Tinder is beyond desperate. If I’m paying 5 bills (which I wouldn’t), then I better be able to message non-matches infinitely (consent issue aside). And damn, for $500 a month that sub needs to come with a (good) hooker every other month. I have no idea what they’re thinking with this move. It’s getting nothing but bad publicity and almost no one is going to sign up.

Barring some kind of widespread catastrophe (zombie apocalypse please please please🤞), there will always be apps. Good looking dudes will always find success there and there will always be validation seeking women, looking to get laid by guys out of their (relationship) league. Recent stats show that men are moving away from apps. Quality women (ie youngish, thin, attractive, drug-free) aren’t using apps, or they only use them sporadically. It’s a circus for them, I’m sure. As we know, only a sm…

Depends how short, how handsome your face is, how in shape you are, how financially well off you are and what the average height of women are in your area. Assuming you’re at least 5’5, it’s not necessarily a death sentence, as long as you have something else going for you.

I have never witnessed a woman offer to physically protect an adult man from another man or woman. For that matter, I’ve never witnessed a woman offer to assist an adult man (or woman) in any capacity that may result in her physical harm (ie high water rescue, animal attack, etc), outside of police and fire women. I have witnessed multiple instances of men protecting other men and women. In my opinion, women (generally) aren’t willing to take the chance of being physically harmed to assist an ad…

No one is really being THAT pedantic. But yeah, if she fucked Chad on the first date, but is making Todd wait two months, I’d understand if Todd feels a way about it.

Not sure. Each jurisdiction has its own policies. Anything but life seems like a travesty. She plotted a murder, which resulted in the deaths of two people and the grievous injury of a third person. In most jurisdictions (USA), if your co-conspirator is killed, then you’re hit with a murder charge for their death. I (personally) don’t get why we bother incarcerating people like this. There’s no rehabilitation for someone who plans out a murder. Execute them, or create a penal colony that we dump…

Ok…I lived through the 80s/90s/00s. I personally cold approached women regularly and have seen it done countless times. Perhaps your experiences are different.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 04:35 PM

Sure, AND prior to OLD, men habitually cold approached women in most public spaces. There weren’t too many places that were considered out of bounds to hit on a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 03:34 PM

You must be pretty young, because that’s simply not how things worked prior to the normalization of OLD.

How do you think people got together before the internet?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 01:10 PM

Social circles acquired through hobbies. The bulk of guys on OLD are just looking to get laid. If they’re tall/attractive, it’s a 95% chance.

A seasoned (female) phycologist once told me that it is a giant red flag it the majority of a woman’s friends are men. And, If women like a woman, she will have female friends. If women (collectively) don’t like a woman, something is wrong with her.

Agreed. Fidelity and stability are largely about self control. We all have lustful and crazy thoughts. We choose to act on them, or not.

I actually do know one. She was 18 and he was 32. I gave him all sorts of hell about it. As far as I know they’re still doing good, ten years and three kids later. Not really sure what she saw in him. She was pretty hot and he already had a couple kids and was short and ugly. Nice guy though.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/23 08:17 PM

One of the side effects (that has benefited me), is that a lot of guys are unwilling, or lack the skill, to approach women outside of OLD. Since most women aren’t on OLD, they’re not getting approached irl like they would be 15 years ago. I came up before online dating was normalized, so I had to actually develop the skills to talk to women irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/23 06:16 AM

You’re confusing wanting to sleep with you with wanting to seriously date you. A majority of men will fuck sub-par women, if it’s an easy lay.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/23 06:07 AM

I’m only going to hit on one of your points. I agree with you and I see no point in getting married if you’re not (planning on) having kids. A family isn’t two people. I’m not taking the risk of divorce and losing a ton of my money, if I’m not at least getting kids out of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/23 05:47 AM
2

I agree. It’s not a gender specific thing. In my experience, immature adults (like children) crave structure. When you provide that structure, or “put them in their place,” they are more content. This doesn’t only apply to romantic relationships. It could be a platonic, or a work relationship. Also, the structure has to come from someone they respect, or they’ll push back against the correction.

That’s 95% of women. Never put them on a pedestal. Never treat them like they’re a queen. I’m not saying don’t respect your women and be kind to her, but women want someone too look up to, not the other way around.

Assuming he wasn’t paying for sex with trafficked women, then playing women seems objectively worse, as he’s doing harm to those women. That being said, (most) women aren’t logical beings, and they will much prefer a guy that has mistreated women over a guy that has been with prostitutes.

Works less hours doesn’t necessarily equate to works equally hard. What if one partner works a physically demanding, outside job (and for arguments sake, makes significantly more) and the other works a desk job in a climate controlled office?

Whenever some high priced pimp’s/madam’s little black book turns up, there are inevitably names of men on their that don’t have to pay for sex. The type of men that could get laid with the ease of a moderately attractive woman…yet they still pay for it (at least on occasion). I wonder why.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 04:33 AM

I think you could probably say the same about men. Their ideal woman propositions them for no strings sex…are most men turning that down?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 09:36 PM

I’ve seen it both ways. I dated a woman that was an easy 9.5. 5’10 with tits and ass that were so nice, they looked fake. Men wouldn’t approach her because they assumed she was out of their league. I’m 5’9, moderately attractive, balding and I don’t have a lot of money. I just had the confidence to approach her. On the other side of things, I’ve had women tell me they thought I was too good for them and assumed I was only going after them to have some fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 10:11 AM
1

I think it largely depends on the woman’s opinion of OLD. If she stays away from OLD, then she probably realistic standards and hasn’t over valued herself, due to the attention she gets on there. Fortunately, less women use OLD than men. I’ve met women IRL and OLD, with about the same amount of success, so I don’t really have a dog in the fight.

I’m not sure what you mean by “looseness”, but some women are definitely loose. I’m sure for a variety of reasons. Not all vaginas are the of equal tightness (or tight at all).

I think you’re on the right track. Best bet is to move to a small/medium size, politically conservative (even if you yourself are liberal) town that is geographically segregated from other populated areas.

Oh, I agree with you. I think we’re headed towards (at the very least) a soft collapse of society. There might not be anything the governments can (or rather, would be willing to) do to stop it.

If I had to guess…within 100 years western countries will enact laws to promote the nuclear family. I could only speculate what those laws will be. Perhaps they’ll de-insensitive single parenthood by diminishing or abolishing most entitlement programs. They may de-insensitive divorce by abolishing child support and all forms of alimony. If Western countries want to sustain their populations, they’ll have to take drastic measures.

