 AM
1

You're right. Masculinity is simply whatever we want it to be!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:13 AM
1

I also work. Doesn't change what I said.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:12 AM
1

Quite the opposite- my husband leads the direction of our family.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:11 AM
1

Oh yeah. We will keep seeing the same psychology today survey about how unmarried, childless women are the happiest. They'll double down; especially since fertility is finite and they can't get it back.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:11 AM
1

I can. Doesn't mean I want to. A housecat can probably survive if you feed it once a week but that doesn't mean it's the kind of relationship you should have with it either.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 05:01 PM
3

Yup. I'm a consultant and know plenty of pervy alcoholics. I had to get sober myself lol. I used to not be able to handle the girlbossness of my high stress job without it. Looking down at the rural people who keep our country coming comes from a deep place of insecurity.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:56 PM
2

Oh wow, someone hit a nerve. Sorry, there is such a thing as objective masculinity.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:51 PM
1

Of course I can. I work a $$$ job myself. But my husband makes just as much, more sometimes. He is the provider, and the minute work negatively affects our family, we will have the conversation on revisiting what my work will look like. He is the protector and provider of our family. It's the natural order of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:50 PM
1

A man's purpose is to be a provider and a protector.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:46 PM
3

Exactly. Countries have and are throwing money at the birth rate issue. It's not working. Women see motherhood as a lifestyle; they can choose to opt out of.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:43 PM
5

Births rates are down in countries much more egalitarian than ours. We don't have kids because women simply don't want to anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:41 PM
1

If you are an American woman in a LTR, marriage, like it or not, will offer you the most legal protection. It's not a religious thing. Yes, I know in more egalitarian countries common law arrangements have more benefits. But for me, an agnostic woman, I'm not arguing with his Mom in probate court God forbid something happened to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:31 PM
1

Violent = lower class. In my blue bubble in a progressive city, I went out with my guy friends to bars all of the time. They all knew how to be rejected gracefully. MAYBE they would say something not nice, but violence was never in the cards.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:24 PM
2

Yup. It's why I can't even listen to friends complain about their partners. If you're not going to leave, then I don't want to hear it. What you allow is what continues.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:18 PM
15

There's a meme where it's two scenarios where a man and a woman are talking to each other at work. One is good looking, one is not. They are both saying, "Hello Sweetie" and for the attractive guy, she says "aww thanks!" and for the ugly guy, it's "Hello, HR?" Women are good at ignoring predatory behavior IF the guy is attractive and/or they're that desperate for attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:16 PM
28

Yup. Suddenly he's a narcissist or whatever tik tok therapy speak is popular today
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 04:11 PM
1

I moved from the south to the Northeast and I grew up where it was totally normal to make small talk in the checkout line. Up here, people assume you're just asking for something and are very defensive. I believe in community and I don't find the New England assholeness endearing anymore so I try to be social anyway; but it's definitely demoralizing.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/25 03:25 PM
1

The office Christmas party is like sodem and Gomorrah level debauchery and I've worked at a few different places.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/25 08:42 PM

Thanks. And yes, I was picked lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/25 08:37 PM

I really don't think we can help it or notice that we're the ones causing the problem. Not an excuse, just an explination. We're all raised by feminist mothers at this point, and most genuinely believe that telling men to "treat us like people" (whatever that means) is the right thing to say even if our actions consciously or subconsciously say otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/25 08:34 PM

Yup, don't ask a fish for fishing tips
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/25 08:32 PM

She's bipolar on top of her Dad walking out on her when she was 5. A stable relationship was really never in the cards.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/25 08:43 PM

I think she'll die alone if we're being honest
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 08:18 PM
1

I agree with this. If you don't like yourself, how can you expect others to?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 05:56 PM
1

I have a very similar story. Cheers!
/r/RedPillWomen26/04/25 09:01 PM

Ok? My comment wasn't one on the cost of living. Quit preaching at me.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/25 12:07 PM
1

It's a livable wage for a single 22-year-old.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 08:14 PM
1

In the consulting world where I work, we have RACI- Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed. I have no problem being responsible. I have no problem contributing to bills and household chores. As someone who believes in the red pill, I find my husband to be accountable for the goals and achievements of our household. It's his ship to steer.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 01:04 PM

I don't remember saying school shootings were okay or that they should happen. Take your soapbox elsewhere. Statistically, the most dangerous part of being a teacher is driving there every morning.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 12:38 PM
1

