They are placing a priority on getting highly privileged, university trained middle and upper class women cushy, high paid jobs in academia. 6	CNN money decides to up the ante, pegs the "gender pay gap" at 66%, then doubles down on misinformation and calls the 66% (already wrong) figure for "similar work." I have no idea why this myth keeps being repeated. No job I have ever worked has ever paid men and women doing the same job less "just because." Why would a company pay a man extra for doing the same work. Makes no sense. No one I have talked to has ever worked in a situation where men got paid a bonus over women for no reason.
