This is a brilliant post. In fact, you are used to a certain lifestyle. She was cleaning the house, making half of all dinners, and lunches. She needs to either come and keep doing those acts as long as I pay alimony or she needs to pay me the equivalent in replacement for those services.

Healthcare. If you actually want a stay at home mom and want children, your SO will be left out in the cold. Imagine the mom of your kids not being able to get help with medical issues because you have medical insurance through work but she has nothing because she stays home. Imagine if she gets into a mild accident and has to go to the ER? What if she gets cancer? What are you planning to do? We need to hurry the fuck up with universal healthcare here in America.

It’s sad when the step kids treat you like shit after the split. I treated you kids with kindness and respect. I showed you the same level of kindness and respect that I showed my own kids. Why would they turn against me like that when the divorce happens? It sometimes hurts more than what the ex does to you.