School shootings are still happening about <1% of the time. Think of the hundreds of thousands of schools there are and how 99.9% of them get through the day without causalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 12:23 PM
3

It obviously depends on what state you live in, but in the Northeast, you can have a middle class lifestyle on a teacher's salary. When I was teaching in Boston, my starting salary out of college was 60k. (and that was 2019 so I'm sure it's only gone up)
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 12:21 PM
3

This simply isn't true. You just need a passport or a real ID, just like any man does.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 12:06 PM
1

Vote with your feet. I live in a state with abortion rights codified into our constitution, so I arguably do have more reproductive rights than a 1920s Russian woman. This is why people don't take feminists seriously. The victim mentality is unreal.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 12:04 PM

I'm okay, thanks. People are allowed to have their own standards. If someone didn't want to be with me because of my clubbing days, more power to them and good on them for thinking about what they want in a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 10:39 PM

I don't date bi men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 10:15 PM

My Dad was the same way and I married a man just like yours. Some men are just raised right.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 10:10 PM

Yup. They wish they were us.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 10:09 PM
1

Where else am I going to meet successful men from nice families? Test my luck online? Even with OLD many people still meet their partners at school or at work.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 10:01 PM

I'm not interested in men who have a high body count. If other women are, great, but I was around those kinds of guys when I was a club rat and they just came across as undisciplined.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 09:56 PM
9

I think it's interesting that they're so unuse to rejection when rejection is a part of every day life. When a job interview ends with "we'll be in touch" I know in that moment that I didn't get the job. When a friend can't give me a solid time to nail down getting a coffee/dinner, I know that they don't actually want to go. Are men not going through life experiencing rejection at all or are they just not connecting the dots?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 09:34 PM
2

And sometimes, it is coming from an unhealed/not pc way of thinking. And I'm self aware to know that it's just going to hurt their feelings if I say it outloud. I broke it off with a guy in college simply because he was too nice to me. Yes, I know we're supposed to like and appreciate "nice guys" but it just didn't do it for me when I was 20 years old. If I had vocalized that, I probably would have gotten hit with a "daddy issues" or something about how girls just like douchebags.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 09:31 PM
7

Same thing happened to me. It's freezing in Boston still, so I had my hands in my pockets. The guy said I was cute and I thanked him, then said I was married. He got all pissy and was like "well how am I supposed to know." Like okay let my hands freeze off just to make sure everyone around me knows I'm married!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 09:28 PM

Of course not, and I'd argue the woman being paid cash is getting a better deal than the tinder date who foolish thought that this guy was wanting to be her boyfriend one day.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:59 PM

I think that's totally fine. You're allowed to have whatever standards you want. But I think humans are a tad bit more complex than degenerate or not degenerate. it's a spectrum.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:58 PM
4

I'm literally married, and they still argue with me about that that lol. They just want to argue.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:50 PM
1

As a hiring manager, I agree. I'm looking to see if you can commit to something, not if you're Albert Einstein. And if you're client facing, I'm still picking the person with the college degree even if they have less experience. I don't want "rough around the edges" or the "school of life" popping through if we're going out to eat somewhere nice with a client.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:45 PM
1

someone has to keep the lights on s/
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:42 PM
1

As a blue-collar wife (with a husband who values my education) I find comments like these so interesting. There's literally so many women out there who would love to play stay at home wife to a blue collar man; it's literally my entire tik tok feed since I'm technically one of them. Yet you're hung up on college girls expecting a thank for keeping their lights on, I guess? It's one sided beef.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:38 PM
1

Being able to communicate and entertain big ideas is a skill. I make 6 figures, and I have next to zero "hard" skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:32 PM

I see it like any other vice. A man who goes to a brothel/SW/strip club every once in a blue moon is no different to me than a man going out drinking with his buddies every once in a while. But if you're swinging by the brothel every night after work it's no different to me than men who get cranky when they can't get their after-work beer soon enough. It's dependent and weak minded.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:28 PM

They are providing a service. I see it no differently than a waitress who flirts with you for a bigger tip.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:24 PM

Yes. I think a high body count on a man represents lack of discernment.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 08:22 PM
1

Yup. Go on tik tok and you'll see a young woman living in a big city who we can assume is liberal/progressive/feminist. She's wining that either men aren't giving up their seats on the subway or that guys are taking all of the seats at the bar while the women are standing. She's still entitled to chivalry while wanting the benefits of a feminist society.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 06:00 PM
1

