If I had a child boy or girl there is no way I would allow them to be manipulated for this woman's political/social beliefs.

They are not even placing a priority on "women's issues." They are placing a priority on getting highly privileged, university trained middle and upper class women cushy, high paid jobs in academia. They aren't concerned with the more pressing problems faced by lower class woman in their own society. They are just a self-interested group of opportunists using the guise of "gender equality" to secure high paying, low stress jobs with full benefits. If I were a working class English women I would …

In the name of gender equality we are going to ignore men and focus on getting women cushy high-paid jobs. No wonder Orwell was a product of English society.

You deserve this kind of treatment as a self-proclaimed "progressivist." Which means you either supported these people and their ideology or were actively involved in propagating it. People like you go along with these bullies, never speak out against their attacks on others then cry foul when they come after YOU. You deserve every bit of their hostility and more. I have no idea why this myth keeps being repeated. No job I have ever worked has ever paid men and women doing the same job less "just because." Why would a company pay a man extra for doing the same work. Makes no sense. No one I have talked to has ever worked in a situation where men got paid a bonus over women for no reason. How can people believe obviously bullshit articles like this when the experience of the working world is so much different?
