Not universal. Leblouh (Arabic: البلوح,romanized: lə-blūḥ) is the practice of force-feeding girls from as young as five to nineteen, in countries where obesity was traditionally regarded as desirable. Especially prevalent in rural areas and having its roots in Tuareg tradition, leblouh is practiced to increase chances of marriage in a society where high body volume used to be a sign of wealth. The practice occurs in several African countries, such as Mauritania, Niger,Uganda, Sudan,Tunisia (spec…

Because those men benefit from the maintenance, defense and provision of society too. They get paid for the work they do and money is very important for everyone's survival and wellbeing.

"Women are the ones claiming men are scarier that feral bears. Sounds like they'd be a lot more afraid in that scenario. " And men are the ones claiming they are more likely to be victims of male violence. Sounds like they'd be more at risk in that scenario.

Currently, men are more likely to be victims of other men's violence. That makes me think it is possible men would end up more screwed in the scenario you present.

He could get as much ass but he cannot illicit the same genuine attraction/ desire that handsome and wealthy men such as DiCaprio and Woods can. And he is probably aware of that himself (impossible not to be if he's ever looked in a mirror) and being with women who only want him for his money may not be that great of a feeling, quite the opposite.

Bezos is and always has been unattractive ( short, sub par face ), DiCaprio and Tiger Woods were handsome well into their 40s. Huge difference.

Exactly, lucky for you. If most men were like you, it wouldn't be an issue of luck, just normality.

''Who want's bitter women like that anyway? They are just full of baggage and will resent the first good man they settle for'' - Fair enough. What I'm saying is you may choose/ want young women but they may not choose/want you back. Which is also fair.

I was under the impression we were discussing about all women. I re-read the comment you replied too and I think that is indeed the case. It's not just jaded women who never left the dating apps. Perfectly understandable that most women do not pursue/ want men they find unattractive btw.

If most women hold out until their late 30s, most men will not be able to choose younger. Perfectly understandable to prefer younger women btw, if I was a man I would too.

Eastern European here (born and bred). We have a saying here in Romania "zi ca el, fă ca tine" which roughly translates to "agree with your (male) partner but ultimately do what you want to do". In other words, don't be confrontational about getting your ownway. Just because a woman seems/ acts submissive doesn't mean she is genuinely like that. It's just smarter to act that way in her relationships with the stronger sex.

I can have orgasms by myself (masturbating). I was stressed about uni/ exams in June but that is no longer the case. I do like him and he treats me well.

I can't opine on hookups, I've only ever had sex with one man whom I'm in a LTR with. Unfortunately the sex is not great.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 09:05 AM

"I think the reason so many women have a hard time not understanding lonely men who want sex and relationships is because the average woman can have sex or start a relationship anytime she likes." I think the reason is that most women don't lust over/ desire most men on a visceral level and the fact that they have a lower sex drive. As a woman I just don't find sex that impressive to be brutally honest so I don't get what all the fuss is about. I had sex for the first time 7 months ago and it's …

I don't make a conscious choice not to like someone (man or woman), it's something that happens by itself. That said, mistreating or humiliating someone just because you don't happen to like them is not OK IMO. As for having standards that are too high, as long as women realise that those standards might mean they never find a partner and are willing to take that chance, so be it. That would indeed be their fault and not that of men. "You’re insufferable people." Good riddance then. Thank you fo…

If in order to "create" children we must live a good portion of our lives with someone we don't like, then it is not worth the effort. Plus, children have their own lives to live (as they should). Even if we do have them, apart from the occasional visit and phone call, we will be alone. Such is old age.

Same could be said about having a partner and not just because said partner is undesirable to us but also because we live longer and are more biologically prone to depression than men.

Is she happy? That's the only thing that should matter. Why is that the only thing that should matter? Her being happy doesn't mean a pre-teen getting married is a good idea. It's way too early to be having sex/ children.

A girl around your height's looksmatch (in terms of height) is not someone around her height (because of sexual dimorphism) but rather her height+average difference between male and female height in her country. Apparently in the US that average difference is 14 cm or roughtly 5.5 inches.

''but what about men willing to provide for her or support her emotionally?'' In my experience, those men are always few and far between, even when the woman is young. And it's no wonder: men are hard wired biologically to want to sleep with as many women as possible. Usually that means they are not keen on committing to just one woman.