And as a proud non feminist, my response would be "Hey maybe I actually don't."
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 05:52 PM
2

Yes, they do. Just indirectly. If my husband takes me out to a nice restaurant for Valentine's Day, what's the over under we have sex later? Probably pretty high.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 09:34 PM
1

What is your approach to reducing the risk of this happening and do you have anxiety about this (and if so, how do you deal with it)?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 09:00 PM
1

'25 120lbs 5'6 and still get complimented on the street so yes
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 08:57 PM
1

Like hot. I am hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 08:36 PM
2

Yes. Men really don't ask for much.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 08:28 PM
3

And that's on them. If you want to throw away your marriage over chores, go for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 05:26 PM
2

Yeah, it's hard for me to separate that this is probably a drugged fueled woman who may or may have not cosented and I actually have no idea how old she is
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 05:20 PM
20

My leftie bestie just rejected a guy because he double texted her. She said being a texter was feminine.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 05:17 PM
2

It's dishes. They need to be done. Sometimes I do them more, right now actually he's doing more of them as my courseload is heavier. We don't keep score.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 05:05 PM
1

Same. I don't keep score. That sounds exhausting. Sometimes we're 50/50, sometimes 80/20, etc. etc. My sexual attraction does waiver based on if there's dishes in the sink.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 04:59 PM
1

I want to have sex with my husband even if there's dishes in the sink. I don't make him earn it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 04:56 PM
1

Enjoying sex = babying
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 04:48 PM
1

Yes. I am happy. Happy women listen to happy women.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 04:47 PM
2

Yeah, I've seen that online too. I've yet to see it translated to TRP we practice in reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 04:39 PM
4

That's a compliment being I've been with my husband for a decade. Thank you!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 04:37 PM
3

I'm conventionally attractive and I'm nice to be around. I try my best not to put my husband's balls in a vice. And I said it depends. Getting a lap dance at a bachelor party is different than having a 2 yearlong affair with a co-worker.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:54 PM
5

Exactly. There is risk in everything. If he leaves me, then he leaves me. I know I gave it my all and I'm proud of myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:51 PM
5

Being a wife is the best thing that's ever happened to me. And I'm not some bumpkin; I have a master's degree and a very impressive resume. Putting on makeup before my husband gets home and having sex (and not playing starfish) with him is hardly a chore.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:50 PM
2

I grew up in a pretty conservative area and most people stay married until death or divorce after their kids go to college. Where are you getting that men are itching to throw away 20 years of building a life with someone for some tail? It doesn't often and is usually still social suicide, especially in communities like mine.

This is correct. I am married myself, but if I, God forbid, had to date again, I now have a laundry list of what I'm looking for. When I met my husband at 20, "fun and will be successful one day" was enough for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:46 PM

Human nature is fickle, so it's hard to prescribe absolutes or a yes or no answer. But for normal/well-adjusted men, they're looking for a wife in their late 20s, and oftentimes they use college or their mid 20s as the time to vet and date. As a woman, yes, that is the best time to prioritize dating if you're looking for a good husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:45 PM
1

Right. I honestly feel sorry for the men who keep getting hit with the "Sorry I'm tired" and then they're told if they just do more dishes their wives will suddenly be attracted to them. Men want to be wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:39 PM
3

Everyone pays for sex one way or the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:36 PM

I don't. He's not the type to throw at 80% for the 20%. He is a man that values more than appearance. But I also prioritize him, my looks, and being the full package. But people (not just men) are human. I'm honestly not one to see cheating as an automatic deal breaker, it depends on how and what happened. I have my own career and education. So, no, no anxiety there.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:35 PM

I think it's regional too. I live in Boston and my income has only gotten higher. I think I look better because I can now afford to shop exclusively at whole foods, can afford skin care/beauty treatments etc. No alcohol, no kids. Meanwhile I'm sure if you live in the Midwest, got married out of high school, don't do anything but make casseroles for your three kids while your blue-collar husband is at work, I bet 30 looks very different on those women than it does on me.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:28 PM
-3

Women get comfortable. They have the rock, the house, the kids. Prioritizing looks falls down the list.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/25 03:21 PM

"Wait for Mom to die" isn't the financial planning I'm comfortable with but there's grubby women everywhere who love this kind of stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 08:55 PM