He may never know if he doesn’t ask, or if she lies. Is dishonesty something you’d advocate? Why would her reason for not waiting matter to me? Actions (may) have consequences.

1) He may have side chicks (you’ll probably never know). 2) If he was loyal, he knew that the second things didn’t work out, he could be fucking. 3) You have him on a pedestal and he’s not really a chad.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 02:02 AM

Unless you’ve withheld for every other guy, he’s gonna be resentful about it, if you make him wait. There is no absolute way to secure commitment, if you haven’t been consistent with other guys in the past.

You’re moving to goal post. I’m aware wealthy people generally marry other wealthy people. We’re specifically talking about situations where one partner is wealthy and the other isn’t.

Sure, wealthy people (trying not to use gendered pronouns because I don’t care if its MF, MM, or FF), who got together before the wealth came in, or a situation where the wealthy partner wasn’t smart enough to get a prenup. Why on Earth would a 1%er who brought someone into their wealth accept that arrangement? If the wealthy partner has nothing to lose (not married to the person or has iron clad prenup) by the dissolution of the relationship, why would they except disloyalty from the the non-we…

But not open side pieces, like him. If she’s got a side piece, then she’s cheating, because that’s the arrangement. And it only goes on until she gets caught. Then all the luxuries go away and she’s back living with her parents and he’s onto a younger hotter girl. If I’m a billionaire and I’m in a polygamous relationship with you, you better be damn sure I’m having a PI check in on you once in a while. Not sure if you’ve ever watched the above referenced podcast, but they often have guys on there that do this. Millionaires that are in polygamous marriages/relationships. They also feature monogamous men too. The show is basically poking fun at young women for being hypocrites in their expectations of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 08:47 PM
5

But that’s the thing, YOU can’t. That’s the “arrangement.” If a billionaire is financing your luxurious lifestyle, why would he (or she) accept you sleeping with other people? They’re bringing the money and in return expect fidelity and loyalty.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 08:42 PM
1

From a pragmatic point of view, if physical attraction was extremely important to a man, it’d make sense for him to marry a much younger woman. She’d stay attractive much longer. And as (most) men get older, their threshold of what they find attractive expands. For instance, I find women in their 40s to be more attractive than I did 15 years ago. I do think women (and men to a lesser extent) hit a hard wall where there attractiveness drops off dramatically. Even with exercise and good living, it…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 10:23 AM

I suppose. I think having a kid intentionally with no dad in the picture is far more irresponsible. I think intentionally having a kid when you’re poor is far more irresponsible. However, no one is complaining en mass that those people suck.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 05:57 AM

And he’s right. That doesn’t mean he’s advocating that you trade a woman in at a certain age.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 05:42 AM

My point is, of all the irresponsible circumstances one could bring a kid into the world, being elderly isn’t even the top 20.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 05:41 AM
6

I’d much rather my dad be a 90 year old famous millionaire than some PoS, that abuses me, abandons me, or doesn’t have the resources to care for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 04:36 AM
4

Reread what he wrote.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 04:33 AM
5

Ok, let’s say you’re a mutant and don’t age. You’re 80 with the appearance of a 25 year old. Would he still be a perv, or is it only because the guy appears old?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 04:32 AM
8

But she’d always stay younger than me. If we get together when I’m 42 and she’s 22, she’ll always be 20 years younger than me. I can’t speak for every guy, but if I’m single at 62 and a cute 42 year old is interested in me, id be pretty pumped.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 04:30 AM
2

But “younger” is relative. If I’m 65, I’d be ecstatic to have a 40 year old girlfriend. If I start a relationship when I’m 45 and she’s 25, she’ll always be younger than me.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 04:28 AM

You’re either very attractive or attracted to unassertive men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 10:36 PM

Unless we suffer some kind of wide scale disaster that forces us out of our current mindset and to become very reliant on our community and family, I don’t see things ever going back to the way they were.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 09:28 AM

Because there are more male geniuses than female geniuses and women are typically drawn to people, not things. Just to balance my point, there are more male idiots than female and men overwhelmingly do the destroying (however you choose to interpret that word).
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 05:17 AM
1

Percentage? Who is to say. I would say a conservative number would be tens of millions of men over the last 100 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 05:13 AM

Correct, but the infrastructure was created by a lot of men. Millions of men. By “create,” I assumed OP also meant build.

Perhaps not easy, but it’s low skilled work.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 05:10 AM

That’s why you always test your kids. Do it in secret if you have to, but do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 01:01 AM

That’s why I don’t date women who travel, or go out socially (with some exceptions) without me. I also don’t date women who have male connections beyond family and acquaintanceships. And before anyone jumps on me, I also adhere to my own boundaries.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 12:59 AM

Banging married chicks is an L. I’ve been propositioned and I’m just disgusted by them. And it’s just unsafe. I’m not risking some jealous husband shooting me. No one’s hot enough to risk that. And the one time a married girl tricked me, I told her husband. Sad sack stayed with her unfortunately.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 12:57 AM

A lot of women (on here) claim that attempts to contact them outside certain universally accepted venues (bars, clubs, parties), give them the right to be hostile to you. Personally, I don’t care and if someone became upset because I tried talking to them, I’d probably laugh, BUT a lot of (young) guys are dissuaded by the notion that they’ll be labeled as a predator for trying to talk to a girl at the supermarket.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 09:42 PM
5

Exactly. Women aren’t a monolith. A girl isn’t going to care where where you approach her, if she’s into you. Sure, there are exceptions and I wouldn’t try picking up a girl at her grandma’s funeral.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 06:03 AM

Your hypothetical isn’t great. Most women are going to react positively to a picnic, since it requires planning and effort. A better hypothetical would be an extravagant date vs a hangout at his place.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 04:25 AM

It seems to be the basic consensus that as long as you’re an average looking woman, you’ll be mostly fine. As a man, unless you’re exceptionally good looking, you’re probably screwed. In the particular circumstance where the man is average or ugly, I’d advise you spend your 20s on building a career/wealth in the hopes that you could attract a woman that would tolerate your disability.

Women tend to rate their attractiveness with their hair and makeup done, with flattering clothes on. Men could care less how hot a girl looks with makeup on if she looks like a troll straight out of the shower.

