I strongly doubt that domestic violence charges get you less jail time. For the same type of assault. You probably would never get an assault conviction on minor domestic violence like screaming, shoving, pushing, or light slapping.

this is the problem. Modern law and penal code is in violation of 3000 year old language meaning. Modern law, under feminist influence, abuses and rapes 3000 year old language to give them a new meaning. For purely manipulative purposes, to entice the populace to demand higher sentencing for lesser crimes, that now have the same name.

the word rape has been abused a lot. The problem is that feminists re-defined rape as "statutory rape" (consensual sex with a minor) and then left out the word "statutory" So rape already is being used for consensual sex (by the claim that a 16, 14, 12 year old cannot consent. Well a 16 year old knows the difference between consenting and being raped at knife point). I don't want to discuss what the correct age of consent should be, just that the word rape should not be used for consensual activ…

I thought that domestic violence is a label that carries stronger sanctions. Non-bailable, instant arrest. Even for minor things. A little slap, alleged, unproven, already gets you into jail instantly. And yes, the statistics. Screws up the statistics. If a man offends a women, screams at a woman, shoves her lightly ===> domestic violence Women set man on fire, chases him with knife ==> not domestic violence

disgusting law. Yes, creepy lies to bed a girl are a bad thing. That still does not make it rape. And, as someone pointed out already, the man might really have wanted to marry the girl, but then found out that she is a psycho and changed his mind. He thus became a rapist.

even in this r/MensRights nobody found the truth: the culprit is the selfish mother that kept the father's identity secret Here is the truth that has been omitted: http://thinkingoutloudcafe.wordpress.com/2010/10/09/timeline-in-the-vaughn-wyrembek-adoption-custody-case/ the adoptive parents did a legal filibuster to deny the father's legal rights, from DNA test to visitation. In Germany, a law to make DNA testing a felony punishable with jail, was narrowly defeated. They came up with the theory that it violates the right of the baby to its genetic information. In Britain, under certain circumstances, a man gets jail for DNA testing. Feminists rail that DNA testing is unjust, that it takes away a traditional feminine advantage. It is in these lengthy articles, need to dig it up. http://human-stupidity.com/stupid-dogma/mens-rights-feminism/men-pay-child-support-even-if…

Great link. I hate if if someone proves my pet theory wrong ;-) but certainly a study to be looked at. Guess I would have to read Baker's research in detail to have a more educated opinion about it.

There will be lots of people now questioning what this has to do with mens rights. 1) mainly men get arrested and get long jail terms for child porn possession. Except for a few poor teenage girls that get arrested for sexting their own nude photos, everyone else is male. 2) The type of child porn females like to read (long books about childhood abuse, being sold into sex slavery) are readily available on Amazon, have an entire section on amazon.co.uk and carry no punishment 3) Most might not be…

I am making the same point, when I said he is not alpha, behaves like a "nice guy" and wimp. Saying such things not to offend but to help him understand. so you are not the only one.
/r/MensRights01/12/10 09:33 PM

being an alpha male usually does not mean to hit. You can impose your will in soft but certain ways. Try what i suggested, it might take weeks and month for you to slowly get the gist of being alpha. Also you have to be alpha with women. The strange thing is, if you start disrespecting women, demanding respect, being cocky, etc, women suddenly like you more and respect you more. Even though they always tell you that you should be soft, nice, etc. Now Xuma talks a lot about the limits between the…

I have never heard about anyone getting upset, if a woman secretly takes the pill or gets her monthly birth control shots. Or, if a woman decides for an abortion, against the husband's wishes. But, still, your behavior is sneaky and kind of dishonest. But, women doing similar, and worse, things, usually do not encounter moral condemnation.

I answered this before, but will repeat it here. He did not change his mind and tell her to stop, out of a whim. It was clear, a pre-condition to sex, to stop at his ejaculation. This is very different. They agreed to certain sexual behavior, and she did things that he had ruled out in advance. Of course, he probably should not have had sex with her anyway, or only with condoms.
/r/MensRights01/12/10 05:42 PM

This is a good point. I would not have thought of it. This is a clear case of rape, because it is not equal to a whacko woman who, right before orgasm changes her mind and calls rape. This is a violation of agreement. It is like a woman allows you to have sex and you do anal sex instead. She did a sex act outside of what was agreed to be done, agreed to beforehand.
/r/MensRights01/12/10 05:39 PM

good point. But the way the law is stacked, you might get jailed for that. Self defense laws don't count against women in your family. Rape laws do count. This is what this men's rights reddit is about. Injustice.