There are more people. You think you're better than the men who came before you? You're just a victim of modern-day society as if they wern't?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 08:48 PM
2

I'm not being mean when I say this, I think looking for women at like Walmart or dive bars would help. Low-income women aren't going to mind non ambitious men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 08:17 PM
7

I live in Massachusetts, so I do know some men who live at home because COL is so high here. If they're saving money to buy a house in two years and they have a great paying job? No problem, nothing wrong with multi-generational housing. If they have zero plans to move out and eventually be independent one day? Major ick.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 08:13 PM

Because I am an ambitious woman. If you're not, that's okay, but we're not compatible.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 08:11 PM

I only drink on special occasions and it's absolutely destroyed my social life. I'm married with a core set of friends so it doesn't bother me, but I empathize with those who still want/need to build those connections in an alcohol obsessed culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 06:16 PM
5

I disagree. There's always been losers and loners. They just read comics, watched tv, collected trains, etc. etc. Has technology changed? Sure. But if you go to bars, they're still packed. My husband's softball league? Still full. Technology has changed, but the human urge to socialize hasn't. I'd argue that the only difference here is that now all of the loners have a place to congregate which is somewhat ironic.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 06:13 PM

Yeah I don't think that matters
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/25 10:51 PM

Yeah, the top of Maslow's pyramid is the hardest to fulfill. Not really important when discussing economics.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/25 10:49 PM

Maybe it's because I had a Dad who could afford to keep his wife at home, but I don't see it that way. My Dad was able to work as much, and therefore be as successful as he is, because he literally had a personal chef, maid, nanny, personal assistant etc. for the price of room and board.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/25 09:03 PM
3

Idk my Dad was able to do it in the 2000s, and women had pretty much integrated into the workforce at that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/25 07:07 PM

Exactly. I've only ever heard men complaining about this set up.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/25 06:51 PM

Love her. I wish.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 08:27 PM

Unfortunately
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 01:03 AM

Kind of, yeah. I wouldn't be with a man who did have a strong father presence. A woman can't teach a man how to be a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 12:41 AM
1

I mean, yeah. Obviously I don't want a man who can't feel empathy, but there's more important things to consider when making a decision and I want a man who is pragmatic, even if others get hurt. In the realm of politics, we benefit directly from Trump environmental cutbacks due to the industry he's in. If he voted democrat because he had so much empathy for trans Mexicans or whatever, I'd think less of him.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 11:12 PM
2

Pretty well
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 11:09 PM

I actually convinced my husband to vote Trump as he's more of a Libertarian lol. We're not all preacher's wives.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 01:28 PM

Yup, getting married is a huge reason for why my politics shifted to the right.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 01:27 PM

The red pill is about realism. I enjoyed casual sex in college, a fair amount, so I'm not even going to try to get with an ultra-religious Chad. And honestly from my time engaging in casual sex, I can confirm AF, BB. I wouldn't give guys who were too nice the time of day.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 11:30 PM

hypersexuality is, casual sex is not.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 11:26 PM

Not really. Sex is fun and scratches a part of our monkee brains.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 11:25 PM

Same. I liked to get it out of the way.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 11:23 PM

Every woman is a feminist until she finds a man she can depend on.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 11:17 PM

Yup. My leftist bestie won't go on a second date if he doesn't pay and walk her to her car. Kind of ironic.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 11:07 PM

Yeah this is what my female friends' lives look like too (the men in my life are predominately right wing). It's cause of where you live. I'm in Boston so everyone here is by default liberal.

My undergrad is in history, and I have an MBA. I'm in consulting currently.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:56 PM

I really don't care if he changes a diaper if he's expecting me to work 6 weeks, 6 months or even 6 years after a baby is born.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:40 PM

And stick my kid in a daycare? No thanks.

No thanks, I enjoy my lifestyle.