So, every woman that is posting revealing photos is a wannabe influencer? If you believe that I’ve got a bridge I’d like to sell you.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/23 06:07 AM
1

Unless she’s (or he’s) making money, what is the point of an attached woman (or man) posting revealing pictures on a public profile? Why do they need that attention if they’re in a relationship? Why are they giving men (or women) an opportunity to temp them? If you don’t think a big component of fidelity is avoiding temptation, then I’ve got a bridge I’d like to sell you.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/23 02:41 AM

You’re joking? There are hundreds of thousands of women on Instagram that aren’t anything close to “Influencer” level, that are posting revealing photos. There are only a small minority of women (or people in general) making money off of Instagram.

Probably not, but if it’s something she did seldomly, I wouldn’t necessarily see it as a red flag. However, within a relationship, I would expect her to never be out at a bar after 8:00 pm without me. I would also abide by the same boundary, even if she didn’t have a problem with it.

Some things don’t warrant compromise. If my SO is doing drugs, there’s no compromise, if they’re flirting with others, there’s no compromise, if they’re acting single on the internet, there’s no compromise.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/23 10:09 PM

Yup. Instagram is essentially a dating site for hot women. If your account is public and you’re posting revealing pics, then you’re acting single.

Let me be clear. Im imaging a catalyst (an event) that will completely upend human society. Think WW3 with a limited nuclear exchange, a planet wide ecological disaster, a super volcano erupting, the ice caps melting or a medium size meteor hit. Access to birth control would be limited, or non-existent for a good while. I don’t think such events are likely in our lifetimes, but it’s only a matter of time before something happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 10:55 PM
2

Because it’s how people naturally organize themselves outside of a nanny government. All of recorded human history shows us this. The normalization of the non-traditional household is a phenomenon of the last 50 years. Without the societal safety net to keep you and your children safe from harm, men and women have no choice but to organize themselves in a certain way so they can live with a modicum of comfort. What we commonly refer to as the traditional, or nuclear family.

I’m sure everyone has there own definition, but not leaving a marriage over anything but major issues (physical abuse, cheating, etc) seems to be a traditional thing. And it’s not exclusively a woman thing.

The majority of marriages end due to financial issues. And since you brought up abuse, women are the aggressors in 40% of domestic violence cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 04:02 AM

Agreed. I don’t think it’ll be in our lifetime though. I think there will be a catalyst that will force people to return to traditional gender roles. Unfortunately, that catalyst will probably be a very unpleasant event, or series of events.

Sure, you have extreme cases, but most of these trad guys are just advocating that you don’t throw away your spouse of 15 years because you’re “not happy,” or you “fell out of love,” or you “need to find yourself.” If your spouse is cheating, or kicking your ass, then yeah, that’s a good reason to leave.

Agreed. The notion that any man that has used a prostitute, can’t get free sex, is erroneous. Wealthy celebrities have been known to use escorts. Do women really think those men can’t pull women? Of course they can, but dropping a grand on a pro is less of a hassle than going out, vetting a girl and maybe getting her to sleep with you.

You’re assuming the men’s offers weren’t genuine. Some probably were. I agree that a lot of the women in that sub felt that the unsolicited invitations was harassing, but welcome to the internet. No one’s forcing anyone to be here. If someone can’t handle trolls, then leave. Just because it might have been harassing, doesn’t mean that they didn’t disprove that a femcel isn’t the female equivalent of an incel.

It’s all subjective. I think for most men, anything close to 50 would be very high, for a woman. I’d imagine, anything above 15 would be considered on the high side. You have to factor in when they started having sex, current age and how long they’d been in monogamous relationships.

Only way I’d wed a foreign woman is if I moved to her country (prior to meeting her), or a majority of her family immigrated to the US. As soon as you move a foreign woman to the US, she’ll become indoctrinated and you’ll eventually be faced with the same issues as if she were a true American girl. You need the constant judgement of her family (parents) to prevent her from changing.

I’ll say it. Anyone claiming to be a modern feminist, is a bad person. We have achieved institutional gender equality, leaning in women’s favor. There are no women’s (only) issues left to rectify (institutionally). A particular business owner refusing to hire women is not an institutional problem. Women (like anyone) can sue for discrimination. Of course there are issues that affect women, that need work. The timely processing or rape kits comes to mind, but that’s not only a women’s issue. Of course more whites are committing crimes overall, as there are over four times as many whites as there are blacks. That’s basic math. Blacks…

Disagree (kind of) that most of the men are unattractive. Especially the ones using pros. Even if you’re in the top 10%, your chances of getting lucky are low and that’s assuming the day, time and location are ideal to meet someone (online or in real life) at the exact moment that man wants sex. If dropping 5 or 8 bills on a call girl isn’t a big deal to you, then why not? It’s a guarantee vs likely wasted time.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 04:03 AM
2

I possibly agree with your latter points, but not the first. Handsome male celebrities have been caught using prostitutes. It’s not just the fuglies. Sometimes, it’s just about getting it in and not having to deal with the effort of bedding her and getting her to leave afterwards. When the cost of a high end call girl is pocket change to you, why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 03:58 AM

I think you bring up a good point. Would the type of prostitute make a difference? If a woman knew he’d seen a crack-whore vs a beautiful and classy escort. Would she see these as the same thing, or distinctly different?

Dad bod to most women is an off cycle male celebrity. Basically, muscular arms and chest, big legs, with just a bit of extra cushion in the mid section.

Assuming a woman is at least a 5.5, totally agree. I’ve know some lovely women that probably would have taken what they could get (as long as the guy wasn’t abusive), but they were so unattractive, no one would have them for anything more than a pump and dump. If a woman is conveniently attractive and never been married by 40, it’s 100% her. Same goes for guys (assuming they want to marry).

These people have no sense of morality. They’re broken people. If they were victimized, they’d be flipping out, the irony completely lost on them. My dream is that one day we’ll create a place where we can exile people that are beyond rehabilitation. Something along the lines of, No Way Out or The Bad Batch.

Basically any comment that isn’t a variation of, “kill all men.” I would love it if there was some magic spell that could remove all men and then return them six months later. Any complaints about, “the patriarchy” would disappear for at least the next several centuries.

This was basically my ex wife, though she worked and made good money. I did everything and all she did was find shit to complain about. So, one day I just left and never came back. I immediately filed for divorce and started dating significantly hotter/younger women (with far better attitudes) and it drove her nuts.