I feel for you, and I am sorry for all the undeserved trouble you are going through. A lot of it, of course, is due to the fact that the law is stacked against men. But there is another part where you could have done better. Some people already pointed it out, partially. Exactly! prison rape is considered a just punishment. http://human-stupidity.com/stupid-dogma/human-rights/stop-prison-rape-legalize-corporal-punishment The problem is that the wrong guys yet raped in prison: the worst, most violent prisoners rape the guys who didn't pay their parking ticket. I first thought this was an interesting comment, an interesting alternative. Now I see that this opinion seems to be the reason for massive downvoting. That same article has been downvoted systematically in spearhead (a man's rights site). I am starting to believe in conspiracy theories. Actually, women have institutional power over men. So by feminist definition, women and feminsts are sexist. In family court. In divorce proceedings. In rape accusations. In child abuse accusations. In all these cases, all institutions like police and court are squarely on women's side. Due process has been elimiated. Only in women's issues men are guilty until proven innocent. No corroboration is needed. Only a women accuser. Institutions like United Nations are on women's side, accepting and s…

well, so far legislation and persecution is getting worse every year. Find me people who actually rescind feminists laws. People who make laws to give men more rights in child support cases, reinstate due process in rape prosecutions, liberate prostitution, diminish age of consent, reduce or abolish draconian child porn penalties. Then I believe you. But if you think there is light at the end of the tunnel, show proof, bring up links.

Though I agree with you, as a devils advocate I must say that men are even more obsolete, and old argument of feminists. One man can generate enough sperm to fertilize dozens, or even thousands of women, with no new technology needed. But, I agree, an answer must be found to the profound, unjust, dangerous changes created by feminist law makers and law enforcement. Of course, somehow men are to blame. It is not that men resist all these injustices and a 52% women's majority forces these laws dow…

Why did she tolerate abuse for years? Why did she not leave? Why did she not make a simple accusation of violence? I wonder what other solutions would be possible. One main problem is that all accusations bring along 5 year jail sentences. Could there not be family mediation courts? Mandatory counselling? Anything the does not lead to immediate felony charges!?

You should say what type of academic paper you are writing. English? Sociology? women's study? Psychology? If it is a graduate paper in psychology, you would have to deliver some hard facts, quantitative research papers. None of the books here look like they are acceptable for this. Unless if they cite quantitative research. Good luck on your paper. Of course, you might get a bad grade if your prof is a feminist.

Any man who did this would have been arrested immediately, with no bail, or with $ 500 000 bail. Even if the women were against the arrest. No excuse. The entire camera crew would have called the police. This is really unjust, gender discrimination as usual. If he had hit her back, he also would have gotten arrested immediately. If one gets punched in the back, does she not deserve to be punched back? On top of everything, she was verbally abusive, and destroyed his property. That alone would ha…

What are men's rights? Most victims of these underage laws are men (or 6 year old boys). These laws are just geared towards men, and selectively enforced against males, as shown in the article. Also most are anti-sexuality, guess men might be interested in that too. And some men might care if their pre-teen kids get arrested for hugging the school teacher. But I am curious, what you guys consider men's rights. Some persecution that seems to single out men (over 90%) is not enough? And the occasi…

This is soooo shocking. Feminists manage to rescind all kind of humanistic progress in legal due process since the middle ages. Due process, separation of civil and penal law, debtor's prison, etc. On top of allowing men to be arrested and kicked out of their own home upone mere unsupported allegations by women. Just shocking beyond belief. You are talking about totally ruining people's lives. Sometimes this is not clear. A guy can be totally ruined, his life destroyed. Even if the kids were not…