This isn't about feminists being right or wrong. This is about the statement you made (''Men evolved to be attracted to women who show clear signs of not being currently pregnant by another man''). Thank you for your time.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 05:55 PM

''They don't. They like medium sized breasts the most.'' Fair enough. But how come they don't specifically like small breasts since that is more of a clear sign of them not being currently pregnant by another man than medium sized breasts? The flatter the chest, the less likely the woman is to be pregnant. I am strictly discussing about size here.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 04:05 PM

''Men evolved to be attracted to women who show clear signs of not being currently pregnant by another man''. Correct me if I'm wrong but breasts get bigger when women are pregnant, so why do men (generally speaking) like voluptuous boobs?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 10:50 AM

How fat are we talking (what height and weight/ dress size is she)?

The only reason you mentioned that makes men work enough to sustain modern society is "chances to get laid". Everything else is something a man can do without being as productive as modern society needs him to be. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Thank you for your input.

Making enough money to survive and be entertained is easy. I disagree, it is not easy, especially if one doesn't live in the so-called western world . And in the past, for the vast majority of the population, it was downright difficult to put food on the table and entertainment was a luxury. It is indeed explained by men wanting more, men wanting to increase the quality of the food they're eating, house they live in, stuff they acquire, chances to get laid.

Every single brick you see around you is there because a man wanted to get laid. Every single modern comfort you enjoy is there because a man wants to get laid. Every single brick you see around you is there because a man wanted to eat, have a roof over their head, be able to buy stuff, get laid . Every single modern comfort you enjoy is there because a man wants to eat, have a roof over their head, be able to buy stuff, get laid.

"What you got to understand about a woman and what they have to offer; it's two things: number one- their fertility, number two: their looks, their beauty" (Darius M, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O60Du8AFaIA)

So the man you love doesn't actually love you back and is just using your body while it's young? I don't know. And yes, I really think someone who loves you can find you physically unattractive.

I don't recall men ever saying that they won't value anything outside of looks. I do. And again, it is for reasons outside of their control so they can't help it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 06:00 PM

It is my understanding that men, by their own admission, are interested in looks first and foremost for reasons outside of their control (biology). Thus, they would not find value in other things even if they wanted to.

I have and it is precisely because I love my partner that I don't want to lock him down.

I am not here to propose alternatives (assuming there are any). I would just urge women to seriously consider that by locking a man down they are doing him a great disservice and most likely making him miserable in the medium and long run. It sounds like an awful thing to put a man through, all the more so if you genuinely care about/ love him.

Poor men, why lock them down and "condemn" them to living with a woman whose value will only drop in their eyes as she ages? Why should women do that to them and why should men accept such a bad deal?

Has anyone considered that the wall (which I define as a woman losing her attractiveness as she ages, which is a reality imo) has its benefits? Getting more undesirable means men are more likely to see the benefit in women being independent because then they're not stuck with what in their eyes is a depreciating asset. The wall can be our ally and we should not only acknowledge that it exists but actively use it to discourage others from making us dependent on men. For their sake and ours.

"Who cares what totallyworkinghere thinks about their dating choices when they're 18 years old versus 26 years old?" I do and maybe other younger women do as well. "You don't like it that men want young and beautiful women? Welcome to reality. It's always been this way and it will always be this way. MEN LOVE AND WANT YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN." We know. And it is precisely for this reason why young women should be cautious: their youth and thus their value to men is fleeting and they risk being…

I think you're right when you say new job positions were not created for every woman but I think it's possible that men alone wouldn't be able to do all those jobs simply because there's not enough of them to fill in the vacancies left by women should they stop working. There seems to be a shortage of workforce in some fields "dominated" by women even at the present moment (nurses, teachers). Also, some activities such as caring for the elderly or young children might be considered new positions…

But don't women generally choose occupations that are different from those most men tend to gravitate towards? The whole women are interested in people, men are interested in things paradigm which influences their choices in terms of the job and education they pursue. If that's the case, wouldn't that mean men tend to compete mostly with other men in the workforce?

It may be jealousy and sexual competition but they do have a point: if what draws the man to her is her fleeting youth, she is likely to be discarded once she grows old. Now, she is free to take on that risk or she can choose to spend that period of her life doing sth else like investing in her education to improve her job prospects (aging is not as big an issue when it comes to the job market so it is a safer bet for women) or she can choose to profit off of her looks by doing only fans while s…

In my opinion, even if a company could easily fire someone, the main difference is that it would hurt less because generally one is less emotionally invested in it (than in a partner) which makes getting back on one's feet easier.

Most men are ok with staying with their aging partners if they are good and loyal. I find that very surprising, even baffling because it seems to go against their very nature. Thank you for answering my question.

In all seriousness, why wouldn't a woman having a job/ career not be a great thing for men? Since it means they are no longer stuck with and responsible for a person whose value (looks and fertility) will drop immensely in their eyes very early on.

But then why society should prevent men from getting sex the way they could if they wanted, ie without women's opinion about it? Why do you think society is preventing this from happening at the moment?