I THINK I get what you’re trying to ask, but you’re examples are terrible, on there own and in comparison to one another. I think a better comparison would be a man who works as a homicide detective, making $80k, vs a successful real estate agent, making $175k. A lot of women are going to be intrigued by the homicide detective, because it’s an interesting, masculine and bestows upon him special status. Also, American women are (generally) obsessed with murder porn. And, that’s assuming the women…

That’s a good point. I’ve met tall, good looking dudes, but they’re big time nerds. They could be eight to tens, but they’re have unattractive(to most women) hobbies, don’t exercise (often overweight) dress and groom for shit and have zero charisma.

Then how do you rationalize rich, famous and attractive men paying for sex? They clearly don’t NEED to pay for it. They’re anything but desperate. I assume they simply don’t won’t to take the time to go out, pick someone up and then deal with them post-coitus. I can make a pizza from scratch, but sometimes I’d just prefer to order Dominoes.

That’s totally fine and I commend you. The only (possible) flaw in your plan is, if you’ve not made every man (prior to this hypothetical new man) wait, then you’ll likely never get that commitment (from a guy you’d actually want). Why would a good man put in effort other men weren’t required to put in, to get the same thing?

/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/22 06:01 PM

Possibly. Hard to know. I’d imagine physical attractiveness was far less important in the past. Especially the first 190ish thousand years. Who gives a fuck if your cave husband is handsome if you’re starving, or you’re getting raped by other cave men? I would venture to speculate that attractiveness only really became important (to courting/marriage) in the last hundred years. You were relegated to a small number of men that lived within a small radius.

Everyone’s a hypocrite. Most women don’t won’t a physically weak, feminine man, when they themselves are generally both. Most men don’t want a muscular woman who acts dominant, when men are generally both. Many men consider chastity (whatever that is in current year) a womanly trait. You can hate that, but it’s ingrained in our culture.

I’d say that the ability to hire an escort doesn’t guarantee access to kinks either. Most escorts aren’t going to engage in the more risqué kinks, at least not without seeing the guy several times prior. Many aren’t going to do choking or anal (or anything physically harmful). And there is an obvious monetary barrier to that as well. You’re talking thousands.

But it’s nice to have the option.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/22 06:20 AM

You’d be surprised. I’ve seen this exact scenario pop up on a relationship sub and there were more than a few that stated that the woman had no obligation to reveal any part of her sexual history.

I’d even argue that the top 30% to 20% of women get more attention than the top 10% of women. Men will try more with women they think they might have a chance with. Most 6/7 guys aren’t shooting their shots with dimes, they’re going after 7/8/9s.

That’s a straw man argument. JFK was decades younger than both of the other men. Trump was objectively attractive when he was young. Women can absolutely be attracted to other characteristics than physical beauty. There are loads of hideous male musicians that women throw themselves at.

It is on much of Reddit. They’re declared “real” women and a woman doesn’t need to tell a man she’s a woman.

I have no evidence to back it up, but with the advent of smart phones and social media, it’s so much easier to get caught. Not to mention, the culture has shifted (for good or bad) and these kinds of claims are taken more serious. Therefor, male predators have reduced in numbers and frequency. Women (especially attractive ones) often think that the rules don’t apply to them and they’ve remained over confident.

I’ll be more specific. Dudes that are in relationships with these women, who later found out they were getting nailed during their dating phase.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/22 12:58 AM
2

That’s a fair question and is very dependent on the individual situation. I’d say definitely just before/after any sexual intimacy (3rd base+) would be more than reasonable and no person of normal sensibilities would find that as controlling/clingy. I don’t think telling someone on a second or third date, “I only date one person at a time and I would expect the same from anyone I’m dating. If you’re not ok with that, I completely understand, but I don’t think we’d be compatible then.” Personally…

Then I would say you lack empathy. If a woman left her husband because he refused to be affectionate with her (ie treated her like a platonic friend that he had sex with) I would absolutely not judge her for it. What do you mean, “divorced his wife for sex”? That’s very ambiguous. No sex? Not enough sex? Not the kind of sex he wants?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 02:55 AM
1

I’m not demanding a virgin. I’m simply responding within the parameters of your hypothetical. It would be me asking her to engage in a standard act that is done in 99.9999% of marriages, vs her asking me to do a very non standard act. No, I wouldn’t even entertain the thought of being pegged.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 02:50 AM

I don’t think I’m going to get that and I’m not trying. I’m answering your question from this comment thread. I currently have a submissive and sexually adventurous woman. She wasn’t a virgin when we met.

Man - yes Woman - no Why? Because I live in the real world. As a man, I can do it with little to no consequence. As a woman, my reputation and ability to get a quality partner would be diminished.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 02:42 AM

By that logic, any sex is unnecessary. Oral is 100% an expectation in any romantic relationship in 2022. Pegging is not. You’re reaching to try an prove your point.

The answer is yes, with an asterisk. She’d have to be very traditional and submissive. At least an 8.5 face/body. Be willing to marry within 18 months. Be enthusiastic about standard sexual acts (piv, oral, various positions) and open to trying more risqué sexual acts (anal, light bdsm, dirty talk).
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 02:22 AM

Yeah, that is upsetting. I ended up getting together with a mutual acquaintance of my ex-wife and ours, months after we split. We dated for years after. There was zero interest prior to us reconnecting, after my separation. She was pretty, but while I was married, I never saw her as anything but a friend. Ex tried to make me feel bad about it, but she was straight up an abuser, so I didn’t give two shits about how she felt about it.

It’s weird how we treat teen girls as so divergent from teen males. People can’t conceive that (some of) these girls want to bone an attractive male teacher. They do. I knew a lot of girls in high school that had (non-teacher) boyfriends in their early to late 20s. It’s universally and equally wrong for any teacher to take advantage of a student like that.

Women cheat just as much, they’re just not idiots about it, like men. I was married. I never cheated, but if I had, I wasn’t so stupid to cold call a chick and ask to bang. There’s a 100 ways that could go wrong.

I have no idea, but this made me think of the numerous instances in sci-fi shows where the main characters encounter a matriarchal alien civilization. In every instance, the men are at best, second class citizens and at worst, slaves. The Orville recently had an episode about this.

I agree. It’s not something you should spring on a woman in the 11th hour. As soon as the topic of kids comes up, it needs to be discussed. Since having this deal breaker, I’ve only progressed to the point where I’ve needed to have this convo twice. I got some pushback the second time. I’m not sure if her feelings softened on it, but regardless, she capitulated and agreed.