A baby is only as valuable as a mother determines it to be unfortunately.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:31 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:26 PM

Crazy how the left went from the party of unions and busting open scabs to the party of "reinventing/reimagining masculinity"
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:24 PM

Yes? How am I supposed to raise a family with a man who is still trying to stick it to the man in old age? Grow up and go to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:14 PM

Not all of us are so hung up on abortion and I ironically think it's men infantilizing us that you assume it's our most important political issue. If it was, maybe Kamala would have won (a) swing state.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:13 PM
2

Definitely. Even when I was your stereotypical, protesting and feminist theory reading college liberal, I was still banging misogynistic frat boys on the weekend. Don't listen to us.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:05 PM
3

Anecdotally, I find women to be more ideological than men, and that bleeds into politics. My guy friends have dated across the political spectrum and most of them are center right. They simply just don't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 09:56 PM
1

Conservative woman here, if he expects me to go back to work after 6 weeks because he doesn't feel like it's his (gender) role to support a family, that's going to negatively affect me.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 09:53 PM

I definitely don't consider myself a victim.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 01:14 AM

I don't remember calling myself a victim
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 11:50 PM

It was both. Things aren't always black and white. I'm sure you've been in situation where you knew what you were doing was wrong, but did it anyway. That's kind of the hallmark of teenage rebellion.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 11:10 PM
0

I feel so sorry for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 09:16 PM

I know, isn't it strange? They actively seek out men they don't like to argue with.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 09:05 PM

Correct
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 08:07 PM

Girl you're the one getting dishes thrown at you lmao. Worry about your own pattern recognition. We don't want the next guy to smother you during laundry.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:16 PM

It is, and Dad is usually demonized for having needs. Yet it's totally fine, and totally not homophobic of her to call you gay cause you're tired at the end of the day.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:14 PM

A diary would be a better place for your misplaced anger.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:10 PM

So every law abiding citizen is inherently a feminist? Great, gold star for us then.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:09 PM

I think women are fully actualized under the law and society in 2025. If anything, culturally we are moving beyond gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:08 PM

If you feel the need to put your emotions onto other people like this, maybe
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:07 PM
-2

Probably. As a woman, I know of 0 women who have handled being dumped well. And it's never their fault "I think he's gay...He's afraid of commitment...He's a narcissist..." etc. etc. etc. All of the men I dated did it right. They were so shitty that I was forced to break up with them lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:06 PM

Yes
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:04 PM

Feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:03 PM

So I'm supposed to advocate for the advancement of women, something we can't define or identify to be considered a good and moral person. Sounds good chief.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 07:01 PM

What differentiates a female human from a male human?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:55 PM

That's why every woman nowadays says her ex is a narcissist. She was "abused" and taken advantage of, so she bears no responsibility for what happened in the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:54 PM

The advancement of women in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:43 PM
1

Based in ideological frameworks.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:11 PM
5

Yup. I have no problem with what 2 consenting adults do.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:10 PM
1

That's no different than saying Jesus died for our sins so we must now live in his image. Just a different God.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:07 PM

Exactly. Why are there less women in STEM? Because women are more linguistic and relationship oriented and choose careers that represent that. Look at the Nordic countries. Even though they are leaps and bounds ahead of us from an egalitarian lens, we still see the same breakdowns in 'male dominated' careers. Men and women are different. Controversial in 2025, but it doesn't make it untrue.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:06 PM

Women's rights went away with the trans movement. It means nothing now we're all grouped together.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:04 PM

I agreed with every word.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:04 PM

Yes. If I'm going to spend my limited free time rallying a cause, I do need to see some benefit from it. If you're in college and have ample time to focus on making society an ideologically sound place, great, I did the same thing. But for those of us who work full time and don't have the luxury to be reading theory for fun, yes, I do need what I put my brain power to be somewhat rewarding. Currently feminism is fighting for my right to abortion on demand and accepting seeing a dick in my locker…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:03 PM

Subconsciously or not, men are liberal because they can't get laid otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:01 PM

What is a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:00 PM

I don't think feminism is about helping people though.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 06:00 PM

Yup. It's the idea that if men simply act like women, women will finally accept them. Nevermind how terrible women are to other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:57 PM

You can be a good person and not follow feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:49 PM

Besides sex? Nothing. Helen of Troy started a whole war because men wanted to have sex with her. Sex is enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:43 PM

These men are homosexual in spirit. They're just sexually attracted to women. Emotionally attracted to other men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:42 PM
1

I live in the city, and I can count the times on my hand that a man has given up his seat for me on the train. The idea that men are going to look up from their phones long enough to save a damsel in distress is simply not true, And there's much more gruesome examples about how useless men are in these scenarios on public transport.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:40 PM
2

We only need to offer sex. You say "just sex" as if men don't do everything they do for the tiniest crumb of pussy.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:38 PM
3