** a few excerpts from article ** What used to be called “playing doctor” for young children or thought of as normal sexual experimentation for older teens is now enough to get a kid arrested, taken away in handcuffs, put in juvenile jail, subjected to draconian psychological “treatment,” and put on a sex offender registry, often for the rest of his or her life! This is not just for aggressive or violent behavior, but for innocent, consensual play among giggling kids. [...] In these modern times…

I will ignore your slightly rude tone. But I understand, the anti child porn crusade has seriously brainwashed most people so they get profoundly irritated, like about religious topics. I will repeat my argument I posted below, as it really is directed towards you. Interesting how people think this has nothing to do with men's rights. good you actually scientifically deal with the arguments. Now I did not write a complete scientific treatise. Most citations are in links at human-stupidity in the article, and of course in lots of links here in reddit. Now, on the other hand, for locking up someone for 22 years for looking at photos, maybe there need to be citations for how deadly these photos are. Wow. I almost agreed with you there for a second. great if we agree on the most obvious points. That is 95% of the issue. Plain adolescnet nudity or sensuality yields drakonian jail. So we might only disagree on the extreme tasteless true child porn which is probably less then 5%. This also makes it a men's issue: a huge percentage of men find 17 year old girls attractive. The issue of how much protection or punishment is needed for the rare pervert that is attracted to 5 year olds is a fringe t…

We've decided that it's impossible to create child pornography (which an adult would have access to) without being exploitative of the children (and adolescents are children). So this applies to drawings? to photshop concoctions? to European "apparently underage" laws that outlaw 23 year old pony tail girl nudes and call it child porn? 23 year olds? And to 15 year olds that photograph themselves in the mirror? The only trauma they get is the police arrest and inquiry afterwards! And try to tell …

Or for having a nude photo of the girlfriend who is 16, over the local age of consent. He can have sex with her, but not her photo. More citations: And Judge Weinstein seems to talk about REAL child porn, 5 year olds engaging in sex. Convicting a guy for watching 10-17 year old girls dancing provocatively, wearing leotards (in Knox vs US), or for inadvertently downloading photos of 17 year old nudes is even more disproportionally cruel. A adolescent nudes lover (which is unjustly called child porn) says: “Just because I like pictures of 14 year old girls doesn’t mean I prowl shopping malls to rape and kill"

that is exactly the point. In all other fields, there is due process, constitutional guarantees. If someone accuses you of stealing groceries, of poisoning groceries, they have to prove it. Vengeful women cannot get back at you accusing you of poisoning food or stealing groceries. Because they would have to prove it. Nor can they take food out of the store and send the bill to you.

come on. A man locked among horny criminal predators is in constant danger of being raped. Females being raped by male guards, who are free law abiding me should not be a pervasive permanent constant problem. While this might happen, it certainly is not a problem a female prisoner needs to worry about 24 hours. Also, I am sure, feminists would be concerned about women being raped by men. Now a female being forced by dykes to be a sex slave, this probably happens.

It has to do with men's rights to not get threatened, persecuted, beaten up. Never seen a woman getting threatened for being attracted to 16 year old heartthrob boy singers or movie stars. Not even for being attracted to 5 year old boys. Note the issue here is that he openly admits to being attracted to very young girls under 10, but totally respects the law and does not do anyting with them. I would be much more worried about a school bully, about a convicted and freed street tough, robber, or …

Right, twice in the history of medicine. And in every apartment building there are 2 cuckold fathers who pay for a kid that is not theirs. Genetic testing seems to be on ly 99.999 % precise. Too bad. If mother is very sure, maybe she can demand additional testing. If she cheated and there is a chymera problem, tough luck. It is interesting how a tiny danger of injustice towards females becomes a huge problem, while injustice to 10 % of the men is not an issue

google "dna paternity testing". You find it for 99 dollars, per person. That makes it a total of $ 300. Even cheaper. Now that is retail. I know this doctor who told me that insurances pay $ 2.50 for lab tests you and me would pay $ 80. I am quite confident, if you buy 50 million of those DNA tests, you get the total price anywhere from 100 down to 10.

This is pretty shocking and outrageous. Clear evidence of blatant gender discrimination. Of course, this seems to be normal. Can you document all your clamis with EVIDENCE? Furnish the schedules on the internet, or scanned? Maybe some blogs can pick up your letter, but then more evidence is needed.