Your first example is a bit of a straw man argument. Anyone (man or woman) shooting their shot in a professional setting is playing with fire. But, if it’s some unique situation where negative consequences are non-existent, then why not? Also, the lone women trying to get home is exactly what OP is talking about. Why not? How does (a man with no nefarious intent) making the woman feel uncomfortable, negatively affect the man? Sure, he’s gonna fail 99 times out of 100, but there’s that 1% chance …

From your comments and without seeing you, I’d bet that you are slightly above average, but not objectively beautiful. Meaning, you’re attractive enough to be desired sexually, but not so attractive that the common fella thinks he doesn’t have a shot. I have a friend just like you. She thinks she’s hot because she’s been habitually hit on since a young age. In reality, she’s barely a 7 on a good day.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/22 08:16 AM

You have to be the most (what I refer to as) approachably attractive woman then. Meaning, you’re the perfect combination of good looking, but not too good looking, mixed with a friendly demeanor.

Reddit is pretty rife with stories. I don’t think it’s necessarily a phenomenon exclusive to male doctors. A lot of people trade up when they suddenly have the option to do so. You see it among women have have huge glow-ups. It’s so common after lat band surgery, that a lot of doctors council their patients about it before the surgery.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/22 12:41 AM

Sure, if they’re right in your face, I could see that as antagonizing. That doesn’t appear to be the case here. The guy isn’t focused on anyone in particular and his commentary isn’t derogatory and appears to be narration for the video.

I think it’s more clout for the girl than her actually being more attracted to a guy that’s 6’2 over a guy that’s 5’11. You can’t be more attracted to an asset you can’t even detect. It would be like having a blood type preference.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/22 12:49 AM
3

It’s my experience that people shorter than me, believe me to be taller than I am. I’m 5’9 and have been asked if I’m 6’ by shorter men and women. My point is, most women aren’t going to be able to tell the difference between a 5’11 guy and a 6’2 guy.

How is jerking it to clothed pics of kids a crime? It should be and those people should be thrown into the ocean, but no where in the US is it a crime. How would the kids possibly find out? My point is, you can do a thing that isn’t illegal or harmful and that action can still be bad. But instead of debating my point, you try to poke non existent holes in my example.
/r/PussyPassDenied26/07/22 05:06 PM
1

So, if it’s not illegal and no one was mentally/physically harmed, then you cannot use that info to judge them in any way? So, you’d be friends with someone who masturbated to clothed pictures of young children? They’ve not harmed anyone, nor committed a crime.

I’ve dated extensively and in every long term relationship, the woman has brought it up.

By not answering, you’re admitting that it’s a lot. No 27 year old woman with three notches is going to decline to answer, because she knows thats a reasonable number. At least by answering, it’s a possibility the guy might be ok with it. He might be expecting her to say 50, when it’s actually 15 and he’s ok with that.

That was egalitarianism with a focus on Women’s rights. Today, women have institutional equality…actually, they have institutional privilege in many cases.

I really think a lot of women don’t really understand the disparity in strength between men and women. Just because a woman is of a similar size doesn’t mean she’s even close to his level of strength. A chimp is far smaller than an average man, but typically, twice as strong as that man.

Would I in this specific hypothetical? Yes, probably. Not in every circumstance, but probably 90% of the time. Been there, done that and got the t-shirt. Either way, the girl is gonna be hurt. You’re taking the path of least resistance and the lesser of two evils. And the silver lining is, I’m still getting laid. What does that have to do with standing up for myself? That’s just a silly statement. No one is pressuring me to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 10:05 PM

You really don’t think she’d see right through that?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 08:00 PM

This reminds me of Reddit story a while back. In a nutshell, a guy ran away from a critical incident, abandoning his girlfriend and young nephew. Neither was hurt. She summarily dumped him. The majority were stating he did nothing wrong and his girlfriend was a turd for dumping him.

Baby Moses laws are NOT the equivalent to adoption. You’re being willfully ignorant if you’re conflating the two. Adoption is a legal process where (presumably) both parents surrender a child to another family. Baby Moses laws are a legal loophole that was created so parents don’t murder their unwanted babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:33 AM

How is a mother leaving a baby at a fire station not abdicating her responsibilities, but a father walking away is? That’s some sexist bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 05:11 AM

Semantics. If a man “aborts” his child, the same logic applies, correct? He’s just leaving it in the care of the mother.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 04:11 AM

But can’t women abandon a baby without consequence via baby Moses laws?

As a man, you’re not even taking on a higher risk of being physically assaulted. In fact, the risk would go down. You would be taking on a higher risk of being raped. Sure, you can take precautions, but you can’t foresee every possibility, so the risk would be there. Depending on your age, appearance and socioeconomic status, the chances of an average woman (or in this hypothetical, a man) being trafficked is pretty slim.

That’s a good point. Men don’t always fight back due to the risk of being labeled the aggressor. Tiger was at the height of his career and was no doubt a strong guy. I’m sure he could have knocked her daylights out if he wanted to. Hopefully, that incident helped him in his divorce. Unless you’ve got a prenup that outlines consequences to infidelity, the courts (in no fault jurisdictions) could give a flying fuck about cheating, but they sure as hell care about (provable) physical violence.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/22 09:54 PM

That’s not something I’d be interested in doing. If she’s shit on a guy, I wouldn’t want to do that either. Now, would her participation in a MFM threesome be a deal breaker? I don’t know, as it’s never come up. I’ve done FMF threesomes, so it’d be a little hypocritical of me to be super judgey about her doing what is essentially the same thing. I don’t think that in of itself would be a deal breaker, but if I was unsure about the relationship already, that info might be enough for me to call it…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/22 08:22 PM

There are all sorts of (non-sex related) hypocritical rules to hetero dating. Women only seem get upset about the ones that don’t favor their gender.

It’d depend on the circumstances and context.

However, let’s say she did it enthusiastically, enjoyed it in the moment, but didn’t want to do it again (for whatever reason). In that case, we’re doing it too (within I similar timeframe she did it with the previous guy), or we won’t be da…

It’s my understanding that woman are more likely to introduce/use a weapon against a man than vice versa. I’d have to do research on the severity of injuries between men and women assaulting each other, but I’d venture to guess that women tend to suffer worse injuries since men are usually, bigger, stronger and more resilient.