I don't disagree. In my example, these 20 year olds were much more developed, had jobs and cars, and could give us beer. Much cooler and more desirable than the guys at our high school. But again, we need guardrails, or our monkey brains will get the best of us. If you're not smart and let these men get you pregnant and leave, that's how we end up with many societal woes. I wasn't into casual sex in high school, but one of my friends got the clap this way and the other threw away a full ride to …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:33 PM

Of course. Which is why I tell women to date the generous men, not the rich ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:25 PM
26

Right. I don't understand why men are so concerned with the opinion of women they're not even trying to date. You think Bill Belichick give a fuck? No, he's out living his best life.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 05:21 PM
3

I don't disagree with you; that's why every religion puts an emphasis on marriage because we know what society looks like when we don't put guardrails on our monkey brains. I personally don't want to live in a society with a bunch of pregnant 18-year-olds running around. Do you?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 04:53 PM
5

What country are you from then so we understand the cultural context? If you're French, I get it, the rules alongside sexuality are loose and that's fine. If you're from some 3rd world Slavic country, definitely side eyes there as your biggest export is sad eyed blonde women sucking dick to escape post-soviet economic depression.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 04:49 PM

I was born in 1996 so I'm on the cusp. I remember the days of going on Omgele and seeing dicks and it was like the "cool" thing to do in my friend group to hook up with guys in their early 20s so they could buy us beer and access to weed. I think that is why gen z is so risk adverse/sensitive to these power imbalances. We've seen how older men prey on younger women and have the consciousness that previous generations didn't have to realize that engaging in this behavior at a young age is going t…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 04:47 PM

Yup. That's why you don't see passport bros going to countries without (second wave) feminism. Let's see them try to spit game in Jordan or something...
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 04:41 PM

Feminism is hardly for treating women like people. Some of the meanest women I've ever encountered do so in the name of feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 04:38 PM

Horseshoe theory. Both the far left and far right believe in doctrines that tell us we're better than our primal urges.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 04:07 PM

I would agree with this. I work a high stress job and sometimes I'm so burnt out I don't even cook dinner. It's been something I've had to definitely prioritize since getting married as I'm so exhausted.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 11:32 PM

So if I'm following your logic, the people who are following therapy correctly and are finding ways to improve their lives still feel like they need to talk to someone once a week to improve their lives? If nothing else that's co-dependency.

I'm not using accountability in the red pill sense, just in the Meriam Webster way. I can use myself as an example. I was a brat in my early 20s, and I'd quit a job if they looked at me funny. My therapist and I worked together and put together a framework that I can't handle working not because I was lazy and entitled, but because I had anxiety, and my Mom is a narcissist who didn't give me the confidence to try new things.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 03:04 PM

and in 10 years they'll call him the newest and latest buzzword. If it had been 10 years ago, he would have been called anti-social.

Numbers don't prove this. Women have less sexual partners then men.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 02:47 PM

Exactly. I used better help for a hot minute (I'm a sucker for an influencer sponsorship) and wow, it's crazy the morons that are able to get psychology degrees. Luckily, I'm pretty resilient, but they could actually hurt people and people would still defend them tooth and nail.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 02:46 PM

It depends on the situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 02:44 PM

And?

Are you sure about that? Are 55 year olds that horny?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 01:17 AM

Yup. One time I got somewhat annoyed with my therapist and I'm like "you know my parents were like decent people I don't think XYZ is their fault." He literally scoffed at me.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 01:14 AM

My Mom is in her late 50s, and she still gets hit on. Beauty is beauty.

I think -people- go to therapy to avoid accountability.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 12:36 AM
7

Yup, and I might be even more self-involved than when I started as I've every moment of my childhood prodded and every single thought or emotion that's come across my mind examined. It creates a society of non-resilient babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 12:34 AM
6

I mean, I've spent a decade in therapy so take it with a grain of salt.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 12:29 AM
-3

And the people who are able to metabolize these things usually don't need a therapist in the first place. Most people only hear the second part.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 12:28 AM

I've never met a super happy well-adjusted person who felt the need to go to therapy.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 12:20 AM

They don't tell you to blame others directly, no. "Yes, you need to take responsibility for being a douche. But it's because your mommy and daddy were mean to you, and you just haven't unpacked that yet." - Therapist It's a weird roundabout way of saying nothing is ever directly your fault even if they're suggesting you take the smallest bit of responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 12:11 AM
6

Well yeah. Because mental health language has been proliferated with the internet. But as someone who could afford to go to therapy in the early and mid 2000s, it's the same victim ideology being spread.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 12:08 AM

Eh I was in therapy for about a decade. The goal is to get you coming back every week so they get a paycheck.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 11:59 PM

Idk, that's his Dad's job. I think one of the biggest factors of why the dating pool is so bad right now is we have the products of single mothers in it. What do I know about how to pick up women?