Great article. Must see. Shocking to know that little babies get a piece of their penis cut off without anesthesia, because people think they feel no pain. Pretty interesting that 1/3 downvoted this! 18 up, down. Who would downvote this? Rabid feminists who just downvote out of principle?

It is the fault of both. But a bunch of highly paid, highly educated manipulating advertising officials is just too much for the average guy to resist. The results you see in the obesity statistics. Parents already got brainwashed. We would need government or NGO makeing shaming campaigns against overeating, junk food eating, feeding wrong food to fat kids, etc. to counter this. Parents are responsible, but they already got brainwashed.

This is terrible. Actually he did not get convicted to 14 years. He already SPENT 14 years in jail. Terrible. And he probably does not even have the money to pay ..... This is e in the middle ageslik. I wish some really malicious fraudsters were locked up until they pay up.

I finally got it. Did not read or not understand your comments before. I thought I was especially clever for posting both links and comment. Now I think reddit could somehow advise that only one of the two will be posted. Am I the only one that got caught up in this?

I am aghast. The guy who got his dick cut off is asking for forgiveness, and the vicous criminal mutilator accepting the excuse! "[At] our own wedding reception, he left me alone," says Lorena. "We didn't have a honeymoon, so to speak, because you left me at our own wedding to flirt with girls." "Basically I learned to be a pick-up artist when I was married," says John, "and that's something I shouldn't have done." "I'm really sorry," adds John in a bombshell apology. "There was a lot of neglect…

considering the number, and the clout of feminists, it is actually encouraging to see that comments here don't get buried under 500 feminist downvotes against 10 men's right upvoters. I reserve the right to downvote feminist themes, too. So occasional visits here are by feminists are ok. Maybe some feminists actually learn the truth when reading here!?

thanks for your comment. You are very lucky you did not spend any time in jail. Let me venture that your rape accusations happened 20 years ago, when hysteria had not yet blossomed to todays extremes. Nowadays, you are just in trouble if a woman cries "rape" and first you go to jail, immediately

your opinion is quite moderate. Probably most people here would agree with you. There probably has to be some limit, and 18 is absurd, and 13 makes some sense. 30 years ago when feminists had not made the big impression, age of consent was usually around that age. The other thing I totally agree: fantasy and photos should be free. You can have photos of corpses and mutiliation, and if you are sick enough to get turned on by this, you still don't get 20 years in jail, even for looking at mutilate…

There are 2 issues. One is where you draw the line, and there is a valid reason to think that a very mature, big, tall, sexually active 17 year old mother of 2 children might not need legal protection but that the line should be earlier the other issue is simply semantics. Calling consensual sex a rape instead of illegal sex with a minor is like calling some small digression "murder". It makes no sense to use a well defined word for other behavior for which a well defined word already exists. Ex…

how sensitive she was. That is what she stresses. Poor Lorena. I wonder if her husband was sensitive to cutting his penis off. Seems she still has not figured out that she committed a maior crime, and a huge breach of trust. I don't dare to sleep with a girl friend when I know she is pissed off. thanks Lorena.

fondling a 4 year old should probably be a crime. But it is different from sticking ones penis or a broom stick into her vagina. You don't call someone a murderer for punching or slapping a 4 year old. Murder has a meaning. Torture has a meaning. you just don't create language confusion unless you have a political axe to grind. if you don't call indecent fondling of a minor by the name "rape", that does not mean you have to legalize it. But maybe penetrative rape of a 4 year old should give you …

Your position is quite moderate, definitely more liberal then the legal situation in most countries, nowadays I think you can argue that under 13 consent is not valid. But, following the argument of the article in question, it is still very interesting to know if the guy fondled a 7 year old he conned into agreement to passing his hands on her private parts, of if he punched the child into the face, strangled her, and then stuck something into her. There are 2 issues: one is what should be allow…

interesting article. A bit hard to read, it tries to explain feminist's constant successes by evolutionary theory, that women have better social manipulation skills. Fits into the theory about feminist shaming, though it does not mention it