I can’t imagine trying to force someone to remain celibate. I’d be so thankful that they didn’t leave. If I were the paralyzed one, I’d tell them that if they absolutely wanted to stay, the relationship was now open on their side. Just do it on the DL and don’t embarrass me.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/22 06:43 AM
0

Ok. If you’re happy being celibate your whole life, you do you boo-boo. In this particular scenario, the SO is paralyzed from the neck down. Altering the hypothetical by changing the disability to something less life altering is just a straw man argument. I’m not saying I’d jump down their throat about opening the relationship the day after they became paralyzed. A year later seems reasonable. Even if it’s the last concern, it’s a concern that will need to be addressed at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/22 06:39 AM
1

I think a better question would be, would you stay and if you did, would you remain faithful? Personally, if I stayed, we’d have to drastically alter the terms of our relationship. It’d have to be some kind of one sided open relationship, where I was allowed to maintain casual romantic relationships. I would absolutely offer the same if i was the disabled person and my partner insisted on staying.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/22 03:47 AM

That doesn’t sound like my problem. Unless he used physical force or threatened her to gain her compliance, then it was a choice. If she chooses not to do those things with me, then we simply will no longer be together.

That’s a good point. As an ugly dude, you can become wealthy and find an attractive woman that is willing to sacrifice looks for resources. As an ugly woman, the best you can hope for is an even uglier guy settling for you while her jerks off to pornstars.

Good point. It’s like a job. Am I going to put the same amount of effort into a menial job that pays $40k, as I would a high status job that pays $150k? Heck no. 1) I live in the US 2) Good luck actually proving that in court. It’s tough enough to prove forcible rape. Sure, if you choke the shit out of someone while you’re having sex and leave obvious bruising, I can see securing a conviction on that, but in case like PurpleKittensRock’s, it would be difficult to convince a jury that he raped her.

I don’t think it’s so much women lying about being raped, as it is a misunderstanding of what incidents do and do not qualify as crimes. For instance, both parties are drunk and have sex. The woman claims rape afterwards. I’ll provide another (more ambiguous) example. A man initiates sex with a woman, thinking she’s receptive. She is in fact, unreceptive, but gives no verbal or overt physical cues that she doesn’t want sex. The man has sex with her. She claims rape. Regardless of our feelings on…

I would think that could (partially) be explained by some women looking for a relationship and not a hookup. Many women (people) won’t date someone that they feel they don’t measure up to (financially, authentically, intellectually, scholastically, etc). They assume the person won’t be interested in them long term. It’s why celebrities generally (but not always) stick to dating other celebrities.

My two cents - lower desire for sex combined with the ability (in most cases) to get casual sex whenever they want. It’s my belief that if the majority of men could easily obtain casual sex from women who are their looks match or higher, far fewer men would get into long term relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/22 12:11 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 09:19 PM

Depends on her age, when she started dating and what she considers a “boyfriend.” A 40 year old woman who has never married and dated since she was 15 could have had that many boyfriends without it being an immediate red flag. Personally, I consider any woman I was dating at least a month and sleeping with to be a former girlfriend, regardless of our official status.

Divorce stats say otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 12:26 AM

Depends on her age and whether she was in a relationship with the men she was sleeping with. All other things being the same, I’d prefer a woman who slept with 8 guys who she was in a relationship with over a woman who had 8 partners that were hook ups.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 12:24 AM
2

I think it’d depend on the woman’s knowledge of the guy. For instance, the guy is a hard 10, but she know for a fact he wouldn’t enter an exclusive relationship and/or 100% would cheat if he did.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/22 02:21 PM

That’s why we need to remove the stigma around it. It’s not an accusation of cheating so much as it’s getting a home inspection before buying the house. I don’t care if I’m buying a house from the person I trust most in the world. I’m getting that home inspection.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 12:07 AM

Hiring a PI to invasively investigate someone based off zero suspicion isn’t the same as confirming a child your about sink 18 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars into, is yours. I mean, you’d get a home inspection before you bought a house, wouldn’t you? You wouldn’t just take anyones word, regardless of how much you trusted them, that there were no issues with the house.

Instead of mandatory paternity tests, we should de-stigmatize their use. It’s not about accusing your partner of cheating, it’s about knowing with absolute certainty what the mother inherently knows…that the child is absolutely hers. Let’s be real. You can never really know someone. People change. People go years pretending to be someone they’re not. I think people are focusing (too much) on the morality of the situation. Take gender out of it, because the law does not recognize gender in these situations. Imagine it’s a petite man and a large man. Legally, it appears to be straight up self defense. He struck once after being struck twice.

Well, I’ve been punched in the face lots of times and punched other men in the face lots of times. I never died and they never died. You’re not understanding. I don’t completely disagree with you. But people in the real world clearly don’t give a shit about proportional response. If you take it upon yourself to unnecessarily escalate a situation to violence (as it appears happened here), you’re taking the risk that you’re gonna lose badly. And disabled people have special protections under the law. Women (for the most part) do not. A better analogy would be a petite man picking a fight with a large man. In that hypothetical, …

There’s not a lot of exposition at the beginning of the series. Most of the protagonist’s story and wold building is sprinkled through the series. For instance, it was revealed in the last season that she wasn’t actually forced into becoming a Handmaid. She was given the option to go to a labor camp instead. Given that the labor camps were located in toxic/irradiated areas, it wasn’t much of a choice. Get raped or die.

No. She was branded an adulteress as she “stole” another woman’s husband. As a result, she was essentially stripped of her citizenship. I don’t recall how the government knew exactly. Her husband’s ex wife probably told them. Something that I think is lost on a lot of people is yes, Gilead is the antagonist of the story. They’re terrible (except oddly hard left on environmentalism). BUT, they’ll probably be the last man standing (within the continuity of the show) in half a century when other country’s populations have dwindled to unsustainable numbers and they collapse. The show isn’t just warning of righ…

Most definitely. It’s a way for pedos to get around the illegality of child porn. It’s basically their version of a Victoria’s Secret catalog. I think his point is, the usual feminist argument regarding promiscuity is, as long as she wasn’t harming anyone, what difference does it make what she’s done, regardless of how deviant. Jerking off to clothed pics of kids isn’t (or hasn’t) harmed anyone, so should be just as judgment proof as a woman’s promiscuity. Disclaimer: I think any pedophile, rega…

Came here to say this. Most women are terrible at sex and are doing less than 20% of the work. They think because guys always cum, they’re good. Congrats, you dunked on a play-school basketball hoop. I’ve only been with a handful of women that have actually gotten me off. Extremely few that weren’t long term partners that knew my likes. With the rest, I’m making myself cum with their bodies. Women wonder why dudes will cheat with ugly/fat chicks. Part of reason why is, a lot of those ugly/fat ch…

You bring up an interesting point. I’d imagine a very attractive but low libido woman might go for (settle) for a less attractive man. She might believe that a less attractive man will take the trade and/or not cheat, where a more attractive man would either pressure her into frequent sex and/or cheat.