Men have less sexual discipline.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/25 09:58 PM

I do think men are superior when it comes to being providers, yes. That's why I married a strong man whom it comes easily to. Not every man deserves to have their legacy live on.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 06:52 PM

Right. Which leads to the creation of a hierarchy. Why are we asking mentally ill childless people how society should look? People who are raising children and doing it well should have a seat at the table. Others should not.

I think they are, to their detriment. I know empathy is a buzzword nowadays, but I don't think empathetic necessarily means moral or better socially. How do you think Bundy got his victims? He's a good lucky man who seemed to be down on his luck and needing help. My mom used to say don't be so open minded your brain falls out. In my younger years, I was horrified as I believed, like we are socialized, that we should always be thinking of others and their 'lived experiences'. Now that I'm older, …

And antidotally, if you go to the suburbs, you'll probably see the dynamic of the totally whipped and defeated husband who's only reprieve is maybe sitting in his man cave on Sunday watching football or working in the garage. Think of like every 90s sitcom. They're all dolts and completely emasculated.

Women are better at talking in Socratic circles and reading books, yes.

It's biology. When we lived in caves, while I'm nursing a baby, I can't exactly go out and hunt mammoth. So, if I'm lucky, I mated with someone who can go out and provide sustenance while I nurture new life. Same thing now, it just looks different. While I'm dealing with a child on my breast, no different than my ancestors, I hope my husband gets up and goes to work so we can afford to Instacart some groceries.

I do think women who don't want kids are selfish. So, what now?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 04:54 PM

Some people can't have kids. I myself am struggling with infertility. How about that whataboutism? But childless cat lady is a type of woman. They don't have the selflessness of a teacher or a care giver. They had little stake or involvement in their communities.

I am a woman, and I agree with Vance's cat lady comment. I don't listen to anyone who doesn't have skin in the next generation.

I agree with this. Unconditional love is for children.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 04:09 PM

If I got to that point, I would just go for men much older where the children are grown. I have zero interest in being step parent.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/25 02:08 AM

I would never date a guy who has kids, so I feel you!
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/25 01:46 AM

Ever since I've gotten married, I'm choosing to spend less and less time with friends. I have limited free time and I just want to be with my husband as often as possible. He's my best friend.

I don't disagree with you, and there's a severe lack of accountability with women, especially when it comes to single mothers continuing the cycles that come with broken homes. I will say though, evil is evil. If you're dating a girl who finds joy bullying the weird girls/excluding other moms from the neighborhood wine night etc etc. I think it's just as bad. Bullies exist because the behavior is normalized and encouraged by mom AND dad.

When I was a younger, less secure, woman I can admit that negging worked on me. But I think it's because we're socialized "if he's teasing you it means he likes you." If I was back on the market now, at my ripe ole age of 28, I'd shut it down so quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 05:23 PM

Any time a man started bragging about money/the date we're going on etc I immediately noped out of it as I can tell this is someone who sees sex as transactional and I have a price tag on me.

Yup. Bonus points if they look like the snuck onto this earth. Never give a guy you aren't attracted to a chance. They'll do you dirtier than a good-looking guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 05:15 PM

Being attractive was always the least of my problems, if not one of them as I never knew if men, we just trying to sleep with me. Online dating was an opportunity to at least do some kind of vetting that takes longer or is more uncomfortable irl.

Not currently on them, but nearly every guy I thought I was just getting coffee/dinner with expected sex afterwards. I know that's not unique to OLD, but I can only remember one time where it didn't happen and maybe that's because it was a breakfast date.

Yeah, when I was dating, most of the men I got serious with, including my husband, have a story about how a super pretty, but beautiful woman stomped on their hearts and they still remember that lesson clearly.