Probably a combination of you not liking typical African facial features, dark skin tone and the fact that black women are more often overweight compared to other races/ethnicities. My biggest issue with abortion is that only allowing women to “abort” it’s sexist. If a woman can get an abortion for the sole reason of opting out of parenthood, then men should be able to legally divest themselves from financial responsibility of an unwanted child.

A lot of women (as I’ve discovered through various conversations irl and on here) are simply unaware of the power differential between men and women. I think most women’s only experience “fighting” a man is play wrestling with a SO, where the guy is going about 1/3 his actual strength and speed.

Men and women do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/21 11:10 AM

Then all work is coercion, in which case we’re talking about something else entirely. Unless no other jobs are available (and they weren’t trafficked) then it’s not coercion as it is generally defined.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 07:53 AM

You assume they were in a relationship. You assume the relationship wasn’t unilaterally terminated by the man at the woman’s dissent. You assume it ended due to incompatibility and not logistics.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 07:51 AM

They want to have complete agency until it doesn’t work out. Then, they’re naive, impressionable and have limited or no responsibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 07:36 AM

Is it ok to be someone’s sex toy for free?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 03:19 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 03:13 AM

You could make the same claim about a lot of jobs, but you probably wouldn’t classify them as undignified.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 03:08 AM

What does your opinion of sex have to do with anyone else? Yes trafficking happens, but this conversation isn’t about the negative aspects of a particular industry.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 03:07 AM

It’s still prohibitively expensive and most of the women aren’t exactly 10/10.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 02:58 AM

So, you want to legislate an act, based on your own personal views of the act? An act, that if done consensually, harms no one.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 02:57 AM
-1

You’re not buying them. They’re not fucking slaves that you’re going to take home and rape. You’re buying a service they offer. Like a massage.

It absolutely can be argued and regularly is.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 02:52 AM
1

So, you agree that it’s ok for men to judge promiscuous women and either not date them, or only date them casually (ie for sex only)?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 02:51 AM
2

But that’s not always a correct assumption. There have been famous, rich, attractive men that have been caught with escorts. They can pull women easily, but still choose to fuck hookers. Why? Because they’re not paying for the sex. They’re paying them to leave after the sex. It’s a no drama, no strings exchange.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 02:49 AM
13

Right? It’s a handful of fundamentalist men and 80% of women preventing its legalization.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 02:46 AM
15

But I thought the feminist/liberal mantra was that sex work is work. If it’s legitimate work, then it is not undignified.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 02:40 AM
3

I think access to moderately priced AND attractive prostitutes would drastically change things. Most attractive hookers are prohibitively expensive. A lot of reasonably priced or cheap escorts aren’t women you’d even want to fuck for free.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 02:37 AM
1

I suppose you could pick which “rules” apply to you then.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/21 11:21 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/21 09:10 PM

One can like somebody more, but be less sexually attracted to them than they were somebody else.

I agree that my internalized reaction to it would be different depending on their intent, but I think my response would still be to consider ending the relationship. I’d still be dissatisfied regardless of their reason. Obviously, the length of the relationship and whether I have assets/kids with this person would factor in. It’d also matter if they were willing to supplement piv with other stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 03:43 AM

And how is he doing harm? He didn’t say he was giving them an ultimatum, just that he’d dip if it didn’t happen after a couple weeks.

I told my ex gf of 3 years something similar at the beginning of our relationship. Basically, that I wouldn’t be denied intimacy. Whatever the reason, it’s recipe for disaster. Cheating in stay at home dad relationships are higher than the average. Either the dad has too much free time and starts banging stay at home moms that they meet at the playground, or the wife no longer respects the husband for taking on a typically feminine role and looks for a more traditional male.

Sweden, right? Do you happen to know if 50/50 custody is the norm, or do the courts prefer to have a “primary” parent and/or is preference given to the mother?

It’s called the Baby Moses Law. Most, it not all, American states have it. As long as you do it at a designated place (ie a fire station), you can literally abandon a child without legal repercussions. It’s to prevent people from killing their babies. The government would rather you abandon it than murder it (obviously).

Yeah, that’s easy and I’m pretty sure not what OP is talking about. What if it was something more nuanced. Say your husband was backing out of the driveway, ran over and killed a kid. Let’s assume it was entirely not his fault (at least in the legal sense). The kids parents were prominent members of the community and turned everyone against him and have him labeled a child killer. What do you do?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/21 11:15 PM
2

Some. Most don’t. You’ve gotta be above average in looks, have a round head and be muscular to look good bald. Most guys aren’t gonna pull it off. This is coming from a guy who started balding in his early 20s. This guy was neither exceptionally handsome or built.

If she had been some fugly middle aged white lady or minority (specifically black), opinions would be skewed much differently. The most likely explanation is that he killed her (probably accidentally), but it’s definitely not the only explanation, especially considering her documented abuse of him.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/09/21 03:52 PM

I’ve seen people literally calling him an abuser. What? There is zero evidence of that at the moment. Just speculation.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/09/21 01:08 PM

Right? How often are women given a pass (morally if not legally) when they finally stand up the their abuser, resulting in the abuser’s death.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/09/21 01:06 PM

She was hot and he was prematurely bald. Probably though he wouldn’t get another hottie and stuck with her hoping she’d eventually get her head on straight.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/09/21 01:04 PM

I’m thinking she put hands on him one too many times and he finally belted her and she hit her head on a coffee table or something (essentially an accidental killing/manslaughter).

They say it’s about body autonomy, but some point in the far future, when the fetus can be safely transferred to an artificial womb, the reasons will flip flop. It’s weird to that if you’re together, you can determine the financial cost of a child on your own, but when you’re not together, one parent (almost always mom) gets to determine what that cost is.