My MIL is like that, always accusing my FIL of cheating was he does shit like ordering salad when we're out to dinner lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 06:38 PM

I'm saying if this is so common maybe women aren't as perceptive as they think they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 06:33 PM

We are obligated to not get obese and at least try to pretend to like our husbands after having kids. It's sad many women can't meet this bar.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 06:29 PM

Respectfully, I don't buy that. The same tasks that annoyed me when I moved in with my husband 8 years ago, are the same ones that annoy me today.

Women know who men are (for the most part) when they get into a relationship. It was cute when he would leave his socks on the floor when they were dating because she was just happy to be spending time with him. Now that she has the ring and the kids, she's now started making lists in her head of everything she's resentful about. His behavior has not changed.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 06:23 PM

I don't disagree, yet I see busted women walking around all the time with their kids. Apparently, a hole is the only requirement for many men.

As a woman, I agree with you. We've seen this since middle school where the popular, rich, pretty girl terrorized people yet had the entire football team fawning over here. Being evil is hardly a dealbreaker for men.

I mean, if women from different ages, races, creeds, and backgrounds are coming to the same conclusion, doesn't that say something? And if you check my comment history, I'm the last one to be found in a feminist space. Not all men are deserving of the intimacy and emotional labor a woman provides. It's unfortunate that the lack of fathers in the home and the weird, Oedipal, relationship men have now formed with their mothers has exposed men to the type of attention that was historical reserved f…

I mean you can call it whatever you want. Even if you aren't looking for just sex, but are looking for a "hey you got this champ" everyone morning before you go to work, it's the same thing. You're looking at women as someone who provides you intimacy (whatever that looks like) without seeing them as a holistic being.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/25 05:25 PM

It's not the corporation's responsibility to help you with family planning. And I'd avoid men who blame not being able to provide on the economy.

I completely agree with you and reject the notion that a daycare is the best place for an infant or young child. IMO, it starts with the men. They need to be making enough money to where a mom raising her kid is possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 01:26 PM

I mean, I can use different words if it makes you feel better. I work a pretty intense corporate job. The minute I walk in the door I'm not magically become June Cleaver. That's too hard of a shift and the women who are trying their darndest to have it all are miserable.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/25 11:44 PM

I would agree with this. And I think it was proven when women went into the workforce, but they were still expected to be Suzy Homemaker when they got home. It was never about the harmony of the household. It was about men being able to extract as much labor as they can from women.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/25 11:22 PM

You can't be feminine and masculine at the same time. So, if I'm expected to go work a 8-hour day, there's not going to be Duck a L'Orange waiting for my husband when he gets home. In fact, since I do work, he's home before me most nights and cooks dinner.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 11:24 PM

This. Poor/lower middle-class people have their own 'culture'. My husband isn't college educated, but he's not trailer trash as he comes from a upper middle-class background (a teacher and an engineer). So, we know how to 'talk' to each other. Even though he doesn't have the degree, he grew up understanding what it's like to go to weddings, have vacations, do extra circulars etc. There are expectations on how to act that I'm thankful I didn't have to teach someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 11:18 PM

Which is why where the degree is from is important.

I agree. As a "secretary" (We're called executive assistants now) I also make 6 figures like anyone else in the building. So, I'm closer to a CEOs social status than a waitress is.

Because men and women are different and two different things cannot be equal. I struggle emotionally (PMDD) the week before my period. My husband's temperament is consistent throughout the month sans any major stressors. My biology does make me inferior in this regard, and I rely on him heavily to steer the household during this time.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/25 06:35 PM

I agree with this approach. I take what I need and leave the rest. As a career woman, I've found the tools to be extremely helpful navigating office politics.

There are different interpretations of the red pill which many below me have already given examples on. I tend to have a mix of the beliefs stemming from my religious childhood (I'm more spiritual than religious now) and my own research into the red pill community.

Conservative women are happier too. You really want to come home to someone pissed off, watching the news every night talking about how the sky is falling?

I live in Boston, a super progressive area, and most of my girlfriends are liberals. Antidotally, they sleep with men across the political spectrum. But they settle down with progressive/liberal men. Many of whom don't look like they can throw a football. It's a chicken and the egg scenario though. Do they wind up with liberal men because conservative men end up with conservative women? Or were these liberal guys just end game all along and they don't vet their hookups? I think it's a mix of the…

You are a disciplined man. Unfortunately, many men think with their dong and not about the values and beliefs the mother of their future children has. I'm conservative, but met my husband when I was in college, so much more liberal than I am now. He's happy I've come around, but it wasn't an issue when we first started dating.