I don’t hate fat women. I’ll occasionally fuck them when I can’t pull a hottie. But I wouldn’t be able to maintain attraction for a very large woman over time. The only exception might be is if she started out thin, I fell in love and then she got big.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/21 11:00 PM

Who is obsessing? Yeah there are some chubby chasers. Some. No one is denying that. But I bet all the women those chubby chasers are after have attractive faces. Regular men will date fat chicks and ugly chicks when there are no other options. Personally, I’ll take a thin ugly chick over a obese girl with a pretty face. Now, I might take a chubby (but not obese) pretty girl over a thin ugly girl. It just depends how much chub.

I just thought to myself, “I feel bad for that guy.” The first time I had sex with my gf I “took” her. Literally picked her up and put her on the bed. There were, of course, clear signs she was into me prior to this. She later explained that it made her super excited and greatly contributed on us sleeping together as quickly as we did (3rd date).

I’ll rephrase. No here is advocating dating a high schooler. I mean, it’s all semantics. What the difference between an 18 and 19 year old, a 19 year old and a 20 year old? It literally matters fuck all what we think anyways. We can have philosophical arguments all day about age gaps, but at the end of the day, the government(s) has decided you can fuck whoever you want at (at the oldest) 18. Shit, we allow 18 year olds make porn, but our heads explode if a 20 year old is dating a 30 year old.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/21 04:59 AM

Not necessarily. Hold older men may have chosen poorly in their youth and are now divorced due to no fault of their own. Or, having options, they never settled down and only considered doing so in their late 30s or 40s.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/21 02:50 AM

What a silly come back. There are plenty of reasons for a 30 something man not to be with a woman his own age; better looking face, better body, less emotional baggage, less physical baggage (ie debt and kids).

I don’t know. I’m late 30s and clearly balding (wear it short, but not completely shaved) and when I’ve been single (maybe totaling a year in the last 5 years), I’ve dated/ slept with with decent to hot women in their 20s, as young as 21. Maybe they like older guys and since it’s normal for men my age to be balding, they don’t care. The topic has never come up. I don’t exclusively date 30 somethings. I’m not doing anything like buying them gifts or taking them on fancy dates. I’m nominally hands…

I don’t disagree with you. If you’re acting in a certain way only to get someone to marry you and you have no intention of continuing those acts after marriage, that’s deceitful and wrong…like stopping regular sex shortly after your married.

They can absolutely be one sided, but I agree that they are often a multifaceted issue. Go to r/deadbedrooms. Plenty of people there complaining how once married, every day sex turned into once a week sex and then once a month. If you don’t want to be beholden to someone else’s sexual needs, then don’t get married and keep your romantic relationships casual.

I disagree. You owe your spouse sexual intimacy. That’s literally the agreement (unless otherwise discussed) when you get married. That being said, there absolutely shouldn’t be any law enforcing that, nor any real (government enforced) consequences for not having marital sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/21 04:08 AM

The whole idea of criminalizing lies that do not cause financial or physical injury is dumb in the first place. If you’re so eager to have sex with someone prior to vetting them, then that’s the risk you take upon yourself.

I think height matters to a point (culturally and instinctively). If a man is over a certain threshold in height, let’s say 5’10, the majority of women will care more about how handsome he is and how good his physique is, than how many inches over 5’10 he is. Sure, you have height snobs, but I doubt they’re representative of most women. I think men see breasts the same way women see height. Our culture has programmed men to think bigger is better. I have no idea what dad’s want. If I had a 20 year old daughter I’d rather she be with a 30 year old that treated her right, didn’t cheat, had a good job and wasn’t partying all the time more than I would a 20 year old guy that was immature, mistreated her and was always drinking. It’d be way more about the man’s qualities than his age.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:07 AM

The OP’s point is that it’s not inherently predatory. Your argument seems to be that because there is a possible power imbalance due to life experience, women shouldn’t even take the chance of engaging with a more mature and financially stable man. You could have a man and a woman who are exactly the same age and still have a massive power imbalance due to differences in intelligence or wealth, yet most (older) women aren’t nearly as wary of those power imbalances. Maybe it’s because THOSE power…

And you don’t think the young girls want to “smash” the older guys? They do. They’re “consenting,” just like this young boy did. It’s ALL gross. The fact that any child “consents” to sex with an adult is irrelevant to the issue.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/07/21 04:30 PM
2

That’s a good point. If someone “had sex” with an adult with Down Syndrome, it’d absolutely be considered a bad thing for the MR person. A young adolescent has (generally) the same mentality as an adult (high functioning) MR person, yet when it’s a young boy that was raped, a lot of people will think there will be no negative consequences for that child, though we know that very often it’ll lead to massive distinction as an adult and a propensity to offend against children themselves.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/07/21 04:27 PM
3

It is. I have first hand experience with one. Mid 30s teacher raped a 12 year old boy. She was maybe a 5/10 (if that). I’m not sure if it even made the local news.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/07/21 04:21 PM
3

They’re not. Those are just the ones that make national headlines. There are plenty of average to ugly teachers that rape their students.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/07/21 04:18 PM
1

Does it matter? At what age do you just consider it straight rape, regardless of the child’s “consent”? 12, 11, 10, 9?

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/21 12:18 AM
1

That’s fair. You’re allowed to have whatever standards you’d like.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 11:27 PM
3

I think it’s fine to have certain hypocritical standards. Chastity is typically associated with women and femininity. I don’t see it as a problem wanting a chaste woman while also not being chaste yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 11:19 PM
21

This is extremely common.
/r/PussyPassDenied15/07/21 10:11 PM
1

That’s a fallacy. I get sex regularly. 3 to 6 days a week (depending on work/life schedule). I’m in a monogamous relationship. Even when not in a relationship, I’m able to get casual sexual partners. I use porn occasionally in both situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 04:13 PM
2

But simultaneously probably wouldn’t date a guy that has been to a sex worker. If the woman has EVER engaged in casual sex, I find that standard entirely hypocritical as even a plain looking women can get sex from a stranger practically instantaneously. An average man’s access to instant sex is far more limited.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 04:07 PM
1

For good or bad, your basic point is correct. It goes for men and women, what you won’t do, someone else will.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 04:04 PM
4

If one of your standards is a man taller than you, that’s technically hypocrisy. Not necessarily a bad a thing, as you don’t have much control over what you’re attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 03:58 PM
2

Both men and women (generally speaking) have hypocritical romantic standards. Why is hypocrisy when it comes to n-count such a big deal to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/21 03:53 PM
